"System Error" on "Access Points" 6120classic

When i try to access "access points" on connections settings,
(menu> settings> phone settings> connections) it gives me an error: "System error!"
does someone know how to solve it?

it might be a software glitch, try:
1- if you have "sett. wizard" in your settings menu . try to reapply your Access points by choosing "operator". and then try to open access points again.
2- restore factory settings. if the first method didn't work.

    SQL Service account is DOMAIN\SQLAdmin
Have given the SQLAdmin AD account access to the Backup shares on the file servers (2 file servers, FILE1, FILE2)
and I still get the error
Operating system error 5(Access is denied.).
    RESTORE FILELISTONLY
    FROM DISK = N'\\SERVER\APPS\backups\UA\DB\DB.BAK'
I trid to attach it as device, which runs
    sp_addumpdevice 'disk', 'Network_Share', '\\SERVER\backup\APPS\UA\DB\DB.BAK'
BUT when restoring, same error occurred (Access denied)
Only case I can backup/restore to/from network shares, is from the machines where SQL Server runs (SQL1, SQL2)
e.g. I copy the BAK file from FILE1 to SQL2, share the folder (add SQLAdmin account with access), then restore on SQL1 with file from SQL2 Share
    RESTORE FILELISTONLY
    FROM DISK = N'\\SQL2\backups\UA\DB\DB.BAK'

Finally I found solution and was able to bring back online the SQL Services...
I had a very similar issue with the following error (event log):
    Description:
The SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER) service terminated with service-specific error 17058 (0x42A2).
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

In this case the ERRORLOG file had been marked as read only. This was following a scheduled automated boot.  -This
    was culprit
MSSQL wouldn't not start until this file had been changed.

It looks like the SQL Server service account doesn't have the needed registry permissions.  This may be because the account was changed directly using service control manager instead of using the SQL Server Configuration tool.
Try changing the SQL Server service account using the SQL Server Configuration tool to another account temporarily and then back to the desired one and restart SQL Server.  This should assign the permissions the service account requires.

  • Server2012: system error 5 access is denied

I can successfully log in as administrator to this virtual server after connecting through HyperV. The server time is OK. When I run net user from Power Shell, it displays the two existing accounts (admin and guest). When I try and add a new user, I get
the system error 5 access is denied message.

Simply do it using an elevated prompt. Do a right click then choose run as administrator
option before running Powershell. If you still have the access denied issue then double check your local permissions.

  • "System Error" when accessing Clock - 6110 Navigat...

    Hi all,
Did a software upgrade last week using the Nokia update software.
Said it all worked fine, but now, when I try and access the Clock to change alarms, etc. I get a message saying "System Error"
I've reset to factory defaults and done another update but no joy.
    HELP!!
    DaveA

This probably means that corrupt data concerning the clock or alarm was backed up and restored.
Do the backup with PC Suite, reformat the phone again, and restore only the data that you know you need (example, contacts, messages etc.), don't leave all boxes ticked on the restore.
You need a fairly recent version of PC Suite to do the partial backup/restore, the latest is at www.nokia.com/pcsuite.

  • Error reading table TOBJ - System Error when accessing Analysis of Change Requests

    Hi Experts,
When I am trying to access Status Report or Processing time I get the following errors:
Error reading Table TOBJ - system error, An error occurred when getting data from the
processor and Log not found (in main memory).
I am not sure how this table gets populated or how to check for inconsistencies.
We have already checked the patch levels and they are on the same level for all environments.
We never had these errors in our Dev and Qa environments. We recently got a new TREX environment, could that be causing any of these errors.
Any ideas how to troubleshoot this problem?
    Thanks

QUOTE: " Yeah I just scored this one.
Look in Windows Services. Start > Administration > Services
Find the Service in the list called: SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER) look for the "Log On As" column (need to add it if it doesn't exist in the list).
This is the account you need to give permissions to the directory, right click in explorer > properties > Shares (And Security)
NOTE: Remember to give permissions to the actual directory AND to the share if you are going across the network.
Apply and wait for the permissions to propogate, try the backup again.
NOTE 2: if you are backing up across the network and your SQL is running as "Local Service" then you are in trouble ... you can try assigning permissions or it may be easier to backup locally and xcopy across outside of SQL Server
    (an hour later).
NOTE 3: If your running as network service then SOMETIMES the remote machine will not recognize the network serivce on your SQL Server. If this is the case you need to add permissions for the actual computer itself eg. MyServer$. "

  • Internal System Error prevents access to https pages of HP Deskjet 3052A

    OK, sorry, try this: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-104282-2&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en

If this is still a problem, try this:Instead of going to an HTTPS page from the HTTP page, start out in the HTTPS pages. Example: Normally, you would go to http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx to access your printer's web interface, and then you click the link to one of the HTTPS pages.Try this: Go to httpS://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (capitalized only for effect). This will bring you to the homepage of the printer, but there won't be any information on it. Click the Settings Tab, and then the Security link. You will be brought to a screen to create a password for the Admin account for the SSL pages. Once you've created this password, it will all work the way it's supposed to. The problem is that the web interface requires you to create a password in order to access the SSL pages, but HP messed up and put the page to create the account on an SSL page. So, you can't access the page to create your account, because you haven't created the account yet. I just spent the last hour and a half chatting with tech support on this and I finally found the backdoor solution. I asked them to pass it on so, maybe someday it'll be fixed in a firmware update.  Try this and let me know if it works for you. I've seen many other people with the same problem and no solution.

  • Cannot associate with the access point error message

We just got high-speed Internet installed at our house. We have a cable coming into the house that connects to a Linksys WAP54G router in our basement. We have two Dell Dimension computers that we installed Linksys PCI Wireless G Cards into. The computer down the basement is working just fine. The computer upstairs which is directly above the router worked fine the first day. The computer got powered down and upon restart wouldn't connect again. I did a system restore and it worked fine. Windows errored out yesterday, and now even after doing a restore, I cannot get it to connect to the wireless network. The error message "Cannot Associate with the Access Point" comes up. When you search for available wireless networks, none appear. Any ideas?

Try connecting to the network using the Wireless Zero Configuration...just checkout on the right-hand side bottom of the screen pc right-click the Wireless network connetion icon...click view available wireless networks...click refresh network list...on the same list you will see Change the order of preferred networks...on top of the page click wireless networks...in preferred networks...remove each & every network...click OK. Now, once again right-click the Wireless network connetion icon on right-hand side bottom of the screen & click view available wireless networks...click refresh network list...now you will be able to see your wireless network..if its a secured network it will ask you for the wireless wep key...put in the key...where it says confirm the network key & click connect...it will be CONNECTED....and you will be able to go ONLINE WIRELESSLY!!!

  • Error when accessing a single Access Point

    Dear all,
Since yesterday I can't access anymore my unprotected Wifi Access Point (receive an error message stating "an error occurred while trying to access selected..." or something equivalent).
However another PC can connect to the access point, and my macbook can properly connect to a different access point.
I already completely reset my access point, and I think that the underlying issue may be linked to the fact my macbook has cached the Access Point's mac address.
Would you have any clue how to reset this cache or even better how to solve this issue ?
    Thanks a lot !
    Laurent

In the Airport settings in the Network System Preference you can change the "By default, join" option to "Preferred networks". B doing this you will access to all of the networks that have been saved. Just delete any of the ones you need to, apply the change and then you can readd them.

  • An Error Occurred while trying to join "my wireless access point"

    Hi,
I've been using wireless access for a year and never had a problem connecting.
But starting yesterday I get a +*An Error Occurred while trying to join "my wireless access point", Please try again.+* Message.
I have 2 Mac's and have no problem connecting with the other one. It’s just the IMac.
I tried everything including resetting router, changing password, adding a $ to the password, accessing without password, deleting the whole air port and create a new one, but still getting the same message.
I might need to add, while I was working with the IMac I didn’t use wireless for a few hours, but when I got back to my browser I noticed that I was connected to a different wireless service. (FONFREEINTERNET if it matters) I have no idea why, since I didn’t change it.
Anyways, I tried to switch back to my access point, but it wouldn’t let me. It’ll just give me the +*An Error Occurred while trying to join "my wireless access point", Please try again.+* Message.
Funny is when I use the FONFREEINTERNET access point the internet seems to work fine.
I could look up Google without a problem, but when I tried to connect to Facebook for example it won’t let me. Instead a FONFREEINTERNET page will pop up with some options on how to pay! (by minute/or day/or week…)
I get the strange feeling that they planted some kind of bug/virus!!!
I don’t know what else to do.
Anyone knows that problem? What can I do?
    Any help is greatly appreciated!
    I researched on FONFREEINTERNET, there’s a spot close to my house/guess that’s the one I used…
http://maps.fon.com/ ZIP CODE 904-0113 and you’ll see a coffee pod, which is about 2 minutes walk from my house.

    Hello Tesserax,
I get the same error message again...
I tried the 3 suggested steps again, but unfortunately it did not work.
After a Restart, Sleep or just the awaking from Screensaver mode I’m disconnected from my wireless Network anymore.
Even if the Computer was asleep for just a second!
I am able to fix the problem temporarily with Network Preferences → Assist me → Diagnostics
Choose Airport → Choose network → Enter Password (Even if I check safe password it’ll ask me every time) → and than usually all lights on the left menu switch from red to green and I get the popup message “A Network Change has been detected. Your Internet seems to work fine.” (similar - I’m at work and don’t remember exactly)
And it works fine…until the screensaver comes on or it sleeps again
I have the Problem with my IMac and Mini but the IMac at least remembers my password…
    Any Ideas
I’m connected through a Buffalo WZR2-G300N wireless router
