I am working on SAP R/3 4.7,oracle DB & AIX OS.
Can we block the save to local file or office folder & print option from a particular T-Code.
I want to block this option from a particular T-Code.Is it possible?

Hi Gopal,
It seems a security issue. you can do the following.
go to suim and check which role has the transaction assigned.
or you can define a z role and assign the transaction to it.
There is a object, something lie ...s_gui which you need to block for the transaction.
This will grey out the file download option.
If things are not clear, then please search for s_gui, you will get some doc on it.

The necessary java code to achieve this needs to be put in the file: includes/bodyStart.jsp above the line that creates the navigation bar:

Menu Options in responsibilities getting displayed in different language.

When we are logging in with the English language in R12, the menu options for some responsibilities are displayed in different languages, which is looking very strange. This is happening to different responsibilities. can any one help me on this.

When I don't have the BROWSER menu option turned on, the WINDOW menu options are un-accessable by mouse

First of all, I would like to clarify which "menu" is un-accessable.
I'm referring to the menu that regardless of which program, a user can access by either clicking ALT + SPACE or by clicking the top left corner of the window. I'm NOT referring to the FIREFOX menu options, those I am fine with.
Normally, I can just move my mouse to the top left corner and double click to close a program. I used to be able to do that too with firefox 3.6. However, due to the new design, when I click the top left corner, I get the orange Firefox drop down menu. This is because firefox, due to the new update, no longer has an independent window bar that is the norm across most programs. The only way I can get this independent menu bar is to enable the browser menu bar. This however, adds two entire layers of bars, which defeats one of the purposes of the update, to give more viewing space
The Chrome browser also has the tab row on top, however, it doesn't have the issue I brought up. When I click the top left corner of the window, the regular WINDOW menu options pop up.
The reason why this is important to me is due to the fact that I use two monitors. Normally, I can just move my cursor to the top right and close the window without looking for my right hand side monitor, and then double click the top left hand side of my left hand side monitor to close the window. This is because with a 2 monitor set up, the "X" close button is located inconvinently in the middle of my two screens, forcing me to aim for the tiny small red rectangle, which is why I prefere to double click the top left corner; I don't have to aim.
I have long been a loyal user of firefox. Browsers like Chrome and others have been out ranking firefox for a long time, mozilla is only playing catch up here...
While I am glad for the update - better speed due to JaegerMonkey, the added hardware acceleration, the tab groups, and more, if the window menu problem is not resolved soon, this update is going to force me to switch browsers.
I look forward to a fix, or response on how to resolve this issue.

Still a firefox user... for now

it's possible but there is likely no need to do this. what exactly is wrong with your computer? a simple reinstall of snow leopard on top of your current system will cure many ills and will preserve your data and applications. and many problems can be solved without reinstalling at all.
but if you insist on doing a wipe and install boot from the SL install DVD and start disk utility from utilities menu at the top. erase your hard drive using the erase tab in disk utility. then quit disk utility and proceed with the install. and if you do reinstall I suggest you back up your data first. otherwise it will be completely wiped when you erase your hard drive. and you should always back up anyway.

German menu options in the app store instead of English

When I select the app store icon on my iPad main screen, I am taken to the US based app store, however all menu options are in German. The apps themselves are still US based and still in US currency I.e I do not have Germany selected as my country otherwise they would be German apps. I want US everything. I bought my iPad 2 weeks ago and is been like this since I started it. iTunes on the other hand is completely in English.
1. my language preference is set to english within the iPad itself.
2. I have changed iTunes language preferences to English
3. I have ensured the flag in the bottom corner is US not Germany
4. My credit card account is US based and I have a US address
5. I have made all language changes on my laptop and synced.
Does anyone have any suggestion as to how to change these menu options to English instead of German? Thx

Thanks for your quick reply.   I have purchsed iPhoto 9.5.   And I downloaded and installed the Library Upgrader 1.1, before first opening the newly installed iPhoto 9.5 (as recommended). I can tell that iPhoto 9.5 has been installed - as the icon is now blue (and not organe/red).
Then I tried to open iPhoto, and received a notification - that I must first install the Library Upgrader 1.1.   I restarted the MacBook.   Tried again.   Same notification messages.   I downloaded (and installed) the Library Upgrader 1.1, again.   Restarted the MacBook.   Tried to open iPhoto again.   Same notification messages.
These notifications give me only 2 options - to QUIT iPhoto or to "Learn More" about the download of the Library Upgrader (and a link to do so).
One observation that might be a part of the issue (or the diagnosis).   The system requirements cited on the download page indicate the following... and NOT OS X Mavericks.
OS X Lion 10.7
OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or later
Any suggestions on how I might get iPhoto to work??   THANKS!!

Disable Refresh menu option on Page Title Bar

Hi,
We have a TLN node that opens an iview in a new window. Therefore nothing is displayed in the portal page. However the Page Title Bar menu still has all the options (Open in New Window, Refresh, Details etc.) and if a user selects Refresh, it throws a portal runtime error (iView not found: .default). How can I disable the menu options for this iview? I have tried setting the Show Refresh etc. parameters to No but it didn't work - I assume because the iview isn't being opened in the portal page.

the iview you need to explore is page title bar i view in default framework page available in portal standard user directory in portal content.In this context i would like to suggest a solution why don,t you creat a default framework page just copy it in your folder and open it and disable all checkboxes associated to page title bar and save after that go on to create a deskttop in portal display in system configuration and add your framework page and theme from themes in portal content and then add a rule to the main rule in super administrators folder which will for role of the user will display onle that desktop.i have illustrated the concept of branding if you want to avoid codeing or command groups which is long approach.hope this helps youplease do not forget to give points

Is there a System Menu for special Functions, like WIPE CACHE?

On my DX, there was a method of pressing and holding the Menu button & Power up button to get to special "Systems" functions like WIPE CACHE & FACTORY RESET. Does such a procedure exist for the Razr ? I know about SAFE MODE and was able to see that work. (Although my finger hurt having to press the up/down Volume buttons for so ling. )

While I have done this quite a few times (and this has made my phone a bit more responsive when it gets sluggish) you should be careful and watch what you are doing. If you select the wrong menu option you may end up having to contact Verizon for support.
Wiping the cache partition
Power the phone off
Press and hold the volume down, volume up and power button until the recovery screen appears.
Use the volume down button to select "Recovery" and then press the volume up to confirm the selection.
The phone will do a little reboot thing, display the dual core logo thing and then an Android next to a triangle with a yellow exclamation point will appear. At this point press the volume up and volume down buttons at the same time.
If you did everything correctly you are now at the Android System Recovery Screen. To clear the cache press the volume down button until you have selected "wipe cache partition". Press the power button to confirm the selection and it will wipe the cache partition.
Once the cache is cleared press the volume up button to select "Reboot System Now" and press the power button to confirm the selection. If the "Reboot System Now" is already selected then just press the power button to confirm the selection and the phone will reboot.

The File Menu options is missing in PSE v9?

I called support a year or more ago and they provided a fix. This was after i first upgraded. Now I have had to reinstall the OS on my PC and re-install PSE downloaded from site.
No File menu! Can you Help?

Lots of information. But it noe of it provided a solution to my problem. In fact I had the problem of no File menu when I first bought PSE 9.
As a new customer for that version, I was eligble for support via a live person.
They gave me a fix and voila! There was the file menue with about a dozen menu options including seach, get photos from camera, import, export, create new catalog, and more.
I did not forsee that my system would eventually crash and require a re-image. And new install of PSE. When I did so the file functionality was missing again but I did not save the instructions. Been a little over a year.

Open Recent menu option not working

My open recent menu option under the "file" menu is greyed out and I can'g access my recent projects. Any ideas why this is? I'm using a Mac that has a few different users under different Logins on OSX Lion 10.7.4. I've heard that some preferences may need to be deleted but I don't want to mess up my system and delete the wrong file! Any help would be appreciated.

Where are you saving to?
Try repairing Permissions/Disk in Disk Utility.

Oracle 11i System Profile Option - Concurrent Define and Executable

I'm looking for what I think is a System Profile Option within Oracle Financials that will allow me to open Concurrent Program Define at the same time as Concurrent Program Executables so that I can copy and paste from one to the other. I can do this in our Dev. Environment but we recently refreshed the Test environment and I lost this ability.
I'm using the System Administrator responsibility within 11i and am referring to where you define your concurrent programs and executables.
I'm assuming this is a system profile option but I am unable to find it.
Our version is 11.5.10.2

I think you have the Close Other Forms check box option checked. In the main menu, choose the Tools menu and see how is this checkbox status.If it is checked, just unchek it. You will be able to open both forms at same time.

Safari Right Click Menu Options

Ever since I updated to Safari 5.0.3 at home, I no longer have all of the numerous drop-down options for saving images when I right click with my Wacom Stylus or my mouse. I only get 3 options. I also have Safari 5.0.3 on my Mac at work, but I still have all of my drop down menu options. There aren't any preferences I can change for this, so what can I do? It's very aggravating to not be able to save pics right to the folders I have set up. I can only download them to the desktop or drag them to opened folders. What gives?

Disconnect the tablet, restart your Mac. Launch Safari and see if the drop down menus function as they should. If so, then re connect the tablet, open System Preferences, select the orange Ink icon. You may need to reset your Wacom tablet preferences.

Firefox is opening to a black screen and I can not access any menu options to reset it. Can I reset it from the application on my desktop?

I am using Windows 7 and have never had a problem with Firefox. When I tried to open yesterday, after using all day, opened to black screen (grey panel across top of screen). I shut computer down and restarted it and is still not working. If I uninstall will I loose bookmarks and other saved information?
