T-Code: Mass to Update the Installation Object?
When using the TCode Mass I do not see an object listed for the installation.
Does anyone know how to add it? Could we go to the enhancements for SAPMMSDL and add installation?
I did not find any user exits for the package MASS.
Any advice or guidance please?
I found and read the Cookbook, Mass Changes in IS-U.
It tells me about mass changes but is any of this available in the TCODE: MASS?
To put my request in context a bit. I wanted to update EANL and set the field ABLESARTST in MASS for 30k installations.

You can also develop a custom program using the FMs ISU_S_INSTLN_PROVIDE and ISU_S_INSTLN_CHANGE.
You need to first calling FM "ISU_S_INSTLN_PROVIDE" to get the auto object. Then update the field y_auto-data-ABLESARTST. And call FM "ISU_S_INSTLN_CHANGE" to pass back the data to the system.

I have set up a simple custom HCM process and Form regarding Infotype TO CREATE AND CHANGE POSITION. I have checked the process and form consistency and it seems fine. Now when I run the process from HRASR_DT it generates a process number but it also gives an error workflow could not start.I get following error (SWIA log - Step history)

Points to be noted:
1) I have searched few SAP notes such as 1384961(Notes for 6.0.4) but our system is in higher level patch 6.0.5

help me how to update   Tr code   fb02
and update the field reference key1 (bseg-xref1) with the interest amount
calculated.
Below i have written My program flow logic
The program should read the open items i.e debit items in the customer account,
Based on the invoice date and customer payment terms calculate the due date and then the interest should be calculated on that item based on the due date.
Use the transaction fb02 and update the field reference key 1 (BSEG-xref1)
with the interest amount calculated
Only consider customers whose interest indicator knb1-vzskz = 'vk'.
Interest is to be calculated for every 30 days
at the rate of 1% .please see example below.
Document date is 01.01.2007
for amount 1000SGD   payment term 7 days
It becomes due on 08.01.2007
until 06.02.2007 you should not consider for calculation of interest
SGD on   7.02.2007 run you can consider this item for interest calculation

I am looking at Ref 2 should flow automatically to clearing document from the accounitng document for billing.
Ex: Billing document is created and accounted. Ref 2 is AB
Now when receipt is accounted for this biling document this AB should flow automatically to Ref 2 field.

Error updating the process object in MSS workflow...

Hi All,
I copied the standard workflow 'WS18900010' and triggered the same in backend. In this the first step is to approve the form. I set the agent as WF Initiator for this step. Now I approved the form. But the workitem went into error giving the error message 'ERROR UPDATING THE PROCESS OBJECT'.
What could be the reason for this?
If the originator of request and approver of request is same(just for testing purpose), then may dis also result into above error?
Please suggest.

Hello,
Please maintain this 'CL_HRASR00_POBJ_WF_EXIT' in the workflow exit for the specific task and also at the workflow header level.
Execute the process and if still error occurs, check for HCM P&F authorization and if it is fine, then check if the case settings are maintained correctly.
you can find the case configuration in HCM P&F help docu.

You ran a defective third-party "utility" such as "CleanMyMac" or "MacCleanse" that purports to "clean up" "junk" files. What it really does is to corrupt the operating system and many applications.
The first thing you need to do is remove that software according to the developer's instructions. Never install it, or anything like it, again. Then see below.
If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance. You can skip this step if you don't care about the data that hasn't been backed up.

Error code "-1" while updating the iOS from IPAD2

When I try to update my IPAD2 to iOS 4.3.2 I receive the error code "-1" at the end of the installation, and now I´m stuck in the restore point, because the system don´t boot anymore. When I connect to Itunes it says I have to download the update, then the error appear again, and this is going over and over... Any hints here?

Difficulty in updating the list object values

I have created a list with Objects(MyVertex). I am trying to update the list based on the condition . Instead it adds duplicate values. The simple logic is (if the object is already in the list )only update the values or add to the list (Object) Please help me how can I correct my code.

Update the authorization object value for more than 1000 role

I need to remove one of the activity value (06) from authorization object S_SCD0.
I do a search and found out that there are more than 1000 roles which having the activity value = 06 for authorization object S_SCD0.
However, I don't think I can create a SCAT script to update all these 1000 roles and I believe its going to be a very tedious if I am going to manually change it one-by-one. Hence, I am wondering is there any standard program/function which I can use to automate the above changes for all these 1000 over roles.

Direct update the table is the easiest way, but should be discourage for the obvious reason.
Should take a step back, take a long term view, when you need to update 1000 roles, maybe a role redesign might be needed. For example, if you can change the role model to derive role model, once update to the parent role will take care of all the child role.

then right click the installation file and click 'run as administrator', if you have a win os.

Transaction code/Program to update the Business place/Section

Dear Sir?Madam
We have migrated from 4.6B to ECC6. we are implementing EWT and are testing the tax etnries. while doing miro in some douments the users forgot to update the business place and section field. while doing challan updation it is not allowing to update the challan.
Can you help in suggesting which program or transaction code can be run to update the business place and section so that the challan can be updated and certificate printed.

It seems you are entering the FI document number in the
selection screen of the transaction J1INPP. You need to give
the MIRO document number in the section screen of transaction
J1INPP instead of corresponding FI document number. Once you enter the
MIRO document number in the transaction J1INPP, the program will update
the business place and section code for the corresponding FI document.

10.5.4 Update: The Installer could not install some files in "/"

I am unable to install 10.5.4 on my Intel iMac. I have rebooted multiple times, disconnected all external drives including my printer and tried the installer with no success. I have not found anything pointing to why on the forums. Any assistance would be helpful.

I am having the same issue, and a permissions repair did nothing for me.
I have attempted an install from software update, downloaded both the 10.5.3/4 combo update, and the 10.5.4 update and manually tried to install, each time with the same error: The Installer could not install some files in "/"

I get Error Code 1 when using the installer. Please advise.

When running the installer, it quits with the message: Error Code 1. Please advise how to resolve @this error.

I ran the CC Cleaner tool to uninstall Photoshop CC. PCC kept crashing every time soon after I tried editing an image. I gave up. After the cleaning, I tried to re-install PCC. The error code 1 showed each time I ran the installer.

Why org vaues is not updating the Changed Objects

hi all,
we have a master role with some some objects as maintained and some as changed and some as standard.
when i derived some 10 child roles and added org values. this org value is not pusing for the changed objects, even when i add it in the field, once if i make any other modification in the master role and distribute it to child roles then all the org values for the changed objects are going to blank again
so, org values wont push or work for changed objects? please help

Is it a coincidence that the objects having ORG level fields are in changed state in the master role or is it becasue of the SAP feature?
When we directly maintain ORG fileds in objects and NOT in the specified ORG window, then
first - > the object status goes to changed
second -> when you create derived roles, that field will not be maintained in the derived role even though you maintain ORG values in derived roles. The value maintained in the master role is passed to the child role.
What you need to do is follow what Jurjen said..... first ... fix the messed up master role, and then maintain the ORG values in the derived roles.

How do I update it to include the new kernel 2.6.25?
