Iam having field in table control to display the output... Can i restrict that field as to give non zero values only?
like....

If the question is "can I show zero as blank in a table control" then one easy option is to have the display column as a character field, and then fill it conditionally from your real column of data e.g. something like
if not gs_data-amt_field is initial.
write gs_data-amt_field to gs_data-char15 left-justified. "apply whatever masks you want & display char15 field
endif.

You use an internal table for values in table control..
One of the fields( very first field) in that itab is used for check - uncheck..
u have make it 'X' when u click any row...
I think this might be the problem in ur case.. when u scroll PAI starts... in that PAI check the value of check box for that particular field...

F4 help for a field on table control

Hi All,
I have to display F4 help for a purticular field on the table control depending on one of the value in the row if the table.
There will be multiple entries in the table control and the F4 help for the field should change according to the value of other field in the row.
Can anybdy help me out doing this.....

Drop down list in Table Control - Value disappeared after pressing ENTER

Dear Gurus,
I have a problem in one of my development where I used a table control in which one field is a drop down list.
I used VRM_SET_VALUES and VRM_GET_VALUES for populating the values from the programand not use any domain level value table for that field.
My problem is when I select one value from this list , and pressing enter , the value get disappeared. But if I use a domain for this field with value table then everything working properly.
My doubt is am I doing some miss coding or using the VRM_ function modules improperly ?

How to manage scrolling in Table Control

Hi,
I have one scenario in which i have one table control in that one column contains check boxes. After i check, some check boxes in some rows and press scrolling button means the selection previously made goes off. I want the selection remains selected.
Please any one suggest me how to manage this.

Your PAI flow logic should be following this type of structure:

As noted above, you need to catch the values of your checkboxes within the loop / endloop for the table control, and do any scrolling after this.

Record not shown in table control

Hi experts,
I am working on the module pool program with a screen 0100. There is a table control called TABL_MATR in screen 0100.
There is no error while compiling the program. But no record shown when a record added into the table control.
I do not want to use the headerline in the program, because I intented to do it in OO way.
Record shown if I do like this:
DATA: ITAB_TRAY TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF LS_TRAY WITH HEADER LINE.
In PBO
loop at itab_tray " record show in the table control
whereas record not shown if do like this:
DATA: ITAB_TRAY TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF LS_TRAY.
In PBO
loop at itab_tray into wa_tray " no record show in the table control
Can someone guide me how to do it in the right way?

I have also followed what Devendra's suggested, however the same error message I get:
"ITAB_TRAY" is not a structure or internal table with header line.
As such I have changed the statement
module fill_table_control output.
MOVE-CORRESPONDING wa_tray TO itab_tray.
endmodule.
to

APPEND wa_tray TO itab_tray.
endmodule.
After changed, compiled no error.
But, when I started to use the program I got another error which closed the whole SAP screen.
Therefore I tried to change the TABLE CONTROL setting to

Create Table Control
Step 1 (Create new structure for table control)
Type is name of structure (ZTC_EKKO) and press create
Step 2 (Create Program)
Goto transaction SE80(Object Navigator) -> Repository Browser -> Program.
Enter your program name, please ensure that is begins with SAPMZ as this is a module pool (dialog program).
Press enter to create, and press yes!
Ensure that you create a top include, and press Enter.
Accept the name created for the top include.
Press Enter.
Press Save
Step 3 (Create TOP include)
Double click on the top include and enter following ABAP code:
Tables: ZTC_EKKO.
controls: tc100 type tableview using screen 100.
data: ok_code type sy-ucomm.
data: it_ekko type standard
table of ZTC_EKKO initial size 0,
wa_ekko type ZTC_EKKO.
data: ok_code type sy-ucomm.
Press Save and Activate
Step 4 (Create screen)
Right click the program to create a screen 100 for the dialog. Enter Short description, set screen type to Normal and enter 0 or blank into Next screen. Then move to Element List tab and enter the OK code as OK_CODE (i.e. the same as what you declared in the top include with data: ok_code type sy-ucomm).
Step 5 (Create table control)
Press the Layout button to bring up the screen painter editor.
Press table control button and drag it on to the screen, enter the name of table control created in TOP include (TC100). Now press the yellow button for attributes and set the table control as below options
Step 6 (Populate table control )
Press the orange button (Fields). On the next screen enter ZTC_EKKO and press the Get from Dict button. Select the fields you want (all) and press enter. Now drag them onto your Table Control.
Below is the result, there will been syntax errors if we check now! So Save and go back into the flow logic tab.
Step 7 (Create flow control )
Within the flow logic of screen 100 and create two modules, one to select the data from the database and the other to move the selected fields into the table control. Also insert the two loop statements to populate and retrieve the lines of the table control.

Take Text Element Radio button there and give any number and activate.
If the Visible lenght of the Table Control Field is less than actual length of the Content, it automatically displays the Tool Tip.
I just did it.

How to know no of selected fields in Table Control in at the first iteratio

Hi ABAP Gurus,
I have developed screen with Table control. At one particular scenario, I need to
display an error message if all the displayed records are not selected. So I need to know the No of selected fields on the Table control in the very first iteration of the Loop in PAI event. Is there any Function Module/Method or any other way to Achieve this.

You can simply count them, but looping the table and checking the "select" flag.

Hi,
If you want to display a field of type c as checkbox in tablecontrol.
After opening screen painter, click the option ChkB for that field while getting the fields from Dictionary/Program Fields -> Get From Program.
Now drag the box on to your table control.
Chk this demo program: DEMO_DYNPRO_TABCONT_LOOP_AT
& RSDEMO02.
Another way:
Go to the edit mode of the screen select the table control column you want to make it as check box and follow the menu EDIT->CONVERT->check box.
(make sure that column definition in itab/ddtab is of size 1 char)

U need to clear the contenents of internal table used to store the record displayed by table control.
Every time the PBO is triggered the table control is automatically cleared, so you need only not to transfer any data from internal table to table control.
So you should show how your PBO if you want a right answer.

Hi,
I dont think that pushbuttons will be of much use as when you click a button same code will be executed all time.
So, you can take either selection column in table control (use the SELCOL in the table attributes)
or you can also take a checkbox in table control and then can perform action on lines which were selected by the user.

Error in editing table control in module pool

Hello Abap experts,
I am working on module pool.
When I am editing row in table control if table control has only one row to edit(By clicking edit push button) then I am getting error as "Dynpro_Field_Conversion error" in module pool.
Error is showing in PBO 'module fill table control'.
But if there are more than 1 rows in table control it doesn't give any error and run successfully.
So please help me on that.

Can you explain in detail what field(is it quantity, currency etc) you are trying enter and what data.
