Table Controls/Settings in VF02/VF03
Hi,
Is anyone aware of way to supress the Table Control icon on VF02 and VF03 using exits or a badi. We have a situation where we need to hide the Cost (WAVWR) field from certain users but not for the majority (we've hidden the cost in the pricing conditions using the Sap Note).
I know we could possibly use SHD0 but this would be over kill to create a transaction variant for a few users.
I wondered if it would be possible to set user variants in the table controls for the relevant users prior to allowing them to log on and then use an exit or a badi to suppress the table controls for these users (checking a custom table) within VF02 and VF03 so they cannot change back to standard settings.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Dear Stanleytic .
With the help of your basis consultant, find the authorisation object of that particular field.
Take the help of your abaper-to make it hidden for the roles of those few users.
Thanks & Regards,

How can I add one more column or some standard procedure to do that. Please suggest .
Thanks & Regards
Aryanhi,
If you don't want to access key...then only option is ,you have to search USER Exit or BADi (Try using BADI ME_GUI_PO_CUST) for me22n transaction......to adding the field.

It's difficult to know the difference for these so-called "table name"...
"SAP implementaion --> supplier relationship management --> supplier self-service --> settings for user interface --> make field control settings for tables"+
What's actual meaning for these table names? Where can I find related document and actual corresponding transparent tables for these so-called talbes?
Thanks and best regards
JackHi Neelima,
Thanks a lot.
Checked the SAP note, but I could not find corresponding infomation about that, kindly please advise again.

Reg : Table control row settings to change mode
Hi geeks.
I am working on a requirement where the table control has to be in display mode at the time of prepopulating(initial display). This works fine and could get all columns in display mode for which i used column properties of table control. I could select a row from the table control and created a button above the table control for copy of the row which is added to the last row of the TC. I could get this with out any issues. They want the added row to be in changed mode whereas the other rows selected previously should remain in the display mode. Can anybody help me out to solve.Timely help will be appreciated <removed by moderator>

Kumar.

How to delete columns in table control (tab Services) for transaction ME51
Hi, gurus!
We're facing this problem in our upgrade: we have a batch input (ME51) in order to create purchase requisitions, but we get an error with the dynpro data (program: SAPMM06B, dynpro: 0102).
We are sure we populate all the required fields in that screen.
The only possible reason we find for that error is the fact that we have two new entries in table control (in tab services=> Current settings there are 67 fixed columns)
We had to add in table T162V (which previously had only 65 columns for each variant): ESLL-SRVMAPKEY y ESLL-EXTERNALID, as described on note 1382685, so table control and table T162V could have same number of fields.
We guess we could solve the batch input error deleting those fields in both table control and T162V, but don't know how.
We really would appreciate any clue.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
J. MadariagaIt's an own batch input.
The error is: "Batch input information for dynpro SAPMM06B 0102 does not exist", but the fields in that screen are alright.
And that batch input works fine in another client with same patch level, but without fields ESLL-SRVMAPKEY and ESLL-EXTERNALID in table T162V, so I guess that could be the problem (not sure about it, of course).

How do I identify OK Code in table control in BDC (scroll up/down)?
Hi. I have read a lot of very good posts and articles here in the forums about how to work with table controls when writing a BDC program. Unfortunately I haven't found any that address the specific issue that I'm having.
I'm writing a program to update the line items of a Parked Document using transaction FBV2. I want to be able to insert a row at the end of the previously existing rows regardless of how many there are and I can't seem to figure out the correct OK Codes to scroll up or down, or page up or down within the table control so I can guarantee that I will get to the next available row.
For example. I have a Parked Document with 13 line items. I would like to insert the new line item as row 14. I know that 10 rows will be displayed at run time on this screen according to my settings in the BDC call and want to scroll down 1 time and then enter the new data on the 4th line on the new set of rows.
Does anyone have any experience with this, or can someone point me in the right direction where I might find this information?
Thanks in advance,
AndyHi
In my system I can't run that trx, anyway there's any ok-code for the scrolling, you can have only the okcode for the page up/down buttons.
So you should try to understand how many rows a page can have, so if a page have 10 rows per page and you need to change the row 22, it means you have to simulate to press the page down twice and change the second row of third page.
If you run your BDC by CALL TRANSACTION u should use the option OPTIONS FROM opt, here you indicate to use the standard size of the dynpro. In this way the size of table control is not screen resolution dependent.
TABLES CTU_PARAMS.
CTU_PARAMS-DEFSIZE = 'X'.
CALL TRANSACTION 'FBV1' USING ITAB
OPTIONS FROM CTU_PARAMS.

Hi,
I am trying to change the columns in the table control of the purchase order screen (ME21N) but cant seem to able to do it,
To be more detailed I clicked on the "Configuration" button of the table control, clicked on "Administrator" and made the fields "plant/MEPO1211-WERKS" and "storage location/MEPO1211-RESLO" visible ( unchecked the fields ) but the table control does not change, I have activated the changes even created a new variant for the settings but no changes are seen, I have tried to make the other fields visible/invisible but no changes are seen.
Help is greatly appreciated.
ThanksPlease check out the following note.....

Short text Hiding of columns by table control is not possible
Responsible SAP AG
Component MM-PUR
Purchasing
Long text
Symptom
Using the table control configuration, you are unable to hide the
columns on the overview screens of the purchasing documents (purchase
requisition, purchase order, request for quotation, outline agreement).
Additional key words
ME21, ME51, ME41, ME31, ME31K, ME31L, ME21N, ME22N, ME23N, OMF4
Cause and prerequisites
The hiding of fields was and still is controlled by Customizing. Here,
you can - with the help of the field selection key - make fields
invisible (for example, for a particular document type). This setting
overrides the individual table control setting.
Solution
It is currently not possible to hide columns selectively for each user.
Instead, SAP recommends that you shift the columns you do not require in
the table control to the far right and save this setting.
If this was helpful, please award points accordingly . Thanks.

Vertical Scroll Reload on Table Control
Hello,
I've created a couple table controls in ABAP for a custom transaction that is going to be run through the web portal. My problem is that the horizontal scroll on the table is handled on the front end, and the vertical scroll is handled in the program. This means that moving the vertical scroll bar is much slower and not as user friendly as the horizontal one when run on the web (where it has to hit the back end and refresh the screen every time it's moved). I don't think there is anything I can do about that, but on behalf of my customer I thought I'd check to see if anyone here knows any settings or any way to run vertical scrolling without hitting the abap code.
Thanks,
Nathan BeelerYou might also look at the<a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_webas630/helpdata/en/24/ef243a84da356be10000000a11402f/plain.htm">ITS Service Parameters</a>. I'm thinking of ~AUTOSCROLL.

Table Control Icon appearing in Personal Data in ESS in Portal
Hello All,
We are on SAP Enterprise Portal 6.0 SPS09 with version details as
J2EE Engine 6.40 PatchLevel 87289.311
Portal 6.0.9.0.0
After installation of Portal system we installed Business Package for
Employee Self-Service 4.6C - 4.7 on our Portal system and installed ITS
6.20 patch 22 over Portal inorder for connecting Portal with Backend R/3 system.Ours is a development serverand Portal application and ITS are installed
on the same server.
When we access ESS on Portal ,and navigate to Personal Information /Personal Data / , there a small table control icon appears which we donot want to appear and which does not appear on R/3 side.Simultaneously for this transaction in R3 a selection row appears which doesnot appear in Portal. This problem is given even when we run ESS transactions through ITS on webgui.Wt might be the cause of this error ,do we need to make any settings ( Table specific) in ITS or R/3 or somewhere else. Kindly plz suggest.Plz revert at earliest. My email Id is [email protected] .
Regards,
SaumyaHi Somya,

Can you switch of the proposition of values in a table control ?
Hi,
i have a table control . I can fill in 1 column with data . When i use the program he always open a dropdown (or something like that) with the values i used before. This is very annoying in my transaction because it are numbers i have to edit and it's not really helpful to see all of the values i did use in the past ... can i switch this of ?
thx a lot!
Helgahi Helga,
This is related to the Front-end settings.
Please follow the instructions below, to swtich-off history:
1->Press <b>ALT+F12</b> (or the last button in the application toolbar [customizing of local layout]).
2->choose <b>Options</b>
3->goto <b>Local Data</b> tab (third tab)
4->select <b>OFF</b> radio button in the <b>History frame</b> (first frame)
5->Click <b>Apply</b>, <b>OK</b>..
Now try the transaction..you will feel the change.
Hope this helps,

Adding custom fields to standard table control in IW51
Hi,
I have added 4 custom fields to the standard table QMEL through the structure CI_QMEL .
In transaction IW51 there is a table control as show in the screenshot below.
The 4 custom fields which i have added in the standard table should also be added to this table control.
Can this achieved by making adjustments in SPRO settings or can it be acheived technically by using some exit?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Vignesh Sunkasi.KHi Vignesh,
Adding new fields is not possible, but custom subscreens can be added.
Check enhancements QQMA0001 (subscreen for notification header) and QQMA0008 (subscreen for additional data).
It might help you.
Thanks & Regards,

Change your system settings
System>user profile>Own data-->Defaults(tab)
in that change the decimal Notification .
The second one is what U want.
