  • Digital Signature for Inspection Plan and Routing

    Hi,
Can someone please help me on the topic of how to activate Digital Signature for inspection plan changes. I need to activate Digital signature functionality for inspection plan or routing. Please guide me to any link or shared documents on this topic.
    Thanks
    Vineeth

    Hi Vineeth,
Standard SAP does not support this. Though I came across similar situation for maintenance plan, where we used BADI for this.
Try to go through DIG_SIGNATURE_MAINT_PLAN. Consult with a good ABAPer if he can modify it some how for inspection plan.
The links below may help you to understand the functionality [http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/SAPMDM/E-SIGNATUREforMaintenancePlants-MasterData(ECC6.0)] & [http://www.consolut.com/en/s/sap-ides-access/d/s/doc/YN-IF_EX_IPRM_DIG_SIGNATURE~~~~~~DIG_SIGNATURE_MAINT_PLAN]
In SAP, check BADI_DIG_SIG_RES_REC_PROCESS, if anything can be done here.

  • BDC for Inspection plan

    Dear QM Gurus,
I have recorded BDC for QP01.
At the time of recording system was not asking for "Inspection Method". Also we have not created inspection method for any material. But after completion of recording, abaper has done his job to run that BDC.
Now when i am uploading template after entering MIC, system popup mandatory screen to enter inspection method. Here we stuck.
    Please guide.
    Thanks in advance.
    Kailash Thakkar

    Hi Kailash,
Inspection method is not mandatory field, you should be allowed to save  the Quality plan w/o entering  method. Please check following :
    1) Just check  you have not assigned any method while creating MIC.
    2) Ask ABAPER to modify the program to exclude the inspection method from BDC.
    3) I problem not resolved by  any other way, then create a simple insp method like visual check  and assign it to all MIC's in Quality plan.

  • LSMW for Inspection Plan

    Hi Sapiens,
I am a requirement to upload the Quality Management data through LSMW.
    1) Quality Info Recrod
    2) Inspection Plan
For the first one, I could able to create Project in LSMW and successfully do for over 200 customers.
I am saying problem in creating and uploading the Inspection Plan data.
I created one inspection plan with a material in QP01 (Tcode), and assigned one customer in "Material Assignment".
We have only hand full of materials (6-10 max) with MICs (10 - 15 max). So I using the same Inspection plan for material and I want to assign all the customer in Inspection plan at "Material Assignment". But at "Run Batch Input Record" in LSMW, it is failing. due to the below errors.
    1) Field MAPL-PLNAL(2) is not an input field
    2) Field MAPL-MATNR(2) is not an input field
    3) Field MAPL-WERKS(2) is not an input field
I understand that these fields are repeating, as these fields are required in "Material Assignment" tab, where I will mention Counter, Matl, Plant and Customer. but it is saying these fields are not for input. If I dont use these fields in Field mapping then it will throw an error during actual recording.
So, I need some inputs on it and all of your suggestions will be valuable.
Awaiting of your reply on this soon.
    thanks,
    Mukesh

    Hi Mukesh,
I would suggest to go for BAPI instead of LSMW for the inspection plans, if possible.
    Regards,
    Rahul

  • Capacity Reservation Table for a planned order

    Dear experts,
When I look at MD13, I can see the capacity requirement for a planned order.  I can also see the requirements build up in my CM01 screen.  We would like to pull the data into our BW system, but we are having issues finding where the capacity reservation information resides.  When I look at table KBEZ, I can only find values that correspond to production orders.  Is there a similar table for planned orders?  Does SAP save the detailed scheduling infromation for planned orders in a table somewhere, or is this calculated at the time MD13 or CM01 is run?
    Thanks,
    Matthew Bruckner

Have you tried with KBED? I can see with SE16 that you have a field for selection with the planned order number....

  • Automatic Results Recording for Inspection Plan

I'm trying to activate automatic results recording, at the beginning I get this meassage: "In customizing for default value of inspection type(400) you have to activate the following check boxes, " check characteristics", "Inspection with task list" & "Automatic assignment", I've done that. Yet, it sill doesn't work and the lot status is "CRTD" however it should be updated to "REL" status.

    Hi,
Did you search enough before posting this query? There is plenty of discussions over this matter.
Based on the details given above, I don't think you have created an inspection plan.
Automatic assignment will assign the task list automatically to the inspection lot once it is created. You didn't mention if you have created one or not. Pl check that.
If the inspection plan is created, there could be possibility that material is assigned to more than one task list (inspection plan). If that is the case, you wouldn't get inspection lots with REL status but CRTD only.

    You can do it yourself.
goto transaction St05. activate the trace. then execute the transaction. after execution goto st05. click deactivate trace.
then click display trace...hit enter button. a list will be displayed. goto menu bar choose first menu then choose option "Summarice sql statements"...a list will be displayed from which you can know what all tables were affected by the transaction.

  • Picture attachments for inspection plans

We are using QM in Procurement to inspect incoming raw materials. We have created inspection plans per a material or group of materials and would like to provide a relevant picture(s) that can be viewed when the inspector is recording results on the inspection lot. We have looked at attaching pictures to the material master using GOS or using the PRT and DMS document that links to an external file. Both solutions take additional clicks to bring up an externally stored document. We are wondering what other companies are doing if they have a similar requirement to display pictures during the results recording process.

    Hi,
Attaching a picture  or any document in SAP , the best way  is through  DMS only. By using this you can store the required pictures or drawings  and can call the same at any place. You may be able to attach  some attachments at PO /  Insp  method but that will lower the performance of server. If you attach so many documents then your transaction performance  will be affected. So better to store data in separate server  and  call it when needed.
