Tables in PRA

Hi,
I want to know the tables pertaining to PRA in SAP oil and gas, preferrably the name spaces / convensions.
Could somebody throw some light on this.
Regards,
Srila.

  • TCODE PRAA and inactive employees

    Hi all!
    I'm new to tcode PRAA and I'd like to know if it's possible to create vendors from inactive employees.
    For example: I have an expatriate. His original file is inactive - expatriate file active in HR - and I want to create the vendor using his original file.
    Is it possible?
    Thanks for your help!

    Hello Matthieu
    I wonder if this relates to how you have configured your leaving action for inactive employees? Please check if the flag 'Maintenance permitted after leaving' is maintain in table V_T582A, for the relevant HR infotypes 0000, 0001 and
    0017.
    Then check if you configured a leaving action for Travel relevant employees?
    You can find these under the tree menu for Person Related master data.
    When an employee leaves the company, the general process is to create an action for the master data. You can either use the standard delivered action 'Org reassignment' or create/copy your own based on the standard.
    You can do this in transaction PR05, menu point environment > personnel actions. Here you activate the radiobutton "Organizational reassignment"and press enter. Then you can create an action. You should use the action type 'leaving' (10).
    That said, I am not sure if this will extend to PRAA as I could find no specific support issues from FI-TV side whereby the same checks will then allow vendor to be created  - it seems to only be the case that bank update can occur for already created and previously active employess in which case would leave me to believe you would have to run PRAA in update mode to update having manually created the vendor in FI.

  • Best way to update a PRA file with changes to P6 schedule?

    Hello,
    I've spent some time looking at user manuals and video tutorials to try and become familiar with how to use Primavera Risk Analysis. I come from an @RISK user background so there were some concepts that were a little different between the two applications.
    One thing of particular interest to my company is how to use PRA with a constantly evolving and updating P6 project schedule? I know there are ways to import/export user defined fields to store the min/most likely/max values for each task. I also know that the risk register can be imported/exported from Excel. My concern can perhaps be demonstrated by this example (based on my current understanding of PRA and P6)
    1. Start PRA and import a copy of a P6 schedule. This is not a "live" link but rather a copy made for use with PRA.
    2. Set-up the risk register, link to project tasks. Set-up activity min/most likely/max, assign to a distribution (triangle)
    3. Run Monte Carlo simulations, review results etc.
    4. At this point I could export the min/most likely/max durations back to P6 as user defined fields and I could update the duration in P6 with the most likely. I'm not sure what would happen with risk activities that created new project activities but I assume they would import as new tasks to P6?
    After going through steps 1-4, the P6 schedule might continue to evolve further with new tasks, new dependencies, new durations, etc. At some point, I may be asked again to perform another risk analysis on the project and here is where my question comes in: Do I have to start all over and import everything into a new PRA? I know that I could get the min/max most likely from P6 user defined fields, I know I could import the risk register from Excel but are there other things that I would lose by having to start over (for example, links between risks in the risk register and the tasks in the P6 schedule?) Or... is there a way to re-use an existing PRA file and update the P6 schedule while preserving the info (like risk register, etc.)?
    Thank you for your reply

    >
    This method works but is there an easier (faster) way to update another table with new data only?
    >
    Almost anything would be better than that slow-by-slow loop processing.
    You don't need a procedure you should just use MERGE for that. See the examples in the MERGE section of the SQL Language doc
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28286/statements_9016.htm
    MERGE INTO bonuses D
       USING (SELECT employee_id, salary, department_id FROM employees
       WHERE department_id = 80) S
       ON (D.employee_id = S.employee_id)
       WHEN MATCHED THEN UPDATE SET D.bonus = D.bonus + S.salary*.01
         DELETE WHERE (S.salary > 8000)
       WHEN NOT MATCHED THEN INSERT (D.employee_id, D.bonus)
         VALUES (S.employee_id, S.salary*.01)
         WHERE (S.salary <= 8000);

    The Name of the form is ARXSUPST.fmb
    I need to add a Collector Name Column in the Form..so that it retrieves all the Transaction for that collector.
    The Datablock name is SUPST_BLK and Canvas is SUPST_CONT

    for that you need to download the form from oracle apps n you will have to check the properties at BLOCK Level.
    Hope this answers your question

  • Populating the email address (SMTP_ADDR) in Vendor Master using PRAA

    Hi, experts!
    We would like to start using transaction PRAA (program RPRAPA00) to create and update Vendor Master Data based on HR employee data.  As part of this process, we would like to populate the "E-Mail" field with data from infotype 105.  (We have a separate infotype 105 subtype that stores the email address in the USRID_LONG field.)  I added the INFOTYPES: 0105 data declaration via an enhancement spot in RPRAPADE_ALV, so the GET PERNR brings in the appropriate p0105 data.... I just don't know how to push that into the appropriate field in the vendor master.
    I am trying to find the structure within the RPRAPA00 program that contains the email address field SMTP_ADDR, but can't seem to find it.  When a Vendor is created, it looks like this field gets stored in the ADR6 table, but I don't really understand how the ADDRNUMBER field in the ADR6 table gets linked back to the vendor number (LIFNR).
    I looked at the BADI BADI_EXITS_RPRAPA00, but none of the defined Methods have an email address field.
    How do I update the email address field in the vendor master using PRAA?
    Thanks in advance for any advice you can give!
    - Steve

    Did you figure this out?  I'm trying to do the same thing.
    see PRAA user exit to update vendor email address
    A couple of things I found are:
    - there are 2 email address on the vendor
      - Comunication section - SZA1_D0100-SMTP_ADDR
      - Correspondence section - BLFB1-INTAD
    - apparently it is some kind of standard to use the correspondence section email address to send emails via F110
    - you have access to BLFB1 in RPRAPAFO_ALV
    - using the modification assistant I was able to populate BLFB1-INTAD
    - like you I thought the vendor email address's were stored in ADR6 but I tried going in to XK02 and added a couple of bogus email address's to a vendor and then went into ADR6 looking for them.  I could not find them.   Correction - I took another look in ADR6 and I did see the test email address.
    Buy reading some other threads they imply that this can be done via a user exit but like you I can't seem to be able to see how.

  • PRAA - Personnel numbers with already existing Vendor master record

    Hi gurus,
    We are using tcode PRAA to create vendor master, we notice some employees did not get converted to FK02 with the message "Personnel numbers with already existing Vendor master record". I checked FK02/FK03, but i didn't see any employee/vendor code there, I also checked vendor table, it is not there. why the system prompts me personnel numbers exist?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    Just go to the table LFB1 and put in the field PERNR that you are trying to create.
    If is created just put the transaction on modify instead of create.(if you want to change).
    And is better to see the vendor in tansaction XK03.

  • PRAA - no batch input created

    Hello Experts,
    In ECC6.0 - transaction PRAA - we see the following error message "batch input session not created, message number 56_CORE016". This is only in our live system. In the test system, everything works correctly. So the vendor is created when the batch input session is executed. No problem.
    Some more information: ,we also get the message data entry is missing in table V_T702N_A with argument 06.
    Please can somebody help?
    Thanks a lot.
    Isabel

    Hello,
    We've found the solution: in ECC6.0 the transaction can not be executed online, but execute it in background and everything works fine.
    Kind regards,
    Isabel

  • Bug in PL/SQL - Does not update Table if table name & variable name same in

    Dear All,
    If tabale name & vairable name is same in a Stored Procedure, UPDATE to table does not take place.
    For example run following 2 procedures. First procedure does the insert properly to table but second procedure does not update the table.
    create or replace procedure BugDemo1
    as
    LAST_NAME VARCHAR2(30);
    FIRST_NAME VARCHAR2(30);
    Begin
    LAST_NAME := 'Prasad';
    FIRST_NAME := 'Raghnandan';
    Insert into com_people (id,Roles, LAST_NAME, FIRST_NAME) values (77777,'Patient', LAST_NAME, FIRST_NAME);
    end;
    create or replace procedure BugDemo2
    as
    LAST_NAME VARCHAR2(30);
    FIRST_NAME VARCHAR2(30);
    Begin
    LAST_NAME := 'Pra';
    FIRST_NAME := 'Raghu';
    Update com_people set
    LAST_NAME = LAST_NAME,
    FIRST_NAME = FIRST_NAME
    where id = 77777 ;
    end;
    ------------------------------------------

    Hi,
    It is not a bug. Oracle is updating the records. Here Oracle is treating the variable name as COLUMN_NAME. Since priority is higher for a COLUMN on variable so each column is getting updated by itself resulting no change in data.
    SQL> CREATE TABLE com_people
      2  (
      3  id NUMBER (5),
      4  Roles VARCHAR2(20),
      5  LAST_NAME  VARCHAR2(20),
      6  FIRST_NAME VARCHAR2(20)
      7  )
      8  ;
    Table created
    SQL> Insert into com_people (id,Roles, LAST_NAME, FIRST_NAME) values (77777,'Patient', 'LAST_NAME', 'FIRST_NAME');
    1 row inserted
    SQL> COMMIT;
    Commit complete
    SQL>
    SQL> create or replace procedure BugDemo2
      2  as
      3  LAST_NAME VARCHAR2(20);
      4  FIRST_NAME VARCHAR2(20);
      5  Begin
      6  LAST_NAME := 'Pra';
      7  FIRST_NAME := 'Raghu';
      8
      9  Update com_people set
    10  LAST_NAME = LAST_NAME,
    11  FIRST_NAME = FIRST_NAME
    12  where id = 77777 ;
    13
    14  DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE('UPDATED ROWS ='||SQL%ROWCOUNT);
    15  end;
    16  /
    Procedure created
    SQL> set serveroutput on
    SQL> execute BugDemo2;

  • Creation  of Vendor thru tcode PRAA.

    Dear All Gurus,
    I want to create a vendor for the Integration of FI - TRM. and i know the tcode for creating a Vendor as well Tcode PRAA.
    I want to know what are the inputs to be given for creation of Vendor.
    I also want to know that how assignment to done by it.
    Waiting for reply.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Prashant.

    If in Travel Expenses you need to reimburse employees through FI-AP, they should be also created as vendors.
    For that employees should have data in info type 6 (Address), 0009 (Bank details), 0001 & 0002, the data should be mandatory for these infotypes.
    When running the T code PRAA, mention the reference vendor and this reference vendor shoulld have all details. And check whether you created the number ranges for the vendor. After converting the employee as vendor, check in the table LFB1. If data exists in that table your employee is converted as a vendor.
    Also make sure that for this vendor category (usually employees are special account group) you have the LFB1-PERNR field as a mandatry input.

  • PRA Indexes

    I need documentation on SAP’s recommendation for PRA table index set up – what tables and what the index should look like.  If that does not exist from SAP, does anyone have suggestions?

    Hi Paulo,
    There will not be any switch that you can see, it is based on the scope of the configuration you determine which interval number range you need to configure for Revenue, for example, if the scope of the project is to include production module and have the number range for revenue defined to integrate, then choose revenue accounting integration turned on and vice versa.

  • What Tables to Back up for Hyperion Planning

    Hi Gurus,
    I need to backup the Hyperion Planning application database tables. I'm not sure what tables I should backup. Could anybody share the table names or some docs which could help me.
    Thanks
    -Rahul

    Hi Rahul,
    U have to take the schema backup of planning application instead of planning tables.
    Hyperion 9.3.1 - 78 tables created in back end
    Hyperion 11.1.1.1 - 83 tables created in back end
    Taking Schema backup:
    Using the export dump utility, export the dump file from Oracle
              c:\expdp hypapp/hypapp@hyperion dumpfile=pra.dmp
    Note: the above dump file stored in the below mentioned location
                   Oracle 10g : G:\oracle\product\10.2.0\admin\orcl\dpdump\pra.dmp
                   Oracle 11g : E:\app\Administrator\admin\hyperion\dpdump\pra.dmp
    Please get back to me in case of queries.
    Thanks,
    PC
