Target position error

Hello,
I have some problem using an analog feedback PID to control a servo axis, both in MAX and in LabVIEW environment, on 7344 controller. The actual steady state axis position is at least 15-20% less than the target position. I have changed PID control loop parameters, but 15-20% difference is the best result. Do you have any idea how can this problem be resolved?
Thanks.

    Help!
    I am using JRun3.1 and developing a web interface to a database. In this particular screen, I am using CachedRowSet (I downloaded this and added it to jrun classpath). I am getting "Invalid cursor position" error.
    I feel there is a problem with the usebean tag.

  • Invalid Cursor Position Error on Windows XP using CachedRowSet

    Hello, I don't know if this question lies here, but I thought it would be the well suited place so please pardon me if it isn't. I am trying to access multiple pages from my database on my XP machine but I am getting an "invalid cursor position" error when trying to access the next page. I don't know how this error is coming about because it works well on a Vista machine with no errors. I don't know if it is my drivers or something that brings about the problem. I am using mysql connecter 5.1.10, JRE 1.6.0_02 and windows XP SP2
    Below is a simple code that brings the error.
    package Admin; import javax.sql.rowset.CachedRowSet; import com.sun.rowset.CachedRowSetImpl; public class test { public void table() { try { CachedRowSet crs=new CachedRowSetImpl(); crs.setUrl("jdbc:mysql://host:3306/database");         crs.setUsername("User");         crs.setPassword("password"); crs.setCommand("select * from myTable"); int[] keys = {1}; crs.setKeyColumns(keys); crs.execute(); crs.last(); if(crs.getRow()>500){ //new overLimit(); } crs.setPageSize(3); crs.execute(); while (crs.next()) { System.out.print("page one----"); System.out.println(crs.getString(1)); } while(crs.nextPage()){ System.out.println("page two---"); while (crs.next()) { System.out.println("in page two"); System.out.println(crs.getString(1)); } } } catch (Exception e) { e.printStackTrace(); } } public static void main(String []args){ new test().table(); } }

    Yes I am running the same code on both machines. The output I get on the XP machine is shown below. I modified the code I posted earlier and replaced the "page two" text with "page (then page number)" and also omitted the "in page two" text for better readability---------PAGE 0---------

  • You are not authorized to logon to the target system (error code 1)

    Dear Expert,
    I met some problems that 'You are not authorized to logon to the target system (error code 1)' when I tried to do the auth. testing for RFC SM_CLNT<SID>_TRUSTED in satellite system.
    Following SAP note 128447, I recreated the RFCs in SMSY in solution manager for satellite system using existing user.
    It was still error ''You are not authorized to logon to the target system (error code 1)'.
    In SMSY in solman, I checked the RFCs connection which I recreated using RFC wizard, they are ok(green).
    I have already maintain the auth. obj S_RFCACL for user who is running this.
    So, I am confused what authorization I did not maintain in user? Please help me out!
    Thanks a lot!

    Hello Lucy,
    The error is pretty clear that the calling system is not a trusted system so I don't think you should bother with an authorization trace at this time, because authorizations is not quite the issue. The calling system is NOT a trusted system, authorizations or not.
    Please refer to SAP Note 128447 Trusted/Trusting systems
    The error is listed there:
    Authorization errors that occur when using an RFC destination for which
    the 'Trusted Systems' indicator is set are documented with the following
    message:
    "No authorization to log on as a trusted system (Trusted RC = #)."
    In this case, the trusted return code # (# = 0, 1, 2, 3) has the
    following relevance:
    1   The calling system is not a trusted system, or the
         security key for the system is invalid.
         Solution: Recreate the trusted system (see
         documentation).
    These are the links the Note provides for the documentation:
    [http://help.sap.com
    /saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/22/042671488911d189490000e829fbbd/frameset.htm
    ] in accordance with the documentation
    [http://help.sap.com/
    saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/8b/0010519daef443ab06d38d7ade26f4/content.htm].
    The Note states to recreate the Trusted system according to the Documentation (links above)
    This is all in the Note. Please follow the Note to reslve this known error.

  • "Not enough memory in target location" error in de...

    When I try to download and "save to device" any files from any website of any size, I am receiving the "Not enough memory in target location" error. It's very frustrating . To reproduce I only need to do a "long tap" on the google image on the default google page and select "save image as" and select any location (eg. documents, root (MyDocs), create new folder) and I get the error. Once the error is displayed, most of the time I can't get rid of it and need to do an "End current task" to close the browser.
    I have checked the output of a "df -h" and there is PLENTY of space on all volumes, including rootfs (95.1M Free) and /dev/mmcblk0p1 (25.9G Free!).
    I've tried flushing the '/home/user/.mozilla/microb' directory and deleting the '/home/user/.browser' file also.
    I can transfer files from my PC connected in Mass Storage mode with no problem, I can also create directories and files from X-Term also with no problem.
    The only information I can find on this error is related to rootfs being out of space when trying to install an app or update...but this is not my problem.
    I have a feeling it could be a permissions issue, anyone have any suggestions?

    Hi cpitchford. I have a similar problem. I can't save a bookmarks in the MicroB explorer. The system says "Not enough memory". I read your post and send you the screenshot for the xterm. Thank you for your time. Let me know if you need more informartion about the issue

  • You are not authorized to logon to the target system error code1(in SM58)

    Hi Basis Gurus,
    In my test system Idocs are in error status.
    When I check tRFC monitering in SM58, there are several Idocs are strucked.
    Status Text: You are not authorized to logon to the target system  (error code 1).
    Recently we have refreshed our test system with production data.
    Before system refresh it was normal.
    The RFC connection is also working fine.
    Please suggest the solution as I'm struck in this issue.
    I'm a Basis Guy.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ravi.

    Hi,
    Change the RFC user password in target system however there are 2 tests to analyse from SM59 :
    1) RFC Connection test
    2) Authorization Test
    And i guess you have only tested the 1st one from the RFC(SM59) check whether you can succeed with option 2 if not then you may need to change the password.
    Thanks,
    Salim

  • Position error

    I am having encoder position issues.
    I am using 3 Kollmorgen servos attached to 3 AKD Ethercat drives. I have a cRio running as the Ecat master. All of my Vis are running in scan mode on the cRio.
     I am building a capstan pulling system that will have a constantly changing velocity based upon position within a 3 meter repeating cycle. I change the velocity based upon sensor input every mm of the cycle and then start the 3 meter cycle over. The velocity various from 1 RVS to 10RVS.  I use the encoder position to determine my position within a cycle. The system runs great for around 5 minutes and then my encoder goes crazy. Even when I stop the servo the encoder continues to increase. In the help for the “Reset Position” command I noticed that encoder values higher than 2^52 can be unstable. Does this apply to user units or RAW encoder pulses?
      I have tried the following methods to try and fix the problem.
    Test and verified that the issue occurs in the Axis test panel.
    I just set a long move at a given speed. After a time the position error goes crazy as in 4.0 e +12 and the position continues to increase after the servo stops.
    I removed my units and used just encoder pulses and again after a few minutes the same thing occurred.
    Changed my VI so that after each 3 meter cycle the encoder was reset to zero. Again after roughly the same amount of time the issue occurred.
    One strange thing is that I can still control the servo accurately. If I tell it to go 100mm it goes 100mm, but once there I cannot read the position because it returns a very large and inaccurate number.
    A further observation is that I can recover by resetting the cRio. This makes me think that the encoder number is exceeding some register U32 or U64. If that were the case I would have thought that resetting it after each cycle would have fixed it. Unless when you reset the position you are just setting an offset that is subtracted for the actual encoder from that point forward.
     I am sure that I have confused you all but any and all help is greatly appreciated.
    Perpetual LabView noob…..
    Jeff Lee

    Hi Jeff,
    I have a few questions for you to help me get a better understanding of the issue:
    - What version of LabVIEW software is your application written in (2010? 2011 SP1?, 2012? etc)?
    - Have you tried swapping your motor with a different one?  Or your Drive?  Did you still observe the same behavior?  If possible, I think this would be a useful test to help narrow down the issue.
    - What does your motion system look like at a high level (What components are involved and how are they connected to eachother)?  Does the encoder feedback connect back to the drive or back to your cRIO controller?

  • "Column Width should be positive" error

    I have a flash chart that has a fairly simple query (whic works fine when run via SQLPLUS etc), that when I run via Apex I get "Column Width should be positive" errors. What does this mean, and how do I debug it?

    I realise that I have to have a chart query to generate the chart. The query (see below) runs perfectly fine in SQLPLUS, TOAD, SQL Developer etc, with no negative values returned.
    select null, to_char(targcompdate , 'RRRR-IW'), count(*)
    from work_tab
    where worktype = 'RO'
    and integ_priority in ('2','3','4')
    and comp_person = 'Structural'
    and targcompdate >= sysdate
    and status = 'APPR'
    group by to_char(targcompdate , 'RRRR-IW')
    order by to_char(targcompdate , 'RRRR-IW')

  • Model Creation Error:Not authorized to logon to target system(error code 1)

    Hello All,
    I am trying to create a new model in my WebDynpro project.
    I have used "Single Server" to login to the backend.
    But when I try to connect to the backend system I get the following error:
    "Login Failed: You are not authorized to logon to the target system (error code 1)"
    I have an "SAP_ALL" role in the backend. Any idea what could be wrong?
    Thanks and Regards,

    Hello Reena,
      The user name or passwd that you specified is not correct. Try by giving the user name in Capital letter; if still its not working take advice from Basis person and get the right to use it.

  • You are not authorized to logon to the target system (error code 0).

    I am facing the dollowing error with the TRUSTED RFC :
    You are not authorized to logon to the target system (error code 0).
    The connection is from Solution Manager to Managed System. The user set to the RFC has SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW profile and neverthless there is a connection error.
    I have already delele all of RFCs related to managed system .
    Any clue guys?

    RE

    Hi,
    In case you selected the option current user for the RFC logon, please ensure that the user (the one you're using ) is available in both systems and also that the authorizations S_RFC and S_RFCACL are assigned on both systems.
    If you're using a user just for the trusted RFC, please check if this user exist in both systems and have the mentioned authorizations.
    kind regards,

    Let me add more information. The web service is provided online from the application and I didn't make a local copy or modify it.
    I tested the web service using SOAP UI and worked like a charm.
    I made another test just now by only creating Soap service to use the WSDL and allow the external invocation. Then I call the ESB wsdl (soap service WSDL) from SOAP UI and got the following error. It seems to me, ESB incorrectly format the soap request to Jive or the ESB has problem handling the request from SoapUI.

    2- URL Target: http://www.google.nl/ -- Works
    What is wrong(see number 1)?
    Thanks at advance.

    RMAN-03009: failure of backup command on aux14 channel at 11/19/2009 13:47:23
    ORA-19504: failed to create file "+DATA2"
    Here’s my script:
    connect target sys/<password>@node1;
    connect auxiliary sys/<password>@node2;
    spool log to '/u01/app/oracle/dba/duplicate111909.log'
    run
    allocate auxiliary channel aux11 device type disk;
    allocate auxiliary channel aux12 device type disk;
    allocate channel aux13 device type disk;
    allocate channel aux14 device type disk;
    duplicate target database to node2 from active database DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT='+DATA1','+DATA2';
    release channel aux14;
    release channel aux13;
    release channel aux12;
    release channel aux11;
    spool log off;
    exit;
    Node1 uses ASM disk group DATA1 and I intend to use ASM disk group DATA2 on node2. Has anyone seen this error before? I have tried various permutations of DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT clauses but all error with ORA-19504. On a side note I was able to use ASMCMD cp command to copy a datafile from node1 DATA1 to node 2 DATA2. Also, if I use disk group DATA1 on node 2 then the RMAN duplicate command runs successfully, it only errors when using DATA2. And yes +DATA2 is mounted on node2:
    SQL> select name, state from v$asm_diskgroup;
    NAME STATE
    DATA1 MOUNTED
    DATA2 MOUNTED
    Any and all ideas are welcome. I’m running out of things to check.
    Thanks,
    RJL

    For a duplicate you don't need to give the DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT especially if you go from a asm to asm diskgroup.
    The place where it'll put all the files will be automatically done taking care of the init.ora file parameter db_create_file_dest, (db_create_online_log_dest_1)
