why I am getting this warning:
<RegionRenderer> <encodeAll> The region component with id: r1:0:r9 has detected a page fragment with multiple root components. Fragments with more than one root component may not display correctly in a region and may have a negative impact on performance. It is recommended that you restructure the page fragment to have a single root component.
Hi.
The solution is straightforward. To eliminate the warning, you must restructure some of your fragments. You shouldn't have more than one component at the top level. Here is an sample fragment that makes the warning appear.

</ui:composition>As you can see, both <tt>af:outputText</tt> and <tt>panelGroupLayout</tt> are at the top level.
The solution, here, would be to move the <tt>af:outputText</tt> inside the <tt>panelGroupLayout</tt>.

Warning after creating Human Task Flow in ADF project
I'm using JDev 11g and have created my SOA Composite containing a Human Task. After I generated the Task flow based on Human Task in my non-soa application, I get the following warnings which are preventing my application from building and deploying to the admin server. I have followed the instructions in the Developer's Guide for Implementing an ADF Task Flow for a Human Task.

i have deployed and extended a adf task flow in webcenter spaces.I have a parameter added to the task flow.Whenever i am adding the parameter to tha task flow i get the following error

You give far to little detail about the scenario.
Is it an OOTB taskflow that you extended. If so, which one and what parameter did you add + how did you do it.
How did you deploy to spaces
There are a lot of steps in that process that can go wrong so don't expect us to come up with an answer based upon this basic information. -
ExecuteWithParams in adf Task flow is not executing
Hi,
I have a generic page fragment(Task Flow) which accepts a parameter from the calling page, when I use it as a Region.
Based on the value of the parameter passed I have to filter the table data or I have to execute a ViewObject .
For that I used a bind variable in the View Object.
And I dragged the ExecuteWithParams from DataControl to the Fragment defenition(TaskFlow).

Dears,
i am using Captcha Code, make new Task flow and fragment to be deployed on webcenter spaces, the code working correctly when am using in JDeveloper and make Run from JDeveloper, but when i deploy it on webcenter spaces and call this Task Flow from webcenter spaces the image not appear(The image using Servlet).
i am download the Captcha JAR from Oracle : http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/adf/learnmore/index-101235.html , Download Captcha an using it as Task Flow to deploy it on webcenter spaces, but as i told you when i Run this code from JDeveloper working correctly, but the problem when i deploy it on webcenter spaces the Servlet code with image not appear.

Do you see any error or warning messages in hte server log?
I don't think it's a adf or jdev problem as it runs OK using jdev. I more assume a configuration problem with webcenter spaces.

Can't create an ExecuteWithParams activity in a bounded task flow
I'm trying to replicate the application in the demo, Passing Parameters to a TaskFlow on the URL - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cklxe1qq5I
I created a ViewObject named PagerByLastName which has an iterator with the generated name, PagerByLastName1Iterator
(in Data Controls, a node is created for PagerByLastName , named PagerByLastName1
PagerByLastName1 has query with a parameter and binding variable for the parameter.
Next, I created a bound task flow and tried to drop an ExecuteWithParams from within PagerByLastName1 onto the bounded task flow.
However, in the Edit Action Binding dialog that opens, the Data Collection section is read-only and I'm unable to select a data collection to create
the ExecuteWithParams activity.
A warning message appears as I try to drop ExecuteWithParams -
"WARNING: IteratorNameNotFound--AppModuleDataControl1.PagerByLastName1"
However, the iterator name should be PagerByLastName1Iterator
Known issue? Is there any workaround?

ADF BC alwyas has a transaction opened even if the ADFc setting is No Transaction. So if you explicitly ask for a new transaction I assume that the ADF BC data control creates a new transaction without re-executing your AM initialization codes. Looks as if it uses an internal AM instance for this just to hold the transaction. However, worth filing this as a bug - assuming you reproduced this with a later version of either JDeveloper 11g R1 or R2

Can I reference page-flow bean from a bounded-task-flow page-fragment?
I have a view activity implemented as page fragment in my bounded task flow.
I declare a page-flow scope managed-bean in adfc-config.xml to do some initialization for the bounded-task-flow:

On further debugging, I noticed the bean was not created when it is set to be page-flow scope. I put a debug message in the constructor... never get called.
When should a page-flow scope bean be created to be accessible on entry to a bounded task flow?

pageFlowScope is only available for the pages/views in that taskflow and not in the included taskflows. -

When I use the EL expression in my jsf fragments like #{bundle['key']} I have no error or warning messages, but when I use it in a train stop label in a Task Flow with train I have the following error and warning messages:
Error: EL token "bundle" is unknown
Warning: Reference "bundle" not found
The labels are correctly shown at runtime, but this error make me unconfortable during the developing because I cannot know immediately if a "real" error is present.

I know that it works fine at runtime but is a bit frustrating to see that big red cross on the task flow views even though the code is correct. That's all.

Although I don't remember where, I think I read or heard about the task-flow input parameter class value that it is "being ignored by the framework".
One example of this could be what is currently in the UI Shell sample application available

It has in its task-flow in "flows\second.xml" an input parameter configured like

Hi all,
I created 2 views (unbounded task flows)in which i used one view as my Jspx page which i already created and for another view i created new jspx page.
whem i run this application and click on button for which i used task flow it is not navigating to another page.
On views which i used it is showing a warning called Custamization id is not defined for an element:"page".

accessing action like ExecuteWithParams in java methodWhen you run the application, make sure you are running the task flow view activity, and not the JSPX page directly. The easiest way to check if you are is to look at the URL you're using. If the URL has a ".jspx" in it, you're doing it wrong - try removing the ".jspx"

Changing OSM task state/status from another parallel task flow
Hi, guys!
I have a problem with implementing parallel task flow. Let's consider such situation: there are two parallel task flows, the first flow contain manual task, upon completion which I need to change second flow's task state/status and vice-versa. I studied XMLAPI functions, wsapi operations, api from automation package but couldn't find appropriate aproach.

I tried to implement 2 automation task, which contain automation plugins. First task implemented xquery sender as completed event, the second task implemented xquery reciever, which changes status to success, but this approach isn't working.
All properties of automation plugins configured properly, but I always receive next exceptions:

I suggest that it is not correct approach, because of automation context restored from DB is related to other task.
Have any ideas of changing task status from OSM DB directly. This approach is temporary, for compatibility with performing manual tasks in 2 systems: OSM and other

Problem in deploying a task flow

I have a strange problem. I have a bounded task flow that runs in a popup. Everything works just fine. (I followed the [Embedding Regions inside PopUp Windows|http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/adf/patterns/11.1.1.1.0/popupregionpattern.pdf] functional pattern to implement it.)
The purpose of the popup is to run a report on BI publisher via a webservice call. I have a bean on the pageFlowScope that executes the webservice call. The call is triggered by an <tt><af:fileDownloadActionListener></tt> that is placed inside an <tt><af:commandButton></tt>. The <tt>method</tt> attribute of the <tt><af:fileDownloadActionListener></tt> is bound to a method in that bean. The method is fairly simple:

Could not open key....itunes fails to install
