Tax Percentage varience while caluculating FB01 and FBB1

Dear team,
While making postings through FB01 and FBB1 the tax is calculating with two different percentages for the same tax code i.e ZF.
The tax code ZF (VAT)we are using it for both.System is calculating tax code 19% tax is deducting while doing Fb01 and 5% is deducting on FBB1.
Kindly let me know why system is calculating this variance for the same TAX code.
Thanks for the cosideation.

  • Tax percentage and gross amount

We have a requirement (South Africa) where we have the gross amount (final selling price) and tax percentage.  The net amount and tax amount has to be back calculated from the gross amount.
    For example:
    Gross price = 100 ZAR
    Tax % = 15%
Therefore, the pricing should be as below:
    Net amount = 86.96 ZAR
    Tax amount = 13.04 ZAR
    Gross amount = 100 ZAR
What is the best approach to handle this pricing scenario in SAP?
Is there is an option in standard SAP that can do the net amount calculation based on gross amount and tax percentage?
Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Update decimal places in sales and use tax percentage rate [FTXP]

i need to update the decimal places in the tax percentage rate.  i've gone through all of the tax configuration in the img several times and it is not there.  have searched the internet for an answer to this, and am not finding it. need to update from four digits to the right of the decimal to five digits to the right of the decimal point.
for example, adjusting a tax rate field of 5.1234 to 5.12345, where the field will allow 5 digits.

    Hi,
SAP has hardcoded in the program MF82TI00 to pick only the three places after decimal. Rest will be ignored.
In case this is your legal requirement, I will suggest to rather create an OSS message with SAP.

  • Reg: tax code and tax percentage

    hi all,
i have tax code, from that how can i get the tax percentage
is there any table which maintain both tax code and tax %
    thanks
    suresh

    Hi,
For calculating Tax you need to look into KONV table.
Based on the pricing conditions you need to calculate the Tax percentage.
you can just go the particular transaction for which you want to calculate the tax and there you
can find the prricing conditions declared under the tax based on which you will calculate the tax.

  • Tax Jurisdiction Error While Doing ABZON -AssetTransaction

    Hi,
While implementing the SAP,we have defined the Tax Jurisdiction Codes with 9 digits. After that client requested to change the Tax Jurisdiction Code to 10 digits and we removed 9 digits and Created Tax Jurisdiction with 10 digits and moved to Production System.
Now the Issue is- While doing the asset transaction in ABZON transaction code,System is giving the below error messange Tax Code I0 does not exist for jurisdiction code LA0000000.Kindly help me how to solve this issue.
Error Message is - Message no.FF718
NOTE:- In the above issue it is giving the error with 9 Digits Tax Jurisdiction code LA0000000 which does not exists in the system.
My Doubt is - Why the system is not picking the 10 digits Tax Jurisdiction Code? *Why it is taking 9 digits tax jurisdiction code even though it was deleted from the system?
Kindly advice me how to fix this Issue?
    Thanks
    Supriya

    Hi,
Thanks for your quick response.I have checked in the FTXP and found that there is no Tax Jurisdiction codes with 9 digits.
I have a doubt -why this error came- Initially we have created Tax codes with 9 digits Tax Jurisdiction Codes. After that we did not do any changes to the Tax codes which are already created & then Deleted all 9 Digits Tax Jurisdiction codes to create 10 Digits Tax Jurisdiction codes. Finally we created 10 digits tax jurisdiction codes and used the Old tax codes which are already created at that time of 9 digits Tax Jurisdiction Code.
Kindly think of my doubt i raised above and suggest me weather that could be the reason for the error?
    Thanks

  • Change of Tax Percentage in Existing Billing documents

    Hi,
we have created 100's of billing documents with 11% to customers. Later we realized that we should charge them 0% instead of 11%. we have even released them to accounting however we did not receive the payment yet. I made changes so that any billing docs created from today will have 0% percent but my client wants to re-issue all the previous invoices to customers with 0%. I have not worked on any of these but i have few thoughts
    1) Reverse the Accounting Document and Billing document and update the condition type to 0% and re-issue the billing document
    2) There is something called Invoice correction document which issues something like credit or debit memo for the changes in Billing document.
    3) create a utility program to mass change all the billing documents.
    4) I am not sure about this but how about issuing a credit note and then re-issue the invoice but not sure how to re-issue with the modifications in Tax Percentage
Could you please throw some expert opinions on the above or any other options of consider. Also please advise on configuration settings for any needed.
Since I have not worked on any of the four, I could not recommend my client about this but needed opinion before actually recommending.

    Hi,
What you said is right with respect to retrospective billiing.
In case of credit note, you are not issuing your invoice again. You are just releasing a credit note with respect to the issued invoice. Hence a reference is maintained between these two. This is the best way to follow.

  • How to manual maintain TAX condition value while creating sales order

    Hi
I am creating one Tax condition suppose JLST without access sequence .
while creating sales order I am manually maintain the % value of TAX. suppose it is 1%
then I see It show some value in TAX .
save that sales order & creating delivery document for that but when I create Invoice its show error.
" Tax code  in procedure CMTAXP is invalid ".
I know the configuration only for Tax condition with vk11 condition record .
BUT now I want to maintain TAX condition at the time of creating sales order.
so I remove the access sequence of that condition .
but It shows tax code error while billing.
My main question is that If i maintain condition record while creating sales order then how i can assign Tax code .
    Can it is possible ?
    if yes then How?
    please help me.
    thank you

    Hi,
The "straight-forward" answer for Tax Code creation is contact the FI consultant. He shall help you, by creating Tax codes.
I have tested, with creating a tax cond type (copy of MWST) & manually entering values. I can create Sorder, Dlv and Bill but I cannot create an Accounting document. That is because of every line (amount) a Tax code is necessary.
I THINK, you can NOT have manually filled tax codes; access sequence is needed to get the tax value (%) and the Tax code from the condition record.
There is lot of material on the web to understand Tax classification, code etc. etc. See a useful link below -
    http://www.sapgeek.net/2010/04/sd-determines-tax-code/
In short Tax code is a must and take the help of your FI consultant for the configuration of the same.
BTW - Tax code is already made created for MWST, therefore I suggested that you can use MWST. Furthermore, you can change the values corresponding to Tax codes in FTXP.
But if you are a beginner in these things, better take help.

  • Difference between tax amount shown on VAT report and the invoice

    Dear Friends,
We observe that there is a difference of rounding off between the tax amount shown in the invoice and the one shown in the VAT report.
We have to manually adjust this tax amount since the Tax authorities do not accept any difference in the VAT report and the Invoice.
Please advise as what could be done to solve this issue.
    Rgds,
    Kunal Vichare.

    Hi Satya,
There are 2 things: Pricing Procedure and Tax Procedure.
Pricing Procedure tell system about the what and how the price to calculated for material in PO. In this pricing procedure the conditions NAVS / NAVM as pertainin to tax applicable on the PO price. These conditon display the tax. The tax is calculated based on tax procedure. Tax procedure acts as a master and there is one tax procedure for one country. For this tax procedure there are tax codes defined. Tax codes means using the same tax procedure but changing value of various conditions and omiting some if required.
Eg. TAXINN is tax procedure for India. Based in this procedure many tax codes are defined for 12% vat, 6% vat , no vat etc.
So what kind of tax will be applicable on the PO is governed by tax code which is mentioned in Invoice tab (tax code) its a 2 character code.
Based on this tax code taxes are calculated on PO net value and then the tax amount is displayed in pricing procedure by conditions NAVS / NAVM.
MWST is condition for Input tax. If you are using tax code then MWST is not to be used.
Tax code becomes useful while doing MIRO as there is an option of inserting tax code. So the tax on PO net value will be calculated automatically.

    hi
    In that
you mainatain tax rate  as per tax  codes( you use one dummy tax  and the one you use) then where  evr you use that tax code rates will be copied irespective of material and vendor.
    eg
    you enter
    T1               16       V0(dummy code)

  • Tax Percentage NOT Refresh for MWST Condition when Tax Code Change

    Hi All,
I have maintained MWST condition on Purchase Order with a default value P1 (10%).
During data entry, when I attempted to overwrite the tax code to P0 (0%), under Condition tab the tax percentage still showing 10% instead of refresh the rate according to the tax code.
Is this a config error or system behaviour? Are there any SAP Note that I can apply to fix the problem?
Applied SAP Note 655335 - ME22 ME22n tax at service level - Doesn't seem to fix the problem.
