Taxes in billing document tab in sales area data in customer master record.

Hi Gurus,
I have a problem here. There is no country IN in the taxes in billing doc tab in sales area data. What is the settings for getting the same in customer master record?
Please guide.
Edited by: Chetan Barokar on Mar 17, 2008 3:56 PM

Hi Chetan,
           Go to the transaction XD02 then enter your Customer Number which is giving problem then go to the Sales Area Data-->Billing Documents Tab,there you check whether you have entered the tax detailes or not,
If not entered , enter the tax detailes.
-->If the tax detailes not coming in the Customer master >Sales Area data> Billing Documents tab
-->Also check the settings related to between Country (IN) and Tax Condition type (Tax Category) in the transaction OVK1
-->If the Tax condition type not assigned to the country IN assign the tax type to the country IN in the transaction OVK1.
-->Check OVK3 transaction also.
I hope it will help you

Murali.

  • Automatic creation of Company Code and Sales Area Data for Customer Master

    Hi,
    We have a organisation structure setup with multiple company codes and sales areas.
    A customer will be created using VD01 via the Sales Order VA01. Because the customers are created using VD01 we need to automatically extend the customer for the various company codes and sales areas. The data on these views will be populated using reference customers.
    Any recommendations on the best approach (technically) to auto extend the customer master would be appreciated.
    I'm reluctant to use BDC's because of performance. We are in a Retail environment.
    Thanks in advance
    Craig

    The sample code has been taken from the SAP notes - in which have the affected as outlined in the example.
    The codes does not do what my requirements are, which is to identify the next available number in isolation of the BP type.

  • Making a field mandatory in additional data tab in sales area data in XD01/XD02

    Hi,
    Making fields in additional data tab in sales area data in XD01/XD02 as mandatory is not achievable through configuration. Also, user exit SAPMF02D was not helpful in achieving this. Kindly help me on this.

    Is this a new field you are creating or an existing field you want to mark as mandatory? My impression from your original post was that it was the second. If so then you don't need to create an implementation of CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA as there must already be one, instead you should be looking for the implementation that manages data for the screen you are interested in. This might be why you don't see your BADI get activated  when you go to  "area data -> extras -> additional data" as it isn't the right implementation.
    If you just want the field to be mandatory when the user goes into the additional data tab I would code this in the screen of the customer exit. If you want this field to be mandatory whether or not they enter other additional data then you should try the method of the badi Nabheet suggested but not in your own implementation.

  • How to Copy Sales Text Data from Customer Master to Sales Order.

    Hi SAP Guru's
    I have Completed Configuration for Central Text for Customer Master for two texts 1)Additional Attachments 2) Wooden Packing
    I got these two fields in Customer Master.
    I need these data to be copied from  Customer Master to sales order. But i am unable get these two in to sales order.
    Steps which  I have done for Text Determination.
    1) Text Id in for Text Object KNA1
    2)Placed Text Id  in Text Procedure  and assigned   this procedure to Customer Account Group.
    Could you please advice me
    Thanks in Advance.

    Text Control
    In this IMG activity, you define the rules for text determination. You must carry out the following steps:
    Select a text object and define the rules for text determination for this object. Text objects are, for example, the sales texts in the customer master record or the sales document header.
    Define the permitted text types for every text object. If the text types contained in the standard SAP R/3 System are not sufficient, create new ones.
    Define the access sequences. This way, you define how the SAP System should determine the texts for a text type.
    Group the text types together in text determination procedures. The SAP System then proposes the text types from the procedure when you maintain a customer master record or a sales & distribution document. The search for the respective text is carried out using the access sequence which you have stored for each text type in the procedure.
    Allocate the text determination procedures so that a procedure applies to the following criteria in each case:
    account group customer
    sales & distribution document type
    item category

  • Sales Order Error No customer master record exists for sold-to party

    Hi,
    I am trying to create a sales order in IDES. Unfortunately it is showing me error: No Customer master exists for sold to party. Now I have already checked my assignments, combined sales area in vor1 and vor2. Checked PDP ( In PDP I have creates partner functions as z2, z5, z6, z7). I have also checked in XD02 and XD03 and in partner function tab it shows as maintained. Please help as I am still not able to create it.

    Dear Phanikumar,
    I am not sure whether we can create a customer for a future date or not.
    I might sound absurd but suggested this solution because I had faced a similar issue while I was working on a remotly supported IDES server which I was using for practice purpose.
    Now the case was that, I had created some customers few days back, lets say on 01.03.2014 and today the administrator of the server changed the date & time of the system from 11.03.2014 to 11.03.2013 bymistake.
    Hence when i was trying to create orders for a customer created on 01.03.2014 i was not able to do so as the system was throwing an error customer does not exist.
    I am sorry if I have suggested something awkward or wrong, intention was to provide a solution.
    Please correct if I have suggested someting wrong.
    Thanks,
    Kishor

  • Clarification required on the Sales area data information.

    Hi Master's,
    As per the standard taxation practice,Tax determination depends upon the Tax liability of a Shipt to Party.
    But in a Customer master The Tax classification is maintained in the SALES AREA DATA-BILLING TAB,To my understanding
    the Billing Tab data comes from Sold to party.If so how does Billing tab convey the Tax liability of Ship to party.
    I am Confused,please let me know in terms of Customer master and Partner types:
    1) Which Tabs under the sales data  i.e Shipping Billing...come from which Partner.i.e like Sold to party.
         (Clarification required on the Sales area data information coming from which Partner functions).
    Please suggest,
    Thanks

    There is no need of any confusion here
    All the tabs and data or fields pertains sold to party only
    If for a sold to party say 1001 if he himself is going to be SH and PY and BP then there is no confusion
    If  for a sold to party say 1001 the ship to party is 1002 and PY is 1003 and bill to party is himself that is 1001
    This is what mentioned  or assigned in the partner functions of CMR of 1001 in the sales area data
    This means there are another CMR lies in the name of 1002 and 1003
    Whenever an order comes for 1001 as Sold to party for tax classifications the ship to paty 1002's master record is accessed by the system
    System accesses another record for a particular detail (tax details)
    Similarly for this customer 1001's order for payment terms 1003's CMR is accessed by the system
    System accesses another record for a particular detail ( for terms of payment)
    There is no need for any confusion and if you run this in the system with different data you will understand it much better

  • FM/BAPI to add sales area data to a BP , FM to assign relationship to BP

    Friends of CRM world,
    I need your help in finding out BAPI or FM to
    add sales area data to an existing Business Partner (BP).
    Also I need to assign a relationship to this BP.
    Please help me with info on BAPIs or Function Modules for this if you can.
    Best Regards,
    Vivek

    Hi Vivek,
        You should use separate function modules for each tab in the sales area data. Please find the following code:
    For shipping data tab of sales area data
          CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_BUPA_FRG0020_ADD'
            EXPORTING
              businesspartner = g_partner_no
              sales_area      = wa_sales_data
              data            = wa_ship_data
            TABLES
              return          = it_return.
    For billing data tab of Sales area data
          CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_BUPA_FRG0030_ADD'
            EXPORTING
              businesspartner = g_partner_no
              sales_area      = wa_sales_data
              data            = wa_price_data
            TABLES
              return          = it_return.
    Use function module BAPI_BUPA_FRG0140_ADD - For organization data tab of Sales area data
          CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_BUPA_FRG0140_ADD'
            EXPORTING
              businesspartner = g_partner_no
              sales_area      = wa_sales_data
              data            = wa_org_data
            TABLES
              return          = it_return.

  • BP Creation in Web UI - How to enable Sales Area data?

    Hello Gurus
    We are using CRM 2007 and create BPs in CRM and then have them replicate to OLTP. This works as desired if I launch Transaction BP and maintain the record.
    But in Web UI, I dont see many of the fields that are necessary for replication such as Account group for R/3 customer acct group. Nor do I see a tab for sales area data maintenance. I am logging on to Web UI with SALESPRO profile. How do I enable enter of key information in Web UI BP maintenance, so that I could see the replication from CRM to OLTP R/3.
    Please advice.
    Thanks
    Jai

    Hi Jai,
    I am glad that the answer was helpful for you.
    In the create mode just the details view is available, as this is the way the component BP_HEAD is implemented.
    To understand this please open the component workbench, component BP_HEAD. Go to the runtime repository and compare the window CorpAccountNew(this is for the create mode) with the default window named MainWindow. In the first one just a sole view is offered.
    But after you change from the create mode to edit mode (push the save button and then the edit one) you will actually see all the assignment blocks. Maybe this helps. But if you still see the need of the sales area assginment block it can easily be made available via a customer UI enhancement.
    Good luck and best regards,
    Erika

  • How to Extend Sales Area data for a BP

    Hello Experts,
    I am working on CRM 7.0 and the requirement is to add a new new field in Complaints Tab in Sales Area Data screen of Business Partner in GUI as well as WebUI.
    Question-> Can we add the new field in WebUI using AET? Does it supports extension of relevant Assignment block(Sales Area data->Complaints and Returns)? If yes then how can we add the same field in GUI after that? If not then what is the alternate solution and Can we use BDT to fulfil this requirement?
    I assumed that EEWB does not supports extension of Sales Area data for a business partner. Please let me know if I have got it wrong.
    Regards,
    Amit

    You can use AET to extend the sales area data of BP.  However, it wont add the fields automatically in GUI, But the generated fields are available in the relevant DB tables.
    BP GUI transaction is no more supported . Im not sure why you want to work on GUI.

  • Restrict the creation of customer master records at sales area level

    I know that you can supress fields at the company code and sales area level in customer master, but, is there a way in configuration to restrict the creation of a customer master record at the company code and sales area levels?  Only the general data level is needed for this customer account group.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    Hi
    Create the Customer Master without entering the Company Code and sales Area. The system will allow and ask you to fill only the General Data.
    The other way is that Create a Account Group and suppress its all Fields of Accounting View and Sales Area View, so that for that account group you will have to maitain only the General view.

  • Taxes in billing document

    Hi,
    We create billing from T  Code VF04 for third party sales orders ,we found that in some invoices there is a pricing error  the taxes are not copied from sales order to billing ,its observed that in header data of  billing document the customer tax indicator is missing after entering the same, tax is getting calculated.there is no change made in customer master as well as sales order .can any body tell why the customer indicator is not copied from Sales order to billing.
    Best Regards,
    Rohit

    In normal circumstances, this tax indicator would be copied from customer master only.  In your case, if you are sure that there was no changes made in customer master, then I feel it could have been due to some exit.  Meanwhile, you also go to condition tab and click the "Analysis" button to find out why it is happening like that.  Update the forum.

  • Single billing document for each sales order

    Hi,
    We currently have a Contract to Invoice process, wherein we created Sales Order related invoice directly.
    However i need to create a single invoice for each contract separately although they share the same characteristics, i do not want to combine the contracts into single invoice, but want a 1:1 relation as we intend to batch the billing job.
    I tried the routine 003-Single invoice at  copy control at item level, this does not seem to work.
    All suggestions are welcome.
    Thanks.

    HI
    You could try the following if you want the delivery also to be separate for each Sales Order.
    Order Combination Indicator
    Indicates whether you are allowed to combine orders during delivery processing.
    The Order combination Indicator is maintained in the customer master. Sales Area Data, Shipping Tab Page.
    Procedure
    The system proposes the indicator from the customer master record. You can change the value manually in the sales document at both header and item level.
    The other option is Maintain the field
    ZUK-VGBEL = VBRP-VGBEL.
    in the data transfer routine for the relevant item category copy control settings.
    with kind regards
    Sundar

  • Where do I find what Billing Document Type to Sales Doc Type is associated

    Good Afternoon
    Where in the configuration do I find how the Billing Document Type to Sales Document Type is mapped to each FI Document type?
    I thought I would find it under VTFA, VTFL and  VTFF
    Your help is greatly appreciated!

    Hi,
    In SD module, when you configure the flow of documents, i.e. Sales Order -> Delivery -> invoice, or Sales Order -> Invoice the rules of copying data from one document to another are defined.
    There are two fields, that are visible in FI documents to configure:
    a) the allocation number
    b) The reference number
    in both fields following values can be pass from SD to FI:
    A. Customer Purchase Order number
    B. Sales Order number
    C. Delivery number
    D. External delivery number
    E. Actual invoice number
    If those fields (ore one of them) are left blank, then no data is being passed to FI. This is situation, when you dont have any data in FI document. In such cases you should contact your SD coleague and ask to configure with respective document.
    I hope, it clarifies the situation (As far as I understood your last post).
    regards,
    wojciech

  • User Exit for XD02 in Sales area data in Sales tab

    Hi Sap Gurus,
    I have a problem . I need help .
    The requirement is
    In XD01 transaction , In Sales area data, In Sales tab i need to add a Check box which i already have added.This check box refers to KNVV table-Zflag
    In VA01 transaction , In menu goto -> header -> Sales , In Additional data B .
    I have another Check box.  This check box refers to Vbaktable-Zflag .
    <b>I need the code and exact locations where to put this to get my issue resolved which is given below in Functional Description</b>.
    Functional Description where you can understand better.
       Our custom logic will be initiated once the Sold-to Party (VBAK-KUNNR) is entered for any order type.  When the sold-to party is entered the user exit program will check table KNVV for the custom field ZFLAG that corresponds to the “Print Prices on Delivery Note” flag (hereafter referred to as the Pricing Flag) and populate the same setting of the flag into the ZFLAG that will be on the “Additional data B” tab on a sales order at the header.  The user can manually change VBAK-ZFLAG Pricing Flag setting to something different than what is populated for the customer master level.
    If the user happens to change the sold-to party for any reason then the user exit program should take the following approach when populating the ZFLAG Pricing Flag in a sales order:
    -     Recheck the ZFLAG Pricing Flag setting in the customer master for the sold-to party that the user has newly selected.
    The user will still have the option to manually ZFLAG Pricing Flag on a sales order after the user exit program defaults it.
