Team or Individual Subscription

I am the marketing guy at a small firm. I am planning on adding a Adobe Cloud subscription, however don't know if I need a Individual or Team subscription. I am the only person in our company that will have access to the program.
Also, am I able to access my subscription from home, when I am working away from the office?
Thanks

The Creative Cloud FAQ at http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/faq.html will help with some of your questions.
You are probably fine with an Individual subscription. The advantage of a Team subscription is that an Administrator handles payment and gives out paid Seats. Not so useful if it is just you. Also you get 100GB of file storage instead of 20GB.
You can activate your subscription on two machines, so one can be at home.

  • Upgrading to team pricing: are existing annual individual subscriptions credited?

We looking at how best to subscribe for FormsCentral while we undertake a pilot project.
If we have say two individual subscribers with yearly subscriptions and then upgrade to to the five-seat team pricing, will the unused credit for the two individual subscribers reduce the cost of the team pricing? Or would we need to contact you separately about this? (since the payment systems may not 'know' there are existing subscribers).
Tried to find the answer in the FAQs and discussions, but could not.
    Thanks!

    Hi, Stefan.
You can upgrade an individual subscription from "Individual" to "Team". The unused prorated portion of the Individual will be credited when upgrading to Team.
However, if you cancel the other individual (the 2nd of the two individual subscriptions) at some point in the year, you'll also receive a prorated refund for that subscription as well.
So, bottom line, any cancellation or upgrade will result in a prorated refund, so you'll aways be getting some money back.
Let us know if you have more questions.

  • Problem switching from individual subscription to team subscription

my company recently purchased a cc team subscription. previously, i had an individual subscription. i accepted the invite, and can see that the team membership appears in my account at creative.adobe.com, but now that my individual subscription has expired, i keep getting logged out of the cc app, and all apps are now trials.
i was on adobe chat earlier today & waited 20 minutes to chat with someone, who ultimately told me that it was a technical issue & to call adobe support.
my IT just had to hang up after waiting on hold for over 45 minutes with adobe support
can anyone out there from the adobe team help me please?
    thanks!

    Hi Isatony,
Can you try signing out of the Creative Cloud app and then back in again and see if the issue persists?

  • Can I purchase Adobe photoshop cc INDIVIDUAL subscription and use it for commercial purpose? Or is it meant for non-commercial usage only?

If I run a small studio with only 3 people, and purchase photoshop CC with individual subscription, can I use it for my studio? Why I ask this is because CC individual license (single app) is cheaper than a subscription for small/medium sized businesses (single app).
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi rohit.c
Yes, that's fine - there is no restriction on using an individual subscription commercially.
The small business teams plans are more expensive as you get additional storage and tools to manage license deployment.
    Kind regards

  • Company/volume/team Creative Cloud subscription details?

    Hi,
we're a company of about 50 people working in print and design, out of which we have about 10 users working with Adobe software everyday (mostly PS and AI).
We're obviously excited about the Creative Cloud, but from the IT point of view, being forced to use individual Adobe ID accounts for each user is an utter mess.
Therefore it is absolutely essential for companies like ours to know if there will be any "company-wide" or "volume" or "team" subscriptions with the ability to manage installed applications (or distribute them) in a more centralized manner.
Additionally, i hope that the per-user subscription cost in case of teams of 5 or 10 or more would be less than an individual account.
One more issue - sometimes users are cut off from accessing the internet on their workstations in order to steer them away from distractions. Is the software installed on the machine through Creative Cloud always checking for internet connection and validating the installation? Or is there some TCP port that should be left open to enable users to use the software without needing to enable their general internet access?
All in all - many thanks for making this an exciting new way of using the software, lowering the initial cost of ownership - this is bound to be a revolution, especially after all the creases have been ironed.

An Adobe resellers should work with you to find the best particular option in your particular circumstance.
This page gives some additional information about the option:
    http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/companies.html
Adobe Creative Cloud™ Team Ready is a Transactional Licensing Program (TLP) offering for small and medium businesses as well as teams within larger organizations. Businesses that purchase Creative Cloud Team Ready get immediate access to CS6 Master Collection plus access to additional tools and services, including Adobe Edge, Adobe Muse™, and Adobe Photoshop® Lightroom® (coming later in 2012), when they are available. This offer is available through Adobe's reseller partners only.
The Creative Cloud Team Ready offer will be available on May 7, 2012. The same date as Creative Cloud Membership. This will enable Adobe Volume Licensing customers to purchase a 1-year subscription to the CS6 Master Collection now, and then when the CCM Team offering if available, they can migrate easily from the CS6 Master Collection to the Creative Cloud Team.
All subscription products do connect to the internet once a month in the background to confirm the subscription status but this could just be added as firewall exception like you described.

  • Team vs. individual - 2 installs?

Wondering if someone can clarify for me the difference between team vs individual. Can a team cc user install their seat on two machines (ie. desktop and laptop) just like an individual member can under the terms of the individual license?
    Thanks!

One user can activate on two machines with an Individual or Team subscription.
With a Team subscription you have centralized billing with an Administrator who handles payment, and adds / removes Seats as needed. If someone had a paid Seat and it is removed they revert to a free / trial Individual membership. Also Team members get 100 GB of file storage instead of only 20 GB.

  • Can I use multiple computers eg. my desktop, laptop and iPad on an individual subscription?

If I buy a individual subscription can I use photoshop on multiple computers eg. my desktop, laptop and iPad?
If so, what is required on each device? If I am on my laptop away form home can I log onto photoshop and still access documents Ive been working on?
Sorry for the stupid questions, I do not fully understand how the 'Cloud' works and what it offers me if I need to use photoshop on several devices.
    Any assistance would be appreciated.
    Thank you

You have 2 activations, meaning you can use it on 2 computers. Mobile devices are treated separately and are not tied to the activation limit. Whether or not you will be able to work on your documents across will depend on syncing them or making them otherwise available through some shared (web) storage.

  • Moving several individual subscriptions to one team account

Both myself and one of our directors have individual creative cloud subscriptions (mine is single app only) and would like to move these in to a team(company) account to make it easier to manage and administer licenses as we grow our team. Can you advice the best way to go about this?
For your information we have not yet set up any team memeberships.
    Thanks

    Hi Thomas,
Once you will purchase Creative Cloud Teams for the employees then you can cancel the Creative Cloud membership for individual by contacting Adobe Customer Support and ask them to cancel the individual memberships.
You may also contact our support here http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6
    Thanks!

  • How to upgrade individual subscriptions to a single team subscription?

I have 6 staff that have individual creative cloud subscriptions with their own adobe id's. I want to migrate them all to a single team subscription that I manage. How can I go about this? Can I transfer them over or will I be stuck with their 1 year lock in?

Wes.deboer I would recommend contacting our support team directly.  You can convert your subscriptions but you will need the assistance of our support team so that you are not charged a cancellation fee.  You can start with our chat support at http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6.  You may want to consider contacting our Sales support though for your Country/Region.

  • Possibility to downgrade from team to individual plan without cancellation?

    Hi!
I'm from Ukraine and individual plan is not yet available for my country. While it is not, I plan to use team version.
Question is: When individual plan will be available for Ukraine, would it be easy/possible to downgrade to individual plan (without cancellation or some other major changes to subscription)?
P.S. Also, it is still not clear why plan is not yet available, and no information why. Without no information why it is not available, it looks much like a kind of discrimination - large number of countries should over-pay for team versions instead of individual for no reason. Waiting for availability for my country, or at least good explanation.

    Hi Tom,
I'm not sure why the team option was made available before individual. It may be related to the individual memberships being sold through the Adobe website versus team being sold through resellers. Its not possible to downgrade without cancellation, so you might want to wait for individual to become available.

  • Upgrading to Teams - from Individual Account - Questions & Issues

Okay live chat guys didn't really seem to be able to understand what I was asking so I'll try here.
Upgraded to Teams (now admin) and had my Individual membership cancelled.
Now I keep getting messages saying that my account cannot be verified when I launch software and that it will expire in 5 days.
I look at my dashboard and it shows no cc software has been downloaded though it's all on my computer. Do I need to unistall all my software and then reinstall via my teams app dashboard (which shows no software installed).
Also now when I log in to my cc account all my busniss catalyst websites no longer show on the dashboard. I have a learn more button which links to Dreamweaver and Muse downloads. and a note saying "Full Creative Cloud Membership comes with hosting for up to 5 sites. View and manage these sites from the sidebar on the Creative Cloud home page." So where are my sites? My Adobe Id has not changed.
    Thanks in advance.

Upgrades are not transferrable without every earlier version going along.
In short, your chances of successfully buying an upgrade and getting it activated are pretty much zero and even if you do, you'll still be very out of date.
My advice: if you need to upgrade, bite the bullet and pay full price for CS5.5.
