Telephone number does not get truncated in BP Master Record

Hi All,
Our requirement is to truncate the space between telephone number and extension on BP master record on WEB UI. But we are unable to figure out how to do this. So kindly suggest what kind of configuration or development need to be done.

You only want to change the display for the field ?
If so then just redefine the method GET_ for the corresponding attribute (you can get all infos by pressing F2 when cursor is in the field).

My Number Does Not Show Up On Phone Or In iTunes

This actually occurs on what is now my wife's iphone. It had been mine until I got the 3g one. We got a new sim from AT&T and activated it through itunes for my wife. Everything works, there are no special issues other than what everyone else has seen with the 2.0 software. Her number shows up on caller id on other phones all texts and emails and calls go through with no issue. However her number does not show up anywhere on her phone, not in settings on the phone screen, not on the contacts list and not on itunes either. I remember last year there were some posts regarding this issue but when I was using this phone my number showed up where it was supposed to be so I didn't pay attention to any possible resolutions. I've found a couple of posts that refer to a possible solution involving the sim card. However we went to an AT&T store and two of the guys there who both have iphones said that the sim wouldn't have anything to do with this.
I'm assuming that something didn't transfer over when we did the activation for her but have no idea how to rectify this. I did try a restore from backup but that didn't do anything. On my phone my number shows up in the right places. Even though this isn't a critical or major issue it does annoy me ( more me than my wife! ). Does anyone have any suggestions?

Wanted to post an update for anyone else with this issue. I was advised by someone else to call AT&T customer support and have them resend activation/provisioning to the phone. He said he had the issue and this worked for him. So I called and when I finally got someone I was told that there was nothing they could "resend" to the phone but she got in touch with an Apple iphone support person and after explaining the issue to her she connected me to the Apple rep. I explained everything again to her and she said there were two options - the "restore as new phone" which she did not recommend because of the hassle and length of time involved, or have the activation resent to the phone by AT&T. I told her that I had been told there was nothing to be resent. She told me that was incorrect and then she got back in touch with AT&T support then got back to me and said I would see a text message to power off the phone. When I saw that I was to power off and wait 5 minutes and then power the phone back on. At the time I was actually using the phone that had the issue so she called me back on my phone and after 5 minutes I powered the other phone back up and the number now shows up everywhere it's supposed to. Simple, no muss, no fuss and no restore!!
I thanked her profusely and we both wondered why the first AT&T service person I spoke to did not know that this could be done or did not want to. But she told me the AT&T guys are a little scared of the Apple guys and that they can get things done that we might not be able to. Anyway it is a simple process if you can get them to do it the first time, maybe it's best to go through the Apple people first. The Apple service rep was wonderful and I'm happy!

Either one of you needs to uncheck the other's phone number under settings<messages<send & receive or one of you needs to sign out of the apple ID in iMessage settings altogether by pressing the apple id on the page and choosing 'sign out'

Serial number is not getting updated in GR

Problem: Serial number in not getting updated GR document (in stock) while going GR for production order.
We are using u201CBAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATEu201D to do production order GR in one development. And we have used serial number profile in which we kept GR as optional. Please fine details of serial number profile as below. We have a restriction that we can not make GR mandatory in serial number profile.

Since your MMSL procedure is optional, you cannot carry assignment of Serial Numbers against goods Movement. Though you are passing serial numbers during GR, but Serial Numbers are linked only upto Production Order Level, not upto the Stock. The only option to display the Serial numbers against Stock can be done using MMSL procedure as 3. We also faced the similer situation, whenever ur doing automatic goods movement with MMSL as 02 [Auto GR], One possible solution, is to create a custom program to complete ur GR like using Call Transaction BDC -MB32, not as standard SAP Auto GR, & need to make MMSL as 3...so that both purpose gets served [ Serial number linking to stock & Automatic GR using custom program]
Please share, if you get any better idea

The trial is always extended. The serial number you enter determines whether it runs as standard or extended.
I'm getting through fine with that link, so it must be a browser issue or some such thing. Try another browser.

My cursor frequently stops working. It still moves but nothing happens when I click with it. Also, when I go for support Apple tells me my serial number does not exist but I am sure I am entering the correct one.

My arrow cursor changes unexpectedly to the "tall I" cursor and then I can't open links.
My two delete buttons only work one letter/number at a time.
When I go for Apple support it says my serial number does not exist? But I know it is correct!

If you think getting your web pages to appear OK in all the major browsers is tricky then dealing with email clients is way worse. There are so many of them.
If you want to bulk email yourself, there are apps for it and their templates will work in most cases...

I posted an Invoice (FB60) and did payment through F110, But cheque no. is not displayed, when i have given print preview/print. or T.code SP01.
My configuration is correct in FBZP say....
1. Payment methods in company code ZLF_PRENUM_CHEC1
2. Payment method in country ZF110_US_AVIS
(Q) How to get the cheque no. When I do invoice and payment?
(Q) The check number does not appear on the top right hand corner of check as it should in the print check layout and does not appear in the check number box?

Hi,
You must have the following profiles to BWREMOTE or ALEREMOTE users.So add it. Bcoz either of these two users will use in background to get extract teh data from ECC, so add tehse profiels in BW.
S_BI-WHM_RFC, S_BI-WHM_SPC, S_BI-WX_RFC
And also check the following things.
1.Connections from BW to ECC and ECC to BW in SM59
2.Check Port,Partner Profiles,and Message Types in WE20 in ECC & BW.
3.Check Dumps in ST22, and SM21.
4.If Idocs are stuck i.e see the OLTP Idoc numbers in RSMO Screen in (BW) detials tab see in bottom, you can see OLTP Idoc number and take the Idoc numbers and then goto to ECC see the status in WE05 or WE02, if error then check the log else goto to BD87 in ECC and give the Idoc numbers and execute manually and see in RSMO and refresh.
5.Check the LUWs struck in SM58,User Name = * (star) and run it and see Strucked LUWs and select our LUW and execute manually and see in RSMO in BW.

Online number does not ring

My online number does not ring on my computer...it has in the past and all of a sudden it no longer rings...what is the problem....all sound and speakers work correctly it doesnt even show an incoming call only registers that the number has called

I have had a Skype online telephone number for over two years. However, within the last two months, I have been having a similar problem as SteveCl, as when someone calls my Skype telephone number my Skype does not ring intermittently.
In addition, I use Google Voice, which allows someone to call my Google Voice telephone number, which will then automatically ring all of the telephones that I have associated with this service. For example, if someone calls my Google Voice number, my landline, cell phone, MagicJack, and Skype telephone lines (should) ring. My landline, cell phone, and MagicJack all ring consistently when someone calls my Google Voice telephone number. However, Skype rings intermittently, at least in the last two months.
Until recently, my Skype online number rang consistently when someone called it. This problem has only manifested itself within the last two months. Making the problem even more puzzling is that sometimes my Skype online number will ring through while other times it will not. For example, on March 24, 2012, it worked; however, on March 25, it does not work. Sometimes Skype will not ring through at 3 p.m. but will ring through at 3:30 p.m.; as I said, this is very intermittent. I have the most recent version of the Skype software installed. Skype is configured to allow calls to my Skype number from anyone. I have not changed this setting.
I can use Skype to call out to telephone numbers or other Skype users without a problem. In addition, I have not noticed any problems when Skype users call me; Skype on my ends rings through in this case. Skype-to-telephone and Skype-to-Skype calls are usually good quality, so my Internet connection should not be influencing this issue.
I would also like to contact Skype directly about this issue. If anyone knows how, please let me know.

Aperture serial number does not work

I just got a Mac Book Air, my Aperture Serial number does not work. it tells me it is not correct. How can I use my software now?

First how did you purchase Aperture and how did you install it on the Air? As the Air does not have a DVD drive it would help to know how you got the app onto it.
Start with Troubleshooting Professional Application Serial Numbers and see if that helps.
There is also Pro Application Replacement Serial Numbers if you're not able to get your serial number working.

FCP Kona Card does not get input from FCP??

Kona card LHE. Had it working just fine but I did something goofy and the Kona control panel does not get an input from FCP. Open to any and all suggestions.

Figure out what you did goofy and then do the opposite.
Seriously, what have you done to troubleshoot this? There's any number of goofy things that you could do that may result in this issue. I'd start with reading the Kona manual and the rather extensive part in FCP about external monitoring.

The GPS sendor does not get a fix.

I have tested the GPS sensor from time to time.
It does not get a fix, and flashing once a second.
I made it to face to open sky, so I do not think it did not find satellites.
So I get the following log, when I run the demo program.

Hi -
The sensor does take awhile to locate the satellites, even it is is facing the open sky - sometimes as long as 15 minutes. However, in a dense urban setting, even then it has a hard time getting the signal with the built in passive antenna.
I recommend considering purchasing an active antenna, like this one. Be sure to also purchase the adapter cable that Adafruit recommends. Using this antenna, I was able to get a signal inside of building in downtown San Francisco.

Congratulations on your new phone Gramps5019! Let's make sure we fix this asap. All you have to do is go to Settings from your phone, the More>Select 'Default SMS App' and choose "Messages" instead of "Messages ". This will fix it.

Dbacockpit overview pane does not get populated

I have already gone through the several other threads on sdn which repeat the same issue here but I am not able to find a solution via them. Can any one give me some leads into this...

We applied all relevant support packs which were part of Support stack 13. This involved also patching SAP BASIS from 10 to 13. Also NW04S 700 kernel was upgraded to patch 114 (SAPEXE and SAPEXEDB SAR packages)
STATEMENT OF PROBLEM(S)
Tcode dbacockpit does not refresh data in the overview pane.
note: db02old still works and we are able to refresh stats from there but dbacockpit overiew pane does not get populated.
Also post support packs: sap_collector_for_performance runs successfully but reports in job log database system is not supported
When we do a refresh via dbacockpit, the job refresh space statistics ends with a compute bcd overflow dump.
CHECKS ALREADY MADE
--Note 1066044 for the BCD overflow dump does not help. We are already at BASIS pack 13 and the correction contained in the note is already in place. As
per the note since are already at BASIS SP13 we should not be facing this. Why are we facing this then ?

For this issue it's still not working for me in Sanbox BI. I got a SAP message open for this. But I got it to work on Dev and TST systems. There was one mistake I was making. This may not be the cause though but just for your info. When we go to dbacockpit, click on collector setup icon. And there when we give connection name = "default" and then action as "create connection", I was not saving the variant. Click save and give a name to the variant like "refresh stats" or something. Then click refresh icon so that the "Refresh space statistics" will run in background. When I saved the variant on dev and test BI I did not end with a BCD overflow dump for the "refresh space statistics" job.The refresh space stat job needs to find the variant name.And this then populated the dbacockpit -> space -> overview pane. Although the "perf for monitor" job still has log entries "db system not supported" that doesn't matter. It's probably a message we can ignore.
Also if you are still facing prob, check these.
You say you are on SP12 which SP component are you referring to (stack number ?. BASIS ? BW ?). Make note I have done the support stack 13 which contains upto the BW patch upto 15 and upto BASIS patch 13. Note 1066044 says if you have BASIS 13 you won't face this problem .
Is your "perf for collector" job running without issues. That is a prereq to the "Refresh space stats" job. Try to troubleshoot that as well. I think the refresh stats job has to find the data in table MONI which gets populated via "perf for collector" (RSCOLL00).
