Template help : CLoudy Theme 24

Hi wanted some help with the Cloudy- Theme 24 I am using. By default it puts "Logout" as part of the #NAVIGATION_BAR# as default in white writting. See default template code below:

I added the following code and it put the Welcome meessage above the "Logout" link and in black writting. So both end up on different lines.

#WELCOME_USER#
#NAVIGATION_BAR#

</div>
I also tried the following and it puts the Wecome message on the same line as the "Logout" link and in white writing but puts the welcome message after the "Logout" link. But I want it before the "Logout" link

What I want is for it to say is the welcome message, followed by the "Logout" link all on one line in white writing.
