Test Console is not working

When I try to open a testconsole from the sbconsole I get the following error:
An unexpected error occurred accessing the test service: java.net.ConnectException: t3://[some ip:port] Destination unreachable; nested exception is:
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused; No available router to destination
The some ip is not the ip address of the server, which confuses me. Does anyone have any clue what to do in this kind of circumstance?

OSB version 10gR3, in a clustered domain (single admin and single managed).
Listen Address is x.x.x.140 for both admin and managed server.
The test console errors out with being unable to connect to x.x.x.40.
40 != 140 which is probably why it's failing, but why is it trying to connect to x.x.x.40?

Hi,
I connected to ALOM on V240 installed with Solaris 10.
console -f does not give me console on screen.

Another observation in this case is that I found server is connected to KVM and the console is working there currently.

for other server with same eeprom values, ALOM>console -f shows console login prompt. but KVM console is not working for this server.

Set your input-device and output-device to 'ttya' to force the system console via the ALOM.
The default settings of screen/keyboard will still route the console to ALOM when there is not actually a screen and keyboard attached, but when they are attached, well, they become the console.

Console port not working.

Hello!
I would like to know if there's some situation what a console port could be disabled, or something like that.
I'm trying to configure a Catalyst 2960 Series PoE-24 by the console port using the hyperterminal, but it's not working. I verified the cable and the COM port, and everything works with another switch (same model).
Does anyone knows what could possibly be happening?

My colleagues have focused on the usual issues that cause the console to not work - possible issues with the terminal emulator or more likely is mis match in the speed setting of the console. If you work through those possibilities and the console still does not work then I have another possibility to suggest. Perhaps someone configure the command no exec under line con 0. This would cause the console to not work. It would display messages during bootup but would not accept any commands.
Does the switch seem to boot up normally? Was it configured with an IP address that you could potentially telnet to? This would give you a way to investigate the configuration.
If my suggestion is correct and the issue is that no exec was configured then you should be able to use password recovery to bypass the existing config and this could restore normal operation for the switch.

ALSB 3.0 : Request message works in Test Console but not from Client side

By invoking a Web Service operation through a signature/encryption enabled Proxy Service in the ALSB Test Console for Proxy Services, i get a successful response.

In both ways, with Direct Call option selected or deselected, the behaviour is the same.
I cannot explain, why the replay of the request does not work from outside the Service Bus. Is there some sort of unique data mixed into the CipherValue data or something like that?

Web Service Client(Console App) not working on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition

I am trying to consume an ASMX Web Service in a console app, its working fine in Windows 7,Windows Server 2012 Standard,Windows Server 2008 R2 DataCenter,Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise, But its not working in Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition which

I tried consuming the ASMX web service using Web Reference and Service Reference as well but its not helping. Its throwing up the following error,

The scenario is that i call the web service and it returns me an XML i am not able to receive the XML on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition.

OEM web console is not working from client side

Hi All,
I have 2 node RAC environment on windows 2003 server with 11g r1. My problem is on node a "oracle enterprise manager" "https://server-a:1158/em" is not working (node A). Is there any thing that I can do to solve this problem ?
On node B the url "https://server-b:1158/em" is working.
Any help would be appreciate.

It works as expected, dbconsole runs on only ONE node in the cluster, all agents from this and the other nodes report to this console, statement from documentation:

Writing to file in JUnit test case? Not working?

I have a singleton class called InstantLogger that internally uses a PrintWriter to write to file. It is very basic, has startLogger(String filename), log(String msg), and stopLogger(). startLogger just creates file, log write to file, and stopLogger closes file.
When I use this class outside of the JUnit test suite it works fine.
As soon as I use it in a JUnit test it does not write to file. It creates the file (this happens in the TestSuite), but will not write anything to it (when log is called from TestCase). I put a System.out in the log function and I see that, but still nothing writing to file. And I will say it again, it does work in non TestCase scenarios so I know it works.
Is there something that could be preventing me from writing to file in JUnit TestCase? Could this be a Singleton Issue?

Your code is wrong. You're assuming something that isn't correct. You're also making the assumption that just because it "works" in another context that it's right in all contexts. The two aren't the same, be it configuration or something else.

In LabVIEW OI the Run Selected Step Using Test UUTs does not work

TestStand LabVIEW Operator Interface (old style) - TestStand Version 2.0.1 & 3.0
The Interactive option was enabled for the Process Model Entry Point - Test UUTs in the SequentialModel.seq.
When selective steps were selected to run within the LV OI using the menu item 'Run Selected Step Using - Test UUTs' it was found not to work.
The reason for it not working was because the main event string was "Run Selected Step 0" but this isn't available in the case statement. Changing the "Run Selected Step 1".."Run Selected Step 9999" to "Run Selected Step 0".. didn't produced the desired result. Instead of the selected steps running using the entry point Test UUTs, the steps ran without the process model.
The Case Statement string was retored back to "Run Selected Step 1".
The changes that are required to make the "Run Selected Step 1".."Run Selected Step 9999" work with either of the Entry Points are as follow.
In the VI TestStand - Create Entry Point Menus for Interactive Exec.vi
Insert an Increment from the iteration terminal of the FOR loop. This ensures the Message Queue string generated is in the range 1 - 9999 not 0 - 9999.
In the TestStand - Sequence Display.vi
For the Main Message Event "Run Selected Steps", "Run Selected Step 1".."Run Selected Step 9999"
In the case "1, Default", decrement the input 'Entry Point Index' to the VI TestStand - Start Interactive Entry Point Execution.vi. This ensures the Entry Point Index starts from the value 0.
Now when the selected steps are run using a Pocess Model Entry Point, they run correctly.
This problem only appears to affect the LabVIEW Operator Interface and only the old style. The new style that comes with TestStand 3.0 runs correctly.
There is one other problem. When an Operator is logged in to TestStand, the Entry Point - 'Single Pass' is disabled. But this is not reflected to the menu item 'Run Selected Step Using'. Both 'Test UUTs' and 'Single Pass' are available to the operator.
The reason for this is because in the VI 'TestStand - Create Entry Point Menus for Interactive Exec.vi' the sub menu item is enabled as a result from the property Sequence.AllowInteractiveExecutionOfEntryPoint. This is not enough to disable the 'Single Pass'. The Engine.CurrentUserHasPrivilege needs to be checked as well. Which means modications to the VI 'TestStand - Create Entry Point Menus for Interactive Exec.vi'.

I am about to implement a vi which calls TestStand functions. This vi will allow to select tests and permits test re-entry (loops) if the user has supervisor privileges.
I will consider what you recommend in this string.
I will also provide feedback on this thread if I discover anything .... let's say "unusual"..
On another note, I am using TestStand 3.0 I have not observed any problems when running selected steps or run selected steps using single pass. I have also within TestStand set privileges for certain Operators to do the same. They have not reported any problems.

MyDAQ fails Self-Test and will not work with any software

I cannot get the myDAQ to communicate properly. I did everything I could to make sure that the device was detected by the computer. It shows up in Device Manager under Data Acquistition Devices as NI myDAQ and in NI MAX as "myDAQ1", but I receive errors when trying to use it with any NI program.
Trying to self-test or reset the device in MAX gives these errors:
-The self test failed. -88705 The specified device is not present or is not active in the system. The device may not be installed on this system, may have been unplugged, or may not be installed correctly.
-There was a problem resetting the device. Error code: 80040383.
It also gives this error when trying to use the Elvis Oscilloscope:
-Error -200324 occurred at ELVISmx_DAQmx Create Channel (AI-Voltage-Basic).vi:1
Possible reason(s):
NI-DAQmx is unable to communicate with the device. Make sure the device is present in and accessible to the system, is not currently being reset, and is not reserved by another driver such as Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy).
I have uninstalled and reinstalled and repaired all installed NI products twice. I updated to NI-DAQmx 9.8.0 and am using NI Elvis 4.5. I have checked NI Device Loader and mDNS Responder Service in Services and everything is running properly. I have also tried Reset Configuration Data in NI MAX several times. I turned Fast Startup off as suggested in one article. I have tried plugging it into every single USB port on my computer; all 8 of them. The blue led is on when plugged in, but I cannot figure out why it will not work with any of the software. I am running Windows 8 Pro 64-bit. Also, it completely works on the school computers running Windows 7 without any problems. I would like to have it functioning with all the NI software purchased, but all I want to do is use the oscilloscope software for now. It has honestly been way too much work and a huge loss of time for something that should work out of the box. Please help me resolve this, thanks.

I had already read that article so it wasn't anything I hadn't tried. I did, however, uninstall both NI DAQmx and NI ELVISmx, ran the registry cleaner and then plugged my device in. Now it shows up as USB Flash Firmware Updater. This is actually what it showed the first time I plugged this in out of the box. After much troubleshooting I was finally able to get it to at least recognize it as a myDAQ. This is problem I know others have had.
To answer your questions:
Does the Test Panels work at all?
I am not sure, I didn't try it before uninstalling. Now the Test Panels isn't an option because it is recognized as the Flash Firmware Updater.
Have you tried to delete the device in MAX?
Once again, I cannot because it shows up as Flash Firmware Updater.
Which is the color of the icon on the left side of “myDAQ1”?
It was green before the uninstall. Now it shows the USB symbol.
I tried deleting the driver. When I plugged the device back it, Windows started automatically trying to load a driver for it. Now it shows as NI myDAQ with a yellow exclamation symbol. In MAX it shows as NI myDAQ with a USB symbol. Under Driver Details it says "Windows does not have a driver associated with your device."
What folder can I manually point Device Manager to in order to load the correct driver?

Process validation for test case is not working

I' am using SQL Developer EAR 3.0.02.83. The is a test case defined which uses "Query returns rows" with Select count(*) from dual;
It should return a row an that way fulfill the test.
but when running the testcase I get the result ERROR due to:
Query returns rows not succesful: null
How can I find the reason? Is this a bug?
Even other types of validation do not work, they always give null and the overall result ERROR.

6509 Console port not working

We have a 6509 running 5.4(2). We have set up a hyperterm session and connect to multiple devices, then we get to the 6509 and it will not work. When we reload the 6509 and we are consoled into it, we get data until it is finished reloading. Then the console connections is no longer there. Any help will be appreciated.

MyDAQ passes Self-Test but will not work with any software

I am currently having issues getting the myDAQ to interface with ELVISmx Instruments. My first attempt followed the included white paper step by step. When that did not work I moved on and tried installing (one at a time of course) several different versions of ELVISmx (14.0, 4.5, 4.3.2, 4.3.1, 4.2.1, and 4.1) and none of them have been able to interface correctly with the hardware. Additionally, I have tried installing the entire LabView suite provided by Georgia Institute of Technology, and several other NI applications associated with the myDAQ on the white paper.
The software installs have all completed successfully, the ELVSImx instrument launcher launches; however when I click on the DMM tool, or any other one, the application fails to load. A loading window pops up and the blue status bar scrolls but nothing ever happens. The application window never launches. I let it run over night thinking it might be confused or just really slow but nothing changed in the morning. The only way to exit out of the window is to end the task in the task manager.
In NI MAX, the hardware is recognized correctly and the "self test" feature returns that the myDAQ is functioning correctly. I have checked the Event Viewer for Windows applications and there do not appear to be any errors associated to any NI software.
I have exhausted all my resources in trying to get this to work but all of have done is frustrate myself and everyone I speak to about the issue.

The myDAQ requires the NI DAQmx drivers as well as NI ELVISmx. Have you tried installing NI DAQmx?

Admin Server Console is not working

Hi,
I have installed weblogic server 9.2 wirh SIP server on win2k the created domain successfully. With "Admin Server Console", I can not do anything because I get following errors;
It seems XML to HTML transform is not working? Any help is appreciated.
"The template you provided at /WEB-INF/templates/form.xml could not be processed"
"ERROR: 'Instruction unknown: loadinstruction'
FATAL ERROR: 'Could not compile stylesheet'
