Text Editor over 1500 lines of text extremely slow!

Has anyone else noticed that if you start a new as file that
you can put 'test' from left to right about 50 times and then copy
and paste that line over 1500 lines and try to type that it can
only type like 1 letter a second? I thought that it was trying to
reference variables and verifying code but I ended up debugging it
and just copying the word 'test' over and over again and noticed
that anything over about 1500 lines that it starts eaten up ALL my
processor and can only type a little over a letter / sec.
Originally I noticed when I was coding the main form in flex at its
about 3300 lines of code, I try to modify a couple values and its
almost an all night event to change one function around a little
bit.
What Im trying to get at is asking if anyone
1. Has had this issue and
2. How can I fix this issue by disabling or fixing something?
If anyone could help me, I would be SO happy =D I have almost
now started using notepad, then copying and pasting it into my
editor cause it takes SO long to just type it out without any
intellesence or anything. Thanks

I started running into this same issue the past couple of
days. I've had FB 2.01 running fine for over 8 months (with the
exception of installing the FB 3 Beta 3 which screwed everything up
and forced me to completely uninstall all Adobe products and
'clean' up and re-install everything..that was fun<8-)
I'm working on a couple of projects for customers and getting
ready to go live with one next week, so I was panicking big time...
I decided to take the dog for a walk and while I was out, it
occured to me that this behavior (the slow typing, slow everything)
was only in one project (only 200 lines or so) and I was able to
close that project and open bigger projects (500 lines or so) and
they worked fine.
Likewise, editing XML files in the same project worked ok...
it was just the actionscipt in Script blocks in the MXML
documents...
so, I copied out my code from the problem file to Notepad,
deleted the project, created a new folder and a new project and
pasted in the code... viola... back to normal
So, I guess something about that project got corrupted or
something
I make my living with this stuff... so its pretty upsetting
to have to deal with issues like this... and its pretty much my
worst nightmare realized, remembering when I first heard that Adobe
was taking over Macromedia... on the other hand, i heard Adobe just
passed the 3 (or 4) billion dollar mark in sales for the first
time... which just gives me a warm feeling all over (if you know
what I mean<;-)

As i said in the title, my net speed over the speed seems to be extremely slow. I had my adsl upgraded recently from 2mbits/s to 5mbits/s but when i had 2mbits/s the speed seemed to be fine and after the upgrade downloads just dropped down to 5-50kb/s when its supposed to be arround 300-600 kb/s. Is it a problem with my router or something to do with the iPod? Please help.

The 802.11g standard for wireless networking supports a maximum bandwidth of 54 Megabits per second (Mbps).
That does NOT mean that the average throughput will reach 54 Mb/s. The "speed" terminus is merely used to describe the bandwidth of a connection, not its actual speed.

First to think on is, that Bluetooth and 811.g uses the same frequency and may interference.

I had to disconnect Mozilla because it accessed over 1500 sites that I deleted; how can i install without this same problem?

I had to remove all Mozilla programs because each time I would access Mozilla, over 1500 sites would open and slow down my computer and I deleted these sites or thought I had deleted them but for some reason Mozilla would access them and open them creating a huge problem with shutting down Mozilla. I was enjoying Mozilla again till this recurring problem. Can someone provide guidance as to how I can resolve this matter and reinstall Mozilla without having 1500 sites open at once?

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

Windows Explorer EXTREMELY slow at copying files from network, but robocopy works

Hi guys,
I'm having a REALLY BAD performance issue when copying files over from SAMBA 4 to any Windows 7 computer. To copy a folder containing 50 files with a total of 10 MB using the explorer it takes about 20 minutes (!!) at a rate of 3-5 KB/s, but when using robocopy
the same folder takes like 3 seconds to complete. Also, the issue does not occur with older versions of Windows, like Windows XP and Windows Server 2003.
Please please please come up with some ideas except the usuals like disabling Remote Differential Compression, disable autotuning using netsh, setting local security policies for NTML authentication or trying new switches / upgrading network drivers or windows.
I DID IT ALL, but nothing helped!

But it showing 22 lines and some times 30 lines .

If you change your tool to the "Direct Selection Tool" (A) then you should be able to adjust the area for you to type in...

Getting lines on pages over previous line. Garbled

Ever since I tried to make print bigger on same page everytime, next line prints and displays over previous line. This happens on every page, just a few lines but same lines everytime I go back. Only happens on Firefox, Safari OK.

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a (too) high value can cause issues.

Why is zoom and adding text so slow?

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro XI on Mac OS (Yosemite). My pinch zoom using trackpad is extremely laggy (but the regular zoom that snaps to a fixed %zoom is fine). Also, the content editing add text tool is extremely slow; when I type ten letters, each letter appears one every two seconds or so.

Acrobat is not currently officially compatible with Yosemite, so problems are to be expected...

Yosemite Mail 8.0 and Safari 8.0 text input slow

Since I upgraded to Yosemite I have noticed that text input in Mail 8.0 and Safari 8.0 is extremely slow. Mail, however, is somewhat worse than Safari. As I type this there is a lag before what I type appears on the screen but in Mail it can be as much as three or four seconds - so if I make a typing error, trying to backspace and correct it can be a bit of a nightmare.
As far as I can tell, it does not occur in any other application. I have read reports of Yosemite being slow but nothing seems to mention this particular problem. That said, I have tried some of the fixes such as turning off transparency but nothing has worked.
Anybody any clues?

I'm looking at Activity Monitor and at the moment, under Memory > Memory, I see:

Safari 1.22 GB
No other applications have anything near this. Even Photoshop with several images open only has 300 MB.

According to your description that when you view the report it is extremely slow in SSRS 2008 R2 but it is very fast when execute the query in dataset designer, right?
I have tested on my local environment and can‘t reproduce the issue. Obviously, it is the performance issue, rendering performance can be affected by a combination of factors that include hardware, number of concurrent users accessing reports, the amount
of data in a report, design of the report, and output format. If you have parameters in your report which contains many values in the list, the bad performance as you mentioned is an known issue on 2008 R2 and already have the hotfix:

If you don’t have, you can do some action to improve the performance when designing the report. Because how you create and update reports affects how fast the report renders.

The delivery class of table AUFM (A) indicates that it is an application table, not a customising table and as such should not be transported.
This table contains many foreign key filelds within it. If you transported this table alone to your production system you would probably render the system unusable.
This table should only be copied as part of a client copy, when other related tables would also be copied.
You should ask the person requesting the transport why they want to copy this table alone to your production system.

Extremely slow performance transferring data over USB with Time Capsule

I have the 2TB wireless Time Capsule. I have it setup as an extension to my current WiFi at home, since I already had a WLAN router. I have an external harddrive (500gig) that I connected to my Time Capsule because I wanted to transfer data from the Time Capsule to the external HD. The external HD is formatted with FAT32 file system, so read/write is no problem.
When, using my MacBook Pro, I navigated to the Time Capsule and dragged files over to the connected USB harddrive (connected directly in the Time Capsule), the performance to transfer is extremely SLOW! It was slower than doing the transfer completely wirelessly (USB drive connected to laptop and transfer wirelessly from TC)!
I do not understand this at all! It should be a simple transfer using the USB connection! When I do a transfer from my laptop directly to the USB harddrive, with it connected directly to the laptop, the transfers are super fast!
What happened? Can someone please explain this or tell me what I need to do?

I am still confused here.
My original question was regarding the use of my USB external harddrive. It was connected to the back of the TC. The TC was wirelessly speaking to my WLAN router. Using my laptop (also wirelessly speaking to WLAN router), I navigated to the TC and saw 2 listings - one for the data on the harddrive in the TC and one for the new external USB drive connected to the back of the TC. I wanted to transfer data from the harddrive in the TC to the USB external drive. Based on what I expected, I thought the transfer rate would merely be limited by the USB 2.0 interface that is being used by the external drive. However, I was definitely wrong! The transfer rate (shown by the estimate in time to transfer the data by my MacBook Pro) was doubled to 14 hrs.
Originally, it was only 7 hrs when the USB external drive is connected directly to my laptop and I connect to the TC wirelessly. Weird!
So why doesn't the TC simply transfer the data from its internal harddrive to the external USB drive directly without using any wireless technology?
The second question I have is regarding the setup of the TC itself. I have a NetGear WLAN router and its an "n" router. So the speed is good. I have my TC currently downstairs from the WLAN router. Therefore the TC is setup as simply a wireless harddrive. It speaks through the WLAN router in order to be available to all my laptops in my house. My question is whether it should instead be directly connected to the WLAN router using an ethernet cable? Would this improve my overall transfer rates to/from the TC?
