Text field area issue on Confirmation screen

In SRM 5.0 EC scenario while doing Confirmations/Returns/Cancellations, I need to enter details in the Vendor text and Internal Note which appears at the item level in Documents tab.
However this test box appears at the upper left hand corner of the screen, instead of appearing against the respective field label.
Please let me know if any changes need to be done so that the text box appears at its appropriate location

QM03-Custom tab-Change to text field not reflecting-FG - XQQM-screen-0106

Hi,
I have a requirement to change the text field on a custom tab of QM03 transaction. Quality notification type is Z1 and the tab is "Checklist". Both are custom defined.
The existing text field is of 3 lines. The new text message is of 8 lines. When I did the changes on the custom screen 0106 in the function group XQQM, the changes are not reflected on the QM03 transaction's custom tab. Only first 3 lines were reflecting the change and rest of the 5 lines are not appearing on the screen.
Pointers on this will be definitely helpful.

I had a similar problem, but it was with the message line. I found that with Web Forms, I had to issue the Synchronize; a second time, but in Client/Server Forms 6i, the first synchronize worked. Here is the code I used:

Can't figure out why all of my editable text fields are filling with the same text.

I running Adobe Reader 7. I was given a PDF file that has three seperate text fields. I typed test into the first field, and the other two fields have filled with the exact same text. What is up with that? I've enclosed the file for your enjoyment.

Adobe Livecycle Designer 7.0 - Text fields are not returning data on email submission-Help?

Hello - I am using Livecycle Designer 7.0 and have created a form with different fields to be filled out and submitted via email back to me using the standard submit by email button.
However, when the form is filled out and returned all the control field choices from both the checkboxes and the radio buttons are there - but nothing from the textbox fields is returned in the email submission. Those fields are not being returned.
also - once they are returned how do I ensure they will repopulate via the import data into the form functionality?

Text field highlighting Issue in oracle forms 11g after migrating from 10g

We have migrated the oracle forms from 10g to 11g.
On 10g oracle form when I click on the text item then text item value gets hilighted in blue color but after converting same form(without making any code changes) into 11g version form when I click on then text item then value is NOT hilighted.
Could please help me why it's behaving different? Are there any configuration changes required at the application server side?

We have forms 11.1.1.2.0.
In oracle forms “text item value is highlighted When user clicks on text item” is controlled by form level property “KEEP CURSOR POSITION”.
This property is not working with JAVA SUN plug-in in forms version 11.1.1.2.0.
This issue has been fixed under Patch Set 2 (11.1.1.3.0). Please see below meta link.

Text fields are not displayed for custom infotypes in Adhoc query

We have developed a custom infotype , which we had incldued in the adhoc query. when we generate output , it is showng codes instead of text . In the output filed , it is hwoing only vaue and Vale and text is diabled.
please let me know , how to add text in the out filed filed

Text Field layout/size issues

Has anyone else noticed that when you add a text field component onto a layout, the view of it inside of JSC2 is not how it appears in browser? For example, I am staring at a JSC2 screen where the bottom of the line of text(label) aligns with the bottom of the text-field. However, once in the browser, the text field is a good amount larger (reader below) the label's bottom. From exploring, it seems like the text-field gains an extra grid size when translated from JSC2 to web. (My grid is set to 5 px, and the text-field only aligns once I make it 1 grid space too small). Is this the case? Possibly known bug, and is there any solution other then just make all of the text fields too small?

I have a similar problem, and I think it is a bug to. The IDE display of a text field is about two times the size of the actual size of the text field displayed in the browser. I tried both IE 6.0 and Firefox and the result is the same, so it is not a browser specific issue.
I have to set the columns attribute of the text field almost twice as big big in the IDE display to get half as much in the browser. Overall it is irritating since my design view looks like my text fields are over lapping other components when that is actually not the case when I deploy it.

PO screen custom fields are not in correct order

Added my custom fields for PO structure INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSD_PO fields are visible in PO screen automatically with out adding my custom fields in PO layout /SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_PO_I_BD
when i go to PO screen i can see my custom fields but all fields are not in correct order.How can my fields should be in order.
and i added two custom buttons in my PO layout for WD component /SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_PO_I_BD i am not able to see my buttons?

I've had this problem. There may be a more elegant solution, but what I do is make a playlist of the album and put the movements in the correct order in the playlist. I've also put numbers (01, 02, etc.) in front of the name of the movements. Either one works.

How do I apply a texture to a text field's fill area?

Hi all, first post and all that!
I've seen that it's possible to format a specific bit of text in a text field with:
setTextFormat(format:TextFormat, beginIndex:int = -1, endIndex:int = -1):void
I need to format a section of text by applying a texture to the rectangular fill space around the letters. (Imagine in Microsoft Word that you've written a short sentence and you highlight it. Then you fill the text background with a colour. Then imagine that that colour is a single repeating texture. That's what I'm trying to achieve.) Note that the text field must be multiline, and I'm not looking to fill the whole rectangular text field area. The applied texture needs to fit to each character.
Is this possible in Actionscript?
Would I need to use some kind of HTML or CSS formatting?
Is it possible at all?
If it is possible, is it possible to change the size of the fill area around the text?

That'll fill an area with a repeating texture. The tricky bit now is to work out a top left coordinate for each line of text, and the length of each line in pixels (based on the sum of the character widths). I'll have a poke around and see if there's a way to get that information back from a movie clip.

Radio buttons (from Indesign) get larger and overlap when fields are highlighted in Acrobat X

I have created my first set of interactive forms using Indesign CS6 Buttons and Forms dialog box. As the formatting of the fields does not seem to carry over, I have left the text boxes as Indesign objects and added text fields over the top of them in Acrobat X. I also intended to add drop down menus in Acrobat instead because I didn't like how the Indesign list box behaved in Acrobat (having to click through each item rather than dropping down the entire list). There does not seem to be a way to add a drop down menu item from within Indesign. (Or if there is, can someone please point it out? :-) )
However I used the sample buttons supplied within Indesign to create radio buttons and check boxes (which automatically included the graphics for the different states). On my first test export to Acrobat it appeared that the buttons retained their formatting, but something rather strange is happening when the fields are highlighted, whereby the buttons enlarge and overlap each other. Very frustrating I must say! I have just about gone nuts trying to find a solution. I've tried several different button options from the sample set; I've created them from scratch within Indesign; I've attempted to resize the fields in Acrobat form editing mode, but this screws up the original buttons. I also have found that once selected in Acrobat, I cannot deselect them again. (Don't know if this is significant info but it may point to some kind of stacking problem??)
Anyway, to make it clearer here are some screen captures:
1. Form as it looks when opened in Acrobat X. The two different check box styles are from me experimenting in trying to fix this issue. But they all seem to behave the same way once highlighted.
2. Form when interactive fields are highlighted. The text fields are perfect but note the big ugly overlapping circles... :-(

I am having the exact same problem. I can't find a way around it. It seems that they included some states like normal, rollover, and click—but they didn't include a highlighted state. So when highlight fields is on it just shows the generic standard check box, which looks ridiculous if you have customized it at all in inDesign. I read a lot of people saying they can't find a way to change the highlight state—anyone out there have any answers?

How to remove the automatically generated text fields from the InfoSet

I followed the procedure by SAP help.
Automatically generated text fields are marked with a 'T' on the icon in the InfoSet. You can remove the automatically generated text fields from the InfoSet in the initial screen of the InfoSet maintenance under Further Functions -> Delete Text Fields. Cancel the DataSource creation on the next screen and delete the text fields in the InfoSet maintenance transaction.
I know that there is an option "No automatic text recognition" when I create a new InfoSet, however, I couldn't find out how to change an existed InfoSet. I checked menu Goto->Global Properties, but that option is disabled. Is there a way to remove text fields from an existed InfoSet?

In the initial screen (when you enter transaction code SQ02) type your infoset name and goto menu: Infoset -> More functions -> Delete text fields. this will delete all text fields.

IPhone 4S browser text fields

When entering numbers in a text field on a Safari web screen, a "comma" is automatically added when 4 or more numbers are entered. How can I disable this from happening?

I would certainly contact the mobile webmaster if this happened consistently across the board to all of my iPhone users. This issue seems specific to one user which is why I thought it may be an individual settings issue.

Problems, PopUp y Text fields disabled

I have a PopUp, that inside is a report of two columns ID,DESCRIPTION. the column DESCRIPTION
jascript is or Link to a URL that calls one, that it gives back to the values of the report to text fields to me.
The problem is that one of text fields this disabled by the Conditions and the Javascript does not let to me stick the value that I bring.

The documentation you're referring to says the following:
"These restrictions are not present for SWF content running in the stand-alone Flash Player or in AIR. AIR supports an interactive full-screen mode that allows keyboard input."
It mentions nothing about running full screen in a projector executable file which is what you are trying to do. The stand alone flash player is usually an executable file in the flash development environment that is used for testing and debugging flash content for the developer. For distributing your app I would think that there would be good reason to prevent text input in full screen projector files for the security reasons. You should probably look at distributing your intended content some other way or ask for special permission to do AIR. Text Fields Not Showing in Design or Live View

I have run into a problem trying to create a simple contact form through Dreamweaver CS6. I have two text fields for Name & Email, and 1 text area for Comments. The issue I am running into is that the text fields are not showing in Design or Live view. I have set-up all variables required for the server for the form to work... but that should not have any effect on the text field showing... I tried uploading my contact page with the same result of no text fields showing...
What is really laughable is that the "text area" I placed in my form for Comments shows up in Design & Live view just fine. I am thinking that I am missing something, but just do not know what exactly. The form is styled through CSS.

Are there other variables I should be thinking about in the rest of my site? I am using a fluid grid layout. I have CSS for desktop, tablet, and phone devices. I also have a primary CSS file that imports all three. The sites structure was done by using <header>, <article>, <footer>, and of course <div> tags.
Has anyone ever experienced the "text fields" not showing up before? Is it a simple fix as reinstalling Dreamweaver CS6? Finally, another thing I should mention is that I did have a previous version of Dreamweaver on my comp, which was CS3. I did not uninstall that before installing the newer version. I assumed (and I could be wrong here) that it would automatically replace the older version.
I apoligize for it being long winded, but I am looking for some help on this issue...

I primarily work through code view, and currently working on quite a few projects kind of makes your eyes miss the small errors.

5 check boxes are A, B, C, D, E and 3 text fields are Text1, Text2, Text3.
If any check box is marked, corresponding value(A,B,C,D or E) will be goes into Text1, Text2 or Text3.
It may be output like this

Yes A, B, C, D, E are check box. When I replace to this.getField("A").value == "1", it does not work. I have placed in the On Focus. I am not sure where is the perfect.
Actuall issue is that there are 5 checkbox name A, B, C,D,E. and 3 text field named Text1.0, Text1.1, Text1.2.
If user check A, textfield automatically filled with "A" (into any one text Field of three text Field)
If user check C, textfield automatically filled with "C" (into any one text Field of three text Field)
If user check D, textfield automatically filled with "D" (into any one text Field of three text Field)
So output may be like this:
Tex1.0= A
Tex1.1= C
Tex1.2= D
again if user uncheck A, corresponding value will be removed automatically. How can I do this?
