Text replication

Can anybody tell me what should happen to texts during replication?
I have a transaction type that is determining texts from a standard text in CRM, but when it gets to R/3 the text is being redetermined.
How should the texts be configured in R/3 for replicated transactions? Should the text have no access sequence? What if the text is being determined by a routine? Should the routine first check to see if the text is blank before redetermining?
Thanks for your help,
Stuart

Stuart,
I assume you are referring to SD orders.
The best way is to assign an access sequence with only the text ID itself. So suppose you use a header text C001 on the CRM order, the access sequence on the SD order header text C001 should contain VBBK and C001.
This way the text is replicated to R/3, also when you forget to enter a text during creation of the CRM order and add it at a later stage. If you do not have an access sequence the text is replicated only when there is a text filled in when you replicated the CRM order the first time.
Hope this helps. (Points if it does.)
regards,
Nico

  • Customer Master text replication

    Hi all,
    does anyone know if it is possible to replicate R/3 customer master texts across to CRM via the standard customer master replication to CRM?
    regards
    Jens

    Hi Jens,
    Yes, it's possible.
    At R/3 side, using t-code SM30, configure table vision V_CRMTXTID to map the customer texts ID's of R3, with the CRM ones.
    Something like this (entry example):
    KNA1 0002 'some description' -> BUT000 0002
    Kind regards,

  • Interaction record text replication issue

    Hi,
    I am trying to create contacts on BCT0 for some of the newly created class and actions.
    I am able to create them in ISU and it is getting replicated to CRM as Interaction records.
    However for some of the contacts , the text of class and action (Class/Action name) is being displayed in IR and for some of them it is not showing.
    I have mapped the code group and code settings similar to the class and action of ISU.
    Only the class and action TEXT is misssing in the IR for some of the contacts (Class/Action combination). Checked the filter settings of the adapter and it is fine.
    Could anyone share lights on what i am missing here? (We havent implemented any BADI's).
    Thanks,
    Arun

    Hello Arun,
    Did you fill in the IR description in the mapping table in ISU? This is in the spro somewhere like >> utilities >> customer service >> crm integration >> contact replication.
    Regards
    Nicolas.

  • PO Header Text Replication from SRM 4.0 to ECC 5.0

    Hi All,
    I am trying to replicate PO Header Text from SRM 4.0 to ECC 5.0 with Extended Classic Scenario.
    Process of PO Header Text Entering in SRM PO:
    1. We create PO from Sourcing.
    2. We go to Processing POs and then we enter under Header Data -> Documents -> Internal note.
    I added code in BBP_PO_INBOUND_BADI (method: BBP_MAP_BEFORE_BAPI) related to header text mapping. I think this BAdI will not be triggered while processing PO from SRM.
    Please let me know the procedure or sugeestions to replicate header text from SRM 4.0 to ECC 5.0.
    Thanks,
    Sudarsan

    Hi

    Re: Vendor/Internal note text for Confirmation of PO in SRM
    Internal note can be passed to R/3 PO. It is standard. check it up.
    Internal note must copy to another follow on document but why it is not copying in to your backend PO.
    You can try oss notes .. I will update you if i find any notes

  • SQL Server 2008 R2 Express Edition and Full Text Indexing

    Hello, we have recently upgraded our web front end server from SQL Server 2005 (Standard Edition) to SQL Server 2008 R2 Express Edition (in conjuction with upgrading our main production servers to SQL 2008 R2 Standard). We have 12 Databases on our production
    SQL Server that are replicated to our web frontend server to the SQL Express instance. One of these databases has a FULL TEXT INDEX. The production database is running the Adobe iFilter version 9 64Bit. The FULL TEXT CATALOG has been created and populated
    and performs searches as intended. However, upon replication, when using the search option on our web page based on that PDF iFilter, it no longer works. After examining the properties of the FULL TEXT CATALOG, we note that the Catalog size on the subscriber
    end is 0MB in size (whereas it is 3MB on the Publication side). Also the Unique Key Count on the subscriber side is '1' whereas on the publisher side it is 30,000+. After examining the FT Indexing logs on the subscriber side shows an error: "Warning: No appropriate
    filter was found during full-text index population" On the subscriber side which is running Windows Server 2003 and SQL Server 2008 R2 Express Edition, Adobe Reader 10.1.1 is installed (all 32Bit) with the Adobe iFilter AcroRdIF.dll. When running the SELECT
    * from sys.fulltext_document_types T-Sql statement, the list returned shows the PDF filter to be installed and shows the correct path. Under the System Environment Variables, that path has also been installed (from previous recommendations in researching this
    problem). After numerous reboots, service restarts and re-attempts to get the FT Daemon to crawl - no success. Can anyone please help with this problem? Is there something I am missing? In an attempt to work around this problem thinking there might be a version
    conflict between the 64Bit version on the publisher and the 32Bit version on the subscriber, I disabled the replication of the FULL TEXT CATALOG and tried to create a new catalog on the subscriber with the same results. Thank you for your answers in advance
    - Fustrated! Sorry, somehow this got posted originally under Server Design

    Hello Jeff hope your still out there.  I wrote this question 2 years ago and upgraded to SQL Express with advanced services.  Full Text replication worked until last week.  We are operating in a virtual environment.  My publisher box
    is a Windows Server 2008 R2 (64bit) with SQL Server Standard Edition.  My Web front subscriber is a Windows 2003 R2 (32bit) Server with SQL Server 2008 R2 Express SP1 with Advanced Services. Now the exact same thing is happening after 2+ years.
    We are looking for possible updates that might have broken this but I am stretching that.  Any clues please?  32bit vs. 64bit?

  • Replication of text determination (business partner) between ERP and CRM

    Hello,
    in ERP I have maintained a text determination procedure Z1 and assigned it to the text object "KNA1". The textprocedure include the Text ID's "Z011" and "Z020".
    In CRM exist the text object "KNA1" and "BUT000". I have customized a a text determination procedure "Z1" and the same Text ID's as in ERP, to booth text objects.
    The text ID's don't be replicated, no matter i maintain it in CRM or ERP.
    Can anybody tell me, how can I replicate the content of the text ID's? What is the relevant text object in CRM?
    Thanks for help
    Regards
    Andreas

    Andrea,
    There are objects for replicating the data between CRM and CDB.
    CRM_DNL_TTXOB  and CRM_DNL_TTXID.
    But none for replication between R/3 and CRM. WE need to maintain it manually.
    Regards,
    Aj.

    Hello,
    If you see error descriptioon it gives access denied so basically it is because of some access issue.I guess You must be using some domin account for installation make sure it is  added as local administrator also instead of using NT Authority network
    service  as SQL server service account use local system account .
    Below link would help
    http://serverfault.com/questions/212135/access-is-denied-error-installing-sql-server-2008-on-windows-7
    You can also browse to setup.exe file and RK on it and select run as administrator

  • Oracle Text and Replication

    We need to use an Oracle Text index on an application table in a read-only materialised-view replicated environment. The Oracle Text index needs to exist at both the master site and the materialised-view site.
    We see two possible alternatives:
    (1) Replicate read-only copies of the Oracle Text Index tables and indexes to the materialised view site, in addition to replication of the application table.
    or
    (2) Replicate only the master application table and create local instances of the Oracle Text index at both the master and materialised view sites.
    Which method is best? Any experience, advice or references that you can provide would be much appreciated.
    Many thanks for your help,

  • Vendor text of PO line item replication from SRM to ECC.

    All experts,
    Users are entering the more informations for individual line item in to Vendor text field available in to SRM Purchase order.
    Client requirement is to replicate the Vendor text from PO in SRM to PO in ECC.
    Right now system is replicating PO with all information except text.
    How I can achieve it. Any help will be highly appreciate.

  • CRM/ISU: Notes (or Texts) at Connection Object Level and replication

    Hi there,
    I am trying to replicate to CRM (and back to ISU) the Text objects linked against the Connection Object in ISU.
    The idea is to have two texts area in the Connection Object in the WebIC that can be replicated back to the related ISU's ones.
    The requirement is to replicate those texts (multiline texts, textarea, notes) linked against the Connection Object from CRM to ISU.
    The connection object in CRM is a "casted" Individual Object that can be linked against Notes (or Texts), isn't it?
    So the IObjects can have a Notes Assignment Block.
    The problem is that from an WebIC point of view the Notes Assignment block obviously are not shown.
    Have someone of you done something like that before? Any idea?
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Carlo.

  • New table/column in publication breaks replication

    Hi,
    SQL 2008R2
    I added a control table to a database that is being replicated to a different server.  The tabled called [__Updated] has one column called [DateUpdated] of type datetime2.  I manually created the table in the subscriber, added the new table/column

    Replication is considered to be a mature technology which means there are little changes. Oracle publishing is gone and updateable subcriptions are gone. Other than that it is the same.

  • A way to fudge 3d objects/text

    I've kind of found a way of fudging some 3d objects, but it gets really render intensive as it is based on replicating the heck out of things. This also works with text.
    Let's say we start off with a circle we created in Motion. For this walkthrough I'm going to assume you just opened a new project and and are working with a layer whose Z position is zero. Hit replicate it and set it to be a 3D replicator with the 3D checkbox. Set the group it is contained in to be 3D, and change the replicator's shape type to "Line". Adjust the start and end points of the replicator so that all X and Y values are zero, the starting Z point is set to "-1", and the ending Z point is set to negative however deep you want the shape to be, minus one. You don't have to use -1 for the starting Z point, but it needs to be whatever the Z position of the original layer was minus one. Then set the number of points to be from 2-4 times the amount between your start and end points.
    Now we're going to add the shading. Show your original layer that you replicated, and go to the properties tab of it. Check the Drop Shadow checkbox, and set the color to black. The distance must be set to zero, the opacity should be roughly between 5 and 25 depending on how vivid of shadows you want, and I usually set the blur between 0.5 and 2.
    You can go back and adjust the color mode of the replicator to colorize if you want even more differentiation between the front and side faces. Try using the Scale and Scale End controls for distorting cylinders or rectangular prisms. Try thinking of things from different orientations. For example, I needed a 3D audio fader, which seemed impossible until I realized I was looking at it from the wrong angle, and then replicated it sideways instead. Try adding a back to the shapes too. This also works for replicating entire groups.
    Problems using this technique develop when you get closer to viewing the pseudo-3d object from a point that is in the same Z range as the layers are stacked in. As in, you can see through it and tell that its made up of stacked layers. This is less noticeable when you have more points in the replicator. The faked lighting is not really accurate to any lighting you set up, but it does give the 3D effect
    The replicators really start to add up fast as far as processing power, but I think Motion has some sort of glitch so that it can only handle so many layers, as instead of massive render times I started getting crashes and it started just ignoring them after I had about 1,500 or so replication points and layers. When working with those amounts of replications, its a good idea to keep Activity Monitor (in Applications/Utilities) open so you can tell if Motion has just stalled out and is refusing to render it, and isn't just thinking.
    Here are two examples of things I've used this on:
    http://img292.imageshack.us/img292/5201/fader3dci5.jpg
    http://img301.imageshack.us/img301/5708/cornerkickqd1.jpg
    I feel dirty just showing this because of how brute-force it is, but I hope it helps someone out. If anyone figures out a way to make it look more realistic, please share!
    Sorry if everyone knows this already, and for the massive post...
    -Max

    Yeup, exactly the same method using the replicator in my 3D text tutorial:-

  • Error During Replication of Data Source in BI 7.0 SAPKW70017

    Hi Experts
    We have recently imported Support Pack SAPKW70017 into our quality
    system. The Quality System Client setting is
    -  No changes Allowed
    -  No change to Repository and cross-client Customizing objects
    After upgrade when ever we are trying to replicate data sources we are
    getting the error. "Changes to Repository or cross-client Customization
    not permitted".
    This error was certainly not there before updating to SAPKW70017.
    Interestingly if we change client setting to
    - Automatic Recording of Changes.
    - Changes to the Repository and cross-client Customizing permitted
    and try to replicate data source. System does not prompt for any change
    request.
    To overcome this, we tried to import the 'data source in BW' via change
    request from development. The replication completes successfully but
    time stamp does not matches with source. And we end up in
    error "DataSource 0FI_AR_4 has to be replicated (time stamp, see long
    text)" in scheduler.
    Please advise.
    Thanks & Regards
    Sachchida Nand Dubey

    hi,
    I am looking forward to implement SAPKW70017, I  need to know the CONS of SP17, what was the reason which made you implement SP17, just to have updated Version of SP or did you face with any problems and decided to update the SP? what was the previous SP which you had,
    We have problems in F4 search help when running queries, SAP asked us to implement latest which is SP17, but wanted to make sure what would be the CONS before we do it, we are having SP15 in BI 7.0
    Please update the post for this.

  • Failover is work, but Session replication doesn't work!

    Dear all,
              My Cluster can failover, but can't session replicate....
              I start up the 2 WLS 6.0 and the Web Server, then I visit
              http://web_server_ip/myWebApp/SessionServlet serveral times, then the
              counter variable in the session raise up, then I down the "target" WLS, then
              I try http://web_server_ip/myWebApp/SessionServlet now, I can call but the
              counter restart.... so the session seems not yet replicated. what I can
              do...?!
              My Setup: I setup a Netscape Web Server 3.6.3 as the proxy using libproxy.so
              with the cluster setting, and use 2 WLS 6.0 (both are running in 7001,7002)
              as the Application Server Cluster (WLCluster). one WLS is on Unix Machine
              and the other in on a NT. I set the 2 WLSs: the Primary Group is
              "WL_rep_group1", and set the secondary is "WL_rep_group2".
              Deployment: I deploy the application "myWebApp" (.war) on the servers unix
              and nt, adn also deploy to the cluster WLCluster.
              I deploy the examplesWebApp to my created domain "demo", and modify the
              weblogic.xml:
              <weblogic-web-app>
              <session-descriptor>
              <session-param>
              <param-name>PersistentStoreType</param-name>
              <param-value>replicated</param-value>
              </session-param>
              </session-descriptor>
              <jsp-descriptor>
              <jsp-param>
              <param-name>

              </param-name>
              <param-value>

              </param-value>
              </jsp-param>
              <jsp-param>

              </param-value>
              </jsp-param>
              </jsp-descriptor>
              </weblogic-web-app>
              so ... anything I did wrong, so the WLS can't do Session replication??!!
              Please Help or Comment!
              Thanks in advance!

    Dear Vinod and Kevin,
              Some more information that I think it may help.
              First, I want to correct 1 point in my previous message, the Replication
              Group is "WLRepGroup1" and the Preferred Secondary Group is "WLRepGroup2"
              for the 2 machine WLSs.
              Second, I found that the Multicast Communication is not functioning becoz
              the switch of my office block the 224.0.0.1's communication, so now I added
              a hub for this 2 machine, as a result the multicast is wokring... at least
              pass the java utils.MulticastTest....
              Thrid, after the mutlicast work, I try the SessionServlet, it is working at
              beginning... but after some more clicks, one server will cause the following
              error (this time crash on x.y.z.b--NT machine)....
              -------- (a long list, the IPs are replaced: x.y.z.a UNIX machine, x.y.z.b
