The i cloud in my two iMacs shows different amount of data, I don´t see the contents iA writer in one of them at all

The problem is that I live in two flats and have an Imac in both. In mys work I use a lot an iPad with Ia Writer which I also have in my iMacs. In the other Mac I can look at the contents of the iA writer, in the other one not. The reason seems to be that the iCloud in the other one is full and I don´t want to buy more space, in the other one it is not full.
how can I syncronize the iCloud?

No, it is question of the same account. The language makes my definitions inaccurate. The difference is not big but enough - some 400Mb. The iMacs are so far from each other that I can´t check them the same day.
The reason for starting to use iA Writer is that the notes in my iPad is somehow corrupted. But that´s an other question. The notes in it are up to date in both computers, and they are mainly made by iPad.

when the user logs into the GUI he can see the whole screen containing 10 inputfields but in the portal one user is able to see the whole of the page while the ohter is able to see only the first 7 input screen.....
why is this happening...
is it related to some undocumented check over the content or it is a problem of how the system was defined over portal landscape in system administation....

The iPad and related software is designed to sync with only one computer. I suggest transferring the photos from one of your iMacs to the other so that all photos are on one Mac. Same for all other files you want to sync over.
To get those AppleWorks files to the iPad you'll have to determine if Pages will open them. If it will then use the file sharing feature of iTunes to copy them to Pages on your pad.
If Pages will not open the AppleWorks files directly you'll have to save them in some format that Pages will read. These include but may not be limited to Pages and Word formats.

Have you tried HELP in FINDER? If you open HELP and enter 'displays' in the field in the upper right hand corner you will get a list of topics on setting up monitors. Specifically read 'Setting up multiple displays to show the same image' and 'Setting up multiple displays as an extended desktop'.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Step 1
For this step, the title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
          SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
          View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
In the top right corner of the Console window, there's a search box labeled Filter. Initially the words "String Matching" are shown in that box. Enter the name of the crashed application or process. For example, if Safari crashed, you would enter "Safari" (without the quotes.)
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.

In the Console window, select
          DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ User Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of crash reports. The name of each report starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report related to the process in question. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a crash, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful.

Easiest thing to do is put the app on the non updated computers in the trash and then copy the new app on to a flash drive and copy into the app folders on the other two computters.

By default the photos will be sorted by the date modified.

Sure, as soon as you open iTunes with the new iPod connected, it will have a "Welcome to your New iPod" screen. Just choose Restore from backup.

Connect two iMacs in order to exchange data

I am about to buy a new iMac and would like to connect my old iMac via wire to exchange data. I do not want to use the migration assistant as I want to clean up my data. So is there a way to connect these two computers in a way that the old one appears like an external device in the finder of the new one?
Sorry if this questions has been asked before but I have been browsing the web for the past 90 minutes in order to find an answer to this question - no luck so far or I am just searching with the wrong keywords.

There is a way to do what you want: Target Disk mode.
The only thing you need is a FireWire 800 cable and a Thunderbolt to FireWire adapter for the new iMac. After connecting both iMacs with the Thunderbolt cable, hold the T key while your old iMac is starting up to start up in Target Disk mode, so the old iMac's hard drive will show up in the Finder sidebar of the new iMac as an external drive. There you can transfer the files you want to your new iMac.
If you have got an old iMac with FireWire 400 instead, everything is much more difficult, because you may need a FireWire 400 to 800 cable too.
Another way would be to connect both Macs to the same network and transfer your files over Wi-Fi, but it is a long and slow process

DNS migrated- can see webpage on all computers except two iMacs w/different

The webhost for our website had a hardware failure a couple of days ago, and migrated to a different server. Within hours, I could see the website on my pc at work (Firefox) and my friend could see it on her pc w/IE. But at home, no matter how many times I reset Safari, or restarted my iMac (10.4.8), I got the error page from the webhost- for over 30 hours. It finally came up when I got up at 6:30 this morning, then another friend emailed me and said he couldn't get the website (at 11:00 a.m. this morning) using a four year old eMac with Internet Explorer- even after clearing the cache. Is this just a Mac thing?

It has nothing to do with your Mac, but your ISP's DNS servers.
All DNS servers will cache DNS data and serve requests from the cache. The zone file will include a tag that tells DNS servers how long to cache the data for.
What you're experiencing is most likely an effect of that cache. For example, if your DNS is set to cache for one day and user A performs an initial lookup via ISP A's DNS server at 11:59pm then all subsequent requests to the same DNS server will return the same result for the next 24 hours. Even if you change the zone file at 12:00am the ISP's DNS server believes it has a valid data and will return the same result until the 24 hour timeout has expired.
In the meantime if User B performs an initial lookup via ISP B's DNS server at 12:01am he'll get the new zone data with the new address.
This conflict (where two different servers claim to have valid responses that are different) is known as the DNS propogation delay and it's largely out of your control since it's affected by servers outside of your domain.
The only thing you can do is to lower the timeout for your zone so that remote servers cache the data for shorter periods of time, with the corresponding increase in traffic to your DNS servers since the ISP's DNS servers will make more frequent requests for your zone data, even if it hasn't changed.

Whoever told you that was misinformed or lying. Those applications are sold separately for the iOS platform and the Mac platform.
Go to the Mac App Store to purchase Pages and Numbers for your Mac. They're $20 each. If you are running an older version of Mac OS X that can't use the Mac App Store, you can purchase install media from Apple.

Firefox is showing different amount in bank Account & Government Personal Files

Been using Firefox for few years; 2 weeks ago, I am on my Government Personal File and it shows an amount I received each month.
The amount is different from what I am actually receiving. I call the office and they are telling me that the amount I am actually receiving is correct. So I told him what I was seeing in my file, on my computer. He said no, that was a wrong amount ( difference of approx. 200.00$ on my files. He didn't have any explanation for me.
Than I logged in my Bank Account and I had the same problem; my bank amount availability is over approx. 200.00$ than my bank balance.
I changed my Browser for Internet Explorer and Chrome. I tried both browsers and everything worked correctly.
I also uninstall Firefox, shutdown the laptop and reinstall Firefox and the problem is still there.

This is strange. I am not entirely sure how the site works, however in order to make sure that there is not an issue with a cookie or a back door. Please try to forget the site from the cache by going to about:permissions and "Forgetting this site".

How do you get a new Apple ID for one of two ipads

You realize that you will not be able to share the apps that you have already purchased with the one ID on the iPad that you want to use with a new ID, don't you? Apps, music, books, movies .... All purchases are tied to the ID that was used to make the purchase.
my advice is don't do it. If there is some real compelling reason why you need to do this like you are giving the iPad to someone else, that's another story.

Unfortunately, if an iCloud backup is incomplete you can't access any of the data in it. The only way to access anything in the backup is to restore the entire backup, which can't be done if it is incomplete.

Reading the contents of a folder and store them in the database using 6i

I'm using developer 6i and oracle 8i,now am building personnel database,every employee has many certificates (graduate certificates,post-graduate certificates and work experience certificates),I want to scan all these certificates,put them in a folder ,give the form (employee form ) the path to the folder and the form read the contents of the folder (3 or 4 image files for example) dynamically and store them in the database.
All examples I came across explain how to load a defined image file name into oracle database,but what if the image file name is not defined (i,e dynamically generated by the scanner).
Hope I explained the case.

I read the example and thought it could be modified to retreive a directory listing. There is a way to do what you want, but you will have to check to see if you have the D2kwutil.pll installed with Forms 6i. If you do not have it installed you can download the pll from OTN. This Forms Library will only work on Windows, so if you want this functionality on a non-windows machine, it will not work. Read the D2KWUTIL.html for details on how to use this library. There are also some good posts here in the forums on how to use this library. Just search on D2KWUTIL.PLL.
