The spanning-tree add strange value when I create new Vlans

Hi,
On all switchs access, the spanning-tree add strange value when I create new Vlans from Distrib Layer,
and no association is created with any interface with spanning-tree vlan 700, see below in this exemple,
until I reboot the switch.
somebody already saw this values ?

The ORA-00942 is okay because there is no existing object. But what stuck me is the ORA-01921 error which may indicate that this might not be a new database.

Are there any existing databases on this server? Have you tried to create it on other machine?I searched on Metalink too and found Doc ID: 237486.1 ORA-29807 Signalled While Creating Database using DBCA which say that eroror could be ignored. You may want to review that as well.

Sorry about that. The help pages have been updated for the new "Add a device" process in Firefox 4, but the add-on for Firefox 3.6 is still using an older, different process.

Or if you prefer to stick with Firefox 3.6, then instead of clicking "Add a device" on your computer, press the "Connect" button on your phone or other device, then click on "I am not near my computer..." and enter your email address, password, and sync key. I read somewhere that all the ports of a switch will participate in STP by default. Is there any way to remove the STP operation on host ports ?

All ports participate in Spanning Tree by default.
Spanning tree is there to block redundant L2 paths in order to prevent loops. All ports are capable of causing a loop so you would not want to turn spanning tree off, in fact I don't think you can switch it off on a per port basis. You can switch it off on a per vlan basis.
You are already using portfast which allows host ports to transition into a forwarding state without going through the listening and learning states of STP. If you switch off STP on a port, you risk the chance of a L2 loop.

Yes I know what you mean about it cluttering the thread and for personal emails it is better without the signature. However this relates to sending business emails from an iPhone so I need the signature present on every email.

In alv grid while adding new row, i want some 2-3 column values to come by default from already existing row in grid.
i am getting new row in internal table with 2-3 default values and rest columns blank on adding new row in alv grid
but the entire row is coming blank, not able to get the default values in new row
how can i refresh the grid so that default values come on adding new row.

Use this in Interactive section even if you are doing simple ALV.
DATA:
lv_ref_grid TYPE REF TO cl_gui_alv_grid.
CLEAR : gv_tcode.
*-- to ensure that only new processed data is displayed
IF lv_ref_grid IS INITIAL.
CALL FUNCTION 'GET_GLOBALS_FROM_SLVC_FULLSCR'
IMPORTING
e_grid = lv_ref_grid.
ENDIF.
IF NOT lv_ref_grid IS INITIAL.
CALL METHOD lv_ref_grid->check_changed_data.
ENDIF.
THis will solve your problem.

Project Server default groups when we create new project site

Hi,
When we create new project site in project server 2013 in site settings page some default groups are already present with some default permissions and some default members.
Interesting thing is that the members of these group are same when ever we create a new site.
Can you please help me understand, what these groups are, how they get created and how they are having some default members. Where are these members coming from.
Our project server is having project server permission mode.

I briefly searched the MSTechNet but was not able to find a succinct article on this point for 2013, if someone has that, can they pls share. However, if you read most of the articles under this area,

In 2013, for every Project Site (connected SharePoint site as it is now called in 2013), 2 Site specific SharePoint security groups are created: "SiteProjectName Project Managers (Project Web App Synchronized)"
& "SiteProjectName Team Members (Project Web App Synchronized)".
And Web Administrators (Project Web App Synchronized) is also created.
In addition, the default SharePoint groups for: Site Members, Site Owners, Site Visitors are present but remain empty.
Project Server controls the creation of these groups and the membership. The membership is a "formula" that goes something like this: If the user is the Project Owner then put them in the PM group.
If the user is a PWA Administrator, then put them in the Administrators group. If the user is a team member on the project, then put them in the Team Members group. There are other factors like RBS that are used in the formula.
Reading the descriptions of the groups reveals that for Project Managers =
Users who have Published this project or who have Save Project Permission in PWA.
For Team Members = Users who have assignments in this project in PWA.
I believe these are the old 2010 descriptions and actually Team Members = anyone who is part of the Build Team even if no assignments.
Further complicating matters is that if you are a site collection admin, you will see all the groups, for PWA and for all the project site (b/c you are actually seeing the site collection groups).
But only the ones mentioned above apply specifically to this project site.

Why the contract data is not modifiable when I create a order

I have already assigned the Contract Profile to a sale order type in the Sale order type definition, and the contract profile has been set correct.
When I create a order by this order type (Ive tried both copy and create a new order type), I cant modify the contract data from Goto>Header>Contract data,

contract is an agreemet made following which we create a sales order called a release order. so, we only refer that and release whats being agreed as part of contract.
Let us look at this situation from a business point of view. so once you create a contract profile and assign to sales order, we cant modify it at the sales order level.

When i create new layer from background the new layer then covers up the background. It previously did not do this.

The problem with Actions is that as a new user, you are not going to know what steps are happening when the Action runs. The action could be deleting the background layer, for instance. Is the action one that came with Photoshop? If you sourced it from somewhere else, can you give us a link?
There is also some ambiguity in the language you use. Not your fault. But when you say 'create new layer from background' to me that probably means you are copying the background layer. If that is not the case, could you give a more detailed description of the steps you are taking?
Do you know how to upload a screen shot? If you are using Windows 7 or 8, you can use the Snipping tool to drag across your image and layer panel. Save the image, and upload to this thread using the little camera icon.

How do I make it so my client can edit Links in business catalyst when they create new pages?

Okay so essentially I have built a site in Muse uploaded to business catalyst and I've setup a site template so that the client can create new pages as each new course arrives, but how do I get the link from the homepage to link to the new page? basically I need the link to be editable.
What would be ideal is a kind of portfolio layout where there is a thumbnail and a new page but for my client to be able to add a new project adn it would create a thumbnail on the homepage and a new page that he can edit. Does anyone know of something like that possible in Business catalyst?

Editing with Business Catalyst only works with image or text editing , we cannot add new page or page items using in browser editing.
However, you can manage the site from BC end when your client and login to admin and add pages, modify etc, but if you re-publish the site from Muse then then changes will be overwritten.

Does the specific user, u want to send the mail, keeps changing?
At the time of creation of a DIR if reqd value is maintained in User Responsible then he'll get the mail in his SAP Inbox stating "The Document for which u r responsible has been created/modified".
For this certain linkages in workflow needs to be activated.
If you want to send the mail in specific format with some more details, then u may use messages functionality of DMS in which mails are sent based on Document Type & Status combination.
Another option is using workflow. For this u need to define a simple workflow task which can be triggered based on status. you need to maintain this task in Status settings.

When to create new authorization objects

I am learning SAP Security.
I have one question , what is the necessity of creating new authroization field and object , when SAP gives a huge list of objects /fields.
Is there any reason behind like, whenever a customised transaction is created, a new authorization object or filed has to be created?

Trick is to find not only a standard authorization object with the same field you are looking for, but an object already assigned to the users with those roles with the same semantic for all it's fields - so that you can simply reuse the existing concept which is also assigned to the sets of users.
Often you will find "base" function modules and classes you can use to do all that work for you. Just call them at the correct location in the code and dont forget to check the return code and react to it.
If you use BAPI APIs to access or process data, then many of them make these same semantically correct checks "out of the box".

Access Denied when Exporting, Creating new folder.

My normal workflow on some occasions is that I work on images then making a selection, I will export then to a folder on my desktop. I normally hit the Export and on the pop up I click on create new folder and export the images to the folder.
Since the new update, when I try to create a folder it gives me Access Denied. If I create the folder first, there is no problem.

takeown /f {Folder Path}
cacls { Folder Path} /G administrators:F
Note: please replace {Folder Path} with the real folder path.
After that, please try to delete the folder again.
