I wouldn't count on using air print simply because it's limited to certain manufacturers and models
Printer companies can have apps of their own (must be a wifi printer though), or can have work arounds of their own.
There are also third party printing apps out there. I used print n share but there are others.
However all apps are skinnied down versions of computer programs so if there's any formatting you may have issues replicating it.
I think the safest bet is to carry a flash drive or e-mail that file to someone and have them print it for you.

Flexibility with Enterprise SOA - script issue

Hi All,
I have a Discovery System v3 system and I am testing the "Flexibility with Enterprise SOA" out-of-the-box script. On page 10 of the script it instructs you to run trans SPROXY and then select Software Component u201CESA ECC-SE 600u201D. I donu2019t see ESA ECC-SE 600 listed. Since this system is v3 the ECC system has EHP 2 installed so the version of ECC-SE installed is 602 but I donu2019t even see this version either. Any ideas why I don't see ESA ECC-SE listed? The version of the script is v2. Is this maybe the problem since the system version is v3? Should the v2 script still be vvalid for a v3 system?

I can't tell you why the SC's are not listed anymore as they are part of all delivered systems, but this exercise works with ECC SE 602 as well.

Why did my calendar view suddenly change? Using iOS 7.1 and I've been using this version for a few weeks with no problem with my calendar. Now the view has changed and I can't view a list mode without seeing the month too

Thanks for the question. You simply need to go back to Day/Week view, then tap the list-view icon once more.

A summary of this forum for perspective Nokia buye...

I have been on this forum for about 2 weeks (not long I admit) ever since the release of "free" navigation for (your) Nokia phone.
Since then I have observed the following:
Nokia blatantly refuse to acknowledge or comment on issues which make them look bad, to whit;
- Nokia maps not working with BlueTooth
- Nokia Maps failing to update on certain handsets
- A time/date bug causing phones to crash when using Nokia Maps
- Nokia voice files failing to install due to an LUA error
- Nokia's refusal to comment on whether certain phones will be supported
- Nokia's refusal to answer questions directly either on or off the record
- Numerous complaints by customers mislead by Nokia's blatant lie that Nokia Maps are now free for phone.
- Nokia's license servers failing to work when a license is purchased.
- Nokia's license servers rolling licenses forward to version 3, and then being unable to work with version 2 when any of the previously mentioned issues arise.
Nokia have further seen more than 40 users post to say they will never buy another Nokia (myself included) PURELY regarding the dishonesty they have shown with their handling of the maps situation. Nokia have still not commented, nor stated publicly their intentions with regards to these issues.
Nokia have, in short, angered their (once) loyal customer base and driven numerous people away for the opportunity to (falsly) advertise free navigation on their phones.
I feel the above is a fairly apt description of the occurences of this board over the last 2 weeks.
Does anyone else want to point out something I have missed/agree/disagree with me?
Please post your (reasoned and intelligently ONLY!) oppinions here, and lets see if we might be able to get through to Nokia.

Err, if you post here, you really shouldnt expect Nokia to reply to you since this is aUSER-TO-USER FORUM. The Nokia hired moderators here arent even technicians who could answer some of the questions. They're just here to enforce forum rules. Some Nokia employees do come around from time to time, but that's so rare as to us not expect them here at any given time. If you want an official Nokia response to your queries, the only way would be to mail them through the contact us button at the top of the page.
As for shamelessly ignoring questions regarding n95 and n96, lets see. They announced that they were working on the maps to be compatible on other s60v3FP2 phones to be available this year, hopefully within the first half (n96 included). This has been already answered before. Then somebody comes in and posts the same question again. It is answered. A few days later someone else asks it again. Personally, some people here do get tired of answering the same question again and again sometimes at intervals of a few hours of each other. Most of the people here who answer your questions arent Nokia employees and are in no way obligated to answer your questions if they have already answered it like 5 or six times. I've seen here posts regarding the new answer key for the v40 5800 right next to each other asking the same thing, and one of the threads was answered.

I have to Camino just to use this forum, Safari will not work with it any more.
Please do not move this topic to the safari room because its not safari. Safari is fine on just about every other web page I visit, except apples own!
Problems:
Viewing next page threads. Usually you can get the first page up but going to the next page no go.
Getting to 'your posts' Usually won't load.
Posting a reply. Easily the most frustrating problem. You can sometimes fly through the fourm to the reply, type your reply and nothing, it refuses to load, either safari bombs out saying it could not connect to server or a new pages loads on the web site saying there was an error. also if you click refresh or stop whilst trying to post the mssage the 'post' button is now disabled. The only way to do anything is to copy the text launch Camino and do it from there where it works every single time.
It is the most frustrating problem and makes using the forums very difficult.
If I am the only one fair enough, tell me what I need to do to fix the problem.

discussions may sometimes be slow for an hour or so (at which point the opening page of discussions will eventually apologize for the inconvenience, back on line soon...) but your description looks like a cache problem.
Try OnyX freeware to do some cleanup and see if that helps.

There were problems with the correct time display for postings, and based on another recent post this doesn't seem to have been fixed. My advice... don't worry about it.

This forum has been spamming me with emailed articles. I had checked to make certain that I had all threads marked "answered" but nevertheless was being bombarded by threads apparently unrelated to any questions or comments I may have posted...at a rate of about ten a day. In desperation, I rigged Apple Mail to send all Apple Discussion mails to trash.
Also, I changed Apple ID email. I can't seem to make it change in "My Settings" in this forum. It has changed in every other Apple related web site.
Any ideas would be welcome.

Whether you could qualify I can't say. And as Lawrence said, even without a contract the plans from the carriers are expensive, so you will need to consider whether you or your mother can afford the monthly ree.

Travel to UK with iPhone next week. A few questions if you please!

My daughter is going to visit the UK next week. She will be bringing her iPhone. I have bought her a plug adapter that does not convert voltage because it is my understanding that the Apple adaptor will take 220 fine. Also, the data roaming has been turned off. She has been told not to try to use the internet unless she has WIFI access. I will call ATT on Monday to buy international calling, which brings the roaming charges down a little, but not much.
Now the questions: Will the phone work in the UK reliably? How the heck do you dial an american phone number from the UK Let's say you want to dial 714-555-1212 from the UK, what prefixes are needed when you dial. I don't want her to place her calls with operator assistance! Any other comments would be greatly appreciated, TIA.

When you put numbers in a mobile phone, it's always best to enter internationally formatted numbers.
For the US, that's +1 714 555 1212 for the number you mentioned, or for a UK number such as 01312 345678, it'd be +44 1312 345 678 (leave out the first '0'). Obviously, +1 is the US country code, +44 is the UK. Check out this wikipedia link for other countries: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Listof_international_callprefixes
The iPhone - even the US iPhone, works fine in the UK, as it's a GSM phone (the technology used for pretty much every country's predominant cell networks except the US). Mine's been without issue.
One thing that nobody thinks of, but everyone could possibly need - emergency services. It's a common misconception in the UK that 911 works, but it will not. Remember to use 999, or the European-wide (and world wide for GSM phones) 112
Oh yeah, and last but not least, visit Scotland, especially the highlands.

Yeah, I've been struggling with this new forum, too. I've been using NNTP for so many years that I can do it in my sleep. Web Forums will *always* be slower than NNTP. It's just a fact of the implementation.
But, I am slowly coming around. Here are some things that I have learned:
Start by going to Your stuff > profile > Preferences. Change the View to "Threaded" so you can easily see what the poster was replying to if they didn't quote anything. Make sure your Time Zone is correct (mine wasn't). Subscribe to email for threads you create and respond to. You can also subscribe to email for any thread by clicking on "Receive email notifications" on the right side when reading a post. I still do all of my reading via the Web Forum interface, but receiving email notifications is enough of a time saver for me that it makes up for the slowness of the Web Forum.
I tried to get my picture to show up by adding a picture to my profile, but I discovered that you have to create an avatar.
I haven't figured out how to search these forums with google, but the builtin search works much better than anything I have ever used in any NNTP news reader.
The only implementation problem that I have found to far is that the "Next" button has stopped working a few times. Closing the browser and starting with a new window seems to fix that.

W_DAY_D is not getting Loaded with Enterprise WEEK or FISCAL week informati

HI Experts,
We have OBI Application 7.9.6.1 (FIN,SCM,PSA analytics application).
We are using Oracle EBS 12.0.6 as the source system.
we are using the Enteprise Calendar in EBS to load the W_DAY_D,but the W_DAY_D is not getting Loaded with Enterprise WEEK or FISCAL week informations,
does any one have an answer to this question,how to load theEnterprise WEEK or FISCAL week information in the W_DAY_D table??
We have raised an SR with Oracle Support & got the reply that this is a product BUG & they have internaly raised an Enhancement Request.
God knows when this will be fixed??
Can any one provide me with a work around ?/

Siri does not interpret 'This Week' vs 'Next Week' correctly

OK this seems really mixed up to me. I seems that Siri does not correctly interpret 'This Week' versus 'Next Week' correctly.
Environment information:
Phone = iPhone 4S
Language setting = 'British English' as there is, unfortunately, no 'Australian English'
Region Format = Ireland (because that is the only one which gives desired region formats € etc. bit of an issue with iOS in that it does not have customisable localisation settings like OS X)
Voice Control = English (Australia) (because that's the best English of course - my native English )
Date the Siri tests were done = Saturday, 5th of November 2011
I would consider that if one said a day (Mon, Tues, Wed etc.) this week that it would refer to the days in the current week which is Monday 31st Oct - Sunday 6th Nov. (and no, I'm not American so I don't have the unusual idea that Sunday is the first day of the week ).
Regardless of the above, if I said to Siri on Saturday 5th November, "What's the weather like next Monday" I would expect to get back weather for Monday of the next week, that is Monday 7th of November. But this is what I get...
Huh? Why does it want to go out to the next, next week?? Which is what the 14th November (14/11/2011) would be.
So then I asked for the weather for this Monday - which I would expect to be the Monday of this week which would be Monday 31st October. But Siri gives me the result for next week (as I am still in this week and this Monday has passed).
OK then Siri what if I ask you "What's the weather like Monday next week". Uhhhh you give me next week's Monday but you call it "this Monday".
Finally, if I ask Siri what is the weather like this weekend it correctly gives me this weekend - Saturday & Sunday. So it knows I think Saturday & Sunday are the weekend. If I say "what's the weather like next weekend" it says "I can't check the weather out to 13/11/2011" which is the Sunday of the next weekend. So it seems to understand weekends, not weeks.
I've been using 'this week' and 'next week' for many years, and I don't think I'm confused - so I am calling Siri confused.
Any comments, anyone able to shed light on this?

Hi Steve, that probably is true. The NeatVideo plug-in in AE and PPro is also the same - at least the technician in NeatVideo claims that. So, then it must be PremierePro itself reading or interpreting the .R3D files incorrectly.
Remembering that NV plug-in asks the host application for adjacent frames, I made also an experiment (in PPro) with how much is cut from the beginning of the clip with the following results:
- as told before, if the clip is not shortened from the beginning, NV gives good results
- if I shorten the clip only one or two frames, the result is not much worse
- if I shorten the clip ten frames, the results are getting worse
- if I shorten the clip couple of seconds, the results are getting even worse
- the more I shorten the clip from the beginning, the worse results I get...
The clip I've tried has steady movement (the camera moves steadily in one direction). Therefore, I guess PPro gives different time references for the frame played and the adjacent frames NeatVideo plug-in is asking for. If the clip has been shortened on the timeline only a bit, then they still work quite well as references for NV to be used. And the more the clip has been shortened on the timeline, the less the "asked frames" work as a good comparison. It seems as if NV plug-in asks frames based on the length of the original clip, and PPro gives frames counted from the beginning of the edited clip on the timeline. Hence the bad quality.
