Time evaluation_quota generation

We are using -ve time mgmt for time evaluation. The requirement, EL would generate if employee completed 240 days (Attendace day + previous year availed EL). If an employee complete the eligibility i.e. 240 days, so quota would be generated, calculation method:  total attendance day / 20.
For example, total attend. is 220 days + previous year availed e/l is 35 = total day 255 days, so quota would be generated on 220 days / 20 on last day of year i.e. 31.12.
please advise!

Hi ERP & Joseph,
I request both of you to please go thru the below and advise accordingly.
Actually the requirement is to entitle EL benefit an employee has to attend (employee attendance) + previous year no. of availed leave ) should be 240 days or more,
Calculation of EL will be on Employee attendance (suppose ee attendance is 220 and availed leave is 25 = 245) so employee entitle will be (220 / 20) = 11 days.
Accordingly, I have created 2 time type, one for attendance cumulation and another to assign in base entitlement.
Time Type xxxx : Attendance cumulation, checked on day, period, month and no transfer on transfer prev. year
2nd time type assign in base entitlement of EL quota.
As per valuable advised by ERP, created below PCRs.
a) Attendance cumulation
ZTE1 Personnel Calculation Rule  ZTE1
        VARSTPRSNT Employee at work
          N
            COLOP*     TIP  >TOP curr.TType
          Y
            HRS=1      Set
            ADDMBXXXX  Add to month balance
            COLOP*     TIP  >TOP curr.TType
and assigned below function, P2002
b) EL move to Attendance
ZTE2 Personnel Calculation Rule  ZTE1
        VARSTABSCE Employee absent
          N
            COLOP*     TIP  >TOP curr.TType
          Y
            OUTTPABTYP Absence type
              ERND (EL leave)
                HRS=1      Set
ADDMBxxxxZ Set month bal. = 0
                COLOP*     TIP  >TOP curr.TType
and assigned below function P2001
c) to check 240 days eligibility
ZTE3 Personnel Calculation Rule  ZTE1
        VARSTCURMO Current period
            COLOP*     TIP  >TOP curr.TType
          10
            VARSTREDAY Rel. day of period
                COLOP*     TIP  >TOP curr.TType
              01
HRS=Oxxxx  Set   ->>>>>>>>>> (atten. time type)
                HRS?KZ240E Decision op.     HRS
                  <
                    COLOP*     TIP  >TOP curr.TType
                  =
                    HRS/20     Division
ADDMBYYYYZ Set month bal. = 0
                  >
                    HRS/20     Division
ADDMBYYYYZ Set month bal. = 0 ->>>>> (base entitlement time type)
and assigned after function LIMIT
By doing this, Im able to generate quota but no 01Jan but at last day of year i.e. 31.12, wherein quota should generate 01.01 every year.
Since Joseph has advised to write two more rules
a) Current year unused quota
varstcurmo= 12
hrs=FR01C --->>>>>>> (EL quota)
Adddb -
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>(absence time type)
b) Carry forward the quota to next year
varstcurmo = 01
HRS=LXXXX   -
>>>>>>>>>>>>>(ATTENDANCE TIME TYPE i.e 240/20)
ADDDB           -
>>>>>>>>>>>>>(NEW TTYPE for Current Year)Z
  HRS=L        -
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>(absence time type)
Adddb         -
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>(NEW TTYPE for Current Year)
Plz advise do I need to create new time types both for Absence & Attn.*** (or use same that was created for Base entitlement & Attn. cumuluation i.e. YYYY & XXXX)
One more query arise in my mind is previously we have created PCR to move EL to attendance based on that calculation would be made, where the requirement is Attn + EL = but calculation will only be on Attendance / 20.
Plz Plz advice your valuable comments

  • Time [ Quota Generation for Part-time employees]

    Hi Experts,
    I need a help.  I have a following issue.
1] Whenever an employee is marked with a tick '' as Part-time], I want the quota to be generation based on the Weekly workdays [field in SAP WKWDY].
2]  I used the option of defining reduction rule by selection the radio button on the following option:
                Weekly workdays
Day by day in accrual period
                Accrual period
No reduction [defined in To Percentage and From percentage]
3]  When I execute the PT60, get an error message as "No Standard working time for key 13 5 20100501"  I am running it for the month of May2010.
Can anyone throw some light, in case I missing something.  I have earlier done configuration of Reduction Rule by using the rule 01 which has the option of Employment Pct. from Plnd Working Time Infotype. and then maintain for the employee the tick on Part-time and reduce the employment percentage.
Now the client I am working wants it based on the Weekly Work Days and these are all Salaried employees.
If anyone has faced this problem and has as solution, can you please share.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Kathy,
Yes, i have found the solution to it. I do not know whether it will fit into your situation or not, but i got two solutions for my issue mentioned above, please check it may help:
    1) To use capacity utilization field in IT0008 to get the FTE hours and defining the reduction rule of absence quota based on the capacity utilazation percentage.
    2) There are three user exits available in the standard report RPTQTA00, i have used one of them to write my own rules for the calculations (deduction rule)
Do let me know if i can help you in any respect. Thanks.

  • Middleware- Taking long time for generation of Runtime objects- SMOGTOTAL

    Hi Experts,
I am doing middleware settings for connecting CRM 2007 with R/3 4.7.
When i am generating all the required objects ( Replication objects, publications....) using the transaction code SMOGTOTAL, system is taking very long time for generating the objects. Generally it takes 4 to 6 hours but in our case it has already took more than 36 hours and still its running.
Can anybody tell me what i need to do to make the generation process faster.
    Regards
    Nadh

What I read in the best practice:
It is not required for a new installation.
Typically this activity has already been executed during the system installation or upgrade.
Use transaction SMOGLASTLOG  to check if an initial generation has already been executed. In this case you can skip this activity.
I checked transaction SMOGLASTLOG, and in our case the initial generation was not yet executed. I also couldn't continue with the next steps.
That's why I started up the job, it is finally finished after 104 hours..
    Thanks for your fast reply.

  • Time stream generation report issue - ZZTSTRREGENERATE

    Hi,
As per note 1421812 - Report to automatically generate all time streams, we have generated report ZZTSTRREGENERATE for auto generation of time streams.
But when the report is executed time streams are not getting generated. Rather we get the message ' Timestream (XXXX) not generated for year 2016, Timestream (XXXX) not generated for year 2017'.
I have checked the associated calendar in the Time stream ID and it has validity till 2020. Not sure why this is happening.
Has someone faced this ? Any pointers will be of help.

  • Time automatic generation

    Dear Experts,
i want to know if it possible to make automatic generation of penality for employee who didn't clock OUt/IN
    example :
while running the time evaluation if the system found that the employee doesn't have clock in , then automatically pass it and calculate this day as absence day without entering absence day in infotype 2006
Please i need quick answer ASAP.

while running the time evaluation if the system found that the employee doesn't have clock in , then automatically pass it and calculate this day as absence day without entering absence day in infotype 2006 i think it is 2001
    Hi
Kathy before going to the issue please check this
When employee misses out the puch you want it to be an undpaid absence and do not want the absence day in IT2001  (i think this is incorrect since to track no of miss out we need it and also in order to sort out absences unpaid is due to Miss outs of punch in or due to leave for Un authorised we need the records)
When ever employee misses out the punch  we cannot directly assume that it is absence since there might be problem in puching system in that case wht is the plan of action from SAP and does we intimate the employee that he missed out the punch in etc
In standrad this is not best procedure as the system throughs error in PCR TE20

  • Time Management - Work Schedule /Absence Quota / Part-time quota generation

    Hi Experts,
    Need your help!
We have a requirement where we need to create distinct work schedules for each irregular / part-time work pattern and the number of work patterns we have identified is more than 1000.  We are using report RPTQTA00 to generate quota. We have used work contract, employee sub-group & employee payscale group in the QUOMO feature to get the base entitlement picked up. We have defined base entitlement for the full time workschedules with 37.0 / 38.5 hours and there is a reduction rule which reduce the absence entitlement for part time employees as per the employement percentage in IT0007. Now we have a scenario where we have created a work schedule with different no of hours for each day of week (M-4, T-6, W-4, TH-6, F-4, S-OFF, SU - OFF); this work schedule is treated as full time work pattern by the system and quota is generated as full time work schedule refering to the QUOMO settings, but as per my client employees with this work schedule have reduced hours of working hours (24 hours, not 37.0 or 38.5 hours)and hence it should be treated as part-time employees, and the quota generated should be proportionately reduced. I have very limited scope to create any ESG or PSG as we do not have any distinct emplyee sub-groups maintained for full-time and part-time employees and the project has already gone-live with payroll/time. It is worth mentioning over here that we are recording absence through ESS and it takes into account the daily planned working time maintained in IT0007, so we are very particular to keep it as accurate as possible.
I would really appreciate if somebody can please suggest any possible solution for the above issue, or guide me on what would be the best way to tackle it. I can give more details in case anybody need to have a better understanding of the issue to suggest a solution.
    Thanks in advance

  • Time Quota Generation

    Hi Experts,
    Scenario:
For most of the employees, our client accrues 30 days of Annual Leave per year (2.5 Per month). However there are some exceptions where the client would like to store the yearly accrual entitlement in an infotype and then the system should accrue based on days maintained in infotype. There cant be any logic (Like ESG or PSG) to determine such employees. Only way to know is to see if Infotype is maintained and then override 30 days with the that value.
    My Solution:
    To use infotype 2012.
I am using Time evaluation to generate quota hence I have to create two base entitlements:
one for 30 days per year and another for number of days in IT2012 (In the schema function P2012 will pull the value in time type and the same is used here in daily balance field of base entitlement).
I will need QUOMO coz I have to create two selection rules, one with base entitlement of 30 days and another with IT2012 time type.
I have written a program in QUOMO feature that checks if infotype 2012 is maintained for the employee, if yes then it returns 02 else 01. but the issue here is I can not check if IT2012 exists on particular date (the feature structure doesn't have date field).
Do we have any other solution for this??

    Hi Ryan,
You can try the below thing.
Instead of using QUOMO feature to specify quota groups, you can use a custom PCR of MODT to specify quota groups using operation MODIF.
In this custom PCR, read the value of time type getting generated from function P2012 and if it is greater than 0, it means that base entitlement is coming from IT2012. If it is greater than 0, then specify quota group 02 and if it is equal to 0, then specify 01.
Rest of the things will remain the same. You will have to remove the configuration in feature QUOMO so that it doesn't override the value determined in custom PCR.
I hope this information is helpful for you and will resolve your issue.
    Thanks and regards,

  • TOO MUCH TIME-REPORT GENERATION

REPORT PROCESSING TAKES LOT OF TIME BETWEEN MACHINES OVER NETWORK
ONE MACHINE IT TAKES 5 MINUTES SAME CONFG OTHER MACHINE IN THE NETWORK TAKES 20-25 MINUTES, ANY CHANGES HAS TO BE MADE IN THE SERVER

    Hi,
If the load of your system is very high, 10 minutes is much too long for STAD.
The solution that I use is to display shorter intervals (maximum 3 minutes in my most loaded system).
As rdisp/max_wprun_time is a dynamic parameter, a possible workaround is to increase its value during the time necessary to run STAD.

  • External hard drives compatible with time capsule generation 3

I am trying to connect a little 160Gb HP hard drive to my time capsule via a hub which also connects successfully a non wireless printer. This particular hard drive uses two usb in's to connect. Once i plug it into time capsule, it powers up, thinks for a while, the wee blue light becomes solid and there it is.
However it does not show up in the finder sidebar under Shared - though i have set preferences to show everything. the hard drive is formatted correctly, and i can access it when i plug it directly into the imac.
am i missing something ? or is it just not compatible with my time capsule ? - perhaps the two usb connections are the cause? i just want to be able to save files and access them on the external hard drive via the network from imac and laptop, instead of having to plug it in to either.....
    any help much appreciated...

yep am using a  usb hub, time cap. has only the one usb port- yes two usb outs on the hard drive , sorry, which merge into one into the hd, is bus powered...

  • Date/Time sequence generation

    Hello,
NB: database is currently Oracle 8i (circumstances), migration to Oracle 9i is planned but not imminent.
I have timestamped data logged to a database. The logging of the data
occurs every second, but to reduce space constraints unless data falls
outside a deadband it is not logged to the database.
I'm looking for routines or methodology to fill in the missing data using
SQL or PL/SQL (I have already written Java to do this on the client
side but my gut feeling is that server side manipulation of the data in
PL/SQL or even straight SQL would be more efficient)
For example, given the following data where the time stamp is
    YYYYMMDDHH24MISS:
    Timestamp TagValue
    20030328080000 -10
    20030328080005 0
    20030328080010 -10
    20030328080020 -20
    I would need to produce:
    Timestamp TagValue
    20030328080000 -10
    20030328080001 -10
    20030328080002 -10
    20030328080003 -10
    20030328080004 -10
    20030328080005 0
    20030328080006 0
    20030328080007 0
    20030328080008 0
    20030328080009 0
    20030328080010 -10
    20030328080011 -10
    20030328080012 -10
    20030328080013 -10
    20030328080014 -10
    20030328080015 -10
    20030328080016 -10
    20030328080017 -10
    20030328080018 -10
    20030328080019 -10
    20030328080020 -10
Data in this example has changed frequently but in real life the data
does not change for days. The purpose of filling in the holes in the data
is to allow complete reuse of the client side code which depends on the
data being in the 1 second format. Previously data was logged to a
custom binary file and when retrieved it was automatically put into the
1 second format. The logging is being ported to and Oracle backend
and I'm involved with updating of the client.
Long winded description boils down to:
Given two arbitrary timestamps, how do I generate all timestamps
between them using a given interval (i.e. above we use 1 second,
however request might be for 5 second, 1 minute, or 1 hour data
    interval)??
Doing this on the server side will allow easy migration to the current
client and then easy update of the client as many of the routines which
currently iteratively process the data could be replaced by simple
queries (averages, sums, dates when certain events occurred, etc).
    Thanks.

  • I'm having issues with my Time Capsule Generation 3. The wifi range no longer extends past 30 or so feet and it happened very suddenly. Any ideas?

My Time Capsule Gen 3 which I have had for around 5 years and had been working like a champ for that time suddenly won't extend the wifi range past 25 to 30 feet. It happened quite suddenly and is wreaking havoc in the house. Any ideas on what the problem could be and any thoughts on quick and affordable solutions?

5 years is well and truly past the lifespan of modern domestic electronics that does 24/7 operation.
    SImply replace it.
You can get a Gen5 AE second hand dirt cheap now.. around $50. and they have much better wireless than earlier gen TC.
Otherwise just get another new TC.

  • I just purchased a like-new Time Capsule, Generation 1. Anyone still have one that is still going strong?

New to the community.  I decided to replace my Netgear router with a TC.  I found an original G1 on Amazon in like-new condition for an outstanding price.  It is the 500GB model and has had the Apple power supply replacement done.  My question is does anyone have one they are still using from the original G1?  If so, any problems or issues?  I have read some horror stories but have also read positive ones too.
I will be running my MacBook Pro, 2 PC's, 1 iPad, 1 iPod, & 4 iPhones on the TC.  My understanding is that I can manually backup the PC's.  Thanks for your help.
    bloodhoundmax

The power supply  in the refurbished one is still prone to failure, due to the very high internal temperatures. If you have some warranty wait that out, and as soon as that is finished, open the TC and turn on the fan. Leave the rubber mat off and stand the TC on feet. Alternatively use an external power supply. They will last a long time but only with some effort made to keep it cooler.
The 2.4ghz will not use 40mhz dual channel so they are restricted to 150mbit connection. And since it is not dual band simultaneous you do not have access to high speed since you must run it on 2.4ghz to run things like iphone and ipad as they do not work on 5ghz band. You would have done better buying the next model.
If you have a wireless router now, keep using that in G or N wireless at 2.4ghz and use the TC in bridge and run it at 5ghz.
You can indeed manually backup your PC's. You can also plonk a 2TB drive into the TC. Once you do the above to keep it cool.
