I have configured Absence and the time status is 7. do I have to configure any time wage type,
Can any one tell me what error is this
what are the settings I have to make

   can u try this one
                                that error in prcl-01
in this /001&/002 technical wts are using for the storage of Amt(X010) and Rate(X013).All wts whatever we maintained in Basic Pay(0008) that only calculated.
For this X010 and X013 PCRS are required,For /001&/002 technical wts of specifications are normally -5.Becoz in X013 it allows 5 regarding calculations purpose.
In X010 Specification will be 0,1,2,3(which will Work) otherwise will be Error.(For Basic Pay Infotype Wts)
If You insert 0-Specification for your wt it not(Amt) calculted in Valuaation Basis.
                    1-Specificaton for your wt the amt will be stored in /001
                     2-/002
                     3- /001&/002
In X013-Calculates rate into /001&/002.For this Specification will be 5 in PRCL-1
                    RTE-TSDIVP(Comes from Basic Pay Infotype Monthly Hrs)
                    DIVID ARR(AMT(?001&?002 (Wts Amt)/RATE(TSDIVP-Keeps in rate)
                    ZERO=A-It Makes amt has 0 in /001&/002

Manage Payroll Methods Error

Hello,
When attempting to use manage payroll methods in SSHR I come across the following errors. I am working on 11i and do not have all of my pay methods set up. I have set up some mock pay methods (direct deposit and check) but I am not sure why I am getting the second error.
ERRORS BELOW:
1)The data that defines the flexfield on this field may be inconsistent. Inform your system administrator that the function: KeyFlexfieldDefinitionFactory.getStructureNumber could not find the structure definition for the flexfield specified by Application = PAY, Code = BANK and Structure number =
**** According to this error, I have the flexfield set up: Application :Payroll Flexfield : Bank Details Key Flexfield Code: Bank: 5 segments *** 1 Account Name 2 Account Type 3 Account Number 4 Transit Code 5 Bank Name 6 Bank Branch***
2) Unable to continue because none of the configured Payment Types are available to this Assignment.
Also,
I have created a custom menu and it does not allow me to use manage payroll methods function for my specific responsibility. I assume this is due to a system profile option but I am unsure which one I need to configure.

Get the payroll of the assignment and check if any valid payment methods are attached to the payroll or not. You can check the same in Payroll form.

TIme Management/ Payroll functions

Dears,
I am new to SAP HCM , i would like to know where exactly do we write the functions used to calculate/process the payroll and time data (like fast formula in Oracle ERP HR)
example:
if I want to put a rule for time events (clock in/ clock out) that applys when an employee comes 3 hours later than his work schedule. (something like that)
where do i write that formula
also where do i write formulas concerning taxes calculation in payroll (for example)
Note:
those calculation rules are not included in SAP as I am implementing the HCM for Egypt (which doesn't exist as a standard)

PE01 which has the Schema............... which is used to Process the pay roll
PE02 The Personnel calculation Rule which you have to write in case of any Requirement
PE04 this is main T code where we write Functions for Pay roll and Time

2) Is there any quarterly check for a wagetype (it is paid once in 4 months )
3) In case when an employee remains absent for 15 or more days (EL) then proportionate Conveyance Allowance is deducted. Is this scenario possible through standard ?
4) Infotype 2001: Absence Quota allows duplicate data. Is there any check for this in system?

     Most of the times every employee has different types of quotas at the same time. But he may not be able to use all the quotas at a time. This can be checked with the help of collosions. V_554Y_B

Integration between Time Management and Payroll

I configured Time Management and Payroll....
Before It created a problem in time management in absence quotas...
for testing payroll I deactivated schema DAYPR that is time data processing....
Generated absence quotas correctly
Now I activated DAYPR still in display log i dont see any integration with time management....
I changed the time management status to 7 and 9
still its not integrating with Time Management
what is that I want to do to integrate time management with payroll

The SAPADPFR process model is designed to launch a payroll and export payroll data to SAP using the Interface with external payroll systems (pu12) transaction. The system creates a process corresponding to the process model for each of the payroll services in the Services menu. In the scenario, ADP-GSI indicates whether the service must use the process model or not. You can copy the SAPADPFR standard process model and adapt it to your companyu2019s requirements.
To launch the SAPADPFR process model, the name of the process model must be entered in the PM_PAIE constant (SAPADDFR by default). Program RPPM0FI creates a link between the different programs run in the process model and the process itself.
The sequence of programs defined in this process model is as follows:
○        OT_SELECT_PERNR_OTFR initializes the process model. The user selects the personnel numbers for the payroll areas pre-selected in a dialog box. The status of the payroll areas considered on Released for payroll is updated in the HRPAYFR_ADP_PERNUM BAdl implemented by ADP-GSI.
○        RPCALCF0 launches the payroll for each employee selected.
○        RPIF00FI creates an export file based on the options defined in pu12 for the FADP interface format.
○        RPPMFLFI calls program RPFL00FI with the file formatting data based on the options defined in pu12.
○        RPTMSEFI converts the file to ZADIG format.
○        RPSENDFI sends the data file to ADP.
The value of the TEM_DVR code affects the following steps:
○        RPDOWNFI extracts the reference values.
○        RPSENDFI sends the reference values.
○        RPPMCDFI deletes the reference values file and indicates the end of the process.
A breakpoint is planned after each program that does not use the PNP logical database:
       1.      to manage return codes as they appear in a ADP scenario: a return code less than or equal to 50 stops the process
       2.      to call the HRFR_PROCESS_STOP_OT_SAPOTFR function module
A conditional breakpoint is planned for management codes. Depending on these codes, it is possible to skip these steps. These breakpoints call the HRFR_PROCESS_NAVIG_OT_SAPOTFR function module.
In the SAPADPFR process model, in the event of an error the process stops on the step following the conditional breakpoint. The function module called allows you to ascertain whether the previous step (STOP_OTFR) was carried out correctly.
A procedure for purging processes is integrated into the FINPER service after the process is closed.
It is possible to view the result of the process and the updated status of the ADP exchange in the exchange table (T5F6K). Program RPDV90FI creates a link between the completed process and the ADP transmission table. You can view this information in the process log for this program.

SQL Error 4506 in Configuration Manager dataldr.log

I noticed that every minute my Config Manager dataldr.log will display the following Hardware Inventory error related to the SMS_Inventory_Data_Loader component:

Has anyone seen this error before or have any idea of what could be the cause of it? I'm unsure as to how long this error has been occurring. I just know it occurs roughly every 1 minute.

It sound like you setup a custom inventory class and sorry to say it was incorrectly done.
How was this class added? Have you compared the WMI class to that was added to CM12?

Enterprise Manager Database Control Errors in Alert.log

Hi all
I'm posting it this forum because i think it is the best place to get some help, i suspect it is something in Entreprise Manager Database Console
sometimes i get errors in Alert.log

ORA-25254: time-out in LISTEN while waiting for a message

Generally this error is generated when the database is shutdow for backup (3 AM)
In the shutdown script i terminate the DatabaseConsole service before i shutdown the database:

Hi ..
The STOP error in the payroll log is a critical error. Can you give me some more details on this.
The second error is missing configuration in the Wage type evaluation table. Make sure you have the configuration in place before you run the Payroll.

Customizing error in work shedules in function GENPS in the Payroll log

Hi All,
I have created Holiday calendar for 2011 and regenerated the work schedule rule for the year 2011. while testing the same I am facing this error in the Payroll log with GENPS function in the Processing of time data node.
This error is seen in all DEV, QAS and PRD clients. It is identified that there is a problem with Holiday calendar while assigning floating holidays.
Kindly clarify me the following things
1. how do we assign the floating holidays if the holiday exists in 2007 and 2008 but not in 2009 and 2010, again exists in 2011.
2. our system is migrated from version 4.6c to ECC in November with support pack level 53
3. this error is also reflecting for the rehired employees.
Kindly provide solution, at the earliest as there is Payroll issue for some employees in this month.

u have to keep the from date to date in the tables and again regenerate the wsr ( start date and end date should be similar in daily work sc and in v_t508a table)

Time management entry error

Hi Sap guru,
I am facing error in time management, can any one help me out,
I maintained paid absence type of sickness/illness in 2001 infotype, and I went for time evaluation, where it evaluated successfully, then I went for payroll process, during processing it is throwing an error of u201CNo entry in table T554C for key 10 02 00u201D
The error breaks down as follows:
Molga: 10 u2013 USA
Absence valuation grouping 02
Valuation rule: 00
But my valuation rule suppose to be 04
I had checked the table of T554C, T554S Via V_554S_G, T555y and also the pcr rule TMOD, where all the configuration is correct.
So can any one help me out of how to resolve this issue.

Hi Shreya,
Since your absence valuation group is 02, please see that MODIF A=02 is maintanined in the pcr XMOD or not.
If not, copy XMOD to custom defined and maintain the correct groupings. It will resolve your issue.
