Hi,
Have you tried to restart Ip Helper service for testing?
Considering if the related DLL file was corrupted or blocked, you can test in Clean boot.
Also run SFC /scannow command as admin to scan your system, if any file was failed to repair, post back the CBS.log for our research.

My coldfusion service crashes intermitantly and when I check
the application logs the error that I see for the time frame is the
one below. Does anyone know where I might begain to solve this?
Thanks!
Error Executing Database
Query.coldfusion.sql.DatabaseConnectionException: Timed out trying
to establish connection The specific sequence of files included or
processed is: E:\wwwroot\lifeworks\default.cfmI'm no expert, but thought I would try to be helpful.
I was getting this same error on a regular basis.
The short term fix was to restart the ODBC server service.
The long term fix was twofold:
1. I recreated the ODBC connection in ColdFusion
Administrator to use the system connection (I was using the SA and
PW for login).
2. I created a second user ODBC connection as well as the
system one under ODBC in Windows Server 2003.
I haven't had the problem since.
I also read a pretty good set of "stuff" to try from the help
area:
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_17277
Hope this helps. -
Timed out trying to start process P045
HI,
we have 2 node rac on ibm aix .
we got " Timed out trying to start process P045 " alert log of on node 1.
pl explain what does this mean ?hi Anil1 T,
please post "show parameter processes" output.
if it's value is 50 increase this parameter value using;
"alter system set processes=200 scope=spfile" --if you use spfile
then shutdown and startup the database
i think your processes value is low.

Timed out trying to establish connection - Java only
I am running CF8.0.1 with sql 2000 on windows 2003. I've been intermittenly experiencing the error below. I've gone and researched as much as I can and none of the answers apply to me. It seems that when Java objects try to reach me sql database I get the timed out message. This happens once a few days and hangs the server until I restart coldfusion.
If I try to reach the same table with a cfquery tag and output the results, I have no problem. Only java classes seem to be affected by this issue. Restarting the coldfusion service fixes it, but its not reasonable to restart it every other day.

I am runniWell, the application in question is running ablecommerce. I have 3 sites hosted on this server that I manage. Ablecommerce no longer supports Coldfusion. All of their queries to the DB are written through java classes and not your regular cfquery tags.
When I get that timed out error on my ablecommerce sites, and then run a cfquery on the same server against the same DB, it works fine, which pushes me to think its java related.

Just got a new IPad2. First time Apple user. Need to upgrade to ios5 but get an error message saying network timed out. Tried removing firewalls on my pc and disconnecting my anti virus. Did not help. Any suggestions?
Download iOS 5.0.1! apple servers will not allow you to install iOS 5 as there is already a later version available.
If your itunes is acting up, download the iOS from another site then hold shift button and click RESTORE button in iTunes and select the iOS 5.0.1 ipsw file you just downloaded and voila!! -
I was able to publish my site from Muse to Business Catalyst two days ago, but yesterday and today it is timing out when trying to connect to Business Catalyst. What should I do?
Hello,
Please sign out of Muse and Sign In again. Also Make sure Creative cloud application is up to date ( to check that sign out of creative cloud and sign in again if its not up to date you will be prompted to install the update)
To sign out of muse click on Help > Sign Out
If the issue is still not fixed then please rename the "OOBE" folder to "OOBE.old" from the following locations
MAC : (This folder can be found at Finder > Go > Go to Folder> Type ~/library/application support/Adobe > Hit return)
Widows : ( This folder can be found at C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe )
Please let me know in case the issue still persist

Error message "connection timed out" trying to access ebay
Trying to load ebay (uk and .com) I get a "connection timed out" message and "server is taking too long to respond" message I can load other sites including facebook gmail and my bank. The problem seems to be on my laptop as I can acces ebay without problems on another computer.
I have cleared history, cookies and cache and have also tried disabling addons. Nothing seems to work. Any help gratefully received (not too technical, please)try this: go to TOOLS > OPTIONS > ADVANCED > NETWORK tab > CONNECTION > '''check''' Auto-detect proxy settings for this network [x], click OK to save it, exit firefox and restart it.

cannot connect to MLB.com video of game with firefox, but can with internet explorer. Also same thing when trying to view video at NY Giants.com
Hello.
It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] (don't forget to select ''Disable all add-ons'' when you start safe mode). If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. See [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes this article] for information about troubleshooting extensions and themes and [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting+plugins this one] for plugins.
If you need support for one of your add-ons, you'll have to contact its author.
If the problem is not disappears when all add-ons are disabled, please tell me, so we can work from there. Please have no fear of following my instructions to the line, as all can be easily undone. -

Regards,
RavichandraIf you know what port Unidata databases run on, load up a command line on the CF box and type
telnet <servername> <portnumber>
If you get a connection refused, then there's something blocking the connection on the network. If you get a clear black console, then it's a CF issue.
What software is your server running? If it's Server 08 then it's almost certainly Windows Firewall.
