  • How to specify the vendor for supply plant in stock transfer oder process

    Hi experts,
In the sceniro of intercompany STO, I want to know how to set up the link between supply plant and the vendor ?
    Thank you.

    Hi
I think you are talking about Inter Company STO...if yes,
Follow the below steps to to make STO between two plants belongs to  different company company codes. It is also called as Inter Company STO.....
*1)Create one Customer Master in XD01 with respect to Supplying Plant Sales Area and assign this Customer no with Receiving Plant in OLME->PO-> set up STO->Define shipping data for plant and for the supplying Plant assign the above sales area.( Make sure,In Customer Master, sales Area Tab: you are maintaining shipping condition)*
*2) For Receiving Plant Pur. Org and Co.Code Combination create Vendor master in XK01 and in this vendor master assign the Supplying plant in Pur.Org.Data screen->Extras--> Add.Pur.data
    3) OLME->PO-> Set up STO------>For your supplying plant assign document type NB, Delivery type NLCC and Checking Rule RP
4)then For your supplying Plant and receiving Plant assign Document type NB
5)Make sure you are maintaining Sales View for the material at supplying Plant and in Sales /Gen plant Data view maintain Availability check, Loading group and Transportation group.
    6) In SPRo-->Logistics execution> Shipping->Basic shipping functions->Shipping point Determination>assign shipping points-> For your Loading group,Shipping Condition and Supplying plant combination,Assign shipping point
these are the configuration settings you have to do in background.
Then Create STO from Receing Plant in ME21N with document type NB.
Based on that STO, Create Delivery in VL10B from supplying Plant
Do PGI in VL02N from Supplying plant
Do GR in MIGO at Receiving Plant keeping Outbound delivery as a ref. document.
Now your STO bet. two plants belongs to diff. Co.Codes will be completed.
    Reward if useful

  • How to assign new vendor to existing wage type - urgent help needed!!

    Hi  SAP Gurus,
I have a query for south African payroll-
I want to assign an exiSting wage type (<b>i.e Transport 1234)</b> to <b>new vendor (600139)</b>The above wage type is aleady assigned to old vendor (600136)
Hence from 1st June2007 onwards, the wage type will be assingned to new vendor, hence where we assign this wage type to new vendor?
I have already done some changes in (IMG--SA payroll Reporting for Posting Payroll Results to AccountingActivities in the AC-SystemAssigning AccountsAssign Vendor Accounts , where I have assigned symbolic a/c to new vendor)
Also, I have copied the wage type, Transport with new validity i.e 1st June2007.(IMG-SA payroll Activities in the HR-SystemMaintaining Wage Types--Define Posting Characteristics of Wage Types)
Hence, I wanted to Know, how the wage type will post new vendor form 1st June 07?? is there any other way to addign the wagtype to new vendor??
Hence, required your valuable inputs for same.......... )
Points will be rewarded for same
    Tnkx & regds,
    Nithibabu

    Yes ,
Assigning WT to new vendor through that i explain.
just assign you WT to Symbolic account and further link will get created.
Each employee is having its own vendor account if you don't have that then its very difficult to understand where the amount is going
so when you make a payment to employee that payment is go and seat in to his/her vendor account so for that purpose you have to assign the employee id to employee vendor, so if you don't have relation between employee and vendor how you come to know that for which vendor the amount is paid.
so for this purpose we need to assign the employee id to vendor.
in SAP employee is treat as vendor and customer also.
This setting is done by FI consultant.
ask your FI consultant he will do for you.

  • Assigning receiving plant for customer !

I want to maintain the plant for a customer 51(in sales order).this plant is the receiving plant for deliveries (& different frm the plant in sales order ,though values may b same) and can be maintained for tht particular customer. In LIKP table, Werks field represents this plant. I want to maintain a value ‘X101’ for this plant for the customer 51 .
I tried 2 find out the field from vd02 & xd02…….but cudnt find it………….do u know how to do it (for any customer)?
Please lemme know if u have ne idea…
Note: the customer has been created

    Hi!
I think you are talking about the field KUWEV-KUNNR of the sales order. If this will be correctly forwarded to LIKP-WERKS - I don't think so, just the wrong process. KUNAG and KUNNR are filled, but not WERKS in case of deliveries based on sales orders.
Anyway, in field KUWEV-KUNNR can be values out of customer master data, which are maintained in XD02, sales view, partner roles, role WE (or a similiar translation for goods receiver). There you can assign site X101 to customer 51 (if corresponding sales views are created).
If still LIKP-WERKS is empty, but you need it -> then you might need to use a exit to fill this field or switch to a purchasing process.

  • Inter company STO-how to reduce the stock where no physical stock is kept in receiving plant

    Dear All,
I am facing one issue. Suppose if there are two plants belongs to two company codes A & B.Plant A is in TN & Plant B is in AP (both belongs to two different states). Plant B is the place where no physical stock is kept, it is a place where JJ form & other documents are given to the vehicle to move it to other state. From there it ll move to end customer.
In plant A stock reduce-- inventory credit
                                        COGS----Debit
In plant B stock increase=---Inventory debit
                                             GR/IR--credit
Now my problem is in plant B no stock is kept, my client wants to reduce the inventory automatically without any manual entry (since no stock in plant B)
Can i use MB1A to reduce the stock automatically & what would be the actual entry for that. How to offset the other account which is getting debited against inventory?.
    Regards
    Subbu.

    Hi,
It seems to be a combined scenario of third party and inter company STO scenario, where you want to send the send the stock directly to your customer. Standard SAP doesnt support the third party scenario for a vendor assigned to the plant. The standard design is well explained in the note: 1918552 - Third Party Purchase in Cross Company STO: error 06769
If you dont want to update the stock in the receiving plant, use a consumption account assignment category (like K) in the intercompany STO, so that the stock will be directly consumed. But one question - how do you map the goods issue to the customer and the outgoing excise invoice? Could you please share the details.

  • Route Determination on STO (Receiving plant and supplying plant same)

    Dear Experts,
We have two different STO type,
    same supplying plant
same receiving plant, receiving debit to PO assigned account, not inventory, so we don't maintain storage location
    same materials.
The requirement from warehouse: They want the two types STO link to two different Route. ( we have many plants, which based on transportation zone, link to different route already)
I tried maintained  shipping condition on the sales order type DL, which suppose copy to the delivery order type DL, but it seems not working.
The shipping condition still copy from the ship to part (receiving plant).
    Any suggestion for this case.
    Thanks in advance.
    Jaeny

    Hi Jaco,
Thank you to reply me. Delivery type is NL, rather than DL (sorry mistake)
I am trying to use shipping condition which assign on sales order to separate the route.
So create a new Stock transport Delivery order type ZNL by copy the standard one NL.
And create a sales order type ZDL and assign the copy control (standard is DL link to NL), and set shipping condition type on new sales order type ZDL,
but it turns out the shipping condition still come from the ship to party rather than sales order, and route keep no change.
So if STO not follow the rules : shipping condition not from sales order , only from ship to party?
Besides, any other suggestion for this case?
    Thank you

  • Issue in assigning new Planning Calendar for MRP.

    Hello Experts
I have trouble in setting up new Planning calendar for S&OP and MRP process. Let me explain in details
Requirement is, currently I am using standard country specific Factory calendar format (monthly period) per plant. But new requirement has came up and Company wants to change beginning and end of period (monthly) -- as shown below
    Current Calendar
    1 July to 31 July = period 1 - 2014
    1 Aug to 31 Aug = Period 2 - 2014
    and so on..
New requirement is ( Last week of Friday is end of Period)
    Sat 28 June to Fri 25 July = Period 1 - 2014
    Sat 26 July to Fri 29 Aug = Period 2 - 2014
    Sat 30  Aug to Fri 3 Oct = Period 3 - 2014
    and so on..
    (basic concept is to keep
    4wk, 5wk, 5wk for Quarter 1
    4wk, 4wk, 5wk for Quarter 2. and so on.. )
I have setup new planning calendar in MD25..
ie. min period, start of period not a working day, Calculation rule & Period etc...
then assigned new planning calendar in MM02 - MRP2 and also in MRP1 used Lot size PK... etc..
But when i Put demand in MC88.. which gives us std month format and transfer to DM, then Ran MRP but some how MRP is not creating correct Qty in planned demand as per new calender..
    i.e..  1 July to 31 July = period 1 - 2014  if total demand Qty for Material XYZ is : 50
I am expecting planned demand result in MRP as...   Sat 28 June to Fri 25 July = Period 1 - 2014  - should be 50 in total.. but It's not..
Any reason? Or I am missing some settings?
    Thank you in advance..
    PC...

    Thanks KK/Umesh
Business wants planning calendar in this format. And Fiscal Year Variant has also been set according to new calendar.
KK, Regarding MC88 there is no option to incorporate planning calendar into S&OP process. And Organisation's S&OP process is set from day one (Planning by ProdGrp/Material) so MD61 would not be a good option to use.
Umesh, regarding "start of period not a working day", I have selected "do not displace". And 27/09 and 27/12 dates are set holiday. The major issue here is: Not every 4th Sat of month is Period start day, MRP is picking new planning calendar (defined in above table) from the system But some how when transferring forecast data from planning table to demand management (MC88), system don't recognize new planning calendar and it distributes demand over weekly bucket per regular month Calendar instead of new planning calendar..
Some how I need to incorporate new planning calendar into S&OP setup somewhere, Any thoughts?
    Thanks.

  • Can I change two devices of my Id and assign new id's and still access the same cloud.

After ISO8 my sons iPad rings when I receive a call. I have two 5c's and an iPad under one apple id. Can I assign a new id to my wife's phone and my son's iPad and then all of use the same cloud under the new update? Will my wife lose her contacts? Im thinking what I need to do is start both devices from scratch and assign new id's with different emails and then add them to family sharing. Am I correct here, I just want to verify before attempting so I do not lose anything or create unnecessary backlash in my direction. Thank you for any assistance

If your goal is to stop your son's iPad from ringing when you receive a call, all you need to do is go to Settings>FaceTime on his iPad and turn "iPhone Cellular Calls" off.

  • Automatic update of vendor code during plant to plant Transfer

    Hi all,
How to configure automatic update of vendor code during plant to plant Transfer.
    Regards
    KK

    hi,
In transfer posting there is no buying/selling of the goods...there is only transfers may be from plant ot plant...or storage loc to st location...etc...
When you do plant to plant stock transfer, there is no role of the vendor...but the receiving and the destination plant/storage loc plays a big role...
    Hope its clear...

  • STO for a customer/vendor of another plant

Is it possible to transfer a stock from a plant warehouse to a customer or vendor of another plant? What is the procedure?

Thanks.  Yes, all our SC vendors are assigned to Plant. Based on Sub con PO created, the vendor stock gets created.
My concern: I want to transfer a stock (as such removal) from one plant say P1 to a customer/vendor of another plant P2. This SC vendor will supply FG to P2 as the Subcon PO is created so. Logically, via ME2O, P2 should provide the component to that vendor. But In real time, physically components are being supplied from P1.
How can I send a stock from one plant to a customer of another plant? This can be done 541 Transfer posting.. From: IG10 Dest: IG14 and with the SC vendor.
But before I do this 541 Transfer posting I need a base order ( I thought STO is the way) from which I should do OBD and then I should go for that 541 transfer posting..
from P1 to SC vendor via P2..
Am I clear? Is it possible?

  • STO need receiving plant

    Hi experts
I met a urgnent problem of STO. I have setup Plant A and Plant B in "assign document type one step...:"
    document type as UB.
Now when I create sto, it ask to input the receiving plant, but I can't find B in the selection field.
Sometimes ,when I just click" enter" , the B plant will pop up auto, sometimes it can't .
What's the problem?  What I need setup for this recevinig plant?
    Thanks
    Alice

    Hi,
Check the STO document type  is assigned to Supplying Plant, Receiving Plant or not. If not , just assign in following path:
SPRO --> Material Management -- > Purchasing-- > Purchase Order-- > Set up Stock Transport Order--- > Assign Document Type, One-Step Procedure, Underdelivery Tolerance

  • Assign Multiple Sales Org for One Plant in STO process

    Hi Experts,
Aware that I can assign multiple sales org to 1 plant (relationship: many to many).
I am trying to create STOs to supplying plant and assigning them to different sales organization but encountered problem.
    Example:
Supplying Plant 1000 - Sales Org 1000A (food) and 1000B (apparel)
    Receiving Plant 1100
Plant 1100 wants to issue 2 STOs to Plant 1000 - 1 for each Sales Org (for instance STO1 to food division, and STO2 for apparel division).
However, when I tried creating STO in the system, noticed that in the shipping tab (item details) the sales org, DC has been assigned to 1 particular assignment and data is locked.
Tried to get into SPRO to configure and define the shipping data for plants but noticed that it's 1 to 1 relationship (SPRO - IMG - MM - PO - Set up Stock Transport Order - Define Shipping Data).
    How can this be done?

You can set different sales areas (~sales organisation) for one plant in SAP - based on issuing SLoc provided STO between storage locations is activated.
SPRO > Materials Management > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up Stock Transport Order > Set Up Stock Transfer Between Storage Locations > Define Shipping Data for Stock Transfers Between Storage Locations

  • STO with 2 vendors for one plant

    Hello!
We are facing problems with stock transfer using transport order (STO). We want to use 2 different vendors for the same plant  (MK02 > Purchasing Data > Extras > Add.purchasing data). Some countries in our company should purchase from vendor X and others from vendor Y (X and Y is the same plant). The vendors have different settings.
Our problem is that SAP allows only one plant as vendor (table T001W-LIFNR). When we try to create a source list (ME01) for the vendor not in T001W-LIFNR we get the error message:
Vendor X and supplying plant PPPP incompatible
    Message no. 06732
    Diagnosis
You have entered vendor X and supplying plant PPPP in the source list. However, a different supplying plant has been assigned to vendor X in the master record.
    Procedure
Enter either the vendor or the desired supplying plant.
Is works fine with the other vendor (the one defined for plant as vendor).
Has anybody an idea how we can solve this issue?
Thanks in advance and best regards
      Reinhard

    Reinhard,
I think you may be confusing the purpose of a stock transport order.
The vendor assigned to the supplying plant is just another way to represent that plant.  Since there is only one plant, there can ONLY be one vendor.  In effect, plant = vendor.  One plant in your organization is 'buying' product from another plant in your organization.  One plant represents the 'customer', and one plant represents the 'vendor'.
The vendor in the STO is totally unrelated to the vendor from which you originally bought the product.
Can you describe the business requirement which makes you think you need more than one vendor per supplying plant?
    Rgds,
    DB49
