Try just to create Visual Web Application, add 'Text Field' and 'Button' components from 'Basic' part of Palette, doubleclick on button and add following in button_action:
String URL = textField1.getText().toString();
try {
getFacesContext().getExternalContext().redirect(URL);
catch (IOException ioe) {
//exception handler
Then deploy application, type in text filed: "http://www.google.com", and then click button. For me this works fine.

A new tab opens by default as a blank tab.<br />
You need an extension if you want to open a page in that tab.
You can look at one of these extensions:

Whenever I open a template document in Microsoft word, it automatically opens in Pages. THis has happened since I downloaded Mavericks. How do I get this to stop and allow me to use Microsoft word templates in Miicrosoft word?

Right click on a template and choose Get Info. Find the "Open with" section, and change it to Word. Click Change All if you want all templates to be opened in Word by default.

While trying to open a favorite webpage, all that comes up is a list of Downloads and a and a box that says Notepad. It won't open the page. How do I get it to go directly to the page I'm trying to open?

I simply can't open one of my favorite websites. I click on it and first comes up a box with a list of downloads ( all from the same site) . When I click on one from the list, I get a box that from Notepad with a bunch of writing that I have no idea what it is.
I believe while trying to get it open in the first place I checked the box that said... "open from here from now on" or something similar. The two other first options I was given didn't open it.

Copying from web pages can include some weird formatting. Instead of Paste, use Paste and Match Style (Edit Menu).

I bought Adobe Illustrator 11th March and still didn't get any conformation about my purchase.

Well today's morning I done again my purchasing, and there is info about few business days of check the bank card. But today is 19th march actually.

Adding to what weezyd has said, when the update is pushed out, it is to the operators. Then it will be at their disgression to approve and push these updates out to their users. When you know this update is out for you product code, call your operator and ask them if they have approved this and when will they push it out.

I know it is not the best advice, but the easiest way would be to delete your app from your device and then to re-download it from the App Store again by using your new Apple ID.

Hi Vikrant,
Since you are more interested towards HR than ABAP, in long term you can think of moving into SAP HCM functional career. And to be able to work as a functional consultant, you need to have good amount of business process knowledge. Considering this you can start working in core HR and gain domain experience and move your career later towards functional area.
And more over you have ABAP HR experience,this will be very handy when you are a functional consultant.

Didn't get 10G certification automatically after passing IZO-045?

I am a 8i OCP, then last year, I want to upgrade to 10G OCP. In last Decemeber, as Oracle website directed, I took and passed IZO-045 (Oracle Database 10G DBA new features for Oracle 8i OCPs) , (the exam centre is Pearsonvue), To my surpirse, I still didn't get 10G certification from Oracle.
What is wrong and how can I do?

I have not received my certification success kit. What do I do?
If your package has not yet arrived, you should:
- Allow up to 8 weeks to receive your kit after you have completed your final certification requirement.
- Visit certification.oracle.com and select your certification path to ensure you have completed all requirements.
- Check certview.oracle.com to confirm that all exams were taken under the same Oracle Testing ID.
- Go to Pearson Vue Website and select "Personal Info" to ensure your address is correct.
- If you still have not received your certificate after the waiting period and your address is correct in your Pearson Vue profile, please send an email message to [email protected]

I didn't get the PDFMaker options in Lotus Notes

I am working on Windows XP, with Lotus Notes 7.
I want to convert Lotus Directories and Mails to pdf.
I have instaled the evaluation version of Acrobat XI pro, to test if I can have this functionality before buying the licence,
...but I didn't get the PDFMaker options in Lotus.
I have try:
- restart the computer,
- restart Notes,

     => Solution 1: Make sure that the Notes PDFMaker files are installed ==> was already OK
     => Solution 2: Modify the Notes.ini file to include path to the PDFMaker dll file ==> Was not ok, I have made the change
             (my NOTES.ini file is in C:\Program Files\lotus\notes\_xxxx\Standard      directory in my case.

     => in regedit, I find Software/Lotus/Notes/ 7.0 under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE instead of HKEY_CURRENT_USER
          and without NotesIniPath.
          I Try to add NotesIniPath with the path, restart Notes, but I still haven't the PDFMaker buttons or menu or toolbar.
- I search a lot in the forum, but I only found unresolved topics.
could someone please help me to get the PDFMaker in Lotus Notes?

I have remove the Acrobat XI demo version from my computer and installed the Acrobat 9 version (with licence n°)
but I have the same problem.
I still didn't get the convert option in Lotus Notes.

When I checked my iTunes, my credit was still $0.01... I tried logging out, and logging in again, and logging out again, and logging back in again, but I still didn't get the 10 bucks back... please help!

If you paid by credit card then I suggest you check your credit card's statement. Apple would have issued the refund directly on your credit card. I don't think that you would see anything on your iTunes account.
