To send secure emails

Hi,
How can I send secure emails from my applications? Are there problems with mail-server if I send secure emails?
Could someone tell me how to send a secure email to someone from my JAVA application?
Thanks a lot.

accatides,
to create secure mail you will have to use the JCA or JCE.
There are several possibilities to create signed or encrypted mails and BodyParts.
But it would take to long to tell you here, i think you will have to read about it on your own...
for example some guys from IAIK University Graz wrote a brilliant book about stuff like that (the german title is "Sicherheit und Kryptographie in Java" Authors: Lipp, Farmer, Bratko, Platzer, Sterbenz published by ADDISON-WES LEY).
you could also try to get help in the Security->
Cryptography-Forum.
hope this brings you further...

  • How to send secure email using JavaMail

Hi, anyone out there know how to send secure email using Java Mail? Greately appreciated.

For starters, if you have not already done so, read about it in the JavaMail design specifications.

  • Send secure  email attachments via ipad

I need to convert images to pdf and then send them securely via email.  I've found apps to do one or the other but not both (and no apps that each do one job but work together).  Any suggestions?
    David

You can install (either or both) an email signing certificate on your iPad, which simply certifies that you sent the email in question, or an encryption certificate. The encryption certificate must also be installed on your recipient's email server or email client software so that they can unencrypt the message.

  • I need to reset my security questions but when I send an email to the rescue email it doesn't get to me its the wrong email. help?

iTunes wont let me download any music and I have over $20 on my account. It says I need to answer my security questions but I don't know the answers. When I try to send an email to the rescue email, it doesn't work. It says the email starts with an "h" but none of my emails start with an "h". I also don't know how to edit the email. Someone please help!

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

I am trying to reset the Security Questions as I have forgotten them, when I have logged into My Apple Id, and click on the button to reset the Security Questions, it states it is sending an email to the Primary Email address. I do not have the option to input a Rescue Email address, the only option I have is to input an Alternate Email address, which I have done so.
Also when I have tried to book an appointment throuth Online Support, I have not successful, I have rung a telephone number provided by the Mac Store in Perth, Australia and the reply provided is that we are closed. I was given to understand that Apple provided 24/7 Support to their users.

  • I keep getting asked to answer security questions and I can't remember them. Apple says it's sending an email but haven't received one but as soon as I got on community I got an immediate email. It's driving me nuts not being able to get on iTunes.

I'm trying to get on iTunes, I know my password but don't remember the security questions. It says it will send an email but haven't received one, I know email is right I got an immediate one when I got on the community discussion. Any ideas?

Try going to id.apple.com and signing in using Manage Apple ID.  Click on the Password and Security section on the left and check the space under your security questions.  If you have a rescue email, then a button will be there that can be used to send a reset link to that email.  It will usually have the email address blanked out except for the first letter.
The only other way to reset the questions would be to call Apple Support at 1-800- MY-APPLE and have the account security team look at your ID.  They will ask you for a temporary support pin and one other piece of secure information from the account, such as your current security questions, the credit card linked to the account, a device serial number, or a verification code that they can send to your devices.  The support pin can be gathered using the same id.apple.com page.  It is in the bottom-left corner of Password and Security.  The support pin cannot be skipped, but the second piece of information for the verification can be whatever of the options they give works best for you.
Once they have the support pin and one other piece of information to confirm your identity, they can reset your security question without needing to send you an email.  Just sign out of appleid.apple.com while they send the reset, and when you sign back in the Passwords and Security section will change to ask you for new security questions and your birthdate.
    Good luck!
