Tool or Package to run fuctionality of CRM in SAP ECC 6.0

Hi All
My requirement is to run multiple product schemes for free goods. We have not implemented CRM in our company. I know standard SAP support 1:1 free goods functionality,but am looking for tool or package which will help me to run the process like CRM. We have implemented Multi-product free goods process( eg:- 5+1 bye any 5 material out which one material is free.) Now the business require same product with bundle schemes and one to one free goods schemes.
To achieve this process am looking for tool or package which will provide me functionality like CRM

If I understood you correctly, you are looking for many to one and one to many relation in free goods. Right?
As you already know in standard SAP there is 1:1 ratio allowed. There is no standard functionality which can support many to many or many to one or one to many free goods in SAP ECC. This has always been done through ABAP or by using BOM functionality.

How to stop the replication of a particular business partner from sap crm to sap ecc - BDOC

Hi experts,
I need to know the procedure to stop replicating a particular BP #1234(example) from CRM to ECC. I don't want this BP to be replicated in ECC as in ECC this BP will not be maintained.
BDOC failure:
In my current scenario BDOCs are failing with error like "No BP exist". Since this BP #1234 itself is not present in ECC, the error is obvious.
This BP #1234 is defined in CRM as an Org. Unit. We don't maintain Org. Unit in ECC. All other BP are saved under this BP(#1234).
Issue:
So whenever a new BP(example #ABC) is created, the BUPA_REL type BDOC fails with error "BP with number #1234 doesnot exist.
I don't want this to happen. So what i found if we can stop the replication of this particular BP #1234, then if we make any change to the relation BP, this error should not come.
Please help me to resolve this BDOC error.

Hi Ganesh,
1st we create a Organization structure through tcode-PPOSA_CRM.
A business Partner is created which represent the Organization Structure partner ID.
2nd we create a BP through and do a Org. assignment in tcode - PPOSA_CRM.
A business Partner is created which represent the any customer partner ID.
As soon as you do an assignment,assigning the customer BP to the org BP, a BUPA_REL BDoc flow but it fails.
Error we get in the BDoc: "BP XXXX doesnot exist"
Reason: Since this Org BP is not present in ECC, the BDoc fails in CRM.
Possible Resolution 1:
1. I created this Org. BP in ECC through CRMM_BUPA_MAP
2. The BP got created.
3.Then i tried to assign a new customer BP to Org BP to check if the issue is resolved, but we get another type of error 'BP is not defined as internal Org. Unit".
I don't know how to define BP as an internal Org. Unit in ECC?
Can you please help me in this.
Possible Resolution 2:
If i can stop this particular BUPA_REL BDoc which contains this Org.unit BP, from getting replicated, means when i assign the customer BP to Org.Unit BP, BUPA_REL should not be triggered.
I don't know if this is possible or not, but if this is possible, i would consider this a last option to resolve this issue.

The only way that would work out is if you ran exactly the versions that were made for old PowerBooks. Anything newer may require Intel and not run, or will strain the poor old G4 CPU.
Your needs have to be modest, too, because the problem with older music and video software is that they are not current as far as formats and codecs for the Web. If you want to output H.264, the current standard for YouTube/Flash video, older software may not support it, and in addition, H.264 is processor-intensive and is tailor-made for today's multi-core, 2+ GHz processors. It will overwhelm a G4. A PowerBook G4 can barely play YouTube videos.
More perspective: The PowerBooks worked great for miniDV format editing. In other words, 480i SD/standard definition video in use from the late 1990s to the late 2000s. If that is all you want to do, edit tape from an old miniDV camera to SD output, then OK.
But if you want to edit today's HD video, whether 720p from a snapshot camera/iPhone 4 or 1080p from a DSLR, the PowerBook and the software for it will either not recognize AVCHD/H.264, or it will slow the PowerBook to a dead crawl.
I'm in agreement with the above: Intel Macs have been out for so many years that getting a used one is a much better deal than a dead-end PowerBook. And I loved (still love) my PowerBooks.

      you can precalculate and distribute(thru mail) the query, workbook and webtemplate through online link or html file to the receipents (users).

     you can schedule the infopackage daily at your desired time .In the schedule tab ,select the start later in background and in the scheduling option give the date and time and give the period values as daily.

How do I stop packages from running?

I scheduled the intercompany packages to run every 10 mins for the last 2 months and have put in an End date each time. For some reason they are not ending. I have tried to abort them by right clicking on the package but either abort is not an option or nothing happens. I am on BPC v 7.5.

try from more->package schedule status. If not possible bpc side, delete it from windows scheduler task.

Does "Run another program first" affect if the real package will run?

In order to sequence some things, in my package I want to do a "run another program first" before what I'm really trying to do runs.
My problem is that the thing I want to put in RAPF sometimes fails or times out due to some issues with our machines, but I want the "real" package to run regardless of the results of the RAPF package.
My question is, if the thing in RAPF fails or times out, will the original package still run after the failure/timeout?

Doesn't look like I'm able to make a new TS, might be a permissions thing I'll check on.
Also, just to give more details, what I'm trying to do is run two command lines, one an msiexec command with switches and then after that runs, then a setup.exe command with switches, then when those finish a vbs which I know finishes. I
think it's either the msiexec or setup.exe one that hangs (possibly asking for a reboot or something that it doesn't really need).

Hi,
If you suspect there's something wrong you obviously need to take some action.
However, before that you may want to check whether the calculation is actually misbehaving or is it just a question of a glitch in the UI. You can find the package log file on the server in the %APP%\Datamanager\Tempfiles\ folder and see if it says finished. You can also monitor the file while the package is running to see if it grows, indicating that the system is still working.
If you see from the log that the calculation has been finished the obviously it's only the UI and you can clean up the log, otherwise you may want to investigate further.

Loading transaction data to CRM and SAP/R3 from legacy system

Where can I find information about expected timing to load orders from a legacy system to CRM and SAP R/3? Does anyone know how long it would take to do the update in CRM using RFC's and BAPI's and then load to SAP/R3 if the order had an average of 3.2 line items per order and there were 50.7 million orders? It is assumed we would run multiple loads concurrently. So I guess a better question is how long does it normally take to load one order with 3.2 line items onto CRM and also SAP R/3?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Sales area Upload CRM to SAP R/3 Middleware

Dear SDN team,
We are facing a Unique Isssue when replicating a Sales area data of a BP from CRM to SAP R/3 .
The versions are SAP CRM 5.2 and SAP R/3 4.6c
Problem : We have created a BP with Role "Prospect" initially in CRM and added a Sales area to same using CRM Web UI. Now we upgrade the Prospect to a Role "Sold to Party" and later deleted the old Prospect role .
Through Middleware Delta events , the Business Partner in Role "sold to party" is successfully getting replicated to SAP R/3 system with General data .
But the Sales area is missing . Why is this ??
One more point is that , when we manually change the Sales area in CRM again and save the changes made , the Sales area is flowing into SAP R/3 system automatically . this is strange for us !!
Why is the Sales area not getting replicated into SAP R/3 system automatically whereas the General data of the BP is getting replicated ??
Please help us ..Point will be rewarded for the correct answer.

File system for SAP ECC, EP , BI and CRM installation on Solaris/DB2

We are going to implement SAP ECC 6.0 with EP 7, BI and CRM on Solaris operating system with IBM DB2 database.
All these applications are going to be installed on single server, as being a basis person, I know this is not all recommended.
But due to client's requirement and keeping cost factor in mind I need to install all these application on single box.
Now here I need your help. as I basis person, I know the required Solaris file system for SAP ECC 6.0 but not having any Idea about other application like EP/ CRM and BI .
If anyone able to help me with required Solaris file system. it will be great help.
Please let me know if there is any query.

Why not using Solaris zones/container? This decreases the administrative amount tremendeously since you will deal as with "single machines" but they all run together on one box.

Sold-to's missing link to ship-to's - SAP ECC -to CRM data load

I have recently extended my middleware between my CRM 2007 and SAP ECC systems. I have adjusted the CRM middleware filters to include a newly created Sales Org that was created in our ECC system. I'm loading the data from SAP to CRM and the accounts are coming across for this new Sales org however they all seem to be assigned to the Sold to Role and none of the accounts are assigned to Ship to, Bill to or payer roles. This is despite the fact that PIDE is maintained correctly in SAP ECC. My middleware objects also seem to be fine. All my other sales orgs worked perfectly in the past.
What objects (business, customizing and condition) do i need to need to run to get these relationships into CRM from SAP.
The main one that I have run is CUSTOMER_MAIN and CUSTOMER_REL
Any ideas as to what the problem might be?

This issue defintely relates back to our SAP ECC Upgrade
It looks to me like that any NEW accounts created in SAP (post our SAP ECC Upgrade from SAP 4.7) and loaded into CRM do not include the relevant account relationships
That is to say that if an account in SAP say 100001 has 4 sold tos 100002 - 100005, 1 payer 100006 and 1 bill to 100006 then that same account will not have any relationships. The 7 accounts will be created in CRM but there will be no relationships between them. All the historical data is fine, any master data that was created prior to the SAP upgrade is unaffected - the relationships exist. Even if this master data was loaded into CRM after the upgrade. The issue is with master data created in SAP after the ECC upgrade and when this loaded into CRM the problem is evident.
This never came to light during a recent business unit rollout as their master data was created in SAP before the ECC upgrade and came across to CRM without issue. We only have seen this issue as we are now dealing with a new business unit that has had all its master data created on SAP post the SAP ECC upgrade. Its this master data that is affected in CRM in terms of missing relationships.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone seen this issue before
