Top surface coming undone from bottom shell

I got my MacBook today (white, 2GHz, 1GB/80GB). But it's going back.
I really was very impressed. Until I started inspecting the machine more closely and noticed that the top surface of the unit (where the keyboard and the palm-rests are) was coming undone from the bottom part of the shell along several centimeters, on both the left and right sides of the Mac (to the left and right of the keyboard). A visible gap was apparent, big enough to slip a fingernail in.
I called Apple and the tech guy didn't even argue for a second and immediately transfered me to the sales rep who arranged for an exchange.
Still, I wasn't sure making an exchange was the right move, so I went to the local Fnac store (in Paris) to check out the units on display. There were 5 MacBooks, and some of them had the same problem, but much less pronounced than on mine (shorter and narrower gap, one side, not 2 etc.), while others didn't have the problem at all. When I got back home, I examined it again, and noticed the top surface coming undone in one small spot on the front of the MacBook, and I also noticed that the spot where the lower right half of the Mac connects to the screen hinge was a quite askew.
Needless to say I'm disappointed, because I really liked everything about the machine and I hate to have to wait another week to get another (hopefully better built) MacBook...

I wasn't offered an exchange, either. Mine has been in the shop (mail-in) for ten days now, waiting on repair of warping case pieces. It's quite frustrating that it's taking this long.

Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to restart itself, ignore the slide to power off slider. Let the iPhone restart itself. Usually takes about 10 seconds of holding both buttons.
Probably do not need this, but Portrait Lock can be set by, pressing home button twice quickly, slide bottom row of icons to the right one time, tap the Portrait Lock icon.

SSRS: Setting Header from Top/Footer from Bottom

Hello there guys
We're using RDLC-Files to create some word reports.
In our previous version, where we used RDL-Files on SQL 2008 R2, the Margin-Properties (Header from Top / Footer from Bottom) didn't get set at all an was always 0.
This behaviour was reported, but marked by Microsoft as 'By design'. Since I can't post a link, just google for
"Word export sets margin-top, margin-bottom to 0mm".
Interesting enought, on our new Version with RDLC, this properties are always set to 1.27cm, but ignore the Margin-Properties of the Report-Page at all.
Since we'd like to port our reports from the old RDLs to the new RDLCs, it would be the easiest way, if we could kindahow set these two properties.
But so far I didn't find a possiblity. Is there one, to tell the Word-Renderer what we'd like to set there?

It's telling you to connect to ITunes and restore your phone. This will have to be done with a USB cable and iphone connector that came with your charger.

Showing messages on the top as well as the bottom of the screen

Hi all,
In Webdynpro Java I have to show message at two positions on the screen. I am using Message Area UI Element for displaying the messages. I have used two Message Area UI Element one at the top and one at the bottom but the message is coming up on the top only. I need to display at the bottom also. Is there any way to provide this facility on the screen.
This is really urgent.

Macbook retina darker yellow from bottom half, normal?

Hi!
I have a new macbook pro retina 15" late 2013 model, and i see when im on a white page that from about 40-50% from bottom and up its have a warmer yellow color than the rest on the top of the screen.
Its not realy easy to see it but i have no problem to see it. I wonder if its normal and it could be better after some time use?
The top of the screen is more whiteblue.
Any idea why is it like this and what i could do?

13" MacBookPro OSX 10.6.6 Bottom Shell has bump.

I have had my MacBookPro for almost two years. Just today, for the first time, I noticed a small bump, on the bottom shell of my machine. It is about 1 1/4" from the edge between the locking device and CD/DVD drive. I find it odd that I have never noticed it before, and it is there now. I take excellent care of my machin, the only wear it has received is that two of the rubber feet have fallen off. Everything is working fine and the DVD drive is working fine and I have never used the lock before. Not sure I should worry...

Running OS 10.6.7 plus last Firefox before 4.0. Reluctant to move to 4.0 as it is still new.
This is a new problem, beginning in the last month or so for me, I think. While it seems much longer, I believe the delay is about 20 seconds, and it does happen every time Firefox launches.
Further, sometimes (do not yet see a pattern) well after launch, when attempting to navigate on a website...Firefox isn't paying attention. I think the interruption may be 20 seconds here, as well. Then all is well.
No magic living color pinwheel displayed by uncle Mac during either delay.
Did I mention table pounding frustration when on deadline?

Fly in From Bottom Effect

Does anyone know why the "Fly in from bottom" effect "shakes" when displayed in preview mode. Basically I have a string of text set to "fly in from bottom" for 5 seconds and then I have "Faded zoom out" set from 6 seconds to 9 seconds on the timeline (for the same sentence). I have changed it and changed it and it seems to just shake during the "fly in from bottom phase".

Just tried it in Chrome - it does it there too - so odd. It's like a minor tremble as the words scroll to the top of the page. I have several lines like the "Star Wars" reading that appears in the beginning of star wars (where the lines disappear as they go up) - and that is what I am using it for. But it does the shimmy shake as it goes up the page before it disappears.
This is not a new issue - in the past I have just not used the feature but I really really want to do this animation and I don't have flash skills. Thanks!

First you should not include the whole path to your report in the call ...
Use like this:
/ora/u01/oracle/v101/as2/bin/rwrun.sh report=an_stati destype=file desname=/ora/u01/oracle/v101/as2/test.pdf desformat=pdf
In $ORACLE_HOME/bin/reports.sh:
1) Verify that you have updated the REPORTS_PATH variable to include your folder where you have the report in question
REPORTS_PATH=/ora/u20/app/qits/env1/run:$ORACLE_HOME/reports/templates:$ORACLE_HOME/reports/samples/demo: ....
2) Verify that the REPORTS_TMP variable is pointing to a valid location and that the oracle user has access to write on it.
After that, post the content of the tracefile located at $ORACLE_HOME/reports/logs/{in-process report server name folder}/rwserver.trc
If no file is present then it means that you need to enable trace in your reports's conf file.... go to the $ORACLE_HOME/reports/conf folder and and locate the .conf file that correspond to your in-process reports server name (as specified in the rwservelet.properties file)... open/edit the file to enable trace logs ..
i.e.
Change the following line:

to <trace traceOpts="trace_all"/>
Bounce the reports server and try to run the report again, this time the .trc file should be generated, post the content so that we can take a look.

Ideapad S400u - Noise coming out from the headphone jack

I also have this annoying noise coming out from my headphone.
It happens while the notebook is charging/plugged.

Can you describe this noise? Is it coming from the area around the headphone port? If you plug headphones into the port, does the noise go away or change? Is the outlet you are using for charging grounded?
