Anybody know what this really means? We get it when we are just using :
SDO_TOPO_MAP.CHANGE_EDGE_COORDS(Tplgy,EDGE_ID,Geometry);
to just change an edge's coordinates shape ( and we don't change the end nodes!)

What is really confusing is that if we modify the line string slightly sometimes we don't get the error. However that is not an option since the line string is generated by line simplification and we don't want to sit at the terminal trying to figure out the allowable line strings. Things that sometimes make it work are including more of the original vertices.

I'm not an expert on Topology, but it seems to me that the change you are making is causing the boundary of an island to coincide with the external boundary of the face. This is even in "normal" Spatial not allowed, so would even cause a validation error there.
From what you describe the change is really close to your tolerance (check the metadata for the actual tolerance), and so is sometimes above and sometimes below (thus sometimes causing an error, sometimes not). So check the change's delta's, and compare them with the tolerance set in your metadata, would be my suggestion.

A short look into the javadoc reveals javax.faces.el.ValueBinding Deprecated. This has been replaced by ValueExpression.So you are using the wrong class to get to a value using EL inside one or more of your bean classes.

Face Time has disappeared

With my IPad 2, Face Time has disappeared. There is nothing in Settings to turn off/on. There is no option to call/video from Contacts via the FaceTime logo. How do I re-install? I do have an Apple ID.

Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies And Data (Clear Cache on iOS 4) and also Clear History
If you stillc an't access Facebook via Safari then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
There are a number of Facebook apps (including an 'official' one), which might be better than accessing it via Safari

Face time has stopped working since update on iPad and iPhone

My face time has stopped working since both my iPad 2 and iPhone 4S did their iOS 6.1 update. They just say that a connection cannot be made, or FaceTime unavailable. Both devices are sitting beside each other, both have excellent wifi. If you try to FaceTime one of the devices, it will ring once and then lose the connection. Apple account details are all fine, FaceTime is switched on, on both. Kind of lost and frustrated now

So I also noticed a few weeks ago facetime stopped working on my iphone but was still working on my ipad2 and macbook pro.
Phone - iphone 4
os version - 6.1.3
carrier - at&t 14.2
location - usa
I use the same apple id for all devices
I searched online for a fix and/or troubleshooting help. I tried alot of the suggestions on this discussion as well as others but nothing seemed to work. Out of frustration, I finally reached out to apple tech support. I went through the entire trouble shooting steps with an apple technician and was even transferred to a senior advisor for additional help. We tried everything from resetting passwords, resetting icloud accounts, resetting phone settings, checking network settings, resetting date & time, resetting location, making sure push and multitasking functionalities were working properly, etc. We spent a couple hours troubleshooting trying everything but nothing worked. The apple tech said I would have to restore the os and if that didn't work, the only other thing to do would be to send in my phone. But he did stress that I had to restore as a NEW device.
I backed up my phone using iclould and my computer (everything is synced) and restored as a new device. I tested facetime and it worked, however my phone was back to factory position which is not ideal. So I went to itunes and restored my most resent backup. I got all my phone contents back but FaceTime no longer worked. I called the apple senior advisor back and he said I would not be able to restore from a backup because there seemed to be an issue with it that prevented FaceTime from working properly. So I backed up what I could to itunes and iCloud then restored my phone as new. After the restore, it prompted me to install the carrier software update which I did. Then I used itunes to sync my music, apps, contacts, mail, videos, pics, etc. I did this yesterday and facetime has been working properly since then. However certain things I was not able to recover.
So far, these are the things I noticed have been lost with the restore:
- all my settings (everything went back to default/factory)
- voicemail messages greater than 30 days old
- all text and iMessages (but I still have copies of imessage conversations on my iPad and mac)
- data stored within apps (you start fresh like when you first downloaded the app. some apps i have online accounts that sync but most apps the data is lost)
- screen display configurations
- notes that were only on phone and not synced with an email account
Out of all my research, this has been the only thing to get facetime working again. But on the downside, it does take a lot of time to backup, restore, re-sync, and then set up my phone similarly to how I previously had things. The big thing for me was the loss of my apps data. I wish there was a way to restore that. But when all is said and done, I'm glad to have FaceTime back on my phone.

Face time has stoped working on macbook pro and mac book air

Its been a week and Face time has completely stopped working on my Mac Book Air and Mac book pro,
I have I PAD 3, I PAD 2, I phone 5 , I phone 5, MAC Book Air Core I 7, Mac book Pro 13" core I 7, using all of this some of these devices which are in India also I am using some to communicate with my family using Face time,
just a week Ago my wife was trying to call me using face time and she couldn't connect, she tried and when she calls i do get call but as soon as I answer it said failed and call ends, i though some thing may be wrong with connectivity , but then I asked her to use i pad instead mac book air to do faceting and it worked from i pad to i phone, but she couldn't call using Mac Book Air to I Phone. I thought the ID may have some problem in mac and i asked her to log out and re logging, and there you go, she couldn't even sign in back. i was thinking what's wrong and i came home and started my mac book pro to see what's wrong by logging in to her mac book air using team viewer but before doing that i though lets just cal from my mac to her I pad and then i couldn't even call so i tried to log out and log in and its a same issue i cant login either.
now its been a week i cant log in to face time in my mac neither my wife on her mac book air. when we use ID its says check your network connection, where my net is working absolutely fine as i am using face time from on I pad and i phone.
i think Apple may have stopped Face time for MAC users.
so i can confirm the problem is only with MAC BOOK .
if any one has solution for it, or any feedback that when it will start again, please advise as I need Face time to be working in my mac.

ADF-Faces: AdfFacesFilter has not been installed ....but it is!?

I know this sounds like already discussed but my case is a little different.
I have got two web applications, one for testing that just contains ADF-Faces and the other one is the actual project with ADF-Faces, Spring(JSF variable resolver), SessionListener, Filter ec.
In the actual project I get (after first call a faces url) the logging message:
oracle.adfinternal.view.faces.webapp.AdfFacesFilterImpl verifyFilterIsInstalled
WARNUNG: The AdfFacesFilter has not been installed. ADF Faces requires this filter for proper execution.
In the test project with the same ADF-Faces configuration(but only ADF-Faces, no Spring, other Filter or Listener...) in web.xml and faces-config.xml I do not get this message and trees etc. are rendered fine.
My questions: Could there be a conflict with Spring framework or is there any other pitfall?
If I comment out SessionListener Counter or LoginFilter, the warning message remains.
I like to use ADF-Faces but cannot see what's the problem here? Please help.

Smart Album; unnamed face always has 1 person

I set up a smart album with 1 condition: Face is unnamed
There is always one photo stuck in there after the others are named.
It has 1 name associated with it.
As far as I can tell, there are no additional unnamed faces.
So why does it always show?

There are no charges for FaceTime itself. All you would pay would be any data charges from your carrier that might apply. This of course assumes that the carrier supports using FaceTime over their service; not all do.

IPhoto 11 face recognition has lousy results!

New iMac user here. I am loading all of my photos into iPhoto 11 year by year so I can identify Faces and locations. The Faces recognition feature is doing a lousy job! Even with a series of photos taken on the same day Faces seems to only recognize the same person about a third of the time. Sometimes it will give a wild guess, but most of the time it just labels everything as unidentified. I've labeled over 1000 photos already. Shouldn't Faces be more accurate by now? Is there anything I can do to improve this?

Yeah it is terrible, I wish they could swap in how Picasa handles face recognition. I'm really torn as Picasa is incredible at facial recognition, but the rest of the app is terrible. iPhoto is the opposite.

ADF FACES: where has OraHeader style gone?

After upgrading to EA16, it seems that the OraHeader style class has disappeared. Is there a proper replacement to use instead?

We're overhauling our style names as part of getting ready for skinning (no use having good skinning APIs with bad style names). The name in our latest builds is AFHeaderText, though I'm not sure that's what's in EA16.
