TouchEvents suddently stops working

Hi,
Im developing windows 7 kiosk apps for multi-touchscreens (dual touch).
In the past I have always developed for single touch screens, by just using the normal Mouseevents.
But in this project I needed the dual touch feature, so I have started using the TouchEvents in the following mode
Multitouch.inputMode = MultitouchInputMode.TOUCH_POINT;
My Problem is that suddently the aplication will no longer respond to the TouchEvents (for instance: TouchEvent.TOUCH_BEGIN)...
I have tried to do some debugging and it will still reponse to the mouse-events, just not any of the touchevents.
I am developing through multidmedia's ZINC, but it is not a Zinc issue since I can get the same error in a pure flash projector (exe).
It is also not the screen or computer, since testing on different hardware produces the samme problem.
Flash does not produce an error, the touch is just ignored.
In the beginning I was using touchevents all over the program, but now I have had to replace them with mouse events to reduce the probability of it happening, but I still have some places where I use/need the touchevents.
Is there any way to force the application to pick up the touchevents again?

Texas Hold 'Em Suddently Stopped Working

I bought Hold Em a week or so after the games came out and I enjoy it a nice bit. I went over to my cousin's house one night and I was playing it and suddently the whole thing froze in the middle of a hand. I forgot how to reset the iPod so I brought it home, reset it, and kept using it with no problems. Until a week or so ago.
I was playing Hold Em when I went to go eat dinner, and then after dinner I went to play again. Everything was fine until the loading screen that (when loaded) leads me to the choice of which place I want to play at. It just freezes in the middle of the loading screen.
So basically it was working and suddenly stopped working. I didnt bang it or throw it or drop it or anything. I just placed it on a table.
So far Ive tried resetting my iPod many times and Ive tried syncing the game on my ipod, neither of which did anything. Id reinstall the 1.2 software on my iPod, but I think that removes all the content on it which isnt all on my computer (I have a 40gb drive which is practically full as-is, with only some of my content on it..).
Im using the support form, and Ill probably call Apple tonight or tomorrow because my 90 day phone support (and possibly some of the warranty?) runs out on this Sunday, the 22nd.

Acrobat X Pro suddently stops working

Periodically Acrobat X Pro just stops working; it won't open, either by trying to launch the program directly or opening a PDF. If I remove/reinstall it, it works fine for about a month, then stops again. I can't connect its failure to anything else (e.g., system updates) and it's frustrating. I'm running it on Windows7. I have CS6 and don't have this issue with any of the other programs. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Is there any error message associated with the launch or it simply doesn't launch?
Does this happen with any specific PDF you try to launch ?
Or what you can do is go to Task Manager. Ctrl + Alt + Del and select Start Task Manager. Go to Processes. Sort by Names. Do you see Acrobat.exe on the list? If yes, please select it and click End Process. Then try to run Acrobat Pro.

5.1 Surround Sound back two and centre speakers suddently stopped working in VIS

In January I installed Windows Vista onto my pc. I didn't have any issues with the sound card at all. All of my speakers were working correctly.
The sound card I have is the Creative Soundblaster Li've 24bit internal. I installed the drivers for it which were out at that time and I had no problems with my speakers.
Yesterday though I noticed that my speakers were not sounding correct. I soon realised that no sound was coming from my back speakers and my centre speaker when I played music in Media Player. So I done the usual audio tweaking and checked my box on my speakers to see if anything was wrong, but it was all ok. So then I went to sound settings in vista. I then configured my settings and noticed everything seemed to be ok. When I done a sound check all the correct beeps came from the correct speakers. That told me that at least the speakers were not broken. Windows has noticed they are there. The 5. settings were correct also.
The CD that came with my sound card I seem to have lost. I know that has software where you can tweak the sound setup but I actually noticed that my speakers were louder and clearer then when the software was installed on xp. So I doubt that if I install that software again it will fix the problem.
I was really confused at this stage so I started to do some research on Google and noticed it's not just me who's having this problem. Quite a few other guys seem to be getting exactly the same as me.

Granted that the systems are using different soundcards then mine but it's a little bit of a coincidence don't you think?
Luckily for me I had quite a few restore points to go back to. I tried a couple of days ago, then a week and then a month before. Same thing though - no sound?
I then removed the drivers from my computer and then installed the new vista drivers. But guess what, nothing happened.
I doubt this is a soundcard problem and I think it's something to do with vista and the few bugs? she?s still got.
Any suggestions on what might be the problem?
Oh by the way, I?ve not installed any new software which could have caused this problem. Not in the past few days anyway. Like I said I restored my pc at multiple dates just to make sure.

Well I'm not using Vista I'm using XP SP2 and I have the same problem.
On the windows sound control panel there is a button called speaker volume. when you click on it you get a bunch of sliders with channels -8. Ive discovered that if I move the master sound control in any of the Creative Sound modes software Entertainment/Audio Creation or Gaming the channel sliders in the windows control panel numbered 3-7 all go to zero which stops the surround sound working. It leaves channels and 2 and 8 alone which can be changed with the sound control in the creative software.
Even checking move all the slides together option on the windows control panel is cancelled as soon as I twitch the main sound control. It's driving me nuts. I keep thinking I must be missing something really obvious here but alas I can't think what.
Ive tried lots of different solutions to no avail. Interestingly when I tried to use the autodriver update thing on the creative web site it said that i am using Vista and you'll have to download manually. Which I did and still didnt resolve my problem.
Sorry no solutions just more problems lets hope someone can help!
Edit - Just discovered - I have XFi Pro if I use the I/O Console volume dial it works fine, but if I use the software volume control it all goes wrong. Think I posted in the wrong thread as well as this is vista but it just seemed so relevant.

Does the phone still charge when you use the wall adapter?
If yes, charge it for about 10 min, then try to do a reset by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again.

Why did Premiere Elements 10 suddently stop working after complaining about requiring a drive update

Two days ago Premiere Elements 10 worked fine. Now it is complaining that the GEForce 220 video card required a driver update. But I have the latest driver. Other users are having the same problem, from what I see on the GeForce support community. Is this something Adobe can fix?

"scan to network folder" suddently stopped working after many months of no issues

scan to network folder was working fine over a wireless network to a folder on my file server - for many months.
This weekend I noticed the printer said it was "updating".
I guess it must have done some kind of automated update or something because I did not initiate an update.
Suddenly scan to network folder fails to work.
When I try from the printer, it says cannot connect to \\computer\folder
When I test from the embedded web server on the printer "Connection Failed"
The folder is online. I can access it from another computer.
I have also tried setting up a second folder config using the IP address as \\x.x.x.x\folder(The first 3 sets of digits in the IP addresses are the same for printer and network server) I even tried setting up anoter account to authenticate to the file server with a simpler password for testing purposes to rule out typographical errors. I have tried bouncing the printer, the router, the network server and the wireless access point all to no avail. It looks like the printer is failing to find the network server anymore.Pity there is no "ping" option on the printer to test if it can even see the network server anymore. I can "scan to computer" to another computer on the wirless network.But I like the convenience of being able to scan to a defined network folder whether my other computer is turned on or not. Does anyone know if HP pushed out a printer update this week or something?Just wondering why it suddenly changed.

Mail Server suddenly stopped working

My mail server has stopped working, and I can't figure out why. This is a brand new MacMini with the latest Maverics Server (preinstalled) that I just setup last month. (We migrated from an Xserve running 10.6.) Up to this point, mail has worked flawlessly.
This afternoon I used the Server app to create a new user. I then went about setting them up for ssh access and installing a public/private keypair (this is for a git repository). Around the same time, my mail server simply stopped working. As far as I know, no other configuration changes were made.
When I go into the Mail service in the Server app the status perpetually says "Starting...". The 'postfix status' command says that postfix is not running. I've checked every log and error file, and I can only find three anomolies:
The SMTP log file reports:
Feb 11 01:31:06 mail.gloaming.com postfix/postmap[7152]: warning: /Library/Server/Mail/Data/scanner/amavis/local_domains.db: duplicate entry: "mail.gloaming.com"
This warning has been logged before, several weeks earlier, so I assume it's not a serious problem.
The other warning is:
Feb 11 00:10:49 mail.gloaming.com postfix/postfix-script[23141]: warning: not owned by _postfix: /Library/Server/Mail/Data/mta/./guid_device_maps.plist
Other threads seem to indicate that this warning is benign.
The only other problem that looks really suspicious (to me) is in the system.log:
Feb 11 01:22:52 mail.gloaming.com ocspd[4947]: ERROR: unable to get the receiver data from the DB!
I'm not sure what that means, but it doesn't sound good.
Some threads point a finger at the virus and junk mail scanners. If I disable all mail filtering, the mail server status will finally change to "Serving mail at mail.gloaming.com". But it isn't. All attempts to get mail from the server are refused.
(Oh, and I've restarted the server several times.)
The postconf command tells me that the postfix system isn't accepting outside connections:
inet_interfaces = loopback-only
So it would appear that Server is setting this. Any attempt to change it back to "= all" fails, as the server software overwrites it with "= loopback-only" at its first possible opportunity. (Editing the main.cf file and reloading postfix doesn't fix it either.)
Here's the really strange part. The server just started do this today. I recovered a backup of the main.cf file from yesterday and diffed it with the one that's not working:

As you can see, the Server software has deliberatly started setting inet_interfaces to loopback-only and I can't figure out how to get it to set it back to "all".
Some of the other threads have suggested "wipe and reinstall", but I've spent three weeks setting up this sever and shipping it to a co-location facility—starting over really isn't an option.
I'd really just want to know why the Server software is suddently configuring the mail server so it won't receive any mail!

The mystery continues.
This morning, I decided to take a fresh look at what's going on by recovering a backup copy of my entire /Library/Server/Mail/Config directory from last month. Looking at the item capture list, it shows that none of the files in my Mail/Config directory have changed since late last month.
Here are the disturbing changes.
In Server/Mail/Config/dovecot/dovecot.conf, there is one different line.
working:
     protocols = imap pop3 lmtp sieve
now:
     protocols = lmtp sieve
So clearly, the server doesn't think we should be running IMAP or POP. Which is probably the root of the problem.
In Server/Mail/Config/postfix/mail.cf, there are a number of minor/cosmetic differences, but the problematic ones appear to be
working:
     inet_interfaces = all
     mydestination = $myhostname, localhost.$mydomain, localhost, mail.gloaming.com, $mydomain
now:
     inet_interfaces = loopback-only
     mydestination = $myhostname, localhost.$mydomain, localhost, mail.gloaming.com
Again, this configuration would imply that there are no public mail services.
Some other odd change occured in the Server/Mail/Config/postfix/main.cf file
working:

Reading through some other posts, I also found another inexplicable change reported by other users having similar problems. The /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.postfix.master.plist suddenly changed.

The postfix service is now "OnDemand" with a new, and myserious, "-e 60" option added. (I can find no documentation for an -e option in the postfix control tool.)
Ultimately, I "fixed" the problem by restoring the backup copy of my entire /Library/Server/Mail/Config folder, the /System/Library/LaunchDaemon/org.postfix.master.plist file, and immedately restarting the server. The mail servers started and everything appears to be normal.
But this whole experience has made me very learly of the Server app. Why did these configuration changes occur? What settings or circumstances caused them to spontaniously change to an, essentually, unusable state? I'm now afriad of making any changes via Server.app for fear it will decide I shouldn't have a working mail server again.
If anyone has any insights, I'd ver very interested in hearing them.

ERROR! My Skype has stopped working

I am currently having problem with my skype. My skype was working fine until I updated the latest version. After I installed the new version, my skype stopped working. I was able to sign in into my account but when it was loading the homepage, suddently the program is not responding then, notification of "Your Skype has stopped working" popped up. I have tried uninstalling the software and install the new one several times but same notification still popps up. Please i need to fix this error ASAP cause I'm using it for my work. HP Pavilion dv7 2230ev , quick launch touch buttons stopped working

Hi, i own a HP Pavilion dv7 2230ev for th past month and one day the quick launch touch buttons stopped working(sound volume,wifi,music player). i used them for a month with no problem and suddently -no fall or software change- they stopped working, i even did the HP recovery to factory settings from the backup partition and still no change.99% its a hardware fail but i want to avoid giving it to hp service center,i was told they had a 20day wait,just to look at it...any ideas?

Hulu stopped working...

I have windows7 running Mozilla 3.06 and I had been running Adobe Flash 10.32. No problems as of 4-24. Suddenly today (4-26) Hulu stops working--not only on my Windows 7 but also on my Windaows XP laptop also running flash 10.32 with Mozilla 3. Now if this was just a 64 bit issue, wouldn't it still work on my XP laptop? I updated my desktop to Flash 10.45, but that made no difference. Incidentally, I am having problems with the flash at mlb.com (but not at bat player), but nothing else.
Clearly there are issues with compatibility at certain sites and there needs to be dialog among these site locations to work them out. A show I cannot watch at Hulu, for example, I can watch at ABC.com.

I wonder does forging the User agent as if you were Internet Explorer 7 on Windows XP make a difference? They may be discriminating based on the browser in some way perhaps?

I use windows vista and I have upgraded my itunes. Now when I open it, it gives me a message saying "itunes has stopped working" and then gives me a message saying it will notify me for a solution. What can I do to fix this so it can open and not give me any more problems???

First you can try;
Try restarting PC and run itunes again!
If error again than perform clean instal of itunes (uninstal first and than instal again)!
