Tracking point in after to put in flash

Hye,
I have made a tracking in after effects and I would like to paste my key point in a clip in flash cs3
is it possible ?
Benoit

No. Only AE CS4 and Flash CS4 can exchange animation data via the XFL format. However, there may be scripts/ code for Flash that can parse your animation data, if from the clipboard you paste it to a tab-delimited text file or Excel worksheet.

  • Moving Groups of Tracking Points after Motion Tracking

I ran the motion tracking on some footage, and watched the tracking closely to keep the square on the person that I am tracking.  However, once I applied the tracking data to the null layer, and attached that to the adjustment layer (which has gausian blur enabled) a lot of the tracking points are way off.
The footage starts off fine, but then huge groups of tracking points 1000's of frames in length are off where the live tracking points were by a large margin.  Is there a way to mass edit these points to bring them back to their proper place, or is the only solution going frame by frame and point by point to bring them back into their proper position?
This is on a Windows Desktop machine running Windows 7 and After Effects CS4.  If you need any other information, just ask.

Pre-compose the tracking data to a solid in a sub-comp and use that as an adjustment layer. You are simply seeing expexted behavior since you are creating a mismatch between adjustment layer dimensions vs. your footage/ comp dimensions and do not compensate for that. You can of course also try to do just that by using expressions like
    X=position[0]+offset;
    Y=position[1]+offset;
    [X,Y]
Where you replace the offset with numerical values. That may not necessarily solve your problem, though, so try the first suggestion.

  • How to disable IBM Thinkpad 600X's tracking point ?!

    To whom it may concern:
How are you? This is Daniel. I have an IBM Thinkpad 600X notebook. The tracking point already doesn't work. I want to disable it and use an external mouse. Could you please give me a favor how to solve this problem? According to IBM manual, "Holding F1 and turn on the system, then modify its BIOS !!!". I already try serval times, but this method doesn't work, the screen always show me "ERROR CODE 8611" at first, and then automatically enter into Windows XP system. NEVER SHOW ME ITS BIOS MANUAL !!!. I think perhaps there has an another HOTKEY to wake up the BIOS. I am looking forward to your help. Have a good day.
    With best regards,
    Daniel

Yes, it can be hard to gain access to the BIOS when the Trackpoint error (8611) occurs. About the best thing I can suggest, short of removing the keyboard, would be to hold down the F1 key, while at the same time applying constant pressure on the Trackpoint in one direction (up, down, left or right) before you turn the laptop on. Continue to hold the F1 key and applying pressure on the Trackpoint while the system boots. You should eventually see the Easy-Setup (BIOS) menu. Then you can release the key and Trackpoint. Note that you may not be able to select the BIOS menu options with the Trackpoint; use the arrow key instead. When the selected option is highlighted, press the Enter key.
To (semi-)permanently disable the Trackpoint you need to access the "Config" menu and then press the CTRL-D key. That will bring up a hexadecimal display, "System Configuration Edit Utility". You then need to change the value in the third row and first column (i.e., offset 200) from the "02" that is already there to "01". Again, use the arrow keys to move the cursor to that location and then type in 01. Once that's done, press the F2 key (Save) and the screen will flash and the cursor will return to the 000 location. Then press the Escape key twice. That will put you back to the main BIOS display. Use the arrow keys and select the Restart option and confirm it.
The Trackpoint should stay disabled until you reset the BIOS. That's what I mean by semi-permanently. If for any reason you need to re-enable the Trackpoint at a later date, change the "01" back to "02" or simply choose the Initialize option in the BIOS Config menu.

  • Reverse Color Key and Track Points

In preparing for a more complex project, I've made a simple 3D scene using 3dsmax with a background and two spheres which are not visible just yet. The 3D camera then moves to view the two spheres which have a green circular area textured over each for color keying in after effects.
I then want to place two separate video clips (personal interviews) in each green area of the spheres, but I don't know how to do this. I don't want to add the video clips in 3dsmax as a texture cuz the quality would not be as good, since they would be textures.
I was thinking of having the 3d scene as the background layer in AE, and put clip1 in green area on sphere1 and use track points to track the movement of the sphere so clip1 would follow along inside sphere1's green area.
Am I on the right track with this, or can someone offer a suggestion on how to do this, as I haven't been able to get it to work?

  • How do I get more motion tracking points in analyzation?

    Hi Everyone,
I am having the problem that when I try  to stabilize footage in AF3, the analyzation points that are created are at least half as much as see in tutorials done with the same footage online. Why is that? How can I create more analyzation points? When I say analyzation points they come in the form form of generated anchor points in the timeline.
    -Digital_Toronto
The below is an example where I noticed I wasn't getting the same amount of analyzation points, as the tutorial in After Effects I tried to replicate below:
    http://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/stabilize_shaky_footage/

    Hi Aldolfo,
Thanks for the response. Actually what I did is I went through Andrew tutorial myself to
see if I could do it exactly as he did. What I found in tracking the same footage used
in the tutorial, I got maybe 1/3 of the tracking points. Somehow I don't think this is
normal and that's why I wondering how I can increase the track points or find out
    what's wrong.

  • 3D camera track points not displaying correctly

Just bought a new iMac and am re-installing all of my programs including Creative Cloud programs. I am having an issue with After Effects not displaying all the track points when I use the 3D camera tracker. I get maybe 6-10 points displaying but that is it. They are there because I can still create nulls, solids, shadow catchers, etc... but the points themselves will not display. I have used the camera tracker in the past with no problems at all. Any idea why this would be going on? Here are my iMac specs...

Try some of your older footage. Some footage produces very few tracking points, other footage produces a lot. Sometimes you need to scale up the size of the track points to see more of them. A screen shot would help us diagnose your problems.

  • Has anyone solved or worked around the After Effects CC red flash frame glitch?

I can't find any mention on any forums of the After Effects CC red flash frame glitch later than Feb. 2014. I just installed 12.2 (which was my first CC version) on my macpro and started getting the red flash frames randomly, but with increasing frequency, in my projects. I have never had this problem before on any previous computer or version for AE. The forums I've read have referenced ProRes source footage, outputs to ProRes, and lens blur. My project uses all of these things.
If there is a universally accepted solution/work around, I haven't seen it definitively. Do I not use ProRes source footage? Do I not render to ProRes 4444? Do I not use the lens blur effect? Do I give up and go back to CS6?

    Hi Keith,
I have the "same" issue with the red frames in AFX CC
I have seen them first, as I resized a prores4444 HD to a smaller format and saw the redframes in the preview window.
Setup in AFX: I created a comp from the HD Prores4444 footage and put this comp in a comp with resolution of 960x540.
The output format was again prores4444.
I shuttled through the clips in the small comp and I saw the red frames too.
When I switched to the HD comp at the same position everything was fine.
I "solved" the problem by flushing the cache, twice. Because after the first purge I was only able to render the first clip. The second one had the red frame problematic again.
Maybe It has something to do with hardware accelerated layers.
    I'm using a MacPro running OSX 10.8.5 with a Nvidia GTX680.
    Cheers
    Michael

  • Camera tracked points not showing up

    Hey.
I am familiar with the built in Camera Tracker in After Effects and I have had no problems with it up untill this point.
My problem is that after the 3D Camera Tracker is done analyzing the frames, the track points does not show up on the screen.
If i check on "Render Track Points", they do show up, but when i check it off again, the points disappear again, so that doesn't help me at all.
I got 8 gb ram and a decent graphics card.
Does anyone know a solution to my problem?
    Thanks in advance.

  • AE CC 2014 Camera Tracker Not Allowing Me To Create Nulls From Track Points

    After Effects CC 2014
    iMac OS X Version 10.9.5
    Pro: 3.2 CHz IC i5
    32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB
I have been trying to use AE's camera tracker for two days and while it will track, show the track points, and even create a camera... It will not allow me to right click the track points to create nulls and it will not show any of the plain targets. My work around was to upload my footage (Red Epic footage) to the older AE CC, re set up all my ins and outs, track the footage, save it, and open it up back in AE CC 2014. Then it allows me to create track points and such.
Great that I found a work around but takes so much time. Please help me if you can. Thanks!
    Chris

There is obviously some bug regards of resolution of tracked footage, because if you precompose e.g. Epic 5K footage to HD comp and camera 3D track this comp then all works OK (points are displayable, selectable and camera is "addable"(?)).
But I don't know "trigger" resolution value, when it works, and when not.

  • No content after successfully installing Adobe Flash

Spent most of the day trying to get content displayed on
Yahoo movies and news website after installing Adobe Flash several
times. Keep getting same messages that I need to install Adobe
Flash. Followed instructions provide by Adobe and Darren McNally on
    Windows XP. Any suggestions?

If you’re having difficulties with the ActiveX
installer on IE these steps will typically resolve the issue:
Try this first: Instructions for uninstalling and
    reinstalling the Flash Player:
    1. First download the uninstaller to your desktop from here
    http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14157
    2. Before running this uninstaller be sure to read the
instruction and close all running programs.
    3. Open the following folder
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash
    4. Run the uninstaller
    5. What files are left in this folder?
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash
    6. If there are files left, delete the Flash folder.
    7. Install the Flash Player from here: ]
    http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer
    8. Test the Flash Player here:
    http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/
Also check your Internet Explorer ActiveX settings
Browser security settings should be chosen by you or by your
system administrator. For single users who do not have an
administrator, the Medium: Default Level allows you to view Flash
content. For any Custom Level, ensure that both the "Download
Signed ActiveX controls" and "Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins"
    options are set to "Prompt".
    To change your security level:
    1. Open Internet Explorer.
    2. Choose Tools > Internet Options.
    3. Select the Security tab.
    4. Select Custom Level.
    5. Find the section "ActiveX controls and plug-ins".
    6. Set ' Download Signed ActiveX Controls' to Prompt.
    7. Set 'Run ActiveX Controls And Plug-ins' to Prompt.
If you are having trouble, make sure that your Internet
Explorer security level is not set to High or to a custom level
that does not allow viewing of ActiveX controls.
Finally, it may be that you have incorrect permissions in the
    system registry:
To fix these Windows system registry permission conflicts you
    can use Microsoft’s SubInACL tool.
Please download Microsoft’s tool to your desktop.
    http://www.supportflash.com/reset_min.zip
    1. Login as the User that has the incorrect permissions in
    the system registry
    2. unzip the “reset_minimal.cmd” and the
    “subinacl.exe” to the desktop
*** Make sure both files are on the desktop
    3. Close out all applications
    4. Run the “reset.cmd” file
    5. It will open a DOS like terminal and start running through
    registry keys
    6. When it is finished it will say “press any key to
    continue”
    7. At this point you can download the latest Flash Player
    from here:

  • Stabilizing horizon without usable track points

I shot some timelapse sequence on a cruise ship, some of the sequences are just simply the sky and horizon.
import the raw file in after effect and try to stabliize the movement of horizon in aftter effect but it doesn't work.
as it has no usable tracking points, searching answers in the forum here, but couldn't to find any.
and try Google for solution, found a solution seem workable.
    http://ssontech.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=4624&sid=c1ab93e031205bf1d6e8495c8feaa835
    and the youtube tutorial, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ACKLf_Nk0E
but the thing is I'm very new to after effect, not sure how to do this in after effect, once I open wrap stablizer, the layer with two vertical lines will not show up in wrap stablizer.
    can help me on this?
    thank you.

You completely misunderstand. You don't use the Warp Stabilizer, you use the conventional 2D tracker and do a rotation track or use the 3D camera tracker - the latter of which may simply not work in AE because unlike in SynthEyes you can't manually place tracking points to enforce tracking specific features. And your lines probably don't show up because you simply drew guides or straight mask paths, which by themselves are non-rendering. You have to make them visible using a stroke effect or instead draw your lines with something like the Beam effect. Pre-composing or even pre-rendering may be necessary to get proper tracking results.

  • How do you add the motion path of a tracking point to a separate clone stamp?

How do you add the motion path of a tracking point to a clone stamp without the clone stamp assuming the same initial/continuous positions of the tracking point?
Is there a way to keep the clone stamp's initial position and then add the path onto it?
I am using the clone stamp to remove unwanted duct tape that was used to keep lights on a wall.

I have spent two days trying to find a solution to this exact same problem. I have seen some overly complex solutions that probably work but trying to figure out the explanations is like trying to understand someone describe drag coefficients of rotary wing aircraft. While I am sure they work, they are way above my comprehension. I wanted an intuitive and straight forward solution for something that shouldn't require some arcane technique to fix.
    What I did:
    1) I used the Clone Stamp tool to paint over the spot on the wall I wanted to remove.
    2) picked a more easily discernible point of reference for Tracking. In my case, I used a poster on the wall.
    3) As per the instructions here, https://www.video2brain.com/en/lessons/removing-an-object-with-clone-stamp, I pasted the Attach Point data from the Tracker into Clone -> Transform - > Position
However, that didn't work for me as the object I was painting was not the object I was tracking. The solution from the video was simply moving my cloned spot to the tracked object instead of leaving it where I wanted it. So...
    4)  I then manually adjusted the Anchor Point of the Clone back to the original spot I wanted to cover.
I played footage and the cloned region successfully moved with the spot I was covering.
This is what I was able to figure out. I'm not an advanced user. I only use After Effects every couple of months when I need to fix minor things in footage, so I've only learned to use what techniques I need for the job at hand. No doubt, experienced users may shake their heads at my simplistic fix. I'm sure my technique would be wholly inadequate for situations far more complex than fixing spots on a gray wall, which is why my eyeballs cross when reading suggestions that seem way more involved than one would expect for something as seemingly minor as this. It's just a spot! It should be super easy to remove, right? Well, that's what I was looking for and that's what I came up with. I hope it helps.
