Hi,
No Standard report is available for your requirement.  Nearby report for this is MB5B but it is not in tabular form.
Go for Z-Report development by copying MB5B program & modifying it as per your requirement & show the output in ALV Form.
We have done the same for our requirement.

  • Stock ledger group

    hi all,
Can you please let me know on what basis Stock ledger group is assigned to material document.
I can see the Stock ledger group assigned to amt doc  in the table -  l/BEV2/EDMSE.
But from where it is assigned and on what basis ?
    Regards,
    Chandan

    Hi,
During document selection, the system processes and evaluates each material document item. The system uses the following step to select the documents:
The system assigns the material document items to the relevant tax type.
    ·        The system assigns the material document items to a stock ledger group.
You can modify the assignment to a stock ledger group for specific customers. To do this you use reference stock ledger groups. You can also replace stock ledger groups (Customizing table Replace Stock Leger Groups).
Basis for the assignment of stock ledger group to material document:
Based on the data from the order/goods issue, purchase order/goods receipt, material, storage locations, and other movement data, the system assigns the material document to a stock ledger division u2013 and a stock ledger sub-division if necessary u2013 and to a stock ledger group. The previously determined ED movement category ascertains the analysis method.
The system assigns reversal postings and original movements to the same stock ledger group. The quantity is simply entered with a different +/- sign than the original movement. For more clarity please follow below link. I hope this will resolve your issue. Thanking you.

  • Inventory Audit Report Vs Stock Ledger

    Dear All,
While doing the A/P Invoice, Tax portion is not including in Inventory Audit Report. Below is the Case
    1. Added GRPO with TAX
            Ex : 10 Qty * 10.00 =100.00 @ VAT4% =104.00
                      Stock 100 Dr
                      GRNI  100 Cr
    2. At A/P Invoice I have changed VAT4 as VAT0 & that amount I had included in Base Price since in GRPO, Tax portion is taken by mistake.
                      Vendor 104.00 Cr
                       GRNI    100.00 Dr
                       Stock      4.00  Dr
But while checking in Inventory Audit Report that VAT amount is not reflecting in Stock G/L but in Ledger its showing. Due to this my Stock Ledger is not matching with Inventory Audit Report.
Can any one tell me why this is happening................. & how to rectify.........
    Thanks in Advance
    Chakrapani Bandaru

    hi Chakrapani,
In A/P Invoice generally , the rounding amount hits the stock account.
I guess inventory revaluation will help you in this because Finished Product is an offset account to STOCK REVALUATION LOSSES AND GAINS ACCOUNT IN THIS TRANSACTION.
    Try this in demo DB.
    thanking you

  • Clarifications about RMS Stock Ledger hierarchy

    Hi,
We are currently designing the stock ledger hierarchy and would like to clarify some topics:
    - Under one SoB can we configure locations with different currencies?
    - The same Org Unit can be assigned to more than one set of books
    - Can we assign the same supplier to different org units?
    - Can we assign the same supplier to different SoB?
    thanks,
    José

    - Under one SoB can we configure locations with different currencies?
You need a separate set of books for each currency
    - The same Org Unit can be assigned to more than one set of books
No, a set of books can have multiple org units attached but each org unit can only belong to one set of books.
    - Can we assign the same supplier to different org units?
    - Can we assign the same supplier to different SoB?
If using EBS, you have to use supplier sites.
If using EBS, you cannot attach the same supplier to different org units, but you can create different supplier sites and attach each of those to a different org unit.
You can only raise purchase orders for a supplier that is in the same org unit as the location i.e. if you have different sets of books, and can order from the same supplier, you would need to setup a separate supplier site for each set of books.
If not using EBS, you need to ensure the MSOB and supplier sites match those used in the GL of the accounting system in use.

  • Stock ledger needed

    Hi,
Stock ledger needed. With date wise details, containing information opening stock, date, party, receipt, issue and balance.
    regards,

Actually there are numerous reports available under Inventory Management in the Information System section. Ones that come to mind are MB5B and MB5L. However there are a large number of other reports, all of which can be changed to suit you requirements using display variants.

  • Stock Ledger Report in Day Wise not giving correct values for Opening Stock

    Dear Experts,
I m working on Sock ledger report to give the day wise data.
since yesterdays closing Stock will become opening stock of today,
    To get Opening Stock,
I have restricted the stock key figure with 2 variables on calday
(DATE FROM var with <=(Lessthan or equal to) and offset -1
DATE TO      var with <=(Lessthan or equal to) and offset -1)
    To get Closing Stock,
I have restricted the Stock key figure with 2 variables on calday
(DATE FROM var with <=(Lessthan or equal to)
DATE TO      var with <=(Lessthan or equal to) )
But in the output Opening stock values are not coming correctly and for given range of dates,
for last date, opening stock is showing as Zero.
Could you please tell me how can I achieve the correct values for opening stock.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Arjun,
Seems like you are making it more complicated. What is your selection screen criteria?
Ideally you should only use the offset.
You will have say Calday in rows and stock in Column
    ____________Opening Stock_____________Closing Stock
    01/06/2009___(Closing stock of 31/05/2009)_(Stock of 01/06/2009)
    02/06/2009___(Closing stock of 01/06/2009)_(Stock of 02/06/2009)
    03/06/2009___(Closing stock of 02/06/2009)_(Stock of 03/06/2009)
So, from above scenario, create one RKFs and include Calday in it. Create a replacement path variable on calday and apply the offset as -1.
So, your Opening Stock will be calculated by closign stock of previous day.

  • Material wise Daily Stock Report

    Hi ABAP Guru's
I got a requirement to develop an report which lists the stock(Opening Stock and Closing stock) for each material of a plant in given date range.whose Values to be matched with either MB5B or MC.9 Tcodes.I have found few tables for Stock like MBEW,MARD but those values are not matching with the Transactions. Can u tell me exactly how can i develop this report.? I'll be very thankful if u do the same.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Rahul.

    Hi
In MC.9 it will show both stock quantity and value in storage locationwise. But from MBEW you will get it only in plantwise not in storage locationwise. In S032 you can see quantity field is always correct but value field will be wrong because it's not correctly updating there. To match with MC.9 what you have to do is you should calculate both quantity and value logically in the program. In detail you can get quantity and unit price from the MBEW table (Check unit price field i forgotten) and see the quantity in each storage location and then do a multiplication... Also check the movement type values are mathing or not all the time..U Can Use MB51 transaction for this purpose.....Also take values from table s032, and mard...
Before doing "Stock Ledger Report" take care of so many things..From Mbew you are getting current stock quantity and value in "Plantwise". Give today's date in MC.9 or in MB5B or in MC50(check all plants cumulated checkbox), i am very sure this figure's will match...Now if you need to display only todays quantity and value you can direclt display this..But if you want a perfect stock ledger report this one will not work..I mean if u need the faculity like get the stock quantity and value of a material in the past date no table's will store this entry you have to apply logic.
The logic is you know today's stock quantity and value..Also you know all the Purchase and consumption happened in this period.(Bwart in mseg table)..Now do back-calculation until your date reaches..Be clear with the point, for eg: 01.01.2007's opening stock = 31.12.2006's closing stock. And Yesterdays closing stock = todays' stock + All the purchase - all the consumption..(Purchase and consumption you can calculate from bwart field..) ...Like this do back-calculation upto your selection-screen date....You can get it...Revert back if you are still not able to solve this, because i have done it previously...

  • How to implement a General Ledger in Dynpro

Has anyone tried to implement a general ledger in Dynpro using a table?
In a general ledger, you want the time dimension going across the top in separate columns, and tracked items going down the left hand side.
The trouble is, the Dynpro table only binds context elements to a column rather than having the option of binding to a row. I can see why this is, but it is still makes life difficult for me.
Like the table, my data is coming in on a column by column basis with the first column being the date, followed by all the stock ledger items pertaining to that date.
I want to display a full fiscal year on one page so this means having twelve columns for each of the fiscal months, and one column for the line item names (units sold, inventory, value of sales ... etc)
One idea for implementing this was to create a generic structure containing twelve attributes. Each attribute would contain the values associated with a particular fiscal month. I would then create a node in my view context based on this structure and bind each column in my table to the corresponding fiscal month attribute in this structure.
Upon loading the stock ledger data, I would create a series of node instances for each one of my stock ledger items and copy the data into the appropriate attribute.
This procedure seems REALLLY complex and I am hoping there is someone out there who may have a simpler solution.
    Any suggestions?

Just an adendum to this thread.
I have now got the display working correctly for this application ...ie. the fiscal periods are displayed in columns and the attributes for each fiscal period are displayed row by row.
Now I am faced with the challenge of update the data on the database once it is edited by the users.
I can check the .isChangedByClient flag to tell which rows were edited but I also need to know which column(s) were edited since they contain the data that needs to be passed to my update routine.
So far the only way I can think of implementing this is to maintain a parallel copy of the ledger and do a comparison of the "before" and "after".  With this information I generate my own list of edited columns.  YUCK!
Perhaps if there was a validation event that was fired whenever a cell was changed then I could hook into that and maintain my own "isChanged" list of columns but I don't see anything like that.
    Any suggestions?

  • Using stock photos in photoshop, resolution, size

Hi. In PS CS4 on XP.
I wanted to know what the deal is with stock photo sites.
I have copied a stock photo before from the web, pasted it in Photoshop (which would place it in a new document) & it would be whatever the size the photo is at 72 dpi.
I made a second blank document, letter size @300 dpi. I have dragged the stock photo onto the new document and it looks and prints clear (especially since I only needed the photo an inch by an inch)
I guess my question is, do I really need to purchase the medium or high resolution photos @300 dpi if needing a small size? Especially if they are $300-400??
What is wrong with the low resolution @72 dpi placed on a 300 dpi document (again, if needing a smaller size only).
    Now, I have another concern.
I often will blow up images at 300dpi large (for trade show displays) and they are usually originally in the 6-8" range and are enlarged about 3x that size and do come out clear. I just was wondering I guess if you see a stock image thats for example these prices/sizes (below) can't you just get the medium one. Is there really a need to purchase the very high resolution images?:
      $ 325.00 USD
    Medium resolution300 dpi | 4.7 x 7.1 in | 1415 x 2123 px
      $ 425.00 USD
    High resolution300 dpi | 8.6 x 12.9 in | 2577 x 3867 px
      $ 475.00 USD
    Very high resolution300 dpi | 11.3 x 17 in | 3399 x 5100 px
I just feel ripped off sometimes. That's part of why I use iStock, but they have the same options.
    Thank you. just wondering!
(ps- not looking to steal web photos, but I often will use them as placeholders til deciding to buy)

    hi Stella,
I work for a trade show display company and get asked about image resolution and "how much do I need" on a regular basis...
The short answer is, it depends...
You need as much as you need, and it depends on your standards, and what you want and are willing to accept.
When pictures get blown up (especially for trade show display graphics), if the image resolution isn't high enough, they will look pixelated (that is, you will see the individual pixels and the image will look "chunky")... We see this a lot when people pull low-resolution images off the web. To explain the problem, we made a page with pictures that show what happens (sometimes a picture is much easier to understand than a lot of words). You can see it here: ( http://www.pinnacledisplays.com/image-resolution.htm )
So you need your images to be high enough in image resolution so they won't pixelate.
But if the image is something like a sunset, then you can get away with much lower resolution.
But if it is a computer circuit board with fine detail, you need a LOT of resolution.
It also depends if you are going to look at it from a distance, or if you want to be able to look at it up close.
And it depends on if the photographer took a good (focused) picture in the first place!
As for your comment on istock versus more traditional stock photography websites, we generally recommend people look at istock first since the images are much less expensive there. But you won't always find what you want, and you want to make sure the image is high quality, so it's also good to look at the traditional sites, if your budget permits.
And if you really like the image and think you may use it for multiple things, it is better so spend the money for the highest resolution image rather than deciding you need it later and have to buy a second higher version image.
Hope some of my rambling comment helps! Steve
