Hi Experts,
I have to group trainINgs Department wise.
Like Power Plan Department has courses like Basic Course, Expert Course.
In basic courses we have training programs & also under expert course we have we have training programs.
And for induction all the employees have to go through some set of trainings initially before joining companny.
Their are external training also in each department. How to cater internal and external training requirement.

Dear all,
Wish you all a very Happy new year.
I hve two questions.
1. For e.g. there is one trainer who has conducted many training program in an org and business event appraisal has been performed where there is criteria to capture instructor information. Then how I can get a report for that trainer only. There is one selection criteria in the report of business event appraisal where I can select the instructor(appraisee) id. But it is not working.
2. When there are more than one instructor in one business event, then how attendee appraisal and business event appraisal are done?
3. In training & event mgt is it possible to perform periodic appraisal?

There is no SAP standard report on Trainer wise attendance history for this purpose you have to define the Adhoc query.
When there are more than one instructor in one business event it is a tough scenario to have attendee appraisal .
In TEM it is possible to have periodic Appraisals.

Hi Experts,
I would like to know if there is any BAPI/ FM available to create a Business Event Under particular Busness Group and Type.
I have Some more things to have a clarification on
1. When we create Business Event in PV10, Where all the data is stored? is there any master table which holds the all values in that screen? or values are stored in separate tables? if they are in separate tables, may i now what are them and the associated infotypes also.
I debugged the Tcode to find out which FM?BAPI is getting Called while saving the data, but could not find the exact one
Please let me know the FM/BAPI to create a business Event

When I am doing follow up through transaction PV15, I am getting error message event not started yet.

You can only do follow-up of Business event on or after the date that the Business event has been scheduled to take place, and has been firmly booked.
Such as if the Buseiness event is for 30 th Dec 2011, you can do follow-up on 30th Dec 2011 or after this date.

Hi all,
For training and event management, I have to create a new type of attendee besides sap existing attendee type such as company, contact person, customer, external person and so on.
Via IMG -> Training and event management -> basic settings -> object type modeling enhancement -> object type -> define object types, then how can I define OrgObj Type for new object type I want to create?

WCCS_AHR_61016216 - Cancellations per Attendee , i think there is no standard report for cencelation of business events, type and group.
for cancellations per attendee reports is available in the system.

Problem with External List Management; Business Partner Type
Hello experts;
I created a mapping format for importing a simple notepad file. In the ELM i see all my fields populated correctly. Once i start the importing process it goes smoothly with no mistakes at all (green lights). The bp is actually imported and i can see it in the BP transaction with most of the fields correctly imported BUT the business partner type (PERS_PERS_BPKIND in ELM). For this field i have a Constant Assignment which is always HH and because of that i don't have it in my notepad file but i pass the value directly from ELM constant assignement=HH. Unfortunately this value is not copied. Any idea? Am i doing something wrong or i'm loosing some steps in between?

the issue is most probably related to missing authorizations. As you know the processing in external list management happens in the background using WF-BATCH user.

Error in Event manager(TermServDevices)(Event ID 1111.)
Hi,
I am getting this error every hour when ever i see the logs. i get the same error "TermServDevices" 1111. Under This its says
1) "Driver HP LaserJet P1008 required for printer HP LaserJet P1008 is unknown. Contact the administrator to install the driver before you log in again."
2) "Driver EPSON TM-U210D required for printer !!cbkit!cbkit is unknown. Contact the administrator to install the driver before you log in again."
How i resolve this

Convention flag on Infotype 1029 (Business Event Type Info)
Hi,
I need to use this functionality of checking the convention flag & specify that my business event type is a multi-session event consisting of multiple sessions running in parallel.
However, this indicator does not even appear for me.
I am using TEM (ECC 6.0) & not LSO (I am aware that LSO does not support marking a course type as convention)
I need to use this functionality & am looking for any inputs on how to get this to display for me.

But no information on displaying this falg.

Attendance Requested Status in Training & Event Management
Hi Friends,
In Training & Event Management, the User goes to the u201CTraining Centeru201D in ESS to submit his nomination for a Business Event to the Immediate Superior. (Path : ESS, Training Center, Booking Offer, Add to Basket, To Basket, Proceed to Request, Request Attendance).
Now for that User, the Status comes as u201CAttendance Requestedu201D for that Business Event & a Workflow is triggered to his Immediate Superior for Approval.
When the User refreshes the screen or logs in the ESS again the Status u201CAttendance Requestedu201D for that Business Event vanishes although the Immediate Superior has not approved his Attendance Request.
It is desired that the Status u201CAttendance Requestedu201D should be displayed in the Users u201CMy Bookingsu201D till the Immediate Superior approves it.
Also it is desired to have a report of how many such u201CAttendance Requestedu201D nominations are pending for a specific Business Event.
Pls advise.

2. if you want training schedule you have to go img-training and event management-business event preparation-define time schedule if you enteer into that you should in the first coloumn any number for ex 01 3 day schedule and you have to select this and click on day segment in day segment give normal again select normal and click day schedule there you should give start and end times of the schedules for morning,afternoon and evening and this time schedule you will assign to the business event type which comes under business event preparation

Do we have any option for Training Calendar in T&EM? Where can we create it?
My client has a requirement that if he designs a training calendar for a year or a quarter, relevant employees at supervisory level has to get mail about the designed training calendar. I hope this is possible through workflows. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Training & Event Management runs between objects like business event group, business event type, types of resources like internal and external and resources also comprises of objects like room, different equipments.
Mainly you have to concentrate on the objects and the relationships which they hold.
You have to maintain settings for the above mentioned objects. and different infotypes.
First understand your client requirements then you can proceed for trainings / events.
It starts with training nomination and ends with training / trainee appraisal between these two steps there are differenct processes which purely depends on client to client.

Training and Event Management uses cost items to determine and represent the costs incurred by business events. Cost items are also required when you want to transfer event costs to Cost Accounting, for internal activity allocation for instructors, and for determining a price proposal.
You store cost items for resources, resource types, business events, and business event types.
This cost move to relevant for cost centre.
Like eg: External instructor fee, Resources cost.manual fee, depreciation fee.

My client wants that users can see only courses of training and event management business catalog in ESS, they can't book or do any activities related to TEM. How we can put restriction for that requirement. We are using ITS services PV7I and PV8I.
