Transfer block of plant to another plant

Dear all
i want to transfer one material from block of storage location of plant to block of storage location of another plant, please guide me which one movement type should i use in transaction MIGO?
best regards

Cross-Plant Stock Transfer
In the case of a plant-to-plant stock transfer, the plants between which material is
transferred can belong either to the same company code or to different ones. As a
general rule, cross-plant stock transfers can only be booked out of unrestricted-use
stock.
In the one-step procedure, the goods issue and goods receipt are posted in a single
material document. You must therefore enter all relevant data, such as the material,
issuing plant, issung storage location, receiving plant, and receiving storage
location in this one step. The movement type (in the standard system) is 301.
In the case of the two-step procedure, when removing the material from storage
(movement type 303), you must specify the receiving plant in addition to the
material and the issuing organizational levels. This is necessary because valuation
of the stock transfer takes place when the material is removed from storage
and posted to stock in transfer at the receiving plant. You can either enter the
putaway (placement in storage, movement type 305) with reference to the material
document of the stock removal or enter all data manually. As a result of the
putaway, the quantity is booked out of stock in transfer and into unrestricted-use
stock at the receiving plant. Valuation of the putaway is not necessary, since the
stock in transfer and the unrestricted-use stock at the receiving storage location
belong to the same plant.
If you use STO, you can also post the
material to stock in quality inspection or to blocked stock.

  • Standard movement to transfer blocked batches to a different plant/center

I am trying to transfer blocked batches to a different plant/center where it is (from 2000 to 3000). Is there any standard movement which allows to move blocked batches to another plant/center without unblocking them?
    Thank you in advance.

    Prerequisites
For materials handled in batches, you can carry out stock transfers from plant to plant and from storage location to storage location as well as transfer postings from material to material.
An issuing batch and a receiving batch are always involved in a stock transfer or transfer posting of a batch material. The issuing batch number is copied as the receiving batch number (except in the case of a plant-to-plant stock transfer in two steps). The batch number can, however, still be changed.
    Stock Transfers in Two Steps
In a stock transfer from plant to plant using the two-step procedure, you enter only the receiving plant for the removal from storage. The stock in transfer is managed only at plant level in the receiving plant, independent of storage location and batches. You must enter the receiving storage location and the receiving batch when you post the placement into storage.
In a stock transfer from storage location to storage location using the two-step procedure, the receiving storage location and the receiving batch are already determined during the removal from storage.
After posting the removal from storage, the quantity is in stock in transfer. Stock in transfer is managed at plant level, as well as at storage-location level and batch level. As a consequence, you must enter the same receiving batch for the placement into storage. If you do not know the batch, enter * in the Batch field. The batch selection list is displayed. This list displays the stock in transfer for the batches in the Stock column.
    Procedure
You can post a transfer from batch to batch by entering a different batch for a stock transfer using the one-step procedure. To do this, proceed as follows:
From the Inventory Management menu, select Goods movement ® Transfer posting.
Maintain the data on the initial screen. Choose one of the following movement types:
u2013 Movement type ® Transfer posting ® Plant to plant ® Remove from storage/place in storage
u2013 Movement type ® Transfer posting ® Stor. loc. to stor. loc. ® Unrestr. to unrestr.
u2013 Movement type ® Transfer posting ® Material to material
To maintain the items directly on the item detail screen instead of on the collective entry screen, select Edit ® New item.
On the detail screen, you can enter an issuing and a receiving batch.
    Post the document.
In a transfer posting to a new batch, batch data (such as shelf life expiration date or vendor) is copied to the new batch. Classification data is copied as well.
In a transfer posting to an already existing batch, the data of the existing batch is retained.
Transfer Postings From Batch to Batch, With Status Management
In a transfer posting to a new batch, the new batch is given the status unrestricted use (even if the issuing batch has the status restricted use), unless the restricted-use status has been predefined by Quality Management.

  • Extend material master data from one plant to another plant

    hi,
how can i extend material master data from one plant to another plant.
is there any sap standard transaction for this ie. bdc/t-code.
    thanks in advance.......
    rahul

    Hi
If you want to extend the material form one plant to another then below are the possible options.
    1) MM01 - Use the material in the reference and fill in copy from and to then press enter to complete the extention. This is recommended only if you want to extend very less records.
    2) Use LSMW and record MM01 thru BDC recording available in LSMW and make the template in excel and convert it to .txt tab delimited format to upload more records.LSMW is the perfect tool and is used extensively in all the projects.
    3) Get the help from ABAPer to create upload program and include the BDC recording.
There is no standard T code available in SAP becoz data mainatenance in the material master will be based on the industry.
    Hope it will help.
    Thanks/Karthik

  • Which r things need to take care during merging one plant to another plant

    hello gurus,
which are the things we need to take care during merging of one plant into another plant.
here I listed few things, plz suggest me apart from this & correct me
    1. PM Master data (Funct Loc, Equipment, MM of Spare material, BOM/Assemblies, Work Centers,Measuring Points/
    counters, Class & Characteristics, etc)
    2. PM Plans & Task lists
plz let me know any other things which i missed & need to take care.
    thanks in advance...
    Regards,
    Amol.

    Hello Amol,
    Take of of following things:
    1. Structure indicator because two plants may have different structure indicator.
    2. Also take care of planning plant assignment, depends upon the type of planning (central, local or partially central).                3. Assignment of planning plant to maintenance orders types.
    4. Take care of locations and plant sections and their assignment
Merger is different from roll out. Here you will have to delete configurations rather than extention.

  • Copying Plant from another plant.

    Hi all,
I am creating a new plant referencing another plant from the same company code.
I completed that and found that the plant was not correctly coppied for some
Now is it OK if I delete newly created plant and try to re-create it in the system again by copying it from the other plant.
Or is it possible to get me the list of all the tables which are normally coppied when you copy plant from another plant.

If there are few accounting documents existing for the plant
Just copy the existing plant and rename it in ox10
    thanks

  • Excise for assets during transfer from one plant to another plant

    Hi SAP gurus,
Pls note i have an issue during tranfer of asset from one plant to another. When i tranfer asset from one plant to another , in my suppling plant i create an Excise invoice where EXCISE RECOVERY ACCOUNT (debit) is getting hit instead of CENVAT PAYABLE ACCOUNT ( debit).
What may be the issue ?
And in same ways during inward of the goods - MIGO at the receiving plant CENVAT CLEARING ACCOUNT (credit)  gets hit.
Now both Excise recovery account & cenvat clearing account are not gettiing nullified.
The Process is as given below.Should i change any step or do i have to configure something
    **Master Data**
    1.     Material code (UNBW) should be available in both plants with Sales views -MM01
    2.     Stock should be available otherwise upload the stock with 501 movements (UNBW). No impact on FI u2013 MB1C
    3.     Excise details maintained in both plants for the Material code as Asset u2013 J1ID
    Business Process:
    1.     Transfer the Credit of UNBW asset to the current financial year if not updated u2013 J2I8.
    2.     Create STO PO - for UNBW Material Code with Item category U and Document type ZSTO (Mention the Price which is the base for Tax calculation. This needs to be decided by UCAM. Normally it is the  first initial actual Price at which the asset was procured ) u2013 ME21N
    3.     Do outbound delivery -  VL10B
    4.     Do Vl02n PGI ( stock is reduced and NO FI Document, stock in transit in Receiving Plant)
    5.     Do VF01 with ZSTO billing type. Verify the Price and Tax details( NO FI Doc)
    6.     Do J1iin with reference to Billing doc, Excise values flows from Billing document and Excise  invoice is created. Now FI Document will be created
FI documents have the below entries:
    BED account credited u2013
    E Cess account credited u2013
    S Hecess   account creditedu2013
    Excise duty recovered  debited +
    7.     Do MIGO in receiving plant with reference to PO/Delivery note and by referencing the Excise Invoice and Date, Post it. Stock will be updated in receiving plant. NO FI document. Excise Entries appear in receiving plant
On hold Account + (50% of total duty)
    BED  + (50% of BED)
    Ecess + (50% of Ecess
    SHEcess + (50% of SHEcess)
    Cenvat Clearing  credited u2013
    8.     Transfer Credit in the next financial year  -J2I8 ( refer this separate business  process
    document)
    Pls guide
    Nandu

    Hello Nandu,
Please check the G/Ls assigned against CAGI and CAGR in "Specify Excise Accounts per Excise Transactions"  and "Specify G/Ls Accounts per Excise Transactions" configuration for Tax on Goods Movement > India.
The combination should help you arrive at the right G/L accounts.

  • Sales Order Stock Transfer from one plant to another plant

I am transfering sales order stock from one plant to another, using movement type 301E MIGO.
But when i go to Detail Data tab i found the Dst tab gray and only special stock field is appearing in grey there. So when I input all the data in from box it also copied in destination box. I also went to where tab page but the same data is appearing in both area from and destination.
In my opinion both area should be writeable, how can I make the detination detail available in there and should be writeable.
    Please advice.
    Best regards

    Hi,
Please go to MB1B in that give movement type as 301 and SP Stock as E and provide Plant Storage location and press enter...
as well in MIGO select the Transfer Posting and provide Movement type as 301E and press enter If in OMBW the plant and Storage location is Mandatory then it will not go ahead for Posting.s
    Try at your end.

  • Extending Materials one plant to another plant

    Dear Friends
while extending material through LSMW to another plant  we facing problem :
Sales : Sales Org 1 showing more fields mandatory like  1,valid from;  2. X-distr Chain Status  3. Sales Unit of Mesasure etc.  LSMW programme was OK   i did more times through this programme to extended. i maintained the below fields only in LSMW.  BUT while i extending material through MM01 there is no problems showing.  please advice how to solve this.  i want to extend more than 10K material in to new plants.
    TABNAME     Table Name
    TCODE     Transaction Code
    MATNR     Material
    MBRSH     Industry sector
    MTART     Material Type
    WERKS     Plant
    LGORT     Storage Location
    VKORG     Sales Organization
    VTWEG     Distribution Channel
    MAKTX     Material Description (Short Text)
    SKTOF     Cash discount indicator
MTPOS     Item category group from material master
MTVFP     Checking Group for Availability Check
    LADGR     Loading Group
    PRCTR     Profit Center
    DISGR     MRP Group
    DISMM     MRP Type
    DISLS     Lot size (materials planning)
    PERKZ     Period Indicator
    BKLAS     Valuation Class
    PEINH     Price Unit
VERPR     Moving Average Price/Periodic Unit Price
EKALR     Material Is Costed with Quantity Structur
    HKMAT     Material-related origin
LOSGR     Lot Size for Product Costing

if you used this program successfully before, and now it is complaining about new mandatory fields, then I would say that someone has changed the field selection for your material masters.
Try to extend one material (that making problems in LSMW) using the manual way with MM01. LSMW does not really do anything different, so I expect that you face the problems with MM01.
Then you either need to ask to the person who changed the settings  to reset them or you need to extend your LSMW  so that it can run with the new settings.

  • STO from one plant to another plant of same company code

    Hi Friends,
I have one specific scenario to map in SAP.
I am transfering gaseous material from PLANT 1 to PLANT 2 thru' STO delivery. PGI has done for Qty 18 MT from PLANT 1. GR against STO at PLANT 2, here GR qty 17.5 (actual) remaining 0.50 MT is not getting discharged as it is in vapour form. This short receipt quantity will go back to PLANT 1 and there it will be treated as truck recovery. When the next delivery will take place they will create the billing document for 18 MT again but in actual the truck will be loaded with 17.5 MT.
How to adjust In Transit stock of 0.50 MT? What will be the excise treatment for the same?
Looking forward to your valuable and early response please.
    Regards,
    Ravi

    Hi,
The goods which are loss in transit , you can follow it by scraping or do a physical count .
Receive Qty 18 MT  with 101, then scrap 0.50 MT with 551.
    OR
Receive Qty 18 MT   with 101, then do a physical count and post the difference.
    OR
Donu2019t receive Qty 18 MT   ; let the issuing plant cancel the goods issue. And redo with the correct quantity Qty 17.5 MT   . Then receive this correct quantity.

  • Asset transfer from one plant to Another plant/Vendor

    Hello,
Trasfer of asset from one location to another location/ vendor excise impact sholud flow without FI impact.
    Scenario is like this:
we are creating Capital PO for AsSET procurment from Vendor with A/C  "A",  then in Item level of Delivery adress tab we check the "SC vendor" bcz our intention is to.
Material directly sent to Different vendor and But stock is Shown in Our stock like "Material provided to vendor". After the GR
Now this "material provided to vendor " asset we can send to Different plant/vendor with excise impact without FI Impact how to do this?
    Regards
    Mahesh

    Hi,
Do a return to vendor from the first plant, modify the PO to include another line item to be received by the other plant and you can set the deletion flag for the first line item.
This assuming that there is no invoice posting is done.. if yes.. then credit memos also come into picture.
    hope this helps

  • Vendor master from one plant to another plant

    Dear Gurus
i Have vendors in on plant 100 and now i want to transfer from 100 to 200 plant those vendors.. how can i do. xk99 is okay...
    Thanks
    ramki

    Ram ki
see when you create a Vendor it will always be at company code level or at Purchasing Org level , you can never create a vendor at plant level so since these two have higher hierrarchy and plant comes under it , once you extend to this it will automatically extend for your plant.
The only place as per my knowledge where you use Vendor = Plant assignment is at Stock transport order for system to undertsnd that is maintained in Additional data tab.
so as i was saying you can extend this at company code or at Purch Org level
    Hope this is clear
    Cheers

  • Consignment stock transfer to another plant

    Hi all,
As per consignment fill up system create the consignment stock from unrestricted stock in the same plant, But as per our need we want to transfer unrestricted stock of one plant to another plant as Consignment stock, So kindly suggest me how can i achieve it with consignment process. How can i achieve it through consignment Fill up.
    Thanks in advance
    Shambhu

    Hi,
You can do this through consignment cycle.
Create the plant(Receiving) as a customer in the system.
Then do the fillup and other things as per consignment process(631) mov type.
Here u will get two entries 631-W(+) and 631(-) for delivering plant.
But from the receiving plant side u need to take GRN through MB01 then only goods can be delivered from the receiving plant.
Two entries 632(+) for receiving plant and 632(W)(-) for delivering plant so that the qty will get knocked off.
    Regards,
    Gopal.
