  • Promised Date Calculation based on Need by Date and Transit Time

    Hi,
I have created PO with NBD as D25 (Day 25) and approved it. This means that i need the goods to be at my premisis by D25.
    Now the requirement is
Promised date in my PO should be calculated to D25 - Transit Time. So that supplier will be notified D25-Transit time.
Or Is there any workaround to overcome this.
    Thanks,

Where you are capturing your lead time. You can do it in item master.
Once it is there, write a personalization to calculate the promised date and update the field.

  • Delivery date and transit time

    Hello,
we have such a problem that we want to model vendor delivery transportation time in Purchase order and also in MRP run.
That is, vendor confirms delivery date, but that date is that when goods are at vendor premises ready for delivery.
So there is several days delivery time in between until goods are really in our premises.
And our planner orders transportation from third-party and only then we know what is the real delivery date.
SAP's Planned delivery time contains both (making of goods by vendor and transport) and thus it not suitable for our purposes due the fact that vendor is not responsible for transportation.
Could you help and tell is it somehow possible to set transit time separately to purchase order? So that we have delivery date for vendor and another delivery date for transportation and that date is relevant for materials planning??
In that way we could plan our purchasing more accurately.
    Thank you in advance.
    -Juha

    Hi Juha,
Do you use Routes (Transaction 0VTC)?  If so - you can specify a 'Transit Duration' value on the Route.
Routes link 'Transporation Zones'.  So for example if your Third-Party Logistics provider belongs to 'Transportaion Zone' A and your ordering Plant belongs to 'Transportation Zone' B - then you can have a Route A <-> B with a Transit Duration Value maintained on it.
This may be a possibility given the specifics of your scenario.
    Hope this helps.

  • Delivery Date in SO not calculated with Route Transit Time

    Hello Experts,
We are not able to calculate the delivery date in Sales Orders based on the Route transit time.We are using the Transportation group from Material master , Shipping condition from sold to Party , and Receiving issuing plants and zones .
One thing I notices is if we don't use the Transportation group in the material master , then the delivery date calculated based on transit time. Not sure not why its not working with using Trans group in Mat master
    Please advise.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
Kindly do not post same questions twice
    HI,
    For delivery scheduling enter time
IMG >> SD >> Basic functions >> delivery scheduling and transportation >> maintain duration
Maintain here route, pick/pack & loading time
For in house production maintain time in material master in MRP view
Then now system will take in account what is production time + pick/pack + load time and then will schedule

Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher Report Designer's Guide
This function provides a method to get the difference between two dates in the given locale. The dates need to be in "yyyy-MM-dd" format. This function supports only the Gregorian calendar. The syntax is as follows:
    <?xdoxslt:date_diff(‘format’, ‘YYYY-MM-DD’, ‘YYYY-MM-DD’, $_XDOLOCALE, $_XDOTIMEZONE)?>
    where
format is the time value for which the difference is to be calculated

    <?xdoxslt:date_diff(‘d’, ‘2006-04-08’, ‘2006-04-01’, $_XDOLOCALE, ‘America/Los_Angeles’)?>
    returns

  • Calculate interest on Security Deposit at the time of invoice?

    Dear All,
I have a requirement of calculating interest at the time of invoicing.
I did the following configuration in spro:
SAP Utilities ->Invoicing->Invoice Processing->Define Control for additional invoicing functions
I clicked at the Int:Cash Security Deposit button.
But when I execute transaction EA10 (Creating invoice) , interest is not calculated on the security deposit.
All the configuration w.r.t interest calculation is correct.
Please let me know if anybody has any solution to this.
    Warm regards,
    Rahul

    Hi Rahul,
To calculate interest on any line item, we have to assign a interest key to it.
Take the FICA document created for Security Deposit and open it into FPE2 and goto change document:Item and then click on Tab Dunn. Data. Provide the interest key over here and then RUN your invoicing.
    Regards,
    Gaurav.

  • Purchase-How could I consider Transit time and lead time in imported mat.

My doubt refers about master data configuration of imported material.
    My sittuation is :
Material - Lead Time:  (depend on source)
                   Transit Time: (depend on source)
My company is responsable to transport all bought material. Besides, I can buy of differents suppliers.
Considering these rules, It s impossible to fix dates in material master, because material purchase is related with center and not with supplier. By the way, I need to discover other master data to configure it maybe : Inforecord, quotization... Whatever...
I need to correct this to generate Purchase order with dispatched date of my source against required date of my company after execute MRP.
I tried to study this scenario but until now I ve not got a solution.
Probably, you have had it before and can help me.
    I hope your help!
    Thank you!
    Regards!

Create POs with respect to either PIRs (if you don't need to print out) or Contract/item, both of these are Vendor/material specific so you can set lead times accordingly .  Probably best to use Source List and set requirement in material master too (Purchasing view).

  • Formating Invoice Date field to display in Japanese format 2012年2月22日

    Hi ,
I need expert help in Crystal reports for formatting a field which contains date in Japanese format.
I need to develop a Japan report that has invoice date as 2012年2月22日 which means 22-Feb-2012.
    Thanks,

    Thanks.. you saved my time.
I have found the solution for this issue
    totext(year({shiphead.ShipDate}),0) & '年' & totext(month({shiphead.ShipDate}),0) & '月' & totext(day({shiphead.ShipDate}),0) & '日'
However your solution looks good. Short and sweet.
    totext({shiphead.ShipDate}, 'yyyy年MM月dd日')

  • One time vendor invoice

    Hi Experts,
I noticed that when I create invoice for one time vendor, the vendor data fields available is different with the normal vendor master data fields.
Example : in normal vendor master data, there's field Street4. In the one time vendor master data there's no street4.
Is it possible to add fields in the one time vendor data entry screen during transaction (e.g FB60)
    Thanks
    -M-

    Hi Nikitha,
Are you refering to SPRO-Financial Accounting-Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable-Vendor Accounts-Master Data-Preparations for Creating Vendor Master Data-Define Account Groups with Screen Layout (Vendors)
I'm aware that this would control the fields (optional, required, suppress) for vendor master data based on account group.
I've tried to set the field Street4 - optional.
My question is ... During the transaction, let say FB60 (create vendor invoice). When I call one time vendor account, a pop up screen to enter the vendor data appear. And the field Street4 still not there.
So, is there any configuration to add fields for that ?
    Thanks,

  • Customer Outstanding based on invoice date

    Hi,
As you know that we have statndard report for Customer Outstandings which will give us the cusomer outstanding balance with time buckets. in that we calculate the outstanding amoount based on Posting Date.
Now i want to calculate the same based on invoice date insted of posting date . In the statndard report it was calculated based on posting key date with  SAP Exit. variable.
Please guide me how to calculate the Custiomer Outstanding amount based on invoice Date.  And guide me how to create buckets  based on invoice date.
    Thanks & Reagards,

    Hi,
Buckets means you need to Substract some Date with invoice date, so you can create Customer Exit Variable with Formula type and do it.
See the Material age Buckets report and develope your report.

  • Invoice verification Invoice date,Posting date and Baseline Date

    Hi Sap Gurus
Pls Tell Me in detail what Dates should be entered at MIRO transaction,
Invoice date,Posting date and Baseline Date
i presumed that the date on the Invoice slip will be Invoice date,
But in the Invoice the Date is very long back, say a month Older,
the month of Posting as Posting date, but any posting Date made in MIRO will be Paid after 2 or 3 months so in this case what should be the Posting date.
at Base line date in the present company Senario the Discount on Vendor payment is literally valid for all the time , say
In Invoice if the condition is 10% discount if paid in 30 days is given.
but in actual sense the Vendor is paid 10% less even if he is paid after 4 or 6 months also, so in this case what should be the Entry in Baseline date
another senario is the vendor has sent only one Invoice for 2 POs how can this be accomadated in SAP
    Pls suggest its Urgent,
Age may have a Bar, But Points No Bar
    Thanks and Regards
    Sathish

    Hi
LIV is nothing but You are getting Invoice from the Vendor for your PO   and GR.....and you are checking the Invoice for Price, Qty,Amount etc. by refering the PO  and posting the Invoice...
    Invoice Date :
The date of Vendor' Invoice...ie) Date at which the vendor Raised the invoice for his supply against your PO...
    Posting Date :
The Date at which you actually Verifying Vendor's Invoice and doing the Posting...
    base line date :
        Generally the Posting Date...
The Imp. of Baseline date is for eg)
If in the Payment Terms if some conditions are maintained like say
10% Discount for Payment With in 30 days, if
    PO created on 01.11.2007.
    GR done at 10.11.2007.
Invoice slip Received at 30.11.2007 but having the Date on it as 20.11.2007...
So as per your terms you will get 10% Discount if you make the payment on or  20.12.07....
Here if you keep  inv. Date: 20.11.2007  and Posting Date : 30.11.2007  and Baseline Date as  30.11.2007 ( you cannot maintain baseline date earlier than  Posting date)....even though as per terms the you are  eligible for discount if you make the payment on or before 20.11.2007.....as per the system you are still eligible to get the Discount if you make payment on or 30.12.2007( since you have maintained baseline date as 30.11.2007)...
this way Baseline date is Importane...
Generally we use to maintain always Posting Date as Baseline date....
    It is advantageous..
    Reward if useful
    regards

  • COGS Posting at the time of Invoicing

    Hello Experts,
We have a requirement wherein the COGS Posting should happen at the time of Invoicing.
    Our requirement is as below.
At the time of Post Goods Issue
    Stock in Transit A/c Dr
         Finished Goods A/c   Cr
At the time of Invoicing we are expecting the below 2 entries
    COGS A/c                   Dr
          Stock in Transit A/c     Cr
    Customer A/c               Dr
              Revenues
We would like to know how to achieve the 2 the above mentioned 2 entries at the time of Invoicing.
    Best Regards
    Balaji Kancherla

    Hi Balaji,
I can give you below direction...
    1. Go to OBYC and enter GL Account Goods in Transit for key GBB VAX. So whenever you post PGI, system will post GL Account Goods in Transit.
    2. You will have to add two condition typs into your pricing procedure..
ZGDS:Goods in transit (GL Account - Goods in transit)
COGS:Cost of Goods Sold. (GL Accounts COGS)
Importantly, you will have to attach Calculation Routine which will bring the amount posted to Goods in transit at the time of PGI.

  • Transit Time in Calendar Days?

    Hello,
For quite a long time, I thought in transportation and delivery scheduling the TRANSIT TIME is measured in Calendar Days, which means weekends and public holidays are also included. For example, if the delivery date is 2007-12-31, and transit time is 8 days, the system will calculate Loading Date as 2007-12-31 minus 8, which is 2007-12-23.
But a few days ago, I found my understanding is not correct. It seems the TRANSIT TIME is also measured in work days, in the route factory calendar (not the shipping point factory calendar). In this case, the loading date in above example will be calculated as 2007-12-19, for a typical calendar.
    Can someone confirmed this?
    Regards, Ke

    Yes that's right Ke.
The calendar you maintain, if has a weekly off or for that matter country specific holidays these days will be considered as non working days in SAP. however if you want to change this you can define your own calendar having 365 days working.

  • Use the Transit Times of route stages ?

Hello. I would like to now if I somehow can use the transit time of the route stages instead of the header route transit time to reflect correct ATP. Current SAP is 4.7.
Business Scenario behind my request is mainly for Ocean Liner Shipments:
For Liner shipments most of the times there are fixed sailing Days ( i.e. every Friday ).
Here I use a route with two stages:
Shipping point to port of depature
Port of depature to final destination port.
As a possible solution I thought to use a Transportation connection point in between which should reflect the waiting time at the port having a factory calendar behind. But during first testing I recognized that any time specific date in the route stages are not take into calculation when creating a sales order ?
    Help please !
    Thanks
    Joerg

I think the sales order picks up the time and dates from header of the route and applies stages and leg determination during shipment creation depending upon your shipment doc. type settings, hence, I think doesnt add stage values during order creation.
If I understand the problem right, perhaps a user exit or something can help you get the days to next Friday to add to the transportation lead time and get to the right dates. Check if this idea can help.
