Transport configuration
Hi,
I have a very basic question. Consider this scenario--
I have two different clients in my development box- One for Customizing (say 100) and another for Development (say 500). Functional people would like to create request in client 100 and release it from there which gets imported to a particular client in QA (say 800). ABAP-ers would like to create request in client 500 and release it from there which gets imported to the same client in QA (800).
My question is do I need to implement Extended Transport Control or the normal TMS configuration will serve the purpose.

Error Destination in JMS Transport Configuration page (Proxy Services)
Hi, Can anybody provides me the sample of Error Destination in JMS Transport Configuration page (Proxy Services) .I need to know the format. I am using "jms://<host:port[,host:port]*/factoryJndiName/destJndiName>", but it does not work.
From Oracle webstie, http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13159_01/osb/docs10gr3/interopjms/transport.html, the detail description of Error Destination is " In this field you can configure the name of the target destination for the messages, which have reached the maximum number of retry count. "Can you provide the JNDI name of the error destination alone there ?

Business service EJB Transport configuration error
Hi,
When configuring Business service to work on ejb protocol, on EJB Transport Configuration tab, I get error message saying

BEA_HOME, MIDDLEWARE_HOME, ANT_HOME tried to set, not helped.
JrockIt 4.0.0.,Weblogic 10.3.3, OEPE 11.1.1.6.
What could be the problem?
Thanks in advance.Hi,

So only OSB and Weblogic homes are set.
I tried with/without setting additional homes (such as BEA_HOME etc.) just because this line :
Cannot run program "null/modules/org.apache.ant_1.7.1/bin/ant.bat" confused me. It's like path to middleware installation isn't set, that's why it's NULL here.
Any ideas?

MAR Transport Configurator ERROR
Hello CRM Mobile Guru's,
I have installed the Moblie Repository Server on a windows server 2003. The .Net framework release used is the 2.0
We have installed the SAP CRM Mobile client 7.0 SP4.
When I configure the MAR Transport Configurator for CRM connection server, i have git the followong error.
"Failed! Could not establish connection to "CRD".
Details:
Could not load file or assembly 'SAP.Connector, Version=2.0.0.0; Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=50436dca5c7f7d23' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified
I have one question. Is the SAP Gui mandatory to use MAR?? I think it is note a prerequisites of the Mobile Server Reporsitory.
If you have an idea? please advice.
Best regards.Hello
interesting issue. hearing this isuse again after a long time
At First, SAPGUI is not mandatory for MRS installation.Mobile installtion deploys all the relevant binaries required to commnicate with CRM server.
As you mentioned, .Net framework 2.0 is installed in MRS machine.SAP.Connector.dll reuqires to be installed in GAC (Global Assemly Cache) and GAC (GacUtil.exe) does not come along with .Net framework 2.0 installation. No idea why Microsoft did this. since Gacutil.exe is not available in MRS machine, Mobile installation is unalble to install SAP.Connector.dll and SAP.Connecto.rfc.dll in the GAC.
There are two ways to resolve this issue and are as follows
1. Install .Net framework 2.0 SDk in MRS machine.install SAP.Connector.dll and SAP.Connecto.rfc.dll in the GAC using GACutil.exe. Here is the link for .Net framework 2.0 SDK http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=fe6f2099-b7b4-4f47-a244-c96d69c35dec&displaylang=en
2. Open GAC Folder located at <<Drive>>:\WINDOWS\assembly and manually add the assembly by dropping the files.
please note that SAP.Connector.dll and SAP.Connecto.rfc.dll are availble at %mobilerootdir%\bin.Net. After performing any of the above steps, verify the scenario as you have reported.

EdgarHi.
There are two ways to transport ID and IR Object to transport .
1. CTS + : Totally automated Way .,
2. .tpz : Manual Lagacy Import / Import way .
Now . Steps .are :
There are two types of transport mechanisms in XI/PI.
1. File Transport System.
Files are imported and exported into SAP XI OS Level for Development and Quality Server,
This Process is risky as there is no automated system and there is no track record of imported or Exported Files,
as in this syetem exported files are transported to QA System from DEV System.
file Extension in file transport System : - .tpz
2. Through CTMS(Change Transport Managment System).
GUI Based tool, Installed on SAP XI BOX, This system provides the automated transport system , which keep tracks of transported Objects and Failed objects.
There are initial level efforts to set up transport system.

Problem in Transports configuration to Production
Hello
I have a problem I am configurating the transport system between QA landscape and Prod landscape but I got this message:
System QA DOMAIN_DEV Command TMS_MGR_CONFIGURE_CLIENT

The configuration between DEV and QA is correct and is working fine.
theoretically I think that the request(ITDK900002) would have been to transportation from DEv to QA and this same request (ITDK900002) pass from QA to Prod
So, I configurated DEV>QA and the domain controler is DOMAIN_DEV then I am configurating the transports QA>Prod with the domain controller DOMAIN_QA and I got the last message, Is this domain controller correct?? or Would have I put the domiain cotroller of DEV?? because I put the Domian controller of DEV the configuration ends correct.
Can you please help me ??
Thanks a lot

The current configuration to your landscape in not proper .The proper one is DEV-QAS-PRD.
There will be only one domine controller for the whole system.
which will be DEV in your case.
GO with this process it will work fine

OSB JMS Transport configuration
I have a need to pass a reply-to destination from one external process (the producer) to a second external process (the consumer), with the design supporting flexibility for changing destinations within the OSB pipeline at a future time. To enable this functionality, the following jms transport was designed on the OSB 10gR3:
external producer--->|---q1--->jmsTransProxy---->q2---|--->external consumer
The jmsTransProxy is configured with request/response text message types, jms protocol, Get All Headers yes, Is Response Required enabled, and Response Correlation Pattern CorrelationID.
In the Request pipeline of jmsTransProxy, a single stage is configured to Pass All Headers through Pipeline.
In the Response pipeline of jmsTransProxy, a single stage is configured to Pass All Headers through Pipeline.
When the external producer sets the JMSReplyTo header, I expected that this header would be passed from q1 to q2 so that the external consumer would receive it. The message payload is correctly received by the external consumer along with the JMSCorrelationID, but not the JMSReplyTo header information. By examining the logs, I can see the header information is received correctly in the request pipeline, but is not available from q2.
What is the correct solution to have the JMSReplyTo information pass through to the external consumer?Thank-you for your tips.
I have revised the pipeline as you indicated and more of the headers pass through, but not the JMSReplyTo header. Because the user headers are passed through, I can use get/setObjectProperty on the message to realize the functionality required (though this is a workaround).
current configuration:
external producer--->q1--->jmsProxy--->jmsBusiness--->q2---> external consumer
jmsProxy parameters:
service type: messaging service
request message type: text
response message type: none
protocol: jms
endpoint uri: q1
get all headers: yes
destination type: queue
is reposnse required: disabled
etc.
jmsProxy request pipeline:
publish to [ jmsBusiness ]
request actions: set transport headers for [ outbound request ] (pass all headers)
jmsBusiness parameters:
service type: messaging service
request message type: text
response message type: none
protocol: jms
endpoint uri: q2
destination type: queue
is reposnse required: disabled

How to transport configuration in E-sourcing
Hello Experts,
I am new to E- sourcing,
Could you please help me in knowing, How can we transport the configuration of e-sourcing from Development to Production system.
Cheers
Naveena ShettyHi Naveena and Vijay
Please see the documentation below for an excerpt on how to do the transport migration SAP provides something called as SAP OMF Object Migration facility toolIf you have the license for ESO, you can actually go ahead and check for this
This is how it works, lets take an example
The SAP Object Migration Facility (OMF) is designed to enable the movement of objects from a test or staging environment to a production environment. The process for utilizing the Object Migration Facility requires definition and modification of objects in a test or staging (source) environment followed by creation of an Object Migration Archive (OMA) used to import the
objects into the production (target) environment. The recommended usage of this facility is to complete object definition and implementation on the source system, followed by creation of an archive containing all datasets, which is then imported into the target system. Once this full import is completed, establishing the set of objects common to the source and target systems, partial exports may be created and used to update the target system with changes made to the source system
Note, however, that the use of partial exports requires careful consideration of the
interdependencies between objects. For example, suppose you have defined a new RFx template
object in a source system that uses a Unit of Measure that was defined since the time of the full
object migration from the source to the target system. Also suppose that you want to migrate the
new template from the source to the target system. In this simple case, migration of the
template without migration of the new Unit of Measure will fail, since the reference to the Unit of
Measure will not be resolved during import of the template.
The solution in this case is to create an export package of both RFx Templates and Units of
Measure. When this package is imported, the Units of Measure will be imported prior to the RFx
Templates, so that when the template is imported, the reference to the Unit of Measure will be
resolved and the import will succeed.
Implementation Note:
One object relationship which is encoded in the system but not reflected in the reference guide is
a relationship between the Extension Definition and Dynamic Class Metadata classes of objects. If
either of these object classes is added to an export package, both object classes must be added.
Export Data:
You can export master data from SAPE-Sourcing in the form of OMA files, an XML format used
for object migration. For details on object migration, see Exporting objects for migration.
This section describes how to create and edit an export package.
Field Help for Export Package Header page
Display Name: Type a name for the export package.
Description: Type a description of the export package.
Creating an Export Package:
You export master data from SAP® E-Sourcing in the form of OMA files, an XML format used for
object migration. You can create an export package, described by one or more sets of
instructions, for immediate or future export. For details on object migration, see Exporting
objects for migration.
You can also export the same package multiple times as needed. For example, you might create
a package and manually export it weekly or monthly.
Steps to Create an Export Package:
- Click Setup in the toolbar at the top of the page.
- In the Import and Export Tools section of System Administration, select Export Data from the
drop-down list and click OK.

OSB: EJB Transport Configuration - Workshop for Weblogic 10.3
Hi
I'm using the latest Workshop for Weblogic 10.3. to test the EJB Transport Typed Service for Oracle Service Bus 10R3.
When I importing the EJB client jar on the EJB Transport tab of the business service configuration, the import itself first seems to work fine.
But when I try to save the business service, I get an error on that page, which says "Error in field content". There is also a message appearing on the top of the wizard, which is only partly readable and says
BUILD FAILED
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/tools/Diagnostic
I'm trying the sample in chapter 8 from the Apress book "The definitive guide to SOA - Oracle Service Bus" and can't see what I have done wrong.
Anyone can help?
Thanks
Guido
Edited by: gschmutz on Feb 4, 2009 11:33 AMMake sure your JAVA_HOME is set to JRockit JDK - for details see CR374557 on [http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13159_01/osb/docs10gr3/relnotes/relnotes.html]:
ClassNotFoundExceptions on Linux when configuring a client jar for an EJB business service.
On a Linux system, if you do not specify the path to the correct version of Java correctly, you may experience ClassNotFoundException when configuring a client JAR for an EJB business service.
Workaround: The correct Java version is 1.6.0_05.
To check the version of Java you are using, execute java -version from a shell. If you are using some other version, you must update the PATH environment variable to point to the location of a 1.6.0_05 version of Java. Be sure to place this location before the location of the incorrect java. For example:
export PATH=/home/user/bea/jrockit_160_05/bin:$PATH
After making this fix, you may experience error: Generate: Error during generation of the WSDL. If so, you must update the JAVA_HOME environment variable to point to same version of Java as above. For example:
export JAVA_HOME=/home/user/bea/jrockit_160_05

Automatic transport configuration
Hi all,
i am new with the transport systems, and I need some help.
I have the next scenario:
A global development system:
system: 1
development
mandant 100
A global quality system:
system: 1
quality
mandant 100
And additionally I have 4 local development systems:
systems: 2, 3, 4 and 5
development
mandant 200
Currently the transport between systems are manually, transaction STMS with Import (from DEV to QA) and transmission (from QA to local DEVs with and approval queue). And then I need to import in all the local DEVs this transports.
I'd like do it automatic, at least the part of the QA to local DEVs.
Can I do all transmissions in only one step, do a multiple system transmission? or can I do directly the import to de local systems without transmission from the approval queue?
Could somebody give me an idea?
Regards, Raúl PereaHello Raul,
As I understand it transport routes are in place and are working fine. Now you need to just to schedule import jobs for automising the imports.
1. For this go STMS transaction and then overview. Then choose the system in which automatic imprt is to be scheduled. The import queue of the system will show.
2. In the application tool bar you will find 2 TRUCK shaped icons : one for Import All , one for Single Import.
3. Select the Import All truck. A pop up will come.
4. Under Date/deadline select radio button At Start Time give the date and time of imports. In period field (which is actually disabled for filling in values) do an F4 and give the required period. Then select radio button after event and select the check box Execute Import periodically. However after this again select At start time radio button.
5. Go to tabstrip Execution and select Execute synchronously and in the options tab stip select all check boxes.
6. Press enter and say yesto the resulting pop up.
7. Your job is scheduled for a particular system. Go to SM37 give the job name as TMS* . You will be able to find it. Also change it is job class to A. That is useful for transport import jobs.
Please award points if answer was useful.
Regards.

MOVED: Hyper transport configuration on my K8N Diamond Plus
This topic has been moved to Overclockers & Modding Corner.
https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=132723.0Old thread I know. Still messing with it. Put this opty 185 in and am pretty impressed with the chip. It was Prime stable to 2965 MHz with no vcore increase and everything stock on memory timings. Now stable at 3016 MHz with only a slight vcore increase and memoy still stock. It really impresses upon me the fact of the individuality of each overclock and components. The opteron 180 I had in previously needed a large vcore increase to stay stable at 2761 MHz. For anyone who cares I'll continue to post on the oc until I exhaust the potential. With you guys pushing around 4 and 5 Ghz out there I know this is just old news.

Hyper transport configuration on my K8N Diamond Plus
Hey guys,
Maybe this ought to go in overclocks and modding. I wasn't sure. So move it if need be and thanks. Just a couple of quick questions:
1) Where should I set the link width between the C51D NB chip and the NF4 SB chip? 8 or 16?
2) Where should I set the frequency? Keep it at 1000Mhz like the K8 to the NB?
Then when I'm in sli:
1) Where should I set the link width between the C51D NB chip and the CK804 SB sli chip? 8 or 16?
2) Where should I set the frequency? 1000Mhz again?
Thanks for looking.
