Transport documents with object

When I add a document to an object (i.e. process chain) then it appears that these documents are not transported from DEV to PRD. Is there a trick to transport documentation along with the objects?

documents attached to info provider, info object or queries can be transported via transport connection.
However, this function does not support documents like "document for navigation status" in web query -> so called "navigational state". It seems the document type in your case belongs to this as well.
You can try to transport these document manually:
A document has assigned to IDs, the locical and physical document ID (in RSA1 -> documents ->...right click on the document -> properties -> technical information..)
These numbers can be found in the table TADIR:
R3TR SBGL <LOIO ID>
R3TR SBGP <PHIO ID>
If you put this two objects on one request, the document should be transported to your target system.

Broadcasting scheduling settings not transported along with object BRSE

Hi ,
I transported object BRSE (broadcasting object) with the Transport Connection (RSA1 transaction) from development system to the test one. I also transported previously the object TMPL (the Web Template in which I customized the broadcasting).
The transportation was succesfull, everything was transported Ok except from the broadcasting schedulling settings. I really don't know why?
I'll appreciate any help on this issue.

The transport log shows this warning:
Event ZSICO_LDM (DC) does not exist; registration of setting Z_ENVIO_QUERY_RECONC_RC deleted
Broadcast setting Z_ENVIO_QUERY_RECONC_RC activated successfully
We don't created any event manually, so we think that ZSICO_LDM is an event that was automatically created.
Z_ENVIO_QUERY_RECONC_RC is our Broadcasting scheduling that sends a query by e-mail.
Now we can see Z_ENVIO_QUERY_RECONC_RC on RSA1 -> Metadata Repository finding the query, but when we open the broadcast settings for this query, it does not appears.
Do you know why?

Transportation probelms with objects

most of objects we installed bsuiness content, and migrated to 7.0 and amde some enhancements and moving quality each time request is getting failed like some objects are inactive for each module. its defficult to check each object ( char and its contain attributes are active ior not)
is theer any process i can check while collecting what are objects are inactive?
2nd probelm is
i replicated all datasource from ecc quality to BI quality
then i am sending migration an dactive version of datasource to BI quality
i am collecting all flow. why while transportating again data source is going source system for replication process?
any setting we need to adjust, bec its taking long time

1. First you check all master data InfoObjects are Active or not?. Eg: take 0MATERIAL and check all Objects with in that i.e. Attributes, NaviGational...are active or not?. In this way you collect all InfoObejcts Information in one Excel sheet and then Transport all Ativated InfoOBjects to BI Qty.Then you send all Cubes/DSO's and so on....
2. First you Transport the datasources from ECC Dev to ECC Qty and then Replicate all DS'S in BI Qty system and then You transport the Transfer/Update/Tranformations/DTPS from BI Dev to BI Qty.

Hi,
If you are talking about sales order status, this can be configured through status profile.
SPRO-SD-SALES-SALES DOCUMENTS - DEFINE & ASSIGN STATUS PROFILE.
Based on the user status you have maintained for your sales document, the status can be viewed in table JEST.
For this first go to VBAK - get document condition header, and take this document condition header and go to table JEST.
Here your current status will start with E**** and status inactive flag would be blank.

Documents with Smart Objects - Very slow to open and Save - CS6 Photoshop

When opening and saving documents with smart objects photoshop freezes the adobe PS loader (circle dots) is replaced and the system loader (multi colored wheel of death) spins for 30 seconds or more.
What I've tried so far based off looking at various posts.
Photoshop Preferenes
Save in Background off
Maximise PSD and PSB file compatability never
Cache Tile Size: 128k
Advanced Graphic Processor Settings: Basic & Normal
Layer Panel options: No Thumbnail
Observations and workthroughs to date
The file size and amount of smart objects effects the file expotentially i.e. The more smart objects you have the worse it gets
These files worked perfectly in PS CS5
It also happens on files natively created in PS CS6
The CPU is maxing out at 100% while PS loads
Closing or opening suitcase has no effect.
System:
iMac 27-inch, Mid 2011
Processor 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024 MB
Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)
Suitcase 4
Anyone got any ideas? This is making me go nuts!

A solution!
It turns out the problem in my case was in fact Suitcase. Previously, I'd tried turning it off, but that didn't fix the problem, so this time, I uninstalled it completely and the problem disappeared. I then began re-adding it (installed 15.0.1, upgraded it, etc.) and the problem resurfaced with the addition of the Photoshop-specific plugin. Deleting that plugin solved the problem. So it seems that "disabling" Suitcase by stopping the TypeCore doesn't seem to actually disable all of the tentacles it sticks into your system.

(After a restart, I also had to delete the font cache, as described here http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-fonts-photoshop-cs5.html but your mileage may vary.)
Alternately, if you don't want to delete the plugin, disabling it from within Photoshop seems to work as well. To do that, go to File > Automate > Extensis, click Preferences..., then deselect Enable Suitcase Fusion 4 Auto-Activation.
Fortunately, the plugin doesn't seem necessary at all to use the the core functionality of Suitcase (enabling and disabling fonts) in Photoshop. I didn't even know what these app-specific plugins did until researching this problem, and I still don't quite understand the point of them. I guess they allow you to let the apps for which they're installed do a little bit more of their own management (enable a font via Suitcase that isn't enabled system-wide), but that seems like more control than I need--if I'm enabling a font, I want all my software to be able to use it.
Anyway, the problem seems to be completely solved on my system now, though I just did all this, so more testing over the next few days is required. I'll post here if any issues crop up. I'm interested in hearing if this solves it for anyone else as well.

Cost Object in FI document with WBS Settlement

Hi,
I'm testing WBS settlement to G/L account which is cost element. I made some substitution rules because I met an error message saying that "Cost Object is needed"
As a result I can settle WBS to cost elements such as COGS etc. I got a FI document, CO document and PCA document. Everything looked so nice.
Suddenly I noticed, however, that there is no such a thing like cost object on FI document. When I look up the FI document using FB03, I found that the PS-POSID was empty. Of course, CO documents have Cost Object.
What I wonder is as follows
1. Is this standard? Is it natural that FI document with CO doc has no cost object on it?
2. If I need to use FI document to determine WBS element, what is the best to way? Is it possible to enter Cost Object such as wbs element in FI document during settlement?

Kang,
In the message which you got, the word 'Cost Object' refered to a cost center, or order, or any other cost object.
However, there is another account assignment object with the name 'Cost Object', which was not filled in the FI document. That is normal.
Right now I don't have much information in the a/c assignment object 'Cost Object'.

Word 2010 Document with embedded pdf objects

Is it possible to convert a word 2010 document with embedded pdf object into a PDF without loosing the functiuonality of double clicking on the Acrobat icon and opening the (embedded) document?

Conversion of a Word 2010 Document with inserted objects to pdf with adobe acrobat XI

I am working in a Wrod document with inserted objects such as ppt files, word documents and even pdf documents. you open the word document, push in the object and then the inserted file opens. I have converted it to pdf with one button click and the index works, that's to say, you press in the index and you go to the section selected. However the inserted objects are images and you can no open them.
Do you know how to keep the inserted objects????

UDO with Document Rows object : create lines with DIAPI

Hi all,
I'm created two tables : IFC_OBDC with Document object type and IFC_BDC1 with Document Rows object type.
I'm created the associated UDO.
How can i create data with DIAPI ??
I'm begin to use SAPBobsCom.Documents but i don't find the SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes for my UDO.
The document is generate via program. So it is possible to create my UDO with DIAPI ??

Hi ,
as i undtrestand you have a form with 2 tables one document and the other document lines.
You want to populate the lines wuth DIAPI.
i can give you this hints:
create a document UDO with you tables.
on form load activate the menus: add and remove line
add the buttons OK and Cancel: with id 1 and 2
Normally i think that it will work.

Append worksheet from second document with NJAWIN

Pages opens strictly word processing AppleWorks v6 files.
The problem with ClarisWorks files were they could contain all sorts of objects from databases to spreadsheets, drawings and paint. the iWork suite is not that versatile.
But you really have little choice as ClarisWorks and AppleWorks are both history. If you are going to switch, the sooner the better.
Just keep in mind what Apple did to ClarisWorks/AppleWorks along with many other of their appliactions and technologies theywill ultimately do to Pages.

How to create shipment document with out outbound/inbound delivery document.
In my client scenario, there is no inbound delivery for normal purchases.
Just there are raising the PO to vendor, then they are doing MIGO for goods receipt.
Can we do shipment creation with reference to PO?
If it is possible, how it will be?
Please let it solve

Dear Sameer,
Please go to transaction VT01N here you enter Transportation planning point and shipment type then press enter.
Now system will take you to the shipment document creation screen here you click on Select deliveries or press F6 now system will take you to the select outbound deliveries screen in this screen you enter selection data then execute, now deliveries will get assigned to that shipment.
After assigning the deliveries enter the remaining data then complete the shipment finally save the shipment document.

Note:- Shipment process need to be carry out for the deliveries before PGI.

We are facing the problem in stock transport from plant to plant regarding Excise duty document which can be seen in table /BEV2/EDMSE after posting.
Steps involved in process
1) Creation of PO(STO) ME21N-
2) Creation of outbound delivery and post goods issue- VL10B
3) Posting of GRN goods receipt - MIGO
4) Creatin of excise invoice path is - User menu---> Logistics --->Materials Management --->Excise Duty --->Tools ---> Limted document selection (/BEV2/EDT7)
We are facing problem in creation of excise document , Error is coming while posting and document not getting posted.
Error is -
1 document items processed: 1 tax-relevant, 1 of them rejected
Message no. /BEV2/EDMESS1017
Diagnosis
1 material documents were processed.
1 of them were identified as being tax-relevant. They were updated. This involves 1 items that were rejected.
Procedure
Check and edit the rejected document items by means of the function Rejected documents.
If we check the Rejected documents you will find the error as -
Error 15 GI posting not yet processed/has been rejected
If we check the sucessful posted document with problem document in table /BEV2/EDMSE you will find the stock ledger number field is blank, may be because of this the tax value is not getting calculated.
Please guide to solve the problem.

How can I move an image/file around inside a document with text already in it?

I'm learning In Design on the job, and it's a real challenge. One big problem I'm having is, after I've placed an image inside a document with text in it, how do I place it precisely where I want it? Sometimes I need the image flush to the left, and sometimes I need to center it. When I place it, it doesn't land where I need it to be. Things I've tried work sometimes but not other times. I've tried going to Paragraph and reducing the setting to zero to move an image flush to the left of the text frame/column (I'm working with a three-column page). Sometimes that works, and sometimes it does not. When it doesn't, I've tried using the Selection tool to drag the image, but it doesn't respond. Could someone give me an idea of what I'm overlooking? I'm finding that InDesign has many settings, and all it takes is for one setting to be what it shouldn't be for things to go badly wrong. I'm having other issues too, but in this discussion I'll stick to this.

Sounds like you are anchoring the images in the text flow. That's fine if you need them to move along with text during editing, but is usually not required and often counter productive. If you place your images as separate objects in their own independent frames they can be positioned anywhere and moved at will. If they need to be anchored, consider using Custom Positioned instead of inline.
