Transport (STMS) issue + Hang

Hi,
From last two days we are facing issue with transport management system. There are two transport sitting in queue and not getting imported. Every time transport process run. It some how remain in the active state and never does anything. we tried to troubleshoot this issue and found that there is 1 record sitting in table trbat which should not be there.
. Also, there may be some other problem which needs to be fixed in order to TMS system work properly.
I have run se16> trbat>enter>execute>it display

Hi,
You need to do the following checks and then proceed accordingly:
1. Check the transport logs under transport directory for the above
long running requests (/usr/sap/trans/log or /usr/sap/trans/tmp).
2. Check whether Transport routes are configured properly, using STMS transaction. Also, perform the connection test, tp tool and RFC connections.
3. Execute RSTPTEST program to check the STMS configuration.
To clear the inconsistency and long running tp process , proceed as below.
i. verify whether any tp is running at OS level. kill all the tp
process which is running at the OS level (Ensure there is no transport done during this time).
ii. Move all the files from /usr/sap/trans/tmp to some temporary
backup directory.
iii. Go to STMS -> import overview -> go to ->import monitor and
delete the old entries.
Then review the SAP Note 690449 for any .LOB file that is locking the tp.

observed on:
- Windows 7 x64 machine with 12GB RAM and high-performance CPU (core i7-920)
- Virtual Machine guest running WinXP SP3 (in Oracle VirtualBox) on the same machine
- Intel Atom D525 netbook with 4GB RAM, running Win7 x64
Neither of these machines are connected via Sync or anything like that. The Firefox instance on the VM is a fresh/clean install.
The problem:
- 100% cpu usage for 10 seconds, memory usage (PF usage in XP) goes up to 1.7GB
- if "about:home" is the Firefox Start Page, effectively it hangs the computer at Firefox startup for 10 seconds
- if "about:home" is NOT the Firefox Start Page, startup is fine - BUT if I press the "home" button on the toolbar it loads "about:home" which causes the same issue again

Thank you cor-el! Your suggestion has solved the problem on my WinXP VM which I was using to test, and I will soon confirm that it has also solved the problem on my primary Win7 desktop.

Transport Request status Hang

i have imported the request in production but from last 3 hrs its status is Running.

This issue can be solved.
- You have to ensure that none import further transport.
- At the OS level kill the process TP
- At SAP lvel : STMS -> Import queue -> remove the requests with the status "RUNNING" (Truck Icon) manually
- Ensure that there exists no clogged entries in TRBAT & TRJOB table entries. If exists remove them ( TP must not running )
-- At SAP level via the transcation SE16 check the table TBSTAT, in the 2nd field , "TRKORR" enter your the concerned transport request number --> Execute
(you will see the concerned transport)
- At Oracle level connect as sysdba
--> Select from SAPR3.TBSTAT
--> Then: Delete from SAPR3.TBSTAT and commit
I have already done this and it works fine.

Adobe AIR installation issue - hangs at "Installing..."

Hello everyone!
I know questions similar to this have been asked many times before, but I did not manage to find the solution to my problem after a few hours of reading and trying the various 'solutions' around the net and this forum. I apologise if I missed it.
I cannot seem to install Adobe AIR. I run a freshly downloaded installation executable, but it hangs at "Installing..." and 0% progress for a very, very, very long time, if I let it. This last try has been going for 45 minutes as I write. The only way to get out of the installer is through Task Manager and killing the service, as hitting 'Cancel' just makes the installer attempt to cancel endlessly.
I tried installing it in safe mode but there it gives an error saying I may not have administrative permissions (which I do have);
I created a new user account;
I "run as Administrator" and am using an account with administrative rights;
I tried it through the command line with putting the file in c:\ and running "AdobeAIRInstaller.exe -silent" without quotes from c:\;
I have shut off all my antivirus software;
I tried downloading it with a different browser;
I tried using the MicrosoftFixit.ProgramInstallUninstall, and took Adobe AIR off the list;
I tried uninstalling all Adobe products and then reinstalling them, with Adobe AIR last
... and some more things, but none of this has helped. Here's what the installation log generates when it hangs:

Ok, I understand. So before we continue, we really need to figure out what the exact error is. Can you, on at least 2 systems, generate the MSI logs we'll need? Here's a document that explains how to enable logging and where to find the logs once they've been created:

Once you've enabled logging, try installing again. Grab the newly created msi logs and either post here or email me at [email protected] I'll examine the logs and see if we can find a common issue between the systems.

Stock Transport order issueing storage location determination

Folks,
In case of a Stock transport order scenario in which plant A with SLOC1 delivery to plant B with SLOC 2. Is there any option how the issueing storage location can be determined? The delivering plant can be determined through the special procurement key but there is no option for the issueing SLOC.

I am not sure if I understand your problem correctly.
You do not want the system to create a new MARD entry when postin goods issue.
You can enable/ disable this function with transaction OMB3 in the customizing.

HELP - Exchange Server 2007 Transport Rule Issue

sorry if here is not the place to put my question but I did not find another forum, so if anyone can help me I appreciate.
- I have an Exchange Server 2007 SP3 environment with 1 MBX Server and 3 CAS/HUB Servers.
- I have created a Transport Rule that said:
"all emails that have @test.com in BCC field are dropped off except one group can send" .
The issue is the rule doesn´t work.

This is the first time i am working on Exchange Server Development. Below is a simple Transport Agent that i am using, this agent should simply update the email Subjects

Below is the Powershell script i am using to install the Agent.

How are you testing this ? a SmtpReceiveAgent will only fire when the server receives email over SMTP. So if your just logging on and sending an Internal Email (eg mailbox to mailbox) or sending Email externally then the
SmtpReceiveAgent wont fire. For a single server if you want to capture all email you need to use a router agent see

Transportable tablespace - Issue in impdp

I need to transport the tablespace from 32 bit environmet (32 bit Linux and 32 bit Oracle) to 64 bit environment (Both 64 bit) as I am migrating to 64 bit.
I have exported the tablesapce from 32 bit machine using expdp command. But I am getting below error while trying to import it on 64 bit environment
ORA-39002: invalid operation
ORA-31694: master table "SYSTEM"."SYS_IMPORT_TRANSPORTABLE_01" failed to load/unload
ORA-02354: error in exporting/importing data
ORA-02373: Error parsing insert statement for table "SYSTEM"."SYS_IMPORT_TRANSPORTABLE_01".
ORA-00904: "ORIGINAL_OBJECT_NAME": invalid identifier
Oracle version in 32 bit mc is : *11.1.0.7.0*
Oracle version in 64 bit mc is : *11.1.0.6.0*
Tablespace path in 32 bit mc was : /opt/oracleDBTable/tablespace/
I have mounted this folder from 32 bit mc to same path on 64 bit mc using NFS.
All tablespaces has been changed to read only and metadata file has been copied in binary mode to 64 bit mc.
Can anyone Pls help me in resolving this issue..

should this work..?? and what is the parameter "compatible=xyz" how should i use it ?I dont know from memory... the parameter to do exports for lower version databases might as well be named "version" - but you will find the answer in the fine documentation.

IPhoto 6 - Import issue, hangs at end

Folks, any help with this would be much appreciated.
I installed iLife 06 and all went well, other than the "recovered photos" issue which others have mentioned - no biggie as there were only 3.
But I have a problem now when importing from disc (HD or CD) - in that the import goes ahead, but freezes at the end. iPhoto doesn't freeze - you can look at folders / the library etc.. while the import process is hanging - and interestingly the library does include the photos within the import which has hung.
The import will hang for ages (hours, not seconds), and I can't stop it using the stop import button, nor can I quit iPhoto (hoping it will tidy up).
After 30mins+ of waiting, a couple of times, I've force-quit iPhoto. When opening again, the pics aren't in the library - but looking with the finder they do all exist in the originals folder, and the data folder.
A total rebuild of the library fails to include the pics.
Anyone else had this? I'm a pretty vanilla user - I haven't mucked about in my old iPhoto 5 library at all etc...
One related question - the following files are in my iPhoto Library - judging by their dates (I installed iLife on Jan 24) and names, are some old iPhoto 5 files?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. The albums folder is a carryover from the V4 days and is no longer useful. You can trash it. Albums are now identified and linked within the AlbumData.xml file with no aliases being used any more.
The Library6.temp is not normally in a library folder. It's probably left over from one of your forced quits and can be deleted.
How much free space do you have on your HD? Have you tried rebuilding the library? Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys depressed and follow the instructions to rebuild the library. I'd select the first three options.

Stock transport order issue

My bussiness process is i have created stock transport order purchase order in me21n t.code doc type UB,item category 'U'then i do mb11 t.code 351 movement type Transfer posting to stock in transit from unrestricted-use.then i do the goods receipt in migo t.code.
Now my system taking goods receipt with Zero quantity without 351 movement goods not happening,is there any configuration i miss,

For the STO , with 351 movement type its issue goods receipt from issuing plant n the stock will b in transit( on a way), so goods receipt will not happen in receiving plant and stock value is zero. For goods receipt to happen please do GR wrt 101 movement type. Then stcok will b updated.

Abap transport release issue

hello,
i have a scenario where in my project, the crm development is happening. and for a single object there are about 4 people are working and there is a single transport request with 4 different tasks. Now that each folks are working individually and completing there task.. Now the developer1 completed his task and what to test it in quality but on release of the transport it started giving implication due to other TR tasks.
Now we are unable to figure out how to resolove this activity where we can resolve this issue. also that there is yet another crm component the other 4 guys are working on..
please let me know how to resolve this issue?

welcome to the club.
We had this trouble for years. Then they started to use SAP Solution manager, everybody got training courses on how to use and we can not create transport requests or transport them without creating a minimum of 3 Solution manager processes with a dozen or so steps and workflow and partner assignment and assignment of testers, developers, process administrators with approvals, releases, and and and guess what we got?
We have some 800% more of administrative overhead including full-time quaility managers.
And nothing is better than it was before:
We still face the task of unavoidable communication with people. I really hate all those developers, consultants and users.
Why can't the system do the job?

Transport collection issue

I would like to Trasnport an infoobject from Dev to Quality.
I have given Source system assignment correctly.
But when I am trying to collect all related ( i mean all attributes and attributes' attribute), it is giving the following error:

Choose 'Display object' or 'Cancel'.
I tried in many ways to resolve this.. But I could not collect and almost the trasnport request has failed 4-5 times. Can any one help me how to resolve this.. Its very very urgent

Hi Ananya,
I too had the same issue. I worked on BI7.0 SP9 .
I could solve this by taking few infoobjects at one time rather than taking all at a time. I could find the issues exists with few infoobject like 0PLANT, 0CALMONTH etc..
Let me explain clearly to you now.
I Collect the cube with necessary objects in transport connection
First I select cube and first 10 infoobjects if this is sucessful then select next ten, if you find issue with 10 select five and narrow down the selection for infoobject that is causing the issues. the same needs to be done multiple number of times to collect all the object. I tried a lot but I could not find any other solution than this .

N95 Backup issue (hang on model-spec backup)

I wanted to update my phone, as i missed lots of backup (still with stock firmware), but i cannot make a backup.
Backing-up process just hangs at "Phone model-specific backup". Tried this first on Win Seven - i thought it was a compatibility issue. Later tried it on XP sp2 - all the same. Cannot backup anything.
I remember it worked well on XP SP3 with the suite on the Nokia Software CD.
And i have doubts it will not fail during an update.

Stock Transport Order - Issuing Storage Location

Hi gurus -
When raising a Stock Transport Order (UB type) and Issuing Storage Location is populated manually with an SLoc not extended for material in supplying plant, will system give an error or allow STO to be saved/created without throwing an error?
