Travel Management - List of scanned document attachment

Experts,
I have attached 100 scanned document in 100 claims in transaction PR05. Now, I want to check the same in the list. Is this possible through any transaction code.
Please advise if we can attach a scanned document to an Expense Type (means expense line item in a claim).
For example, If there are 5 expense in a claim and we want to attached 5 individual receipts(scanned copies) as a support to the line items. Please advice whether it is possible.
Thanks and Regards

Thanks for your response... I had already mentioned that I am doing it through PR05. However, I want to run a report which will tell me that all the claims has supporting documents in one single file.
Hope this clarifies the requirement.
Regards,
Shiv

  • Travel Management Locking and Scan Documents

    Dear All,
    Please help :-
    1. How to lock the trip completely if required i.e. no corrections possible even after having posted the same to FI. In a normal case it is permissible in R/3, whereas based on authorization on the Enterprise Portal after posting to FI the same stands uneditable by the employee.
Is it only controllable through authorization or is there any other way ?
    2. There is an option to upload document against each Expense Type in the Comments field using load local file but I think this accepts only the text document.
Is there any other option to attach scan documents by central repository team against each Travel Expense Report ?
    3. Later if this scanned document needs to be stored at some common text server and once stored on the common text server, user while trying to directly access this common server wants to know if which document belongs to which Trip number. Please advise on this central storage and relating of document to respective trips.
    Regards

    Anil,
Did you ever find out how to do this?  I have the same requirement and have not found yet how to attach scanned or faxed receipt images to the expense report.

  • Malerial List With DMS document attached to it

    Hi
Can any one have idea from where i can get Material list to which Documents are attached.

    Hello,
In standard system, It is not possible to print attachment via the message output. Please refer Question 30 of attached
    note 457497.
457497 FAQ: Message processing in purchasing
"Can documents that are linked to a purchase order also be output in the message output? " And the answer is: No."
There is no posibility to print attached documents from ME9F. Printing the PO from ME9F and print the document from ME22N by
selecting the document and pressing print button. You will only be able to see the screen linked documents when an item in the po (or position) has been selected.

  • Old Scanned Documents attach themselves to new scans.

My new scans are being added to the PDF of an old scan?  Why?  how do I work around this?
    Example:
I scan a magazine article and mail it to a friend, later in the day I scan a photograph to mail to my daughter.  The photograph comes as page 2 in a PDF, where page 1 is the magazine article.
The only way to work around this is to go into my documents folder, delete the scan.pdf and rescan.
Is ther a setting I can place to it never combines the scans?  (IF I UNCHECK COMBINED SCANNED DOCUMENTS, I get seperate PDFs per page, so if i scan a 3 page magazine article each page is it's own file, so that is not good either).

    Hi @Ermkid,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums.  I gather that you are unable to use your AOL.com email address when using the scan to email feature of your Photosmart 5525 printer.
Please call HP’s Cloud Services at 1-855-785-2777 if you live in the USA/Canada region. If you live outside the USA/Canada region please click here to find the Technical Support number for your country/region.

  • ESS Travel Document attachment functionality

    Dear Forumites,
We are planning to Implement Travel application in ESS,
client's requirement is to upload scanned document in travel expense and report application which should be available
    for the manager to approve\Reject.
As per my understanding, we can upload documents in two ways.
    1) directly attach scanned copy which would be available in content server and through POWL Approver can approv
    2) save documents in DMS and attach links in the application.
Can anyone give more clarity on this please?
    Regards
    Hari Sankar M

Yes we already allow scanned receipts or Credit card clearing or use KPRO
    refer note 530792
Starting Enhancement Package 2 for ABAP WebDynpro, the functionality "add attachment" has been added in ESS for Travel Management
Generic Object Service. Please the SAP Note 904711 and 530792 for further information.
You can also use OPEN TEXT as a vendor for a repository!
Document types for attachments to a trip are shown due to the use
of BUS2089. Document types as archived business documents are shown
due to the use of TRAVEL. So you must customize this accordingy.
    Attachments   > BUS2089, Business documents   > TRAVEL.
Dependency on the TRVPA feature: when OAA is 0, you will only see
attachments to a trip (BUS2089), if it is 1, you will see both
attachments to a trip and also stored business documents (TRAVEL).

  • Requirement: Attach scanned document (PDF) to a batch

    Hi All,
The client has the requirement to attach the scanned document (PDF) to a specific batch for documentation and legal audit purpose. Is this possible in SAP?
I did some research, but I could not find any place in MSC2N (batch) to attach the document. I know that it is possible to attach the document in Material Master and BOM but not in batch.
The option that I am considering is to create a batch characteristics to house the SAP document number. Then we would have to create some custom program where-in user can search batch info and simply click on the link for document number and see the scanned document.
Please help to provide some suggestions on this requirement.
    Regards,
    Swapnil

I found the config (t-code:ODOC) by which we can activate document management for batches.

  • Scanning Documents into Records Management

    Hie Gurus
I would like to implement SAP Records management involving the scanning of documents into the RMS. I have the following questions.
    1. Can the scanned documents be attached to a record automatically (is it possible that during scanning an event to create a record would be triggered automatically and the person responsible for the scanning will just have to enter the detail)
    2. Is there a recommended scanning software that works well with SAP Records management stystem that i can use to scan documents directly into SAP RMS or dpes SAP have a scanning software that works with RMS.

    Hi Partson,
It's really possible. I don't know if any scan software can do it, but "Kofax Capio" can.
    Look this link:

    Hope this helps,

  • How to add attachement in ESS travel management ?

    hi,
we use travel management of ESS.
when the employee does an travel expense report when finished the traveling he
    has expense receipts.
for most of them PAPER receipts do exist.
the users want to attach the paper receipts (which are scanned and stored as PDF-files)
to the travel expense report directly in the portal.
how can i handle this ?
    reg, Martin

    Hi Martin,
I believe they can only liquidate using PR05 you can ask them to include OR numbers and Tax status.
but if they really need to include the image of receipts they can use the SBWP attached file or customize.
You can also use adobe forms i think, which allows uploading of Image (PDF files to the system)..
    thank you and regards;
    Toti

  • Using what I believe is image capture, how do I go about pulling up a scanned document and attaching it to send it via email?

Using what I believe is the app Image Capture, exactly how do I go about scanning and attaching a PDF document in order to email it?  After scanning it I'm having trouble locating it while attempting to attach it to an email.  Thanks.

At the bottom left of the Image Capture window is a drop down menu called Scan To which will let you choose where your scan will be sent. Create a folder on your desktop named Scans and send your scans to it. Then rename the scan to whatever will help you remember what it is.
Then when in Mail you can click on Attach and find the Scans folder and attach your scan.

  • Office 2007 Document Attaching in Solution Manager

    Dear Gurus,
When document attaching in Solution Manager 7.01, the system does not support Microsoft Office 2007 formats. (docx, xlsx) Are there any customizing for this topic?
    Thank you,

    Hi,
Thanks, in lieu with your detailed system message, please try with this
The warning is because the file extension docx is not known for the
system. All the known extension is defined in table SDOKMIME by standard
. And customer can extend it in table SDOKMIME_C.
Actually that is only a warning message, which will not block the
following up processing. The docx file will be attached if you click on
the green tick. And the file can be previewed and checked later on.
If you would like to get rid of this warning anyway, you may extend the
customer table using the following step:
    -spro->SAP Customizing Implementation Guide
    ->SAP NetWeaver->Knowledge Management
->Settings in the Knowledge Warehouse System
    ->Document Management Service
->Define MIME Type for File Name Extension
    -add an entry like
    File name extension = docx
MIME type of a Web object = application/vnd.openxmlformats
After everything has been done as above, please retry to attach, it should help.
    Cheers,
    sh

  • New DMS document attachment to order header - can it also be done to a task list?

With business function LOG_EAM_CI_6, you can now attach DMS documents to the order header or operation level in the 'Additional Data' tab.
Since a lot of clients use documents to list complex preventive maintenance instructions, is it also possible to attach a DMS document to a task list header (or operation) and have it show up in the new 'Additional Data' screen area of the resulting order (using a maintenance item/plan to generate the order)?  Or do we still have to use the task list operation PRT functionality and have it show up in the order's operation PRT?

    Hi Arthur,
I have configured Task list as per the SAP note 1821916  & activated DOC_TL_GUI. This allowed me to attach documents to the Operation &/or Header of the Task Lists. The problem I am facing is when I assign the task list to the work order the documents are not transferred . You have stated that they have transferred to the work order so I am wondering if there is something I missed.
    Arthur Balajthy wrote:
And I checked that by adding documents to a task list header or operation, the work order generated from a maintenance plan/item referencing that task list does have those documents attached also.
I haven't tried from a Plan but will do that now.
I assumed if they were attached to the Task List Operation they would transfer to the Work Order like everything else on the Task List
    Thanks in advance

I maintained the document ID refering to scanned document in table TOA01 with interaction record guid; however the attachment gets displayed in SAP-CRM GUI but i am not able to see the attachment in SAP-CRM GUI.
Please help if someone has encountered a similar issue or propose a way to attach the document with acitivity in interaction record.
    Regards,

    Hello Amit,
I am not able to understand your requirement correctly. Are you trying to attach the Document as a Attachment to the Interaction record (or) trying to attach it as a Archive Link Document??
If you could give me more info.. I think I will be able to assist you with this as I have worked in this area...
    Cheers..

I am trying to scan document that I will then attach in an email.  When I attach it it shows up as a picture within the email instead of an attachment an people can't open it.  Any help here?

What kind of Mac are you using, and what version of the operating system?
You should be able to select the document that you want to attach and then use the contextual menu (right click in some worlds) to compress the document, producing a .zip file. You can then attach that to the email and it won't appear as a picture within the email.
If I recall this correctly, the "compress" part in the contextual menu may have a different terminology.
