Tree control double click default behavior
Hi all,
Tree control have default behavior that expand/ collapse item when double click event occurs on parent item.
How do I to avoid this behavior to use custom double click event without open close nodes?
Thanks,
regards

Hi,
I was not able to disable the default event however I realized a VI that could be useful for you.
I've used a method to force all the tree items to be collapsed.
Take a look at the attached image.

Alex

How to control double click seepd?
hi,
I downloaded JDK 1.6 for my software, but it seems that the mouse double click does not work properly. You have to double click it really fast or more tan twice for the double click to work. How can I increase the interval between the two mouse clicks?
The platform is both Windows and Linux/Solaris, but the windows is more urgent.
Thanks in advance,
SeanTry this method.
jButton1.setMultiClickThreshhold(long milliseconds);This will work only in action event, will not work in mouse event. -
My problem:- Firefox is running but is not responding.
Gone thru the process as suggested and shown above. However when the "default" folder is opened an extensive list of 'profile' folders are shown. How do I correct the problem from this point?. eg Does one of these folders have to be manipulated in some way?If you are getting this message, read the linked article:

Problem in handling double click in the second alv grid control
Hi all,
I have a screen. In the screen , I have 2 custom container and each custom container has 1 alv grid control.
I need to handle double click event for both of alv grid controls in my screen.
I defined 2 local event handler class for each alv grid and defined 2 handle_double_click event.
In the first Alv grid double click works fine , everything is ok, world is peaceful.
But in the second alvgrid, the row parameters (E_ROW, E_COLUMN, ES_ROW_NO) comes initial so i cannot handle it.
All i need is to call a different transaction (displaying the equipment-IE03) when user double-click on a field in the second alv grid control. I tried to use hotspot_click event too but it does'nt give the row id either.
I read some posts in the forms ([Double click event of alv grid control|Double click event of alv grid control]).
I tried everything but nothing works.
Please help. Your answers will be appreciated.Hello Eagle
I am not sure where the problem lies in your case but sample report ZUS_SDN_THREE_ALV_GRIDS_01 shows that you can always find out the current cell after the double-click event (in any case you have the current cell already as IMPORTING parameters of the event):

Magic Trackpad Double Click Speed Inconsistency
I have set the double click speed in the system preferences for the Magic Trackpad at about the halfway point. But it won't stay there.
Every so often, about once a day, I find myself unable to double click and I discover that the slider that controls double click speed has gone to its highest setting. I set it back, and pretty soon the same thing happens again.
I think there's a bug. Please reconfigure the software so that the double click speed setting remains where it was put.When the Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad are used together it is not possible to set the double-click speed independently.
If the trackpad is set to the highest speed the mouse will not double click. Lower the mouse speed and the trackpad becomes hypersensitive, producing inadvertent selection and dragging problems. -
I have the strangest thing going...ARD Admin 3.2.1 launches, I get my list of clients.
I double click on a client to control ( double click set to control, not observe)
the window for the client opens to a black window. I do not see the desktop
of the client, just black. I close the window, and soon as I do, the client crashes,
and goes to offline.
This is the second weirdness I've had with ARD 3.2.1 under Leopard 10.5.1.
My Leopard install was an update, not an Archive and Install on my MBP.
I plan on trying that, as I'm still having the other issue occur randomly,
(http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1268294&tstart=0)
but any thoughts or is anyone else having the same issue?I'm not even sure if my problems are the same as anyone else's. I don't get specific errors, but Mail, Safari, Transmission, Full Tilt Poker App, and anything that uses the network causes my MacPro to behave like my crappy old PC. I get rainbow ball of death constantly and have to PowerCycle at least 3-8 times a day depending on how often I use my network.
Won't automatically crash, but Mail just stops out of the blue, Safari will become unresponsive when loading a plugin like flash (YouTube for example), transmission will just stop, same with all net-based apps.
Only error I get through Activity Monitor is that the UserAgent(something) is not responding and is red.
I need my bootcamp, and Time Machine is too useful. I need a fix very soon!! Anyone else going through this? -
Double click in ALV tree output????
Hi all,
I am able to display output in tree format. But I want to add the double click functionality to some of the fields in output. Means if I double click on some value in output tree, it should call some transaction. Please help me with this issue of double clicking.
Please tell how to handle events in this report tree display.
For the following code its displaying output in tree format and in right way. But i need to add double click functionality to this.
So provide me some sample program for this one....
* create hierarchy
CALL METHOD tree1->set_table_for_first_display
EXPORTING
it_list_commentary = lt_list_commentary
i_background_id = 'ALV_BACKGROUND'
i_save = 'A'
is_variant = ls_variant
CHANGING
it_sort = gt_sort[]
it_outtab = itab_outtab
it_fieldcatalog = t_fieldcat. "gt_fieldcatalog.
* expand first level
CALL METHOD tree1->expand_tree
EXPORTING
i_level = 1.
* optimize column-width
CALL METHOD tree1->column_optimize
EXPORTING
i_start_column = tree1->c_hierarchy_column_name
i_end_column = tree1->c_hierarchy_column_name.
In grid ALV we can have double cilck functionality using code:
CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'
EXPORTING
i_callback_program = w_repid
i_callback_pf_status_set = 'PF_STATUS'
i_callback_user_command = 'USER_COMMAND'
is_layout = ls_layout
it_fieldcat = gt_fc[]
Here we can write subroutine for USER_COMMAND and handle the double click evenet. But tell me how to provide this in tree ALV.

Single click on tree control navigation
Hello I have a tree control where I have include the navigation, I know that there is a method
HANDLE_NODE_DOUBLE_CLICK FOR G_TREE
but is there an method for only one click, I want to change my alv grid data when I click on several nodes in my tree controlHello Muhammet
I have re-written my sample report ZUS_SDN_TWO_ALV_GRIDS into ZUS_SDN_TREE_AND_GRID_CONTROL which is now display a tree control together with the ALV grid.
When you analyze this new report you will see that every step of the program logic is as I described in my previous e-mails.

Double Click to Activate Tree Item Editor
Hi, I have an mx:Tree that uses an MXML component as an item
editor. I only want to activate the editor when the user double
clicks on a tree's node. As a default, a single click will open the
the item editor on the Tree list. Can anyone help me with
this?I am pretty sure it is possible, but I have not done it. You
will probably need to cancel the default behavior of click event.

Firefox does not default to your homepage when you manually open a new tab. It should do so.
Is there a way to make FF do this? Is it an addon? If so, should this not be default behavior and just be incorporated into the browser?# Type ''about:config'' in Firefox's location bar

I am able to display output in tree format. But I want to add the double click functionality to some of the fields in output. Means if I double click on some value in output tree, it should call some transaction. Please help me with this issue of double clicking.
My code as of now is as below:

Mavericks Finder - how default to "double click opens new window"?
I am old and set in my ways. I like having the Finder open a new window when I double click a folder. Since 1984 I've arranged Finder windows in positions and sizes that suit me and I have never seen any reason to change.
In Mavericks however there does not seem to be a way to default to, "double click opens new Finder window". My choices under Finder preferences are, open in the same window; or open in a tab. I don't care for either.
Does anyone know of a way to restore the traditional Finder behavior in Mavericks? Thanks in advance.There is a great deal of logic behind this change actually
And youll find me the LAST PERSON to complain about Mavericks really,......
not ONLY is it FREE,.......its made my new Air just blazing fast
My boot time now is 8 SECONDS (my goodness)
Switching APPS is ultra-fast.........even on my Air, Photoshop opens up LIGHTNING FAST,.....just mind numbingly FAST!
Thank You to Apple, MAVERICKS IS AWESOME!!!! I REALLY LOVE IT!!!

Stack animation in Lightroom 1.1
Lightroom 1.1 has a nice feature while stacking images. An animation flips the images together. That looks nice but slows the process down, because you need to wait for the next stack until the animation has been finished. Does someone has an idea ho
