Trouble Installing Photoshop CS6 on a PC Laptop

I have Photoshop CS6, and I am trying to install it onto my new PC laptop. It has already started installing, but it doesn't seem like it is going to finish. It has been stuck at 2% for about 30 minutes and says that it will take another 2000 minutes and continues to get higher. It says it is "currently installing Microsoft VC80_CRT_x86" Earlier it seemed stuck doing the same thing, so I ended everything and tried again. How do I fix this, or is there something wrong with the disk?

Errors "Exit Code: 6," "Exit Code: 7"
There is nothing wrong with your disks, something is simply blocking the install.

Trouble Installing Photoshop CS6

I have not had any success with installing Photoshop CS6 trial. I have probably tried installing it a dozen times. I've spent the last two nights either waiting for tech support or getting poor suggestions from them on how to fix my problem. I have a new Dell windows 8 PC and yet I get between 50 and 100 errors codes after the installation takes place. I've tried many different online suggestions and tech support offers a lot of the same and they never are willing to stick around to see if their suggestions work. They say comeback if it doesn't work. The latest suggestion was to simply change the name of the OOBE folder to OOBE.old. Gee that didn't work, what a surprise. It shouldn't be this difficult to install some software. Each time I try to install I first run adobe cleaner, so I can start with a clean slate. PLEASE HELP!!!

System Requirements

Having trouble installing Photoshop CS6. "Machine restart pending". Restarting machine has no effect.

I found several related articles, but none of them could solve my problem. I got a new computer with Windows 8 on it, and I was going to install Photoshop CS6 on it, but then I got this dialogue.
Restarting the machine doesn't do anything; as the dialogue will just reappear. I had this same problem with my last computer too a year ago, but I eventally chose to ignore it then. I was able to install Photoshop successfully but there were features that didn't behave the way they were suppose to. I took record that the layers did not work independently and that the fill tool acted glitchy. When I ignored the dialogue while trying to install Illustrator and InDesign CS6, there were features that do not behave the same with them as well.
Now I really don't want to just ignore the installer this time around. I got a new computer, and I really want everything to work out. I really think that this dialogue is indicating some type of error, and I really want to work it out before I install anything. I don't want to go through the same issues again.

Photoshop has been installed. I'm thinking that there has been a different problem with my previous computer. Before, the dialogue kept popping up. Right now, it looks like everything is working. There was a very long reboot that worried me, but I think it may have been a Windows problem; as someone else with Windows 8 went through the same thing. Thank you.

if you have a dl problem, you didn't follow all 7 steps. typically, failure to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 is the problem.

I have photoshop cs6 installed on my desktop which is a PC. I also want to install it on my macbook but it is saying my serial number is invalid. I typed it in numerous times and it will not work. Help???

It's not possible. Standalone licenses are platform specific. You need a second license for your Mac or use Creative Cloud.

I bought Photoshop CS6 extended and am trying to install it on my Mac OSX Lion v. 10.7.4 and I keep coming up with the install error of:

PROBLEM INSTALLING PHOTOSHOP CS6 ON MAC LAPTOP

WHEN I CLICK THE INSTALL FOLDER FOR THE PHOTOSHOP CS6 ON MY MAC LAPTOP, IT WILL NOT GO TO THE NEXT SCREEN SO I CAN ENTER THE SERIAL NUMBER TO UPLOAD.

Have you tried pressing the return key? Which Mac laptop are you using? What are the settings you see under Resolution in the Display preference pane?

How do I install Photoshop CS6 on a 2nd computer that has no disc drive?

I'm getting a 2nd laptop for travel and I want to install Photoshop CS6 onto that computer.
I read that I can install the software on 2 computers.
My new laptop doesn't have a disc drive. Is there a way for me to install my already purchased software onto this new laptop without having to purchase an external disc drive?

you are getting this message as the serial is of an upgrade version not a complete product , if you have any previous product serial number from the drop down menu , then do enter it , if not then please contact customer support for unlocking it , (the previous version serial number should be also a retail product)

Trouble with Photoshop Cs6

Having trouble with Photoshop cs6. Brushes that i have downloaded from 3rd party websites were deleted from Photoshop after months of use. We replaced all the brushes 1 by 1 but now there is an extreme lag in almost every function in photoshop that i had never experienced before. Dont know what is going wrong.

if you're having printing issues, indicate the exact make and model of your printer, paper size, image dimensions in pixels (so many pixels wide by so many pixels high). if going through a RIP, specify that too.

Problems installing Photoshop CS6 Extended

Hello to whoever is reading this - I have a problem installing Photoshop CS6 Extended (as you can guess from the title) due to the fact that I download a pre release version of it (not the beta) And I've looked everywhere on my laptop and I still can't install the trial even though I've deleted everything relevant to the pre release version, it can't be my normal version of Photoshop CS5 can it? It'sonly occured to the Photoshop CS6 Extended trial, all the other Creative Suite trials from Adobe Download Assisstant work.

Check the start page of this forum or the PS forum. There used to be special threads listed in teh yellow info boxes with info on how to resolve these issues.
