Trouble with in app purchases

I am trying to make a purchase within an app game, and everytime I try to make it go through, the purchase cannot be completed. I checked for internet connection, it is connected. I turned it off and cam back but the purchase will not go through. I keep getting a notice that I have to ask itunes support. Is there any suggestions on getting my purchase through?

Yes. You have to do as instructed. This message actually means what it is saying. You need to contact iTunes Store support for help. Something red flagged your iTunes account or something weird is going on and only iTunes Store support personnel can help with this now.

    I'm having the exact same problem.  Unfortunately, I can't tell you what is causing it, but I can tell you what it isn't(at least in my case).  I made an in app purchase yesterday using a MasterCard I had linked to my account with no problems.  This morning, my card from my new bank came in so I switched it over(American Express), and all of a sudden can't make IAP.  I thought maybe there was an issue with the card, so I tried it out on a .99 app, and it worked no problem.  So I got with tech support and they had me reset all of my phone settings -_-, then my network settings.  No change.  I tried restarting the phone obviously, closing the App and trying again, no luck.  They suggested I call my bank and make sure the address I had on file for the card matched what I supplied for my Apple account, and that didn't fix it either.  I tried IAP on two different apps and it was the same, could not connect to App Store error.  I'm still trying to figure it out, and I'm sorry I can't be of more help, but I hope I at least save you some trouble of trying these things.  If I find anything out I'll let you know.

  • I am havering trouble with an app purchase. In the app there are gems you can buy an I tried to buy $50 worth but it kept saying it wasn't working. Then I checked my bank acc and it has charged me $1 four times. I don't need it to change to $200.

    I need help on canceling purchases. I was on an app and buying a $50 gem thing and it kept saying it wasn't registering so I kept hitting it and now on my bank acc there are 4 $1 charges that I'm afraid will change to $200 and I do not need that at all. Can someone help me out please?

    For the $50, does anything show on your account's purchase history ? If you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases. On your phone you can a cut-down version of your purchase history, and optionally contact iTunes Support, via http://reportaproblem.apple.com
    For the $1, did you add or change your credit card details on your iTunes account ? Each time that you do so a small temporary store holding charge (i.e. $1) may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

  • STILL having trouble with in app purchases

    Everything I've read this morning says everything was up and running but since yesterday's outage I have been unable to complete an in app game purchase in a game I play called Puzzles and Dragons.  After confirming I want to make the purchase it then gives me a message that says "Your Purchase Could Not Be Completed" then it tells me to press the home button and restart my phone but regardless of how many times I do that it does the same thing. What gives? Is it something I can fix or is apple lying and everything's not running as it should?

    One of your kids made an in app purchase that you did not know about. Some apps include in app purchase and games do this quite often. The game itself is free, but you might have to purchase additional items to enhance the game or to unlock certain levels.
    You can prevent this from happening in  Settings>General>Restrictions>In App Purchases>Off.

    If you are saying that after signing into iCloud it is telling you device is not found, it could be for any number of reasons. If the battery is dead, if the SIM has been removed, or if someone else has the phone and they have restored it, it will not be shown. Also, if you located it once and then sent a remote wipe, it disables the abililty to locate the phone with Find My iPhone.

    Having trouble with mail.app always reply all is cc'ing myself. Solution was to add another address under the account so that it recoginzes aliases as well as the primary account that you are sending from. Then it will recognize all the addresses and aliases associated with the account.

    Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
    Step 1
    Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
    from the menu bar.
    Enter the name of the crashed application or process in the Filter text field. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
    When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
    Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
    Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
