Troubles with fglrx + Radeon HD 3470

Question

Hi all, I used open source driver until a few days ago but I wanted to improve graphic performances so I tried to install and configure Catalyst driver through the catalyst repository. Now the graphic environment(Gnome 3) works but animations are slow and if I force the the use of Gnome Shell it present a lot of artifacts.

Have a look at the options here
I've been using mplayer with the ffmpeg-mt patch for a few days now and there's definitely a quality boost.
