Trying to access the java script files via jar file in WEB SERVER

hi all,
I am trying to access the java script files via jar file ,which is present in Apache webserver in order to minimise the number of hits to app server.some thing like cache ...
in jsp the code goes like this...
     <script type="text/javascript"  archive="http://localhost:14000/dojo.jar!" src="dojo.jar/parser.js" " ></script>{code}
But i am not able to access the js file which is put in jar file present in the  webserver.

Hi,
You can use DWR (Direct Web remoting) for that. It is easy AJAX for java. ou can directly call the java script function from java class and also java class from javaScripts..

  • Problem in run the Java ME application using jar file

    Hi all,
    I am using Eclipse 3.3 with CLDC and MIDP, I add external jar file for my application. The jar contains MIDlet and some classes. I create a class (not MIDlet) that have same package name and Class as in jar file.
    Say for example the jar file have com.Displaytext and My new project have com.Displaytext.
    The problem is my application takes the class file in external jar but my intent is the application class file needs to work.
    I welcome your answers.

    For class loading inside or outside of JAR files I use this code:
    void loadClass (String className) {
        String prefix = "de.test.";
        String postfix = ""; // use this if your classes have a name pattern
        Object o = Class.forName(prefix + className + postfix).newInstance();
    void loadClass (String className, Class[] paramClasses, Object[] params) {
        String prefix = "de.test.";
        String postfix = ""; // use this if your classes have a name pattern
        Object o = Class.forName(prefix + className + postfix).getConstructor(paramsClasses).newInstance(params);
    }

  • How to access the *.java file corresponding to a TypeElement T?

    Here is a problem:
    How to access the *.java file corresponding to a TypeElement T from a AnnotationProcessor environment?
    Let us say the hook method
    public boolean process(Set<? extends TypeElement> annos, RoundEnvironment roundEnv)
    is invoked with a TypeElement T such that T.getQualifiedname() = "a.b.c.X"
    And the problem is how to locate the file that has the *.java source code for a.b.c.X?
    That is the file that has the source code for a.b.c.X say "some/path/a/b/c/X.java"?
    For simplicity, let us assume that TypeElement T corresponds to a top-level Java class.

    Pinaki wrote:
    That is not something you as the annotation processor author should be asking about. That is something you the person configuring the javac environment should set up via the -d option or its equivalent.
    I strongly recommend using a separate output directory hierarchy.That is the way the current implementation is. The annotation processor takes a -Aout= <some directory path> to write generated output relative to a user-specified location (which defaults to the class output location).That is contrary to the design of the annotation processing facility. The intended use is for that information to be configured via options like "javac -d".
    Additionally, IMO it is a serious configuration error to put generated files and input files, presumably tracked under version control, in the same directory. Interesting you said that. We are just running some "field trial" with these things and some users want them to be in the same directory of the original *.java files (especially when their source files are spread across many roots) .
    Who knows what the user wants?The user does and the user is free to (mis)configure their environment however they like ;-) However, that is the user's option and the user has control of this via the javac command line. The annotation processor is not the proper place to configure this setting; see slide 7 of http://blogs.sun.com/darcy/resource/J1_2006-BOF-0606.pdf for some thoughts on different roles in annotation processing.
    presumably tracked under version control, in the same directory.version control is another 'usability issues' that we are trying to get our heads around with this stuff. "To check-in or not?" - that seems to be the question. When presented these facilities without any cue, "the users" were divided -- some wanted them to be checked-in, some did not. The context where these generated files being used -- there exists some rationale to check them in a version control system.The right answer depends on the circumstances, but IMO generally generated files should not be checked in under version control, especially if they are derived from other source files. Checking in generated files of this nature just creates the opportunity for them to get out of date with the originating files.

    Hi DeaconTomColorado,
    Please see "Error occurred when trying to access this service" when logging on to Acrobat.com.
    Adobe has just released an update to Adobe Reader, so if you're accessing the service via Reader, please let us know whether the update helps resolve the issue.

    Hi hpmg,
    It seems you are trying to access the service via Adobe Reader. Make sure you are signed in with your Adobe ID. Is Reader updated to the latest patch v 11.0.09?
    It might be possible that a firewall or antivirus might be breaking the connectivity from Reader to the server.
    Try accessing the service from the browser: https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf  and check if that works for you.

  • To run a java program via a batch file,when called from a web server

    REM This batch file runs the Spider with the [-v] option.
    REM Lines 51 through 54 are simple DOS commands..they call the Spider
    REM The location of the Spider package is the important piece of information here...
    REM a batch file has access to the whole computer where the server resides.

    CLASSPATH=%JDK%\jre\lib\*.jar;.;%JDK%\jre\lib\ext\*.jar;.;%CLASSPATH%
    java spiderpackage.EntryPoint -v
    endlocal
    I am trying to run this batch file from my web server.I can see nothing on my browser.I can run the same program from my machine but unable to run from web server.what should I do?

    I am making my question more clear...
    I have a Windows batch (*.bat) file that echoes some html, then calls a java program the output of which is html as well, then echoes the final html.
    To make sure that the java program gets properly executed, I set the necessary environment variables (e.g., JDK, PATH, CLASSPATH, etc.). The script looks something like this:
    setlocal
    set JDK=path_to_JDK
    set PATH=path_to_java
    set CLASSPATH=path_to_java_classes
    echo ^<html^>^<body^>
    call java foo
    echo ^</body^>^</html^>
    endlocal
    The idea, of course, is to call this script through a browser, on a web server.
    Curiously, both echo lines return to the browser just fine, but any output from
    the java program (which just writes html to STDOUT) does not make it back.
    Can someone explain to me why this is happening? How do I set things up so that the output (STDOUT and STDERROR) from the java program make it back to the browser?

  • An IOException was thrown trying to access the WSDL at the given URL.

    Hello
    I deployed webservices on weblogic 8.1.5. I defined Security policy on webservices. The server is allowed to access from both inside and outside our domain. When I access with internal ip address, trying to test methods from Launch Test Page from Admin console. When I test a method, it prompts for user name and password. I enter username and password, the invocation is successful.
    After I access Launch Test Page with external ipaddress (from outside the domain), trying to test method, the server did not ask me username and password, I get following exception. The only port open to external world is 80. The apache is configured with wlplugin and divert all trafic to port 7001.
    I was wondering if any one has seen this and how did you fix. Please advise. I appriciate your help.
    Thank you,
    Balaji

    Hi Francois,
    The JAR file generated by the <clientgen> Ant task, has a static WSDL inside it.
    To get your JAX-RPC client to use it, write code that looks like this:
    MyService_Impl service = null;
    MyServicePort port = null;
    try
    // There are two constructors for every XXX_Impl class.
    // The one that accepts a wsdlURL (as a String) will
    // request the WSDL from the service provider. The
    // no-arg one will just use the statis WSDL in the
    // client.jar generated by the <clientgen> Ant task.
    service = new MyService_Impl();
    port = service.getMyServicePort();
    MyObject response = port.myServiceOperation();
    Again, this will cause the WLS client-side JAX-RPC classes, in the webserviceclient.jar,
    to use the static WSDL (in the client.jar generated by the <clientgen> Ant task)
    to invoke the target web service. It will not send a request to the target web
    service to retrieve it's WSDL, because it already has it.

    Hello,
    I'm trying to access some simple web services which are implemented using
    some Perl module (don't ask ....).
    After I've gotten their WSDL file, I can successfully generate stubs
    using
    the clientgen ant task.
    However, when I try to access the webservice from within my EJB's, I
    get the
    following error message:
    An IOException was thrown trying to access the WSDL at the given URL.
    java.io.FileNotFoundException: Response: '411: Length Required' for url:
    'http://petest01:8082/cgi-bin/WebStore.cgi'
    It seems as if the perl SOAP implementation doesn't allow me to check
    their
    WSDL file. Just sending the SOAP POST messages works fine.
    I explicitly specified the 'saveWSDL' option to the clientgen task, but
    it
    still tries to access the WSDL file at runtime. Any way to resolv this
    issue?

    Can anyone help me to resolve this issue?
    Thanks in Advance.

    i have installed BO SDK 3.1 , Service pack 3. It comes woth JDK 1.5 version. i have not done any chnages to it. I impoprted all the jar files related to BO into eclipse.

    2)  But the thing is, that code needs to run, when i import the .class file into cmc. The process how i imported the .class file to cmc.

  • An error occurred while trying to access the service?

    I'm trying to convert a PDF into Excel but I get the message 'an error occurred while trying to access the service'.
    I have tried logging into my Adobe account online and doing it within there, but once I have exported the file and pressed 'convert' it simply says 'conversion failure' with no explanation.
    My subscription is still valid, so I don't see why the problems?  Has anyone else had this issue and managed to fix it?  I get the error message regardless of whether I'm trying to convert to Word or Excel.
    Any ideas greatly appreciated!!
    Thanks
    Sophie

    Hi SHurcs,
    I'm sorry that you're having such trouble with your ExportPDF subscription. Does this error occur for one particular file, or with any file that you try to convert? What operating system and browser are you using?
    To get us started, here are a few things that you can try:
    In Reader, sign out, and then sign back in.
    Use a supported web browser:  http://www.adobe.com/acom/systemreqs/
    Clear the browser cache.
    If you're using a networked computer, make sure that there are no firewall/proxy settings that prevent you from uploading files to the Internet.
    Make sure that the files you're trying to convert are within the file-size limits for ExportPDF (100 MB).
    If the problem persists, please let us know, and tell us a bit more about the files that you're converting.
    Best,

    i'm continually having issues with trying to convert my files from PDF to excel.  I keep on getting the error message "An error occured while trying to access the service" with no real explanation as to what is wrong.  I've tried several times on several different computers, logging on and off, changing users...same message everytime.  I have a time sensitive project to complete, and can't get it done if this conversion can't be done.  HELP!

    Hi J,
