TTrying to download iTunes to my laptop for the first time, it says thank you for downloading but nothing is happening? Help please, I'm trying to fix my phone after doing the latest download

Our OS is Windows Vista and we have ff v. 27 running. I try to add Download Helper and don't have any success. When I click add, It says its installed and I can get the little circle icon in the toolbar. When I open a video nothing happens. Am I not installing properly. BTW, I'm a total dummy on this computer.
I've used this extension on Youtube from time to time. An icon appears next to the title of the video, below the player, and I click that. I'm not sure how it works on other sites. (Sometimes the icon is missing, but I see a little downward pointing triangle. In that case, I reload the page.)

Try placing the iPod in recovery mode and then restoring the iPod via iTunes. For recovery mode see:

I have tried to download Mavericks on my 2010 iMac(10.6.8), but nothing happens, not even the install app downloads, also I tried to download chrome, I moved it to the applications folder and when I opened the folder it wasn't there. I have a 1tb hard drive that is mostly empty. By the way I just got this imac used from a reseller.
Mavericks downloads into the Applications folder, where you can install it. Some Mac App Store Troubleshooting information and how to resume a download that was interrupted; some of the information here might get you an answer. Failing that, try contacting Apple Support.

I have a mac book pro. Yesterday the mail app failed to open. I have tried to open it from the dock and the application folder but nothing happens. Does anyone have any suggestions to get it to work?
You don't need iDVD unless you are going to make DVDs. If you are just trying to share files, iDVD won't help you at all.
What you want to do is in iMovie, choose File/Share/File, and export that way. It creates an .mp4 file that should be readable on Macs or Windows.
You could also File/Share/YouTube if you don't mind posting them to YouTube, because of course YouTube videos are watchable by any Mac or Windows computer made in the last 10 years. -
I have just setup a new ipad and first app I downloaded was ibook. my ipad says its installed but I can't find it. any suggestions please?
For some reason this happens to some people. The one thing that works is to reboot your iPad. To reboot: Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time for at least 10 seconds (ignore the red slider) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad wil restart. Once it's back up, I'm betting you'll see iBooks.

Try updating your iTunes using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer file downloaded from the Apple website:

When I go to download itunes onto my computer it says its not a valid Win32 application.
I have been trying to download itunes onto my computer. I have 2 one is xp service pack 3 and the other is vista. I mostly use the xp, but I cannot dowload itunes onto either computer. It says its not a valid Win32 application. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this problem so I can download itunes. Thanks in advance.
That suggests that the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer? -
Why can't I restore my iphone 4. it says to connect to itunes to restore and emergency calls only. But it doesn't restore.
Reboot your computer
Connect the USB end of the cable to a USB port directly on the computer, not a hub
Disable your firewall and antivirus
Launch iTunes
Disconnect the phone from the other end of the cable
Hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons until the screen goes black, then release the SLEEP button but contiune holding the HOME button
Connect the cable to the phone while still holding HOME
Wait for iTunes to recognize a phone in "recovery mode", then release HOME and your phone should restore. -
When i click on the download itunes 7.0 it just says thank you but...
it doesnt show up on my computer or show any change! What do i do at the thank you page or whatever
I found that this works if anyone actually is reading this:
1.go to control panel and click on add/remove hardware
2.find the itunes symbol that is coming out the box and hit [change]
3.click the one that says repair missing files and let it run its course
if that doesnt work for you then if you ever get it running then dont have that album scrolly thing at the top on it makes mine run way better
though every once in awhile it freezes for me so i still wont the frickn thing fixed -
