Trying to tweak RegEx used to replace ampersands

I Googled the Web and found a RegEx (regular expression) to find ampersands on my Web pages (that were not already part of HTML entities) and replace them with the correct HTML entity for an ampersand. It worked well except in one situation: It will find an ampersand that begins an HTML entity if that ampersand is immediately preceded by a comma. I'm not good enough with RegEx to know how to tweak it and solve the comma problem. Can someone make a suggestion? Here it is ...

what I would like to know was quite simply the original character string you wont search and replace. Unfortunately, this statement "and solve the comma problem" did confuse me a bit.
By not stand here with empty hands, I would to give this little hint I remember from an earlier thread (maybe it's wellknown already): If the caption contains an ampersand, the character following the ampersand is underlined to indicate a keyboard mnemonic, use two ampersands: "&&".

Try to change your Apple ID back to your old email address (http://appleid.apple.com) in order to set up and activate the phone. After the set up please sign out of iCloud and turn off "Find My iPhone" (Settings > iCloud) - do that on all your devices -, then change your Apple ID to your new address again and then add your iCloud account on you devices again.

Replacing Ampersand character - &

I am working on the PO Layout for Oracle Applications. I have managed to get the program to show long text notes associated with the purchase order lines. However some notes include ampersand characters.
I have no control over the generation of the data (as it is Oracle standard PO data definition) so I cannot replace it in the pl/sql.
I have tried using the replace function, but am struggling.
the following code contains my latest attempt, and also a commented out line which simply shows the text (works fine if the text has no & character) and another attempt I have made.

Hi Will:
Unfortunately replacing & in XML is already too late - you don't have valid XML so you can't apply a stylesheet. If you could wrap a cdata section around your & you would be fine:
<![CDATA[" text "]]>
, but it seems that you can't modify the XML - so you are between a rock and a hard place.

I have a PSD file open and I added a new layer via the copy command. I have added a Layer Mask to the new layer and I'm trying to use the Brush Tool with black forground to cover part of the new layer. I'm following an online tutorial step by step, but when I try to use the Brush Tool I get "could not use color replacement tool because it only works in full color mode". The Image>Mode is set to RGB. I'm stuck!

First, show the tools optiond in the bottom of the screen (shortcut F4)
Now look at which of the three options you can select, brush, impressionist brush or replacement tool. I suspect you have to select the brush.

The reason of the message is that when you are painting on a mask you are in greyscale mode for the mask. For instance, if you paste a coloured layer into a mask, it will be converted to greyscale.

How to use independent replacement paths for same KF over several months?

Dear Experts,
I have a query requirement to show KF values for items that meet a condition on another KF for a five month period. I know that I can accomplish this using a replacement path variable on item for one month at a time, however I am not sure how to do this for multiple months in one query.
This is an example:
Month 1
KF 1 > 0 for Items A & B.........so show KF 2 for for Items A & B
Month 2
KF 1 > 0 for Items B & C.........so show KF 2 for for Items B & C
Month 3
KF 1 > 0 for Items A & C.........so show KF 2 for for Items A & C

When I tried to change my network settings an annoying popup window says "your network settings have been changed by another application'. I have no idea what the message is all about and when I close this window it immediately pops up again and prevents me -as far as I can tell -from changing my Airport settings? I need advice on how to get this wireless setup done. Maybe a reset? or something else? I have the DSL phone line plugged into WIndsteam Seimens Speedstream 4200 modem and then the ethernet (yellow) wire from the WIndsteam Seimens Speedstream 4200 modem to the port on the dome that is a circle of dots.

1)Can you explain how using the AEBS as a bridge will work with the Seimens Speedstream4200?
As a bridge, the AEBS will basically become a wireless access point. This will allow the AEBS to provide a wireless network, but still allow the Speedstream to provide NAT & DHCP services for the wireless clients connected to the AEBS. If the AEBS was left as a router, you would have a double-NAT condition which isn't necessary bad in itself, but would create a second subnet. That would make it more difficult for clients connected to the AEBS to access clients connected to the Speedstream.
2) Is there a link that will guide me through the steps to set the AEBS as a bridge?
You can easily reconfigure the AEBS as a bridge using the AirPort Utility.
ref: AirPort Utility > Select the AEBS > Manual Setup > Internet > Internet Connection > Connection Sharing = Off (Bridge Mode)
3)Can I just connect the DSL phone line to the AEBS and eliminate the Speedstream4200?
Unfortunately no. The AEBS does not have a built-in DSL modem. You will still need the Speedstream to provide this function.

Simply copy the iPhoto Library from the Pictures Folder on the old Machine to the Pictures Folder on the new Machine.
Then launch iPhoto. That's it.
This moves photos, events, albums, books, keywords, slideshows and everything else.

You'll need a 2.5" parallel ATA interface hard drive. Most are 5400RPM, forget 7200RPM drives and slower 4200rpm drives. You don't want a serial ATA (SATA) drive, as that has a different connector and won't work.

When i am trying to load data using SQL ldr the loading in between hangs. As well as when i am trying to transfer text files which are approx 14Gb using winscp then it show me error as mentioned below:
Host is not communicating for more than 15 seconds.Still waiting..............
Not:if problem repeats , by turning off 'Optimize connection buffer size'
Warning : Abort this operation will close the connection
I talked to our n/w admin regarding the same problem
He blaim that its due to oracle not by any n/w
can anyone help me in this respect.
