Trying to Unoptimize a Dedup Volume - Progress stays at 0%

For various reasons, I'm trying to rehydrate my dedup volumes on a recently deployed File Server 2012 R2. There's 5 volumes with dedup turned on - savings ranging from 28% to 49%, and the sizes range from 200GB to 2TB.
I'm running the powershell command:
start-dedupjob -volume "I:" -type unoptimization -priority high
However, after a day, the result of "get-dedupjob" is that the unoptimization type is still running, but shows 0% progress. Shouldn't there be some indications that the job is running? I know the job is going to take awhile, but even
the small volumes aren't moving.
I also ran "get-dedupstats" and compared the before and after "optimizedfiles" category, and that is unchanged as well.
Any ideas?
(Sidenote: prior to running the command, I put the volume folders in the "excluded" folder list so they wouldn't reoptimize after the job was done. Is this right?)
There's no error in the event logs, and in the Dedup log files, it shows that the job has started, and requested memory space, but nothing after that.

I'm seeing this same behavior when running an Unoptimization job - 0% progress made, even though Get-DedupeStatus shows a decreasing number of OptimizedFiles and a decrease in SavedSapce. I thought the job was "broken" when I saw it at first, so
I stopped the job and ran it again. It seems like Get-DedupStatus is a half decent method of tracking progress, but this job seems to take a VERY long time to complete.
Just posting this to stay informed of any future updates on the issue, if any... not trying to piggy-back on the post requesting help.

Here's some more info.
I tried installing the latest iTunes to my housemate's PC, logging into iTMS with my account, authorizing his machine to play my content, restoring my iPod to the factory settings, downloading the videos and copying them to my iPod.
It worked fine, and I can play my videos.
I have done the exact SAME thing on my own home PC twice, after completely uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and the Apple Software Updater. But I still can't get any videos downloaded on my home PC to play on my iPods.
Any thoughts?

Manual replica creation of DeDup Volumes

Hi,
we are on the way to update a lot of our file Servers to Windows Server 2012.
DeDup will be enabled on the volumes.
We are going to to backup these voumes via DPM2012SP1.
Now my question: Is it possible to create a Manual replica (for example with the help of USB external drives) for dedup enabled volumes or does the replica creation process have to be triggered from within DPM console so that all data will be transfered
over the Network?

Hi,
Unfortumatly, you cannot perform a manual replica creation for a deduped volume in a deduped state, however, you can perform the following, but don't think it would provide you much benefit.
1) On the protected server that has the dedup volume you want to protect, create a dummy folder in the root of the volume.
2) On the DPM Server, protect the dedup volume, except uncheck the dummy folder. Choose to make a manual replica.
3) Copy the contents of the protected volume to the replica volume using any method you choose.
4) Run the mandatory consistency check to make sure the data is equivelent.
5) On the DPM Server, modify the PG and now include the dummy folder - basically uncheck the drive letter and recheck it so DPM will protect the whole volume now.
6) On the protected server, delete the dummy folder.
7) Re-run a new consistency check, and DPM will now protect the volume in a dedup state. This will result in only transfering deduped blocks, and leaving non-dedup blocks intact.
Again, that may not buy you much and may be a waste of time - but give it whirl.

If the volume is working properly meaning if you do have sound and you can adjust the volume up and down, try this now.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Well the piece of plastic that goes into the thin slot to depress the switch is very thin. You could try making a little piece to go in the hole that sits under the lid when it is closed. Maybe bend a paper clip or something, but don't make it any longer than the original went into the slot, and tape it in place under the door itself so that it still functions as it originally did. Make sure whatever you "create" does not fall down into the printer, obviously since it is electrical inside. It just has to go in far enough to trip the switch. Remember if you override it altogether, that the print mechanism will go back and forth so keep things clear of it, especially fingers.

Why won't volume levels stay saved? ro

After mixing I save and it appears to save everything. All the recording or overdubs save. It is just the volume controls that keep resetting.
When I open it back up, some of the volume levels on some of the tracks have reset to zero. It doesn't do it on all of the tracks, it is just random ones. Therefore, I am having to remember exactly what I am doing and having to reset and check over everything each time. That's suppose to be the beauty of "saving", so I don't have to keep going back and reset the mixing levels. It appears that after I have added about over 50 tracks, some of those tracks are the ones that start doing this. Anyone know what is causing the volume levels to not stay set at their correct levels on all the tracks? thanks

Trying to get mc to play and stay open/buttons within

Hi everyone, i am in desperate need to get this to work! I've
tried posting previously and this is what i have so far now...
I am creating a navigation bar in Flash (which will then be
used in Dreamweaver). When you mouse over each topic in menu (ex.
Products), i want it play a movie clip (so it shoots out a sub-menu
underneath). so far so good, but the only thing is, the sub-menu
won't stay open in order for me to click on buttons in it. For each
button, I assigned it the Behavior to go to a url. Also, I tested
the buttons within the mc and they don't seem to direct me to url.
do you think maybe it's because it's nested within the movie clip??
Is there an easier way to go about this?

[Boot Camp] Trying to partition for Windows and progress bar remains with "Status : Idle"

I'm trying to setup WIndows using Boot camp on my iMac OS X10.7.4. It worked perfectly fine until yesterday. I don't have a OS X installation disc or something to re-install or something. But wanted to know meanwhile, if there is someone who can provide inputs on fixing this issue? I tried to do the following -
1. Repair Disc Permissions [Didn't Fix th Issue]
2. Force Quitting the Applications and Restarting [iMac did not shutdown/restart at all. Did a force reboot, still didn't work!]
3. Verifying and Repairing the Disc [No Problems Found]
Its really important for me to get this working by today!

So your problem I gather is you don't know how to use Lion Recovery Mode; don't have a TimeMachine or other backups.
Force hard shutdowns never have good outcome.
Maybe you should skip Windows native install and stick to use a VM

I recommend shrink Mac volume (Lion Recovery: Option "Recovery" or Command-r)
Then stretch back to full size again - after you have backups
