Trying to upgrade version, getting blue sign in sc...
I am getting a blue screen with dots going round saying it is Signing in. But it does not. This was after trying to put in Upgrades. This is the second time this has happened. Cannot now use Skype at all.

Having upgraded to latest version I am now not able to login to skype.
The same happened the last time I updated skype.
Why is this happening? It ought to be easy with no problems

Trying To Upgrade Phone - Getting Error Message When I Try To Upgrade to Incredible
I'm trying to upgrade to the incredible on the web site and it comes back with an error message. I tried all other phones and I could select them fine.
Thoughts?OK think I figured it out. says I need to change data plan. If I just get the pre-owned one it doesn't say that. time to call support.

I am an existing customer, upgrading a device. I was told by a phone representative yesterday that there is a promotion from 9/22-10/31 which offers the bill credit to upgrades. Is this true? The latest deals on VerizonWireless says "Upgrades are excluded".
(Q2) My primary reservation about More Everything is monthly line access charge for basic phones.
- AT&T offers a Basic line for $15/line.
- Verizon offers a Basic line for $30/line.
Yesterday, I was told by a phone representative that they can offer a $10/month credit for my basic lines.
Today, I was told by a store representative that they cannot offer such a credit as my basic lines are under contract.
I want to convert to More Everything. I want to add additional data devices on my account. But - I do not know what to trust - I am afraid I am going to get a billing surprise on a new plan.>> Using Edge and getting a discount upgrade are two different things.
I understand Edge vs. discount upgrade/subsidized device. I am asking specifically about Edge. Whether a $100 bill credit promotion exists for existing customers.

Cannot open iphoto library, getting a message staing I have to upgrade to see my library which I have done four times with no results. I just had iphoto opened an hour before without a problem and have been using it for weeks before today. Any ideas as to what is going on?
Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
iPhoto 8 (09) and earlier- run the options indicated
iPhoto 9 (11) and later- run Option #4 to rebuild the database
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager (iPhoto 8 or earlier or IPhoto 11 and later) and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the
File ➙ Rebuild Library (iPhoto 8 or earlier)
or
Library ➙ Rebuild Library (iPhoto 9 or later)
menu option to rebuild the library.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

For several months I have been trying to upgrade my Firefox version, which is no longer supported by several software platforms I need as a songwriter, such as Flashplayer, etc. After I download the upgrade all I get is a message that the file is corrupted. I am not very tech-savvy so I need to talk with someone who can explain what to do in layman's terms.

I have a new computer running os10.9. my old computer ran cs5.5(upgrade version). I am trying to get CS5.5onto my new computer. when i load cs5.5 towards the end of the install it asks for the cs5.5 serial number. i put that in and everything is accepted but then it asks for a serial number for a full version of a product which men is design premium cs3 but it doesn't give me that product as a choice from the drop down menu. it only gives me adobe master collection cs3. why when i have purchased all these different upgrades can i now not use them and how can i sort this out. i need cs5.5 on my new computer.

I'm trying to upgrade my OS in my iPhone. In iTunes, I backed everything up, then hit upgrade. All I get is This version of iTunes is the current version. How do I override that and download OS 5.0?
You cannot override it.
What version of itunes do you have?
You need itunes 10.1 or higher to get ios 4.2.1 which is the latest available for the iphone 3G. -
Trying to upgrade iPad software to newest version. It downloads but stops while backing up and says not enough space on hard drive to back up if i continue all media on iPad will be lostor deleted. Can I get it back after upgrade by just synching or can I set it to backup to an external drive? Thanks for any help. I only use the laptop for itunes now as it has such little space left.
I would recommend deleting contents off your hard-drive to make space (how much is left..you should be having 15% free as a general practice) and backing up the phone prior to upgrading.

Yes it would, possibly even brick it.
Have successfully connected my ipod nano with iTunes so looks like the device driver is working.
Can I use my ipod nano USB connector to check?
It is not much help to you, since the device that you need still not recognized.
Anyway looks like I may have to swallow the loss of data. Have set-up a call for tomorrow with Apple support so will wait until after this before doing the factory restore!
