TS failing on Use Toolkit Package

Started to have problems installing Win7 x64 on machines (HP EliteBook 9470) after removing drivers belonging to other package.
Keep on getting these error messages:
C:\_SMSTaskSequence\Packages\S01000FB\Scripts\ZTISCCM.wsf(11, 3) (null): Library not registered.
C:\_SMSTaskSequence\Packages\S01000FB\Scripts\ZTISCCM.wsf(1655, 4) Microsoft VBScript-runtime error: Object needed: 'oUtility.Arguments'
Failed to run the action: Use Toolkit Package.
Incorrect function. (Error: 00000001; Source: Windows)
As stated above, the drivers that were removed belonged to another package (another HP machine), so it should not have affected this package. Or so i thought...
Every HP 9470 now bombs out on Use Toolkit Package, after the step "Setup Windows and ConfigMgr".
Initially i figured this was a driver related error, so drivers for the NIC has been removed and imported again (Intel 82579LM).
I've tried three different file versions, two from HP and one (newer date) from Dell and finally a native driver from Intel (dated from this year) to no avail.
The files are all downloaded fine.
I can ping internal servers and external sites.
When the machine boots up after this failed install, the icon for wireless connection behaves weird:
It shows as if there are wireless networks available but not connected.
Hovering the mouse over, it does say that it is connected and i can reach both internal servers and external websites.
Unplug and replug the network cable results in the icon for cabled network showing up for a few seconds, then disappering again, acting as if there is no LAN card available.
There are no missing drivers (no exclamation marks) in Device manager.
Anyone else seen this or something like it?
This happens on any HP machine we have.

SCCM 2012 R2 CU1 with MDT 2013
The problem shows itself when deploying Windows 7 x64 with x86 boot image on the HP z420 and HP zBook 14. HP 9470 has not been tested yet. However, everything works fine with x64 boot. I do not want to use the Z64 boot image!
Does anyone have any solution for this?
The error just popped up by itself without us consciously made any changes in the environment. Has worked well previously with the x86 boot image and Win7 x64 on these models before.

"Use Toolkit Package" and "Gather" - When do you have to run them?

I have inherited a huge task sequence (MDT 2012 integrated with SCCM 2012) that calls "Use Toolkit Package" and "Gather" many many times even though there are only a few reboots.
Is it true that the "Use Toolkit package" step (followed immediately by Gather) only need to be run right at the beginning of the TS and only after every reboot?
Is it also true that the "Gather" step on it's own only needs to be run when you have run another step which may alter/create a variable which is used in the rules? (i.e. customsettings.ini).

My question was when exactly do you need to run the steps. I suspect that many people have task sequences with loads of "use toolkit package" and "gather" in places when they are NOT needed.
First let's look at the step "Use Toolkit Package". There is no reference to that task sequence step in the MDT documentation. Im aware that this simply copies the "deployment share" so all the scripts etc that are necessary for future task sequence steps
are available (In MDT only environments this was not necessary as the UNC path to the deployment share was always available - so this is an SCCM only step). Your reference states that it copies it to the local hard drive. This is not entirely true. I understand
that when Winpe is loaded, it is loaded into a ramdrive and therefore my "Use Toolkit package" step which is the first in the task sequence is loaded somewhere into the "RAM" drive (probably under "X" drive somewhere?).
So my assumption is that "Use toolkit package" must be run as the first task sequence step, then any time immediately after the winpe system is restarted. If, during winpe and before the OS is loaded onto the hard drive, you format the hard drive (which
is often the case), you do not need to run "Use Toolkit.." as it still exists in the RAM drive. When you apply the OS and restart, and then run "Use toolkit.." again, it must magically work out that it is to then load to the hard drive and not the RAM drive.
However, once the "deployment share" has been loaded to hard drive, Im assuming that you never need to run the "Use toolkit.." again even if the system restarts as once it is loaded to the hard drive, it remains there (assuming you dont format disks again
which is unlikely after the OS has loaded).
The answer to "when must you run Gather" is alot trickier. The first assumption is that Gather has to be run immediately after "Use toolkit..." as the system has initialised or restarted and none of the variables created by "gather" exist.
Im guessing that "gather" may need to be run when you suspect that something in the rules file has changed. For example, you may have run a task sequence step that sets variable "A" for the first time. Your rules file may generate another variable, "B",
based on variable "A" so "gather" must be run to evaluate "B".
However, once the OS has loaded and "gather" has been run, the variables.dat file is created and remains permanently on disk so that if the machine is restarted again, you dont have to run "gather" as all the variables persist in variables.dat.
All of the above is an educated guess as I have searched the web extensively and have not found a definitive explanation. I would be grateful if anything above could be confirmed/denied so this could remain as a definitive guide that may not help just
me, but others :-).

Mail adapter fails when using Mail Package Format

Hi.
Using XI 3.0 stack level 9.
When i set up the mail adapeter to Use mail package format (by ticking the "Use Mail Package") checkbox I get the following error :
"error occured: [2005-09-14T09:42:46Z] unable to call the mailer; com.sap.aii.messaging.srt.BubbleException: Failed to call the endpoint [null "null"]; nested exception caused by: com.sap.aii.messaging.util.XMLScanException: expecting end tag: Mail, but found Subject at state 1".
The scenario is basic : file in mail out.
File coming in has the structure :

Error while using Mail Package for dynamic email address - XMLScanException

Hi All,
i am trying to implement File_to_Mail Scanrio. Here i am using mail package stuff to make use the dynamic mail Id's. i am following the blog /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/03/07/mail-adapter-xi--how-to-implement-dynamic-mail-address. i have finished all the settings as per the blog but it throwing the following error
failed to send mail: com.sap.aii.messaging.util.XMLScanException: expecting start tag: Mail, but found Mail at state 1
Please help me to resolve this error.

My SSIS package retrieves a excel file and saves the vales into an SQL table. When I run the package by itself in my server it works fine but when it's called from a SQL agent, it fails with the above error. Please help me resolve it.

That's the issue. If it's a SQL login the password cannot be retrieved by account executing the package from the job which is why login fails. In that case best thing would be set password in job properties or pass it using configuration created in the package

My package is saved with ServerStorage which appears under \\server\Stored Packages\MSDB\PACKAGE and when I run it, it works fine.

Error while sending a mail using UTP_MAIL package in Oracle 10g

We are using UTP_MAIL package to send a mail from Oracle 10g.We have follwed the following steps ...

From your own posting you may have the clue, if you try to access your mail server through telnet and it is not successful, it means the service is down or there are networking issues.
On pre 10gR2 versions there was a bug 4083461.8. It could affect you if you are on 10gR1

The IP in that URL is a localhost IP address - and that means using the local IP stack only. So it expects a web server on the Oracle server platform on tcp port 7101. It cannot use that IP to access your client/development machine.
How can I test it using UTL_HTTP?You can write a basic web browser, minus the rendering engine, using UTL_HTTP. You can also use it for web service calls - which is my preference as I deem the UTL_DBWS package to clunky and complex.

Failed to load Execute Package Task error.

Hello Experts,
Excuse my newbie question.
Execute Package Task: Error: The task has failed to load. The contact information for the task is "Microsoft Corporation; Microsoft SQL Server; Microsoft corporation; All Rights Reserved http://www.microsoft.com/sql/support/default.asp:1"
We have a windows service running on our app server that deploys a package that executes other packages using execute package task. This package and rest of the packages are in the same folder at the same level under integration services
catalog. The package fails to execute with the above said error.
Execute package task is configured to run in 'in-process' mode. Changing delay validation to true/false in child packages didn't help.
ironically if the package is deployed using a console application from the app server the package gets executed just fine. I checked permissions, everything seem fine.
Is there anyway to get details of this error to understand the problem better? I am looking at reports > standard reports > all executions.

As it turns out, the 63bit ExecPackageTask.dll was not found under "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\DTS\Binn". Installing "SQL Server Data Tools" installed only 32 bit version of the component under "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL
Server\110\DTS\Binn".
Is there a way to get 64bit version of this component without installing "Integration Services" (to avoid possible license issues)?

To make use of the 64-bit ExecPackageTask.dll, you also need the 64-bit SSIS runtime and 64-bit DTExec utility tool. To obtain the 64-bit SSIS runtime and tools, you have to install the SQL Server Integration Services service from your SQL Server 2012 install

Error logging using DBMS_ERRLOG package

Hi All,
We have following tables, which are growing day-by-day and giving performance problems.
There are total 25 tables (1 parent and 24 child tables, with different structures).
Here i gave some Samples, NOT actual table structures.
Actually we don't require all the data for our regular activities.
So we thought of moving part of the data into Other (Archive) tables, on daily basis.
Using SOME criteria, we are finding eligible records to be moved into Archive tables.
All child records follows the Parent.

In production, we may require to archive 25000 Parent records and 25000*4*3 child records per day.
Now the problem is:
By any chance, if record fails, We want to know the Exact record ,just "c_id" for the particular table
where the error raised and Error message.
We thought of using DBMS_ERRLOG package, but we CAN NOT log errors of Different tables into SINGLE error log table.
In the above case It require 3 Different tables and it logs all columns from the original table.
It's a un-necessary burden on the database.
We would be very glad, if anyone can help us with some good thought.

I am using receiver mail adapter. Its working fine when I do not use 'mail package option'. But when I use mail package option, this error comes in
Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.modules.conversion.xml2plain.ConversionException: No data is allowed on this structure level (2) at XML element Mail,Subject

I need the same info in my requirement . The Scenario is MAIL > FILE . THe Vendor sends the email with Invoices ( An Attachment) to a mail server and the attachment has to be moved to the network folder (File )
Here , I used IMAP4 Protocol in MAil Sender CC

Archiving files generated by PL/SQL program using UTL_FILE package

Dear All,
We have on PL/SQL package that is generating some data files using UTL_FILE package in one specific directory.
I am working on concurrent program of type host(unix script) to move generated file to some archive folder.
Now the problem is owner of the files generated by PL/SQL is oracle and file permissions of the generated files are 644(Only read permission for group and others).
Concurrent program is using an another os user applmgr to execute the script attached with concurrent program.
Because applmgr is not having write permission on the files, hence mv command is failing.
Please suggest me how to resolve this issue.

I just think that, you can create one sh which is chancing permission of related path owner for applmgr user and put it on crontab and it can run every 1 min.

Problem in Using Utl_Http package

Hi to all,
I'm trying to send the sms(Short Message Service) using utl_Http package. When I'm trying to run a sql statement like
SELECT utl_http.request('http://www.oracle.com/index.html') FROM dual
I'm getting an error message like this.
The following error has occurred:
ORA-29273: HTTP request failed
ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_HTTP", line 1577
ORA-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does not exist
ORA-06512: at line 1
